My wife and I cannot overstate how grateful we are to The Mansion at West Sayville for helping us throw the wedding of our dreams. The very moment we stepped foot in the building we knew it had to be our venue. From the century-old architecture and elegantly designed bright rooms to the immaculate views of the Great South Bay, The Mansion at West Sayville had everything we were looking for. Additionally, with his warm and kind personality, the General Manager Bob truly made us feel that we would be well taken care of every step of the wayâŠand we were absolutely right. Throughout all the planning Bob was extremely communicative, answering every one of the many questions we threw at him in a timely manner. He was also incredibly accommodating, working with us to not once, but twice change the location of our ceremony in the days leading up to the wedding due to inclement weather. On the day of our wedding everything went off without a hitch thanks to the MaĂźtre dâ Annmarie who was simply exceptional. She ensured every member of the wedding party knew what to do and where to be, always gave us a heads up about what was coming next, and consistently checked in to make sure we were having a good time. If all that wasnât enough, the food at The Mansion at West Sayville was out of this world! Everything served during cocktail hour was delicious, the steak we chose as a dinner option was huge and cooked to a perfect medium rare, and the seafood stuffed flounder was to die for. Compliments were flying left and right. All in all we could not have been happier with how everything came together and would highly, highly recommend The Mansion at West Sayville to anyone searching for an absolute gem of a venue to host their wedding or special event.

The most perfect venue! If youâre looking for an intimate location in a beautiful setting this is the spot. We do not have enough amazing things to say about Bob, Ann Marie and Camille. They were amazing to work with from the moment we toured the venue and could not be happier with our choice. My Husband and I got married at the Mansion at West Sayville on 7/22/23 and I wish I could relive that day forever! Bob and the enter staff were absolutely phenomenal. Everything was perfect and beautiful, and they executed our vision exactly as we wanted. The Maitre'd and Bridal Attendant were kind and attentive, they cared about us and the entire wedding party and catered to any request or need we had without us even having to ask. The venue is timeless and cozy, our guests were blown away by the scene and the food. Needless to say, our experience was absolutely amazing and the staff at the Mansion know exactly what they're doing. We couldn't have been happier or asked for a better day!

I booked here 2 years before my wedding and canât thank Bob enough for everything over those 2 years! He helped keep me relaxed and laughing throughout this whole process! My wedding was absolutely perfect and weâve been told by almost everyone that it was the best wedding theyâve ever been to! Everyone has raved about the food but even more about the staff and how wonderful they all were. Iâm so sad that I wonât get to see Bob every couple months but hope to be back soon! I will be recommending this venue to everyone I know getting married or in need of a wonderful event!

My cousin recommended this venue to me. I'm not sure where to start, from the first e-mail to our final meeting we had an awesome experience. Everyone was very accommodating and super nice, it made us feel like we made the right choice before the big day. I didn't really feel like we had to worry about anything. Our big day was February 24th and everything went amazing. We used all recommended vendors from the Mansion at West Sayville. They were amazing from the DJ, to the photography, florist, and the desserts, they exceeded our expectation. The food was amazing! We'd like to give a huge shout out to Annemarie and Camille. AnneMarie and Camille seriously made us feel like a king and queen that day anything we needed they were already a few steps ahead. They really made our day. Bob the manger was responsive, great and patient. He was able to answer every single question we asked. The staff was attentive and took care of our guests. My guests had a great experience with the staff. The venue sets up everything. On our big day we did not have to worry about ANYTHING. Everything was taken care of for us. We just showed up and had the time of our life. We are so happy we decided to get married here. Everything came out perfect. There is nothing we would change about our big day. I would definitely recommend the Mansion at West Sayville for anyone looking for a non stressful beautiful wedding. The team is awesome and the location is stunning.

Bob the manager, Annemarie the maitreâd, and Camille our bridal attendant were incredible. It rained unfortunately so our plans to have an outdoor ceremony shifted, but it was a seamless transition. We got married on 11/12/22 and from start to finish this venue was a dream. We did the vendor package which was not only cost effective but also made planning so much easier without feeling too restrictive. Bob was incredibly helpful from our first visit to the wedding day itself. You immediately get a strong sense that the staff is very experienced and knows what theyâre doing - so comforting. On the day of, Ann Marie helped coordinate everything. From set up to tear down, she had it all under control and made it so my husband and I could just enjoy the ceremony and reception. I also heard from our guests that the waitstaff was attentive, helpful and friendly. I canât recommend this team enough and Iâm so grateful to have had my wedding here!

