My husband and I had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at Meadow Brook Hall on July 1st, 2023, and it was nothing short of a fairy tale! Choosing this beautiful, timeless venue for our special day was one of the best decisions we could have made, and we cannot thank the staff enough for making our wedding truly magical. The entire process could not have been smoother and stress-free, from our initial interaction with event sales associate Christine Busch to our experience leading up to our wedding day with our event coordinator, Brooke Graber, to all of the other wonderful, hard-working staff at Meadow Brook that helped make our wedding rehearsal, ceremony, and reception a dream come true. Our guests raved about the delicious food and beverages served throughout the evening and loved the opportunity to tour the mansion during our cocktail hour. I cannot recommend Meadow Brook Hall enough. It exceeded our wildest expectations as a wedding venue – still in awe!

Our wedding planning experience went so smoothly thanks to Christine and Morgan. After our first consultation and tour with Christine, we knew that Meadow Brook Hall was special by the time we got back to our car. We were treated very well at our tasting and were introduced to Morgan, who took on our account from there. In spite of repeated assurances that they will handle everything and it is all under control, I was still skeptical. Nevertheless, my fears were unfounded and Morgan and her team truly delivered. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating, even with last second dinner changes. From early conversations and consultations, through rehearsal, set up, dinner (with dietary curveballs), and tear down. Everyone was courteous, professional and truly put us and our guests first. Morgan did such a great job - I would trust her with my life!

I can't say enough wonderful things about Meadow Brook. We had a wedding of under 80 guests and our wedding took place indoors in the Christopher Wren dining room and the downstairs ballroom. This was the first venue we had visited and we were so blown away by how beautiful it was that we ended up canceling our other site visits to sign the contract immediately. The staff has been incredible from the beginning as well - Morgan, our event coordinator, especially is a total rockstar! She was so responsive and checked in frequently throughout to make sure we had everything we needed. On the day of, from the rehearsal, to setup, and the ceremony/reception, she was always present to make sure everything was on schedule and going according to plan. She is a true professional! Our guests are still raving to us about how incredible the venue was. Many thanks to all the staff who made our dream wedding possible.

Where do I even begin? We had our wedding at Meadow Brook Hall in October 2023. Cheryl, Brooke and the entire team were absolutely amazing. From the initial meeting, to the tasting, to our wedding day and after their communication has been excellent. They have been so timely and responsive to any and all questions we had. The day of our wedding was perfect. The food and beverages were INCREDIBLE. We had guests at our wedding asking where they could have the food again! I am still dreaming of the hors d’oeuvres and craft cocktails…SO GOOD! The entire staff paid attention to every detail and it truly showed. The service was above and beyond. Meadow Brook Hall was better than our wildest dreams. We cannot thank you all enough!!!! BEST DAY EVER!

Meadow Brook Hall is the place to be if you’re looking for a BEAUTIFUL venue for your BIG day!! The views, the grounds, and staff are top tier!! We did our engagement photo shoot here on September 14, 2022, and tied the knot on October 1, 2023. Our guests are still talking about how great the food and staff were on our special day. Morgan was our AHH-MAZING MBH event coordinator for our BIG day. Morgan made sure our wedding started on time, guests were in place, and vendors had what they needed to execute. Our wedding felt like a fairytale, everything we wanted was executed to perfection. Book them NOW, you won’t be disappointed!!!

My husband and I couldn't be happier with our wedding at Meadow Brook Hall. Beautiful historic venue, fantastic food and drinks, and a great team of workers to make our day run smoothly. Christine Busch was our Event Sales Associate, and she was so great and helpful in the beginning stages of our process. Our event coordinator Morgan Pierce was amazing and she was so helpful and patient with us throughout the process of planning our wedding. Our guests were raving about the food and the opportunity to tour the mansion during cocktail hour. I truly had the wedding of my dreams at Meadow Brook Hall, and I can't thank Christine, Morgan, and the entire staff enough for giving us a beautiful and perfect wedding. It was everything and more!

Meadow Brook Hall was an absolute dream to work with! Due to planning and booking from out of state, I was originally concerned that the months leading up to the wedding would be stressful. Our planner Brooke made sure that she was available any weekend that we were in town, and offered so many accommodations to help us in any way she could. Not only is the venue stunning, the staff was EXCELLENT. From the serving staff, to the bartenders, and catering team, everyone was extremely helpful and truly made our day flow effortlessly. There is no doubt that choosing to host our wedding at Meadow Brook was the best choice we made!

