Marshalltown Arts & Civic Center is a newly renovated mid-century modern event center in Marshalltown, IA, that is also home to the Fisher Art Museum with works by Mary Cassatt, Henri Matisse, Edgar Degas, and more! This stunning venue is perfect for hosting weddings and other celebrations, the ideal setting for one-of-a-kind events. Established by J.W. Fisher and his wife Dorothy in 1958 and is home to the Fisher Art Collection along with many stylish functional rooms, fully equipped with state-of-the-art electronics. Marshalltown Arts & Civic Center has multiple event spaces accommodating between 8 and 455 people, allowing you to choose a room perfectly sized for your occasion. The Monet Reception Hall, the largest banquet space, is bright and airy, with polished terrazzo floors and chic architectural features. The Lobby is the second largest function room, with a capacity for 48 seated guests and 309 standing, making it perfect for cocktail receptions. You can host intimate gatherings in the Pissarro Boardroom or any of their four elegant conference rooms inspired by the artists Signac, Cassatt, Degas, and Matisse. Whichever option you choose, you can enjoy a unique and meaningful ceremony followed by an unforgettable evening of dining, music, and dancing. Marshalltown Arts & Civic Center has a brand-new commercial-grade catering kitchen where one of their trusted culinary vendors can prepare your celebratory meal. Each of these catering companies will spoil you for choice, with menus offering everything from hors d’oeuvres to sit-down multi-course dining. Additional amenities include a portable bar and keg coolers for keeping refreshed and audio/visual equipment for a premier entertainment experience.