Bob is a pleasure to work with - he made sure all our requests were handled and he even let me and my bridesmaids get ready in the bridal suite at 8 am the day of, which was something that was promised to me with the original manager we had previously booked with. Bob was very easy to get in touch with during the planning process and even answered my late night emails promptly. Our MaitreâD, Annmarie, was absolutely amazing. She is extremely organized and kept the day running smoothly. She was able to wrangle our bridal parties and families together when needed, and calmed our nerves during the most important parts of the day. The servers and bartenders were all friendly, welcoming and excellent at their jobs. We seriously cannot recommend the Mansion at West Sayville enough!

The venue is up the road from my parentâs house and I grew up going to various parties here and theyâve always been amazing. I also had my bridal shower here. They really are a hidden gem. The view is incredible and it has such a romantic charm to it. We had the most amazing sunset and everyone kept raving about how beautiful it was. Bob was so easy to work with throughout the process. The night of I had Annmarie as my maitreâd and she was amazing. She ran the show, kept everything in check, and bustled my dress in 3 minutes and it never broke. Camille was our bridal assistant and she is so so sweet. The food was delish, the staff was on top of their game. The bartenders were great too! I was also very particular on how I wanted things set up and was able to go the day before and decorate exactly the way I wanted it to look! It put me at such ease to know that everything was already done with my exact vision. It was truly all perfect

I had so many guests come up to me gushing about how good the food was and not just the entrees. EVERYTHING. We went with the vendor package and we are so glad we did. We did our first look by the glass conservatory then moved over to the dock. I can't speak highly enough of the staff and honestly I don't know what I would have done without them!! Everyone was a true expert on how to run a smooth wedding day that I did not have to lift a finger. And the food! I had so many guests come up to me gushing about how good the food was and not just the entrees. EVERYTHING. We went with the vendor package and we are so glad we did. This venue really is something else- you have big open windows, the water, the golf course, a greenhouse. You will not regret booking this venue.

My husband and I had our reception at the Mansion at West Sayville on 6/12/21. When we stepped inside the mansion for the first time in 2019 we loved the ambiance and style of the mansion with it's beautiful rustic and romantic feel. Throughout all of Covid we never felt taken advantage of and everyone we worked with at the mansion upheld our original contract and agreements. They made the stresses of planning a wedding through Covid very manageable and never caused us to worry. We always felt very taken care of.Everything about our day was perfect. I remember walking into the mansion for the first time on our wedding day and feeling overwhelmed with happiness at how gorgeous the mansion looked and how well everything had come together. Bob was very accommodating with our arrival time in order for us to take pictures prior to our cocktail hour so we could enjoy our entire reception. The mansion grounds are absolutely stunning & we were able to work with the LIMM to take pictures on the docks. We took gorgeous shots by the greenhouse, outside on the lawn during sunset later on in the evening and inside the mansion prior to cocktail hour which allowed us to enjoy our cocktail hour and greet our guests as they arrived. Annemarie was incredible leading up to and on our day. When we arrived, she brought us up to the bridal suite and made sure we had everything we needed. The day went so smoothly because of her, and she is always right there taking care of anything you need and is always one step ahead, which is what you need on your wedding day! Our guests enjoyed the gorgeous outdoor cocktail hour, with it's beautiful views of the Great South Bay (it also helped we had a great day in terms of weather in June). The food and drinks were fantastic and everyone had such a good time dancing and celebrating throughout the night. We are so grateful to everyone at the mansion for helping us create our perfect wedding day.

My husband and I had our reception at the Mansion at West Sayville on 6/12/21. When we stepped inside the mansion for the first time in 2019 we loved the ambiance and style of the mansion with it's beautiful rustic and romantic feel. In the few days before our wedding, I met Ann Marie and she was so incredibly sweet, knowledgeable and on top of things. AnnMarie was AMAZING, she was super helpful and very efficient. Everything was super organized and stress-free for me! ALL of my guests have said that the food was amazing and that they could not believe how much food it was! on 9/20/19 my husband and I got married at the Mansion at West Sayville. It was not only a gorgeous sunny day but the venue was so beautiful and set up with all of our wedding colors and favors. Steve and Anne-Marie were so very helpful and amazing. They even brought drinks and fruits to the bridal suite for my bridesmaids and I while we were getting dressed. I had 2 flower girls and one burst into hysterical tears right before walking down the aisle and Anne-Marie grabbed her hand and walked down with her halfway. It was very sweet and it definitely took away my stress. The day went by in a blur but we loved every second of our wedding. Only wish it lasted longer. The venue is rustic but the view of the water during our ceremony was amazing. The only thing that can be annoying is that it is a golf course so people will be golfing during the day but if your ceremony starts at 5pm like ours did - all of the golfers disperse. So it really isn't a problem. I would recommend getting the vendor package if you are booking with Mansion - it is very affordable and all of the vendors were amazing. Especially our cake form Audrey's. Thanks again to Steve, Anne-Marie and everyone at the Mansion at West Sayville!

