Situated in Eclectic, AL, Marsgate is an elegant mansion wedding venue. Near Montgomery, Auburn, and Birmingham, it is run by the Marr family, who is dedicated to making a couple’s wedding vision a memorable reality. Their goal is to ensure a seamless and positive experience throughout the planning process and the event itself. The Marr family bought Marsgate in 2010 and since then it has been the site of many unforgettable get-togethers with loved ones. The Marrs' dream was to create an event venue that offered soon-to-be newlyweds a luxurious and convenient venue complemented by amiable hospitality. Inside the mansion, couples and their guests will encounter classic architectural details accented by numerous amenities and stylish furniture. With 12 fireplaces, 10 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, lofty ceilings, and more, the mansion's sense of grandeur can be felt from the moment of arrival. It provides a timeless setting for “I dos” and the festivities that follow. Marsgate is located on a property spanning more than 70 acres with 20,000 square feet of space for weddings. There are both indoor and outdoor areas available for events and the venue can accommodate over 200 guests. The multiple dressing rooms on site and the large kitchen make it easy for the wedding party and caterer to prepare for the event. Each package varies in the duration couples have access to the property and how much of the mansion they may utilize for their celebrations. The most inclusive bundle includes the rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and teardown the following day. In this option, couples can also use the terrace, main, and second levels for their function, and tables and chairs are provided.

As a videographer filming a wedding at Marsgate, it was the BEST experience! Marsgate is absolutely stunning, spacious, well-equipped, and ran by the kindest people. It was so nice that both the ceremony and reception can be held there with no need to change locations. There were plenty of beautiful spots on property and inside the house for videography and photography. I highly recommend!

The absolute perfect venue! Classic. Timeless. Beautiful! We rented the venue for the whole weekend and it absolutely exceeded expectations. We had to make a few adjustments due to weather, and Marsgate offers so many beautiful ceremony location options and so much space, there were no problems at all! We had a seated dinner inside and the layout was perfect for the staff to be hidden away to prep dinner and then serve as well. Highly recommend!

This venue is a beautiful and southern dream come true. You feel like a princess in your castle. Rita Falk is the most amazing venue coordinator and is so helpful! I could not recommend Marsgate more!

It was an absolutely honor to provide the wedding cakes at this breath taking venue. The staff were fantastic and the venue was magnificent! You will not be disappointed in using them for your wedding venue.

Loved working with Marsgate as a vendor. I love how it can fit tons of guests or you can use parts of the venue to make an event feel intimate as well. It’s beautiful on its own, so you can add lots or just a little to make it what you want!

Very clean property, beautiful spread for a wedding with many great areas to choose from for your ceremony. The interior of the venue is top notch with a bar, gym, game room with a pool table, darts, great furniture choices and decor throughout. Large parking area for all of your friends and family to park comfortably. We had great service and the Operators were always more than helpful to any causes or concerns we addressed, we couldn’t be happier with our experience!

This place is simply MAGICAL! It is a beautiful setting and the staff is amazing to work with no matter whether it is a photo shoot, an event or a 😍 wedding. The people at Marsgate pay attention to every detail to make sure the space is ready for your needs.
