I can not say enough about how amazing my daughter's wedding reception was. Marriott East did an amazing job helping us put it together. That met all of our needs and even anticipated things we had forgotten. I was able to enjoy this special event with out the worry or stress that many of my friends had described. The Bluegrass room was beautiful and the flow of the event was perfect. They even were nice enough to donate our left over cake to a local homeless shelter for us. I would not have changed a thing.\r

I can not say enough about how amazing my daughter's wedding reception was. Marriott East did an amazing job helping us put it together. My wife and I were extremely happy with our overall experience with the Marriott East. Our planner, Audrey Petty was very easy to work with and she made sure that every detail was just how we wanted it. The food was amazing. We had several compliments from guests on the food. The wait staff was very courteous and went out of their way to make us feel special. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is looking to have a reception in Louisville. You will not find a better indoor venue anywhere!

My wife and I were extremely happy with our overall experience with the Marriott East. Our planner, Audrey Petty was very easy to work with and she made sure that every detail was just how we wanted it. The food was amazing. We had several compliments from guests on the food. The wait staff was very courteous and went out of their way to make us feel special. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone who is looking to have a reception in Louisville. You will not find a better indoor venue anywhere!

As a bride who wanted a very short engagement (less than 4 months) I knew finding a reception venue would be difficult. To my surprise, the Louisville Marriott East was available for our wedding day, and immediately the planning process was underway. Our event planner, Audrey Petty, was hands down the most wonderful person we could have ever gotten to work with. She not only helped us plan quickly, but she helped us plan perfectly-every detail, every request, every aspect- to truly make our reception outstanding. She is a woman on the ball, doesn't let anything slip by her, and is quick and efficient at making anything and everything a possibility. Ex: We had a number of requests in mind that had never been done by the Marriott before (including a \"make your own caramel apple station\") She made it happen, and it was an absolute hit! \rNot only did she handle our planning process and reception with excellence, but she organized a block of rooms for many of our family members traveling from out of state- making their stay easy, enjoyable and even slightest discounted! \rWe truly couldn't be more pleased with our entire experience at the Marriott and would gladly recommend wedding receptions to our friends and anyone looking for the perfect location for their big day!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding here a year ago on October 4, 2014, in the ballroom on the 2nd floor, and I cannot say enough good things about it. We worked with Audrey Petty to plan the reception, and she was wonderful. She answered all of our questions and helped us have the night of our lives. The ballroom was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. They were even super great about our families' various food allergies. Most of our guests stayed at the hotel as well and were very happy with their stay. I highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding reception! We had the time of our lives!