We MOST certainly picked the right place for our wedding when we chose the Mansion at West Sayville. Kid you not we literally went to 20 venues before finding this gem. It had everything we wanted and captured us as a couple PERFECTLY! From our outdoor ceremony down by the docks on the water (since we're big boaters), to taking pictures with my bridesmaids by the greenhouse (which is special to me since my husband built me my own in our backyard), to cocktail hour on the back patio while the sun sets with perfect views (another hobby of ours) , to the mansion its self is another part of this treasure which I adored. Steve is hands down the best when it comes to being attentive and making all of our requests possible. To Annemarie making sure every detail is on point the day of and Jojo for being the hardest worker behind the scenes. This team is truly amazing and made all of our dreams came true and our guest are still raving about it! Numerous people keeping on saying \"the best wedding they've ever been to\" thanks to all the hard work the Mansion did for us. We could not be any happier and owe it all to them!

Our wedding was here on 9/6/2019. Everything was literally perfect! From the beginning when we met with Steve we knew this was where we wanted to have our wedding! He was amazing start to end. I emailed him allll the time with questions and he responded within a few hours! He was so accommodating and great by the time the wedding came along I felt like he was part of the family. The day of our wedding was when we had the remnants of Hurricane Dorian but we were not letting it ruin our day and neither were Steve or Annmarie! We booked the docks at the museum for pictures and were able to get some done! We took pictures on the green also with the amazing background. We had to have cocktail hour inside and I was so nervous because we had 205people at our wedding. I was freaking out about the space and having to push cocktail hour inside but it worked so well!! My guests still went outside to hangout and mingle from time to time as it wasnât raining just more windy. When I say not one thing went wrong on our wedding day, I am not lying. Steve and Annmarie are so experienced with wedding planning that there was not ONE hiccup during the cocktail hour or reception. Annmarie had drinks and all the cocktail hour food for us waiting in the bridal suite and we took 20 minutes to ourselves to eat and just take a step back to enjoy each other. All night I always had a drink in my hand (my Blue moon beer or pumpkin beer), Annemarie made sure of it. She would just come up to me nonchalantly and switch my beer for me. She really went above and beyond. There was even a point in the wedding night that I stopped just to look at my guests dancing and Annemarie was next to me and just like Steve, I felt like she was part of the family. I couldnât have asked more from her. Because of her the day went perfect. Our waitress. JoJo, we met a few weeks prior from when we were scoping out the table situation and dropping things off. She is amazing as well. I asked if she could be my husband and Iâs Waitress and she was on top of everything for us.Our wedding was two weeks ago but my guests are still RAVING about the food. The salmon with lobster sauce, seafood paella, mashed potato bar and lasagna is all Iâve been hearing about since the wedding!!! A few people even asked me if they cater! From day one I said this venue was a hidden gem! The view overlooking the bay is just stunning and make for beautiful pictures. The mansion itself is beautiful and really gives a close, home feeling which we wanted our wedding to be. Our guests said it was one of the best weddings theyâve been to and despite the weather being windy and damp it didnât seem to bother anyone! The price and location is amazing and I would recommend this venue over and over again to anyone for any occasion!

Steve and Annmarie are so experienced with wedding planning that there was not ONE hiccup during the cocktail hour or reception. Annmarie had drinks and all the cocktail hour food for us waiting in the bridal suite and we took 20 minutes to ourselves to eat and just take a step back to enjoy each other. All night I always had a drink in my hand (my Blue moon beer or pumpkin beer), Annemarie made sure of it. She would just come up to me nonchalantly and switch my beer for me. She really went above and beyond. There was even a point in the wedding night that I stopped just to look at my guests dancing and Annemarie was next to me and just like Steve, I felt like she was part of the family. I couldnât have asked more from her. Because of her the day went perfect. Our waitress. JoJo, we met a few weeks prior from when we were scoping out the table situation and dropping things off. She is amazing as well. I asked if she could be my husband and Iâs Waitress and she was on top of everything for us.Our wedding was two weeks ago but my guests are still RAVING about the food. The salmon with lobster sauce, seafood paella, mashed potato bar and lasagna is all Iâve been hearing about since the wedding!!! A few people even asked me if they cater! From day one I said this venue was a hidden gem! The view overlooking the bay is just stunning and make for beautiful pictures. The mansion itself is beautiful and really gives a close, home feeling which we wanted our wedding to be. Our guests said it was one of the best weddings theyâve been to and despite the weather being windy and damp it didnât seem to bother anyone! The price and location is amazing and I would recommend this venue over and over again to anyone for any occasion!