The staff at Meadow Brook Hall went above and beyond to make our wedding day run smoothly. This is especially true of our coordinator, Morgan, who was easily reachable, attentive to every detail, and accommodating. I didn't have to worry or even think about a single detail the day of the wedding because of her hard work and ability to plan ahead/accommodate last minute changes. Additionally, all my guests commented on the excellent service of the catering staff (bartenders and servers). They were noted to be professional and efficient creating a perfect flow to our dinner service without award delays or pauses between courses. No detail was too small for this team. As the Bride and Groom, we were outside doing some last minute pictures at the time entrees were being served and the team thoughtful held our entrees in the kitchen until we returned to our seats. Not to mention the food was AMAZING, again noted by many of our guests. If you want a beautiful venue with top notch coordinators and day of staff this is the perfect place. Thank you Morgan and team!

We had a really great experience with Meadow Brook. Our wedding coordinator Morgan was wonderful and really organized. Things ran seamlessly at our reception. The food and drinks were amazing and everything looked beautiful. It is a historical venue, so there are restrictions. As long as you go in understanding that, you will have a smooth planning experience. Our main 'con' is that you have to take all of your decor home at the end of the night. The staff packs it all up, but make sure you have a vehicle to put everything in.

INCREDIBLE! My wedding at Meadow Brook Hall was the absolute wedding of my dreams. I literally look at the photos and swoon every single time. From our coordinator Brooke being so personable, attentive and kind, to the staff on the day of making sure EVERYTHING was to our liking, to the venue itself...everything was PERFECTION. If I could experience our day at MBH all over again, I absolutely would. 10/10 service; 10/10 food; 10/10 staff; 100000/10 grounds. I am blown away!

What I would tell anybody about planning a wedding, is that your vendors truly make your day. Booking Meadow Brook Hall as our venue, was truly one of the greatest decisions I could have made. From the kindness and professionalism of the staff, to the beautiful gardens and absolutely delicious food, Meadow Brook made all of our wedding dreams come true. Meadow Brook Hall was the absolute perfect location for our dream wedding! We worked with Cheryl when we first toured and booked with Meadow Brook and then Brooke was our event coordinator leading up to and the day of the wedding. Both women were absolutely wonderful to work with! They were super responsive and made sure we were all on the same page for the day to go perfectly. The food was delicious and they had a ton of great options for us to choose from. We didn't choose to have cocktail hour indoors until the night before the wedding, but that was zero issue and they accommodated everything we wanted. During the reception, there was one small hiccup and Brooke handled it immediately. It was truly a dream and I wouldn't have changed anything about it.

Your wedding day is supposed to be the best day of your life, but in our case, it was almost the opposite. We’ll start with the good things: the look of the venue and food. Everything else was a disaster. The venue is beautiful, either outside or inside and the food was delicious. The whole planning process was awful. We’ve read a lot of good reviews about Brooke and we asked for her when we booked the venue, but we ended up with Morgan. We understand she was new at the time, but nobody from Meadow Brook Hall (MBH) seemed to care enough to step in and help her and make sure that we had a successful, memorable wedding.Firstly, we didn’t get what we paid for, MBH even acknowledged this in an email, and yet they didn’t care or do anything about it. For example, we bought an additional hour of time for our reception, but the staff removed our decorations within minutes of dinner ending which led our guests to start leaving, thinking our event was over. Almost everyone was gone within an hour after dinner.Next, if you expect to have your calls returned, good luck. When we saw how poorly the planning process was going, we called regarding the concerns we had. We called over and over, left voicemails and emails, and even asked the receptionist to ask the staff to call us back. We were told everyone was in a meeting. Even as of now, they’ve never returned our calls to address our concerns.If you expect clarity, good luck. You’ll find out important information AFTER you’ve had to make your decision and past the deadline and all by chance. Moreover, some information is not mentioned in the contract or anywhere else, so there was no way to know about it or know to ask about it.If you expect any flexibility, good luck. You’ll be notified about things less than 1 week prior the due date, your coordinator will disappear, and you’ll miss the date (many of ours were on Sundays). You’ll have to make decisions without getting any answers and on the following Monday, when you MIGHT get answers and find out that some things are different than expected, they will tell you that you’re past the due date and you cannot change anything. Even if it’s only 1 day past the due date and you couldn’t get a hold of anyone.If you expect to have a coordinator to help you, good luck. It made it more complicated. There were so many back-and-forth emails without any purpose and planning calls where the coordinator had no information for us and where she completely forgot about any questions we asked. We had to remind her over and over, making us miss due dates where we then couldn’t get what we had been asking for for so long. Also, our floor plan was wrong several times, despite us correcting it for the coordinator every single time. Even our external vendors spotted the mistakes and luckily asked us for clarification, otherwise it would have cost us a lot in extra fees. We even had to run our own ceremony rehearsal, the coordinator just stood there.The list could go on and on. As we said, the venue and food were great, but the whole planning process and our wedding day were awful. MBH got a lot of good reviews in 2019 and 2020, which is one of the reasons we picked them, but only a few in 2021-2022. It seems like they are riding the wave of old reviews and not many people recently think their service is good enough to bother leaving a review.

