The Maui Pineapple Chapel began its life as a church. During its more than seven-decade long history it has seen many changes including the addition of Hawaii’s first golf course to its grounds in 1975. The property is now currently owned by the Kapalua Land Company who welcomes couples to add their own chapter to its history. A bright and welcoming atmosphere awaits couples at Maui Pineapple Chapel. Its minimal décor amplifies the natural light which floods its spacious interior, with tasteful white walls and warm wooden floors and ceiling. On the grounds, there is a striking feeling of openness and possibility as perfectly manicured lawns drop off into the expanse of the blue horizon. Maui Pineapple Chapel complements its picturesque scenery with modern amenities and a choice of venue spaces. The chapel is an adaptable venue and can be used for so much more than just a ceremony. It’s banquet hall-style layout means it is ideal for a lively reception or event rehearsal. For couples who would prefer a larger celebration, a tent can be erected outside on the Makai Lawn for up to 500 loved ones. The management can also help organize a ceremony on the nearby Ironwoods beach. Those exchanging vows can do so with the ocean’s salty breeze gently blowing, as the crystal-clear waters of the Pacific gently lap against the shoreline. There are also elegant get-ready spaces in the chapel, available to make sure everyone is looking their best for a spectacular photoshoot against the coast. The management is here to assist couples throughout their wedding experience, and welcome outside planners for parties over 50 guests. We knew the second we saw photos of The Maui Pineapple Chapel online, that it was the perfect place for us to get married! We booked this venue via a wedding planner and our planner had nothing but lovely things to say about the staff at the Chapel that she communicated with. Maui Pineapple Chapel is just as gorgeous in person as it is in the photos and it was truly the perfect space to have our wedding. They have this gorgeous bridal suite that was the perfect space to hide myself away from the groom and the rest of our guests while we got ready. Everything was spotlessly clean and the entire space was bright, open, and just lovely. The outdoor space was meticulously kept and everything looked perfect for our ceremony. We got married under a gorgeous tree overlooking the beach. Our reception was indoors and was the perfect size for our 35 guest wedding. There was plenty of space for the dining room tables, a big bar, and a good sized dance floor. The staff was absolutely wonderful and we could not imagine a better place to get married. Mahalo to The Maui Pineapple Chapel for giving us a space to make such cherished memories!

We fell in the love with this venue as soon as we stepped foot on the property!! It was the perfect place to get married. We use the lower lawn, upper lawn, and inside the chapel for our special day. The AC in the chapel was great and the bridal suite is beautiful!!! All of our vendors loved the venue and everything went smoothly. We highly recommend Maui Pineapple Chapel

Our entire experience at The Steeple House from start to finish was amazing. The location and setting is absolutely stunning. We had our wedding ceremony here in the outdoor area and it was everything I pictured and more. The inside space is lovely too, the bridal room is a perfect place to get ready in, take pictures in and hide from your groom until you’re ready to walk down the aisle. It also has air conditioning which is a huge plus. Kerri was wonderful to work with and super accommodating. Really couldn’t be happier we chose the steeple house for our big day. It was magical.

We were able to book the Steeple House to accommodate a number of wedding weekend activities, from a beautiful, catered Rehearsal Dinner, to a tented Welcome Party on the lower lawn, and including bridal preparation for the bride and her bridesmaids and even a late-night wedding reception After Party. The staff is a joy to work with, with prompt responses to questions and excellent follow-through. The space itself, a former Hawaiian plantation-style church, has been repurposed with great attention to detail, featuring hardwood floors, an excellent ceiling-embedded sound system, modern bathrooms with antique dry sinks, a functional catering kitchen, and a bridal prep room. Really, a wonderful venue.

Aloha!! Neila and I still can't get over what a wonderful experience it was to renew our vows at Steeple House. The venue, music by Marvin, attention to detail by Laurie, loving words and vows from Brother Al and beautiful photos taken by Cassie made it PERFECT. The weather was beautiful also that evening. In many ways this ceremony was more meaningful to us than our original wedding because this wedding was backed up by 30 years of marriage and all of the ups and downs that occur in 30 years of marriage and when raising 4 children. Thanks again for all of your assistance and your patience with my numerous phone calls, emails and questions. We think about our experience every day. My wedding turned out better than I could of dreamed. Two weeks before my wedding our original venue decided to change our contract and so we scrambled to find another location. I started to contact every single venue on island and got in contact with Denise (from The Loft) who then gave me Kerri’s information. From then on everything was falling into place. We were so lucky to have found this beautiful place in a short amount of time. It took us less than 24 hours to decide this was our venue and I signed the contract. Kerri and the owners of The Steeple House made our transition from our venue really easy. Within a week our vendors were all informed, did a walk through, and a rehearsal. This cute little chapel was gorgeous inside and out. One of the things I loved about it was being able to create the wedding I imagined. There’s so many possibilities. Everything from the lawn, to the chapel, and of course where I spent my whole day (the bridal suite) was decorated perfectly. This venue is romantic, rustic, and overall just perfect! All we could say is that everything happens for a reason especially because Kapalua is where we met. It was meant to be. Our friends and family had the best time. It was truly a dream wedding! Honestly there is not enough words to explain how grateful, happy, and excited for this venue. Thank you again to THE STEEPLE HOUSE team.

Kerri Glover (Director of Marketing) Kerri Glover has over twenty years of experience in weddings and special events. She recently sold the largest event planning company in Colorado, has build several wedding venues, and is happy to return to her Maui home to work with couples tying the knot! She holds her Bachelor's degree in Marketing from Santa Clara University and MBA from Regis University. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with her son, Benjamin and swing dancing with her husband Cole!