We had our July 4th wedding here and it was absolutely perfect. The food was amazing, we got so many compliments from our guests about the food. Steve is awesome and so helpful when planning up to the big day. He is flexible and will truly try and make any ideas you have happen. Annie was our maitre d and we couldnât have asked for anyone better. The entire day ran so smoothly from photos, cocktail hour, introductions, toasts, etc. I felt absolutely no stress throughout the whole reception and was able to have the best time. Not to mention the venue is beautiful, views of the Great South Bay, beautiful gardens, and the prettiest dance floor!! I knew I wanted to have string lights at my wedding, so when I saw them strung up over the dance floor I was sold! West Sayville made our wedding day so special, people are still talking about how great everything was!

Amazing! We fell in love with this venue right away and with how friendly and informative Steve was. This was the first place we looked at and choose them after looking at a few other places. Steve responded immediately when I had questions and gave us great advice. On the big day Steve, Anne Marie the Maitre D and Camille made sure we both ate, caught and corrected seating mistakes before they became issues and mediated wedding day âfamily dramaâ. The packed up so much food for us we were able to feed a houseful of friends and family. I received so many compliments on the food and staff. We chose the package deal and Iâm so happy that we did. All of the vendors were great and responsive. The DJ had everyone up dancing, which can be challenging at a day wedding. They even found a golf cart to bring me to and from the ceremony location next door (walking in 4 inch heels on a dock can be tricky!). The Mansion is a great place to host a party and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a charming nautical location.

We had SEVERAL people tell us the Filet Mignon was the BEST steak they have ever had at a wedding, the maid of honor commenting that it was one of the best steaks she has ever had. The view and ambiance at the Mansion is truly beautiful and we were lucky enough to have a gorgeous day. So many guests commented on how beautiful the venue was, the quality of the food from cocktail hour to dessert, and what a wonderful day it was all around. Steve was so great to work with and our Maitre D Ann Marie was so helpful throughout the day. Couldn't find one negative thing to say if we tried.

Our wedding was on 9/30/17. Overall the day was PERFECT. Camille, our Maitre'd did a fabulous job & the entire day was beautiful. Although we planned for the wedding to be on the dock, I am not even the slightest bit disappointed that it ended up inside due to the rain. The ceremony was really set up beautifully, as was the reception room. The staff brought my vision to life and I loved looking at every detail! Our food was delicious and Camille made sure we ate, that our food did not get cold, and that our drinks were always full. Not to mention, the renovated bridal suite is so pretty and cozy!! It really was the best day ever. Steve, the general manager, was extremely helpful through the entire planning process and quickly answered my numerous emails with questions and requests. These guys really know what they are doing! Highly recommended.

Our wedding was on 9/30/17. Overall the day was PERFECT. Camille, our Maitre'd did a fabulous job & the entire day was beautiful. Although we planned for the wedding to be on the dock, I am not even the slightest bit disappointed that it ended up inside due to the rain. We can't say enough positive things about Mansion at West Sayville, Steve, Annie and the rest of the staff! The venue takes our breath away, inside and on the outdoor brick patio for cocktail hour. We love that they maintained the historic, homey feel of it with the period wallpaper and two fireplaces. So many guests loved that the dance floor was separated from the dining room by a wall with 3 french doors which allowed for the lights to stay a little brighter in the dining room and better volume control. You still felt very much part of the party no matter where you were in the room. The place is elegant and charming. We had about 170 guests and it never felt too crowded, even when most of the party was on the dance floor. The food was PHENOMENAL, even with the most basic package and we loved having one, more filling and longer first course. The chef took into account all kinds of dietary restrictions. The cake from Audrey's Bakery was amazing as well. From the very first tour, Steve was accommodating, explained all our options without pushing pricier packages (unlike so many other venues) and was so sweet about letting the bride bring different family members over the weekend to see the place. He always answered emails promptly and kept on top of the different changes we made throughout the process. The groom is in the military and Steve made it clear that a change in his orders would not lose us our deposit, which gave us peace of mind. Steve was flexible about our meeting dates to accommodate when we were in NY and was always so gracious and helpful. On the day of, Annie was equally as incredible, moving the events along smoothly and working with our DJ and photographer. We felt more like guests than hosts and spent so much time with our loved ones and on the dance floor. The staff was wonderful to everyone and wrapped food and cake for us to take home.Thank you Steve, Annie and all the staff for an amazing party and a flawless, beautiful evening!