We had a WONDERFUL experience working with Meadow Brook Hall for our wedding celebration. Our coordinator Brooke was responsive and attentive to detail, and we want to express thanks to the whole MBH team for how seamlessly they incorporated our ideas and worked with vendors. The grounds are stunning, and when it ended up raining on our wedding day, the MBH team was able to switch us to an indoor ceremony space with no interruption to the guest experience or flow of the day. As a same-sex couple, we felt comfortable and happy throughout the process. We are still getting compliments about the food, cocktail bar, and beautiful space!

Meadow Brook Hall was absolutely amazing as a venue. We went with them for a couple reasons. 1) Their minimum food & beverage spend was very reasonable and much lower than a lot of other venues we looked at. 2) The house/grounds/tent are insanely beautiful. Seriously, there is not a prettier venue. 3) The tent that you get to use for your wedding is air conditioned (our wedding was in August, and my husband and I both run very warm, so this was a HUGE plus for us). 4) You are the only event on your wedding day (we hated that at other venues there could be multiple weddings going on at a time). On top of all that, they provide you a lot of things on site that other venues make you bring in, such as tables, plates, silverware, catering, etc. We brought in our own chairs and linens just because we didn't love the look of the chairs that MBH provides. Beyond that, MBH is so so easy to work with. They will work with you to make whatever you want come true. You have an on-site coordinator who you communicate with the entire time (ours was Brooke), and she did an amazing job of being available to answer questions, make recommendations, etc. The absolute bonus is that their food (which they provide) is legitimately AMAZING. Wedding food is usually pretty meh, but I can't tell you how many guests came up to me in the days/weeks after our wedding saying how they couldn't get over how good the food was. MBH was such an incredible venue and will now always hold a special place in our hearts.

A dream location for a beautiful wedding! Through covid there were MANY date changes and a few coordinators…but the staff at Meadowbrook made it work and made it perfect! We wanted an indoor wedding but due to covid had to have it in the tent. It was not what we originally envisioned but it was still gorgeous! The guests got to tour during cocktail hour, the food was AMAZING and every single person walked away feeling like they’d been at a Royal wedding (as did we)! We plan on going back for a tour soon! Thank you to everyone who helped our day FINALLY become a reality!!! Stephanie, Cheryl and Karleen…thank you all!!!

Alexis was our main contact and she was amazing to work with! She great with handling all of the vendor coordination. We had to change our original date and they were very accommodating for the new date and working with us when we had fewer guests rsvp than expected due to Covid. They were great with setting up yard games (theirs and our own) for guests since the dance floor had Covid restrictions. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, there were loads of compliments from guests. They also worked with us to have a family antique car driven on to the front lawn for photos, which turned out beautifully.

We booked Meadow brook for our ceremony February 13, 2021. Obviously planning a wedding in 2020 was a bumpy ride due to COVID-19 and all of the state restrictions that came with it. We were fortunate enough to work with Cheryl, who made our wedding day more than what we could ever imagined. Leading up to the wedding sheWas responsive to each question and concern I had throughout the process. She was watching the news waiting for updated guidelines more intently than I was! Last minute the University advised that Meadow brook needed to move our wedding from indoors to outside... in the middle of February and in 15 degree temps. Because in Michigan dining with strictly outside, finding a tent rental and heaters was nearly impossible and having to do it in less than 48 hours made the challenge much more difficult. However, overnight Cheryl was able to acquire a large tent and seven heaters to accommodate our 20 person ceremony. From the moment she told me we were bumped outside to the moment I showed up for our wedding rehearsal she and the Meadow brook staff had transformed the main entry into a beautiful wedding venue. She was accommodating and caring. Despite all the bumps in the road she bent over backwards for us and we will forever be thankful to her for that. If you were looking for a venue that will go above and beyond and do anything to make your day special, this is it.

