McCrory Gardens Reviews
Kristen Drake(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-06-2019 I had a blast on my wedding day! I loved being in nature, around all the beautiful plants and flowers! Everything went so smooth. Reviewed on 31-08-2019
Tori Meshke(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-09-2017 We chose McCrory Garden's presidential garden for our ceremony location and we were not disappointed! The Gardens itself is absolutely stunning, and we received so many compliments on the scenery. Everything always looks so nice and beautiful. Cindy, the event coordinator at the Gardens was very pleasant to work with throughout the whole process and very flexible. They made sure that we always had everything we needed to make sure that our day went smoothly. The day of our wedding everyone made sure that there were no conflicts or worries and they took care of everything! I would highly recommend McCrory Gardens for your wedding ceremony and even reception. Even though we only used McCrory for the ceremony due to our numbers exceeding the space's maximum capacity, I know that if we would have had our reception there as well that we would be been just as pleased. Kayla Splettstoeszer(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-05-2015 The gardens & the building are beautiful! The food was delicious. The staff was super easy to work with and always made time to answers my questions. On the day of our wedding, the staff were so helpful but you didn't even notice they were there! All our guests loved it! Reviewed on 21-08-2015
Aubrey Berger(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-08-2014 While the location is absolutely beautiful, management would continuously call me at home with more changes we had to make to my wedding day. They told me that I could set up the day before the wedding, then a week before the big day told me that they were having their annual garden party and that I had to set up the day of. Then they kept calling me because they had scheduled another wedding on the same day and the other bride wanted to know everything about my schedule. I felt that they were pushing me aside to cater to her and I thought that since I booked the location way before the other bride, I should have been given preference. Overall, the location is beautiful, if a little overpriced, and you don't need flowers for the reception since the location is filled with them. Reviewed on 20-08-2014
Alisha Wilson(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-07-2013 There is not a more beautiful site to have a wedding reception in Brookings, SD. The staff is very easy to work with and are very organized. The only drawbacks I can think of associated with this location is that they do not serve hard alcohol and that they are only able to accommodate 220 people for dinner. The food was amazing! Seriously, the best wedding food I have ever had! Reviewed on 11-08-2013