Everyone loved the food and the venue. You get an AMAZING sunset in the evening. Everyone was inside and out the entire day because the scenery is outstanding. My husband and I got married on September 10th, 2016. The manager Steve took amazing care of us. anything I wanted, he made possible. He made sure tables were set up DAYS before my wedding so my bridal party and I could set up the centerpieces and favors and the room to how I wanted it. He also allowed me to keep my wedding dress in the bridal suite for 2 days until the wedding because I was living with my husband and my mom prior to the wedding so I really had no where to hide it. Annemarie was the maitre d and she was on point! She made sure we had food in the bridal suite for in between the ceremony and cocktail hour. she kept our cups full and us happy. I recommend this place to anyone getting married. I wish I could do it all over just so I could work with them again.

Absolutely amazing venue and staff. From the minute we entered the mansion, my husband and I knew this was where we wanted to get married. It definitely has a rustic appeal which we liked. There was so much natural light with the windows lining the back. Steve was amazing to work with from the start. He always responded to my emails the same day and was available whenever we wanted to drop by. Annmarie was our maitre d' for the day of our wedding and she was awesome. She kept everything running smoothly and kept everyone when and where they needed to be. She brought us our cocktail hour food in the bridal suite as we waited for our reception entrance, which was great. At the end of the night, I couldn't believe how fast she had everything cleaned up and our decorations in boxes. She even packed us food to go that we didn't finish. The staff and servers for our day of were incredible. They constantly checked in with the women of the bridal suite to make sure we had water, drinks, etc. During the reception we were also constantly doted on, as were our guests. The food was amazing and our guests raved about the cocktail hour and their entrees. We can't say enough great things about the West Sayville Country Club- everyone was phenomenal and I highly recommend this venue for any occasion!

Thank you to Steve and the staff at the Mansion. Our 6/25/16 wedding was the most perfect day and we feel we picked the perfect venue for us. From the start, Steve was flexible, responsive, and listened to all our needs. Selling points for us were the layout of the dining room and dance floor - they are separated by beautiful french doors and glass windows. Our 130 guests either danced the night away or had conversation at the tables without music bothering them! Also, the food. People are still talking about our cocktail hour menu. Luckily for us, we had the most gorgeous weather and enjoyed a \"cocktail hour and a half\" overlooking the Great South Bay. Guests arrived at 5pm and sat on the patio until dinner, then returned back outside for sunset pictures. I didn't meet the maitre'd Annemarie until the day of - she was professional and absolutely outstanding at her job. She gave me pros/cons of certain day-of decision quickly and I trusted her to take over the flow of the evening, even though we were a bride and groom who strongly preferred eating and THEN dancing. Annemarie and Steve always listened to our wants and needs and added their professional input after they understood why we wanted/needed what we did. The staff was attentive and friendly and at the end of the night all our decorations, cake, flowers, and the meal I never ate were packed up and ready to go. I had to handle all decorations - but with the right florist (venue recommended) and photographer (engagement shots in frames) and Pinterest ideas, my guests were actually giving me compliments on my decor. I used the Mansion's idyllic seaside setting as inspiration. At the end of the day, remember brides, it's not about the decorations - you and your guests will remember the food, the dancing, the company. And when the wedding's over, you'll remember just the happy moments. This venue left us with only happy memories thanks to a great set-up, excellent food, and outstanding service.