As a corona bride, we had more stress and anxiety about the wedding planning process than I ever thought possible. But our wedding coordinator Stephanie was absolutely fantastic, and was there to support us every step of the way! She always went the extra mile to make sure we had all of the information we needed/wanted, and was very prompt in returning our emails and phone calls. She made sure the day went smoothly, and that we were well taken care of throughout the day. Our guests raved about how good the food was, and how beautiful the estate and grounds were. The reception tent itself is gorgeous, and was the perfect setting for our summer wedding. I'm so thankful that we chose Meadow Brook Hall as our venue - I can't imagine our day anywhere else!

My husband and I got married on September 18th, 2020 (Originally was supposed to be June 6th)... as you can imagine, being a COVID bride is extremely stressful. Even with everything going on with COVID, Alexis, our coordinator, did everything in her power to make our experience as enjoyable and as stress-free as possible... and she was INCREDIBLE. No matter what our questions or concerns were she got back to us in record time (and that means everything while planning a wedding). The overall experience of getting married at meadowbrook was better than we could have ever asked for!The night of the event went very very smoothly... I’m still to this day getting compliments that this was the best food at a wedding they’ve ever had. Not to mention the service was incredible. The staff was all extremely nice and helpful.We can’t thank the staff at Meadowbrook and our vendors enough for making our day so special!

We had our daughter’s wedding and 3 years later, her baby shower at Meadow Brook Hall. We were thrilled with the outcome of both events. The staff, and especially our coordinator Alexis, was great to work with. She goes above and beyond to make sure that your event is successful. The venue is so beautiful and you and your guests are able to take advantage of using the mansion and all the beautiful grounds.And the food is pretty fabulous too!If you are looking for a unique and lovely setting for your event, Meadow Brook Hall is the right choice.

First off, this venue is GORGEOUS! Secondly, thank you, Stephanie for helping make our wedding amazing. Yes, the venue is as beautiful as the pictures. We had our wedding during the winter to ensure our guests could experience the estate. From planning to execution, this place knows their stuff. Staff is helpful and really kept us at ease to get all the arranging done flawlessly. My only issue would be the bar package. It is expensive, as with most things wedding related at a beautiful venue, but the available options of mixers were limiting and quality of our signature cocktail left many guests wondering if there was any of that expensive alcohol in it. Our drink was supposed to be red, and all the versions I saw and drank were orange because of the copious amounts of orange juice used. Overall amazing staff and venue, would highly recommend to anyone who was interested. (Maybe just stick with wine over the other options that could be diluted.)

Our wedding day was beautiful and we were overall happy with our selection of Meadow Brook Hall as our venue. The serving staff was very attentive and we received compliments on how on top of things they were. We thought the food was delicious and the serving sizes were enough to keep us and our guests full and happy (also, highly recommend the sliders for late night nosh!). The cocktail hour was spread beautifully across the back lawn of the mansion and was one of our favorite parts of the day.While there were many things we loved, there were a few areas that I thought could have been better. There were small details for the reception that were not setup the way I envisioned. We had a thank you card to be placed on an acrylic stand for each table but instead they were laid flat on the table and barely visible. I provided enough acrylic stands for this but they were not used. I had round menus for each place setting that I wanted to be placed underneath the glass charger but instead they were placed on top of the charger. I intended to go over these details at the rehearsal, which is when I dropped off the boxes containing these items, but my coordinator made me feel rushed and wasn’t giving me the time or attention to explain the contents and give directions. Granted, I was running behind schedule, so I think that is why the time wasn’t spent with me to go over this and I realize these are little things, but I don’t think this should have been overlooked. Not for a venue that touts their exceptional service and attention to detail.While Meadow Brook is most definitely a beautiful venue, don’t expect to get as much for your money as you would at other venues. Many venues will be willing to “throw in” something small here or there as a kind gesture and is often customary in doing business, but that is not the case with this venue. We asked for maybe one upgraded item to be thrown in and were told no. Expect to get everything as contracted with no extras. Again, beautiful venue but there were areas that didn’t meet our expectations.

