Historical Ranch with Sweeping Mountain Views

Five acres of beautiful wedding venue situated on a corner lot with clear views of the landmarks in the Matanuska valley, Matanuska Mountain Range and Pioneer Peak of Chugach Mountains. Matanuska Mountain Views Ranch is a beautiful ranch on the outskirts of Palmer. The picturesque red barn, built in 1948, is the epitome of all things rustic yet elegant. Complete with a hayfield set up for your ceremony, we can host you from the beginning to the end of your big day. Our wedding venue offers an outdoorsy setting with spruce slab benches that can seat a maximum of 100 guests and a wooden arch. The setting is background with unobstructed majestic Matanuska Mountain Range and our iconic barn and boasting Pioneer Peak view on the west side. Our Banquet Hall is 4,000sf and accommodates a maximum of 155 guests with a centralized dancing area or more than 200. Consult with us for a more customized layout accommodation. The beverage bar window is conveniently situated on the west end of hall and the buffet or catered food service is located adjacent to the bar. Stage platform is available for the Groom and Bride party. Many layouts are available to cater for your event needs. Make sure to ask for the pdf of our architectural layouts. We are here to deliver best suited banquet hall layout for your wedding reception, Christmas parties, bazaars, birthdays, themed parties, wedding anniversaries, family events, fund raisings, VIP events, etc. Our Banquet Hall is also equipped with sound systems and a large control board. In the meantime, you are welcome to bring your DJ with your favorite music. Perfect for smaller events and elopement is our tent set up outdoors. It is 20x40’ and can accommodate up to 90 guests. Our bathhouse contains 3 bathrooms and 1 handicap accessible bathroom. Our Honeymoon Suite is a furnished one bedroom with walk in closet and living room. Next room is our swimming pool and hot tub room. Our hot tub seats 4 people and the swimming pool is 4’ throughout. Please pay attention to our posted instructions regarding safety. Located in front of our Banquet Hall is the firepit lounge. Perfect to gather family and friends and enjoy the warmth and ambiance of our Alaskan outdoors. Firewood is provided for your convenience.