We had our wedding at the Mansion at West Sayville in November 2016 and it was the best day! Our ceremony was outside. The views from both inside and outside of the venue are incredible. Steve was extremely helpful with the planning process. He was highly available and responded promptly to all of our questions. When we found out that there was going to be scaffolding on the day of our wedding Steve was accommodating and made sure that we didn't even notice the scaffolding on our wedding day. He was very apologetic and candid about everything that was going on. Our guests were impressed by the food, my husband and I received so many comments on how amazing the food was. Our guests were also pleasantly surprised about the quality of the wedding cake, which is included in the price of the venue. My husband and I added the Viennese table as an enhancement for the desert and our guests were absolutely blown away by the presentation and the quality of the desserts. The Viennese table brought the class and caliber of the entire day up a notch. Annie was our maĂźtre d' and she was also very organized and made sure the flow of the day was seamless. My daughter and son in law fell in love with it. Steve was so accommodating throughout the whole planning process. The day of the wedding was so great!! We could not have asked for anything more. They got married on the dock next door at the West Sayville Maritime Museum which is just a short walk from the venue. A cocktail hour followed outdoors overlooking the bay and golf course. We just had our wedding here this past weekend 10/22/16. I was obsessed with venue from the first day I visited. I wanted something that was different from all the other venues on Long Island. I love that it is right on the great south bay, and that the place doesn't look like a cookie cutter Long Island Wedding venue. The whole day was amazing, and the staff at West Sayville made sure everything was perfect. Throughout the planning process, Steve was so helpful, answering every question within hours of me emailing it to him. On the day of, Ann Marie took over and made sure the whole night ran smoothly. It was like every time I had a question, Ann Marie was right in front of me to answer it. The wait staff and bartenders were great. Very polite and attentive, and I wish I remember the waitress who was on our table, but she was wonderful. She would find us whenever the next course was served and have us sit to eat. They also packed up all our food we didn't eat up for us and sent it home with my parents (we were able to enjoy it the next day). Everyone was raving about the food! We didn't get to eat at the cocktail hour but from what everyone said, it was outstanding. The entrees were amazing I don't think anyone didn't enjoy their meal. Really was the best food I've ever had at a wedding venue. Thank you to the staff of West Sayville for making sure we had the perfect day!

We got married at the Mansion at West Sayville in June of this year, and they truly helped to make it the best day ever! Steve and Annmarie were both extremely helpful throughout the whole process - from day 1 always quickly answering our questions via email to making sure everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. Loved the location by the water, and the fact that there is only 1 wedding at a time. We had cocktail hour outside on the patio and were able to set up some lawn games. We liked the layout of the room inside, and our guests were on the dance floor the entire night! Overall, had a great experience at this venue. Wouldn't change a thing.

We had our wedding there on 10/7/16, we chose the view and the staff. The view of the bay is breathtaking, we knew that even if we were unfortunate to have a rainy wedding day it would still be a beautiful ceremony indoors with that view! Steve sold us the place with his personality and knowledge, he patiently sat with us through not one but two tastings to ensure we were 100% happy with our menu. The star of the show... Annemarie was AMAZING! From the second she walked into my bridal suite that day I was immediately put at ease. I could finally shut my brain off and enjoy my wedding knowing that everything was in her hands. She made sure that every detail was perfect! How she gets it all done (in heels!!) is truly a miracle! The rest of the staff was equally unparalleled! The bartender somehow managed to know all 100 of my guests drink's before the end of cocktail hour lol. The wait staff was top notch, they made sure every request and order was met 100%. We couldn't be happier that we chose this place for our big day, it was perfect in every way and we will cherish our memories there forever.

We were married on July 3rd at the Mansion at West Sayville-- and my husband and I had the most wonderful experience, and the most PERFECT wedding day! We were completely blown away by how wonderfully we were taken care of, from the day we toured the Mansion originally, up until our very last dance. Steve Braun makes you feel like family from the beginning. You can tell that he genuinely cares about his couples--he wants to know exactly what you want, and explains how he will make it happen. Steve was so incredibly flexible, warm, responsive, and professional from start to finish. He is so calm and organized- just what a bride and groom need! He is so thorough in explaining every last detail, and so accommodating. And then, theres AnnMarie. Steve was NOT KIDDING when every worry I had for the day-of, his response was-- AnnMarie will take care of that. Okay, if I could TAILOR MAKE a person to help me on my wedding day, she would not even be as close to as awesome as AnnMarie. She got us food, drinks, handled the rehearsal, was extremely organized, and made sure everything went without a hitch--no detail was overlooked. When you're planning the wedding of your dreams, you need a person like AnnMarie on the day of your wedding! She is a woman after my own heart! When we got to the mansion after hair and makeup we were getting ready in the bridal suite-- and Camille came right up with fresh fruit and beverages, and got us everything we needed. We really felt like family. The Mansion itself is so beautiful. We got so many compliments on the food! Our guests are still telling us how amazing the food was, and several have said it was the best food at a wedding that they have had. The Mansion is NOT a gaudy wedding factory -- it is a rustic, charming, and intimate venue, with gorgeous scenery. My husband and I are so thankful for Steve, AnnMarie, and the team at the Mansion, for making the ENTIRE experience so amazing-- Thank you for the best day of our lives!