We got married in July 2020 and it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The wedding coordinating staff at Meadowbrook Hall are the best in the business. They held our potential date multiple times so that we could continue searching without needing a down payment to lock it in. The taste testing prior to our event was above and beyond and helped us feel really confident about our meal choices for our wedding. Alexis, our day-of event coordinator, is phenomenal at her job and made sure no detail was overlooked and every concern or question was taken care of. She made everything so much easier, which is really saying something given that we were hosting our wedding in a pandemic. Although given the option to postpone, we did not want to push back our celebration, and even though we had to downsize our guest count, Meadowbrook did everything they needed to in order to follow the state health guidelines, while not sacrificing the romance, beauty, and celebration of our dream wedding. Their garden tent is also so gorgeous, and satisfies an outdoor feel without losing any elegance or charm. I chose Meadowbrook over other more DIY venues because I did not want to be my own coordinator or spend extra money in our budget on top of the cost of making a bare-bones venue look the way I wanted it to. Meadowbrook was a dream come true to have my wedding at and I would recommend it to anyone and everyone.

5 stars is not enough to give this venue. My husband and I planned on having a November 2020 wedding, but due to covid we decided to cancel and do something this summer. The end of May we reached out to Meadow Brook is hopes to be able to make a small, outdoor ceremony work. They were beyond helpful and accommodating! We ended up getting married on July 5! Our pictures turned out amazing, and we were so happy with everything. For only having a ceremony with them, it was amazing. The staff is excellent and so nice to work with! Caitlin was beyond amazing in working with us with such a short time frame! We are so happy we chose Meadow Brook! There’s no way our original November 2020 wedding would have topped what we did! Do not get married anywhere else!

We knew we wanted our wedding at Meadow Brook as soon as we arrived for a tour and could not be happier with that decision. The venue is stunning and our wedding was picture perfect, even better than we could have imagined. The food was also great and we received so many complements on dinner from our guests.Aside from the beauty of the venue, the staff was a major highlight. We worked with both Alexis and Caitlin and they were both amazing to work with, especially through the challenging process of postponing our wedding. On the day of the wedding, Caitlin went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly. She was truly amazing.

History and Elegance of the Mansion made the celebration even more exciting and fun......dancing down the red stair case to a Motown music classic was a wow moment along with so many that day. The venue is breath taking. Not one bad place to take a picture. Love that guest are able to tour mansion during cocktail hour. Gives you guest something to do rather than just normal wedding activities. It also helps that the mansion gives you a preferred vendors list of vendors that they have worked with in the past. This is how we found all the amazing vendors that made our wedding breath taking. You can use your own vendors, but i would highly recommend the ones that mansions gives you. They handle everything for you on the day of. They give you a wedding planner (we had alexis and she was unbelievable) and it made the day off so much less stressful for me. They work with the vendors for logistics and layout. They are organized and will work with you on any special request, but since it is a preserved museum it does make a few things difficult, such as no pictures in some areas and no hairspray in the get ready rooms (nothing major!). The food is out of this world. There was not one bad thing on their menu and they even will let you give you vendors a special meal. We got so many complements that this was the best wedding that anyone had ever been to. As much as i would like to take credit for that, it really came down to meadow brook mansion and their staff. It is worth the money, but you can do it on the budget! Make your big day a day you will never forget. I could never thank the meadow brook team for all they did for us.

The chef is SO nice and the food was AMAZING, the staff that greeted, served and helped our guests the whole night were incredible. I would highly recommend to anyone, that MB is one of the best venues for your wedding reception. Also, when they say you do not need a wedding planner, listen! The best choice that I made surrounding my wedding was choosing Meadow Brook Hall as my venue. It was the only venue that I went to look at and I knew immediately that it was perfect. It is absolutely stunning. I have even had multiple guests tell me that it was the \"best wedding that they had ever been to\" simply because of the venue alone! We had our ceremony in the garden and our reception in the Garden Tent which is absolutely gorgeous. The white backdrop made for BEAUTIFUL pictures. During dinner, they opened the sides of the tent and there were even deer in the backdrop of the photos for our speeches - it was truly a fairytale. I worked with Alexis as my wedding coordinator (assigned by Meadow Brook) and she was a dream to work with. She was down to earth, extremely prompt in answering emails (and there were A LOT), and you could tell that she truly loved her job. The the food... PHENOMENAL. They invite all of the couples getting married that year to a tasting over the Winter so you can try out the meal of your choice. The portions were substantial, the presentation was elegant (the salad was wrapped in a cucumber and the cake had a drizzle and flower on the plate!), and the service was top-notch. I truly cannot say enough good things about this venue. My husband and I will be visiting here for years to come because we love it so much. Thank you so much Meadow Brook and Alexis for helping make our day unforgettable ❤️