Annmarie was our maitre die and she was just as amazing. Day-of details were all taken care of seamlessly and she made us feel confident and comfortable throughout the day. The food was delicious. Our guests couldn't believe the beautiful views, scenic yard and back room for cocktail hour and dancing. We even had the chance to play some golf and yard games! Steve let us arrive early that morning to take care of all of the DIY details that we love to do. He has been doing this for a while...and it shows. The Mansion is a wedding gem of Long Island and I recommend brides consider it for their big day. Convenience, flexibility, high-quality service and beautiful grounds. My fiancé Pedro and I have been dating for several years and he finally popped the question in his beautiful town in Mexico. We had decided to be married in my home town of Long Island, NY. After visiting several venues we fell in LOVE with the Mansion at West Sayville. The venue is absolutely beautiful but what sold us was the GM Stephen Braun who went out of his way and was there on his day off just to accommodate us.He took his time to give us a magnificent tour and unfortunately the date we wanted was booked. He referred us to other properties within his company but to be honest, my heart is set on this being that he was so hospitable and truly professional. His Matre D Anne Marie was lovely as well. I told Steve I would have to break it to Pedro that our wedding day may have to wait being that my heart is set on this place due to the beauty and the staff. Looking forward to a perfect wedding at West Sayville!

I had my wedding at the Long Island Maritime Museum because we invited over 300 -- we couldn't fit at the country club. But West Sayville Country Club catered the wedding. Steve was my go-to guy, and he was absolutely phenomenal. So helpful, so reliable, and responded promptly to phone calls and emails. The food was amazing. People complimented it the entire time. The weather was perfect, which helped, but regardless, Steve had everything covered. I was extremely impressed and would highly recommend working with him and the country club.

Steve and Annie did a great job helping my husband and I plan our wedding. The day went so smoothly. Everyone loved the food both at cocktail hour and at dinner. The space kept everyone moving around and exploring. The view of the Great South Bay was beautiful.

Steve and Ann Marie are fabulous and guests were raving and still are. All of the vendors we used that they suggested were amazing as well. Great place!!

I loved the Mansion at West Sayville. The staff, manager, and maitre'd were all helpful and accommodating. We were able to customize the whole menu if we wanted to, which we did for everything but the entrees.\r\rWe had our ceremony and reception there, and the transition between ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception was flawless. The coordinator asked me questions on the fly and did exactly as I instructed immediately. I was so impressed with everything.\r\rIf you're not in the mood to be creative, they give you suggestions for vendors and their default menu has so many options.\r\rI personally can't really comment on the food because I didn't get to eat that day...but all the guests said that it was all great and they were impressed with everything.

The Mansion at West Sayville was perfect!! Our ceremony had the most beautiful backdrop of the ocean, our cocktail hour was at sunset and the view was spectacular. The Manager Steve, was helpful and very responsive with any questions. Ann Marie was very good about keeping everything on the wedding day on track and on time. All of our guests raved about all the food!.. the steaks were huge and the cocktail hour food was ample and delicious. This place is great.. we truly recommend it if you are looking for an intimate reception place.

This venue has a rustic seaside charm that provides the ideal environment for the DIY/Etsy/Pinterest project-loving bride. Located on a golf course across from Fire Island along the Great South Bay, this restored historic house has recently been renamed The Mansion at West Sayville. I had a wonderful experience working with the staff. I found them to be very helpful and responsive (especially over e-mail), which was key since I planned every detail of the event across the country in Los Angeles. Here are some other aspects I loved about this place: \r\r1)Budget-Friendly. The price you are quoted also includes the (++), which definitely eliminates any surprises. I had my ceremony/reception on a Sunday and they let us pick out any five-hour time slot we wanted. Some places restrict you to windows they've already pre-established, which to me, is limiting. \r2) Non-Cookie Cutter Catering Hall. Since it has windows across the entire back wall overlooking a large & lush meadow, you'll always have natural light streaming in, so youâll never feel as though youâre in a dungeon. You also get your choice in table linens (they have access to a variety of colors), where as most venues give you a choice of only two-three. \r3) DIY-Friendly. Steve, the manager and his MaitreâDs are no strangers to brides coming in a day or two before the wedding with boxes of personal touches and crafts. \r4) Beautiful Renovations. Theyâve installed a brand new carpet in the dining area, and swapped out the maroon-brown Chiavari chair cushions for a neutral ivory color. But perhaps the biggest change is in the dance floor area. The entire floor is now a gorgeous dark brown wood (no carpet at all!), the ceiling matches the cushions with ivory fabric panels (no more green) and they've expanded and revamped the bar area into an L-shape. \r5) Tasty Food. I was shocked over how good the apps and dishes were. We went with the buffet option which I highly recommend.

My bridesmaids had my bridal shower at the Mansion at West Sayville. It is a beautiful venue and the food was great. The staff was wonderful as well!