We had hands down the BEST wedding experience at Meadow Brook Hall. As a bride, I cannot say enough great things about the venue, staff and most of all my coordinator Alexis. All of our guests were blown away by the stunning venue and how professional the staff was. Alexis made the entire planning process completely seamless for my husband and I, we will be forever grateful for her. On our wedding day, we ended up having a few last minute changes due to weather but it was handled with ease - Alexis and the MB staff were truly the dream team. Our experience with Alexis and Meadow Brook Hall was incredible. From start to finish, Alexis was so helpful getting everything straightened out and together and keeping track of our vendors. The day of went so smoothly, all thanks to her and the rest of the staff at Meadow Brook. Despite scattered thunder storms and almost having to evacuate the tent as dinner was being served (not joking!), Alexis made sure everything was handled and let us enjoy our night as much as possible. The grounds at Meadow Brook are absolutely beautiful and so well kept and manicured. The food is also incredible. I’ve been to many weddings where the food was adequate at best, but all night our guests kept coming up to us commenting on how good the food was, from the salad to dessert. Thank you again for everything you’ve done to keep our wedding day as special and worry free as it could be.

Meadow Brook Hall is everything you could possibly want in a wedding venue - reception and ceremony at the same place, great food, great alcohol options, tours of the home during cocktail hour, and a day-of coordinator is included to help make the day more relaxing for the bride and groom. Our coordinator, Alexis Duda, was SO responsive and helpful during the entire planning process. I have a pretty controlling personality and knew exactly how I wanted everything to be, and Alexis executed everything EXACTLY how I imagined it. It's been 2 months and I'm still having people reach out to me about how amazing the food was, how beautifully kept the grounds were, and how cool it was for guests to be able to tour the house. I know I wouldn't have had as perfect of a wedding if it were anywhere else.

Meadow Brook Hall was the perfect place for our wedding. My husband and I live out of state, so this was a destination wedding for us. Communication was key, and our wedding coordinator, Alexis, was fantastic. She was incredibly helpful, offering her opinion on things when we asked, and was very responsive throughout the whole process. We were supposed to have our ceremony outside, but it had rained earlier in the day, which would have made for a soggy walk down the aisle, ha ha. The staff had everything setup and ready to go for an indoor ceremony and it went perfectly. Taking pictures with a bridal party consisting of 18 people is no easy feat, but Alexis kept everyone moving and on schedule before we headed into the reception, which we greatly appreciated. The venue is stunning (both inside and out), the staff is wonderful and the food was amazing - everyone raved about it. We highly recommend Meadow Brook Hall and Alexis! THANK YOU for our dream wedding :)

Meadow Brook Hall is a National Historic Landmark, built in 1929 by the Dodge Wilson family. It is preserved to this day as a museum by the Oakland University. The weddings conducted at this beautiful mansion constitute one the main resources to maintain the property.We visited around 8-9 wedding venues in the metro Detroit area and picked Meadow Brook, because it offers unique royal ambience enriched with history. It also offers exclusive use that means there would not be any other wedding or event during your wedding. Finally, it has in-house four star catering services and both ceremony and reception can be held at the venue.After the initial booking, as we neared the wedding season, we were Stephanie as our wedding day coordinator. She further strengthened our view that we made the right choice in picking Meadow Brook as our wedding venue. We picked most of our other vendors from their preferred vendors list. She reached out to them and arranged the logistics of their arrival, set-up and pickup. She was very attentive, patient and went above and beyond in answering all our queries. We could not happier with all the work, she did for us.There is only one downside of Meadow Brook. Since it is an old property, there is no air-conditioning there except the dining hall. Hence, the months of October – April are ideal for indoor reception. For the months of May-September, you may use the tent outside and get it air-conditioned on a short notice if a warm weather is in forecast. However, a tent does not offer the same ambience as the mansion.

This venue has been my dream wedding venue since the moment I first saw it. I knew that it would be an amazing wedding day, but I didn’t know exactly how amazing their staff was truly going to be. From the very beginning, working with Laurie, to working hand in hand with Stephanie through the entire process it was SO EASY. They made sure every single detail was covered, reminded me of deadlines, and coordinated the day of seamlessly so that I didn’t have to. When it came to the wedding day, I didn’t have to worry about a single thing and when J showed up and saw the decor I was in tears. They made my dream come to life even better than I could have planned. This was truly the wedding of a lifetime for me and my friends, and they are STILL in awe of the venue and FOOD!!! If I could do it again a 1000 more times, I wouldn’t change a single thing.

She went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly, that we were happy, and constantly kept in contact with us to make sure we had everything in place before the big day. Meadow Brook was a stunning place to have our wedding. We received so many compliments about the uniqueness of the wedding venue. The rock garden was gorgeous, despite the drizzle that we had. Guests LOVED being able to tour the house during cocktail hour. The groom's family are Muslim and don't drink, so it was awesome to have an activity during that time. The food for cocktail hour and dinner was AMAZING. I heard so many people say that it was the best wedding food that they had ever had! Stephanie was our coordinator and did an amazing job keeping us on track with the details of planning the wedding. The day of the event, she was on site and helped everything run super smoothly.

They were able to move 150 people from the outdoor Gardens to the Ballroom so efficiently when the rainstorm decided to hit as the Bride was about to walk down the aisle.This Mansion is the grandest place to hold a Wedding. We tried to channel a vintage garden party that would have happened at the turn of the century. Whether inside or in the gardens, everything was so beautiful. Where do I begin about all of the amazing things I have to say about Meadow Brook & the incredible team there?? From day one, Lori was so on top of communication and answered all of my questions so thoroughly. Alexis came into the picture after booking our date and she is seriously a dream come true to work with. I am very type-A, particular & had a very specific vision in mind. Alexis helped us execute this seamlessly. She was just like Lori in terms of urgency and efficiency when planning our reception. I had a bit of added stress as I was planning my wedding from out of state so I couldn't just pop in and meet with her whenever or see the space in person. She assured us that she constantly works with out-of-state brides and grooms and she definitely proved her point. She was SO on top of everything...things I didn't even think of because I was consumed with other tasks. She put me at ease and we gained such trust in her with our big day. In fact - we still keep in touch with her to this day as we developed such a great relationship with her over the months. It's hard for me to even put into words how fabulous our experience was working with everyone at Meadow Brook!! I can't leave out our amazing menu tasting hosted by the Executive Chef himself. He came out and explained each dish, the ingredients, the whole nine! The staff was SO attentive during our reception - from the waiters to the bar tenders and everyone in between. We received countless compliments on how superior the service was. Of course as a wedding guest - you really observe the line for the bar, the food, and venue and all we heard was praise after our big day. You cannot go wrong with Meadow Brook! The setting is so picture perfect and romantic, the food is incredible and the staff is simply the best!

We got married in the Rock Garden with the reception in the tent and it was beautiful. Deer were playing in the field for the better part of the night. The venue speaks for itself - gorgeous. The food was delicious. Every guest has told us it was the best wedding that they have been to.

Meadow Brook Hall was the perfect place for our wedding ceremony. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. We did not bring a single thing to decorate because the garden was perfect on its own. Our coordinator, Alexis, was able to help us plan the perfect ceremony. Our planning booklet was very straightforward to keep the day of on track. Alexis was extremely helpful the week of the wedding. She reached out to all of our vendors attending the ceremony to make sure they were ready. At the ceremony, she was there to help us and the bridal party with whatever we needed. We cannot thank Meadow Brook Hall and Alexis enough!