After looking at several locations and comparing prices, my now husband and I decided to stay 'close to home' and wed at WSCC. Having grown up together in the town, it seemed to only make sense to get married there. \r\rWe never imagined how absolutely perfect this decision could have been for us. The manager, Steve, was always available to answer my questions throughout the entire planning process. The rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful on the day-of, too! The bridal attendant absolutely knows what she is doing and she's by your side at every moment when you might (and don't realize) you need her.\r\rAll the guests raved about the food (I highly recommend the Chicken Voldastano as an entree option). I even had a guest who is very particular about wedding venue food tell me that they had some of the best he'd ever tasted. \r\rThe liquor is top shelf, we were able to supply a recipe for a 'signature drink' and we upgraded our beer selection to Bluepoint so we could include some seasonal offerings (Pumpkin and Octoberfest), since we were married in October. For the bride and groom, the staff makes sure that you have a few minutes to actually sit and eat your own meal, and your drink glass was never empty. Our bridal party remarked that even they felt like VIP's any time they were at the bar or needed something.\r\rAs for my ceremony: Due to circumstances not within WSCC's control (the weather), my ceremony was moved inside. They gave me up until about four hours before the ceremony to decide where to hold it - and at the final hour, we moved it inside. I was initially weary about this plan as the ceremony took place on the dance floor, which was also in this case the cocktail hour space (cocktail hour was held in the main reception space as well)... but everything flowed so smoothly that you didn't even notice you were continually in the same area. \r\rAnother great perk to WSCC is that they are neighbors to the Long Island Maritime Museum - which allows WSCC guests to go over and take photos. Though it was periodically raining and drizzling the entire day, the weather let up just long enough for us to get photos outside, and we walked over to the docks to get some cute bridal party photos. If you're lucky, you can also get a pretty stellar sunset photo.\r\rI'm very happy with our decision to choose WSCC and all of its vendors... I just wish the day hadn't gone so fast! I'd like to do it all over again!

He was incredible at responding to emails in a timely manner and he and his time (Annie!) made our big day flow flawlessly. We (and our guests) adored the set up and the team set up our decor perfectly. Would recommend this venue to everyone!

I could not have asked for more in a wedding venue! Steve was incredible helping us plan everything and Annemarie, the Maitre'D was so helpful and competent on the day of, she made the entire day run smoothly and was so easy to work with. My husband and I had an amazing day. More importantly my guests praised the staff, such professionalism. Steve helped us through a few sticky family situations 2 days before the wedding. Ann Marie was very helpful and overall made my husband and I feel like a bride and groom. We all had such a great time and lots of fun. I love looking at my photos and reliving the day. I fell in love from the moment I walk through the doors! The house is s pretty and was just what I was looking for my wedding day! It overlooks the water/bay/marina which is so breathtaking and romantic during sunset. Everyone was so helpful and even when we had some wedding day glitches, they were easily remedied with ease. They work hard for you and are wonderful people! Food is great! Place is beautiful! I highly recommend!!!

Steve - the head guy at West Sayville - is amazing. They were willing to work with us on everything that we needed and wanted. The place is gorgeous and was perfect for our beautiful June wedding. Anne Marie - the maitre d' wsa also incredible.

I have to agree with everything everyone already said. WSCC is absolutely amazing. I loved my wedding and it was honestly, better than I ever thought it would be. It's a beautiful old house in a great location. I LOVE the way the room is set up (with the dance floor and bar separated by french doors). Not only is it pretty, but it makes a great party room. The older guests at my wedding were able to talk in the dining room and still be party of the music and dancing. The set up is one of the reasons I choose this place.\r\rAnother reason I chose it was the beautiful grounds around it. We planned on getting married on the dock of the maritime museum. Unfortunately, it rained on our wedding day. We needed to do the ceremony inside in the dance floor room, which I really didn't think was going to be so great. I, of course, wanted the water view they would also have to switch the room into the cocktail hour room quickly (that was also going to be outside). Ann Marie did an amazing job with this! The ceremony was beautiful (also thanks to Bayport Flowers) and the transition was very smooth and well organized. \r\rAnn Marie, the maitre d', could not have been more professional, organized, and helpful. She made everything easy for us and we had anything we needed. My husband, his friends, and most of my family all drink Jameson. I had told them this would be a popular choice. At one point during the wedding, a bartender told us they were close to running out. We told Ann Marie we were concerned about it and she told us not to worry, she would fix it. Before we knew it, they were FULLY stocked and we NEVER ran out. \r\rI could probably go on and on about this place. You really can't go wrong. It was a great deal, a gorgeous wedding, and our friends and family can't stop telling us what a great time they had. It really was perfect.