Meadow Brook made all of our wedding dreams come true! It was worth every penny! From the first moment we toured the venue, to the wedding day, the entire staff was a dream to work with. They are professional and dedicated to their work. A few things set Meadow Brook apart from other wedding venues that we toured. I loved that we were the only wedding there on that day. I didn't have to worry about running into another bride and groom or wedding party. The food is FANTASTIC. From the passed appetizers, to the plated dinner, the food tastes as good as it looks. All of our guests were extremely happy with the food. Meadow Brook is so much more than a \"typical\" wedding venue. Docents are available during cocktail hour for your guests to take tours throughout the mansion. This was a favorite moment for many of our guests. Even though a lot of them live in the area, many had never toured the historic mansion before and loved having the opportunity to do so. Our wedding day coordinator, was SO much more than that. She started meeting with us about 6 months before our wedding day and covered every detail, even details I had not thought of before. Alexis answered my multiple weekly emails quickly and professionally. She even emailed me back when I was having a seating chart dilemma while she was on vacation! Meadow Brook allowed us to come visit the venue whenever we wanted to, to do walk-throughs, gather inspiration or answer our questions. The way that they do the tasting is also unique and I very much enjoyed it. They have one evening in the winter where they gather all of the couples getting married that year in order to test many of their most popular food options. It was great to meet other couples and hear about how their planning was going. My father and his friends enjoyed the craft beer speciality package that can be added on to the normal bar services. Meadow Brook also packaged all of our gifts and personal belongings at the end of the night which was wonderful to not have to worry about. Meadow Brook is a truly one of a kind venue, where you experience exceptional service throughout the entire wedding planning process. We had the wedding of our dreams, and have the staff of Meadow Brook to thank for that!

From the very beginning, staff has been so helpful in helping us plan the wedding of our dreams. Alexis was our wedding coordinator and was so kind to us! She was always very easy to get in contact with and was a pleasure to work with before the wedding, at the rehearsal, and on the wedding day. Rain was expected (and there is a beautiful ballroom for rain backup) but the rain stopped in time, chairs were dry for our guests, and we had the wedding of our dreams. I'm not sure what I can say that hasn't already been said, but I was so blown away by the level of service and attention to detail throughout my wedding planning process and on my wedding day, that I felt I absolutely had to leave a review. When I began looking for wedding venues, I knew I wanted the service and class of an upscale banquet hall, but the feel of a romantic and whimsical outdoor wedding. Meadow Brook was absolutely all of this and more. My Fiance and I instantly fell in love with the beautiful European style historic mansion and sprawling gardens and grounds. To add to that appeal, Meadow Brook is staffed with event coordinators that get in touch with you about 4 months prior to your wedding and ensure that everything is coordinated with your vendors, that you are checking all your boxes as a bride, and that the foundation is laid for a wonderful wedding day. I cannot say enough about how incredibly thankful I was for this aspect at every step of wedding planning. I am a high school teacher and have so much to manage and coordinate day in and day out; I would not have been able to get through this wedding the same way with out Alexis, our coordinator. Whenever I started to feel stressed or unsure of what I was supposed to be doing, I could call and email her and she would get right back to me. I felt so much calmer and assured that everything would turn out great with her there to send me reminders and answer my questions. When it came to my vendors, I basically had to choose the things that I wanted, and Alexis coordinated pretty much everything else with them. When the day of my wedding came, there was not a single hiccup the whole entire day. It went so smoothly I could almost cry thinking about it. Not only was the planning on their part perfect, the level of service that our guests received was a highlight of the evening. I have heard multiple stories from my guests of ways in which Meadow Brook went above and beyond to ensure that every aunt, uncle, and friend of the family felt valued and taken care of throughout the day. From sending managers to check individually on each guest with a food allergy, to stopping my guests on their way out during dinner to let them know that they would wrap their desserts for them and meet them at valet, to overhearing a conversation about how one guest didn't know if she could eat a \"peppered\" filet and getting her a fresh, unseasoned one... I am just amazed at the service and attention to detail. They took care of so many details I would never have thought of, made sure everything went smoothly, and made sure I was not encumbered with a single task on my wedding day. I simply got to show up and enjoy the evening with all my friends and family with not a single worry on my mind. And on top of all of this, it was BEAUTIFUL. My guests have not stopped raving about what an absolute fairy tale wedding it was. The beautifully manicured gardens, the expertly maintained mansion, the billowing canopy of the garden tent... from top to bottom the most beautiful and flawless wedding I could have possibly hoped for. I cannot recommend this venue enough... and I really want to attend a wedding there now, so if you book them, be sure to invite me!!

We were so fortunate to have had our wedding at Meadow Brook Hall. It honestly is what made our wedding so perfect. Our guests absolutely loved the venue, we have heard nothing but compliments. Alexis, the wedding coordinator, was absolutely wonderful to work with. She helped us tremendously in terms of planning and thinking of little things that would have been forgotten otherwise. The food, the servers, the bartenders, security, everyone was just absolutely wonderful and allowed us to have a wedding better than any fairytale we could have dreamed of !

It was my dream to have my wedding at Meadow Brook since I was very young, and it came true on March 25, 2017! Not only is it a beautiful venue, but Karen, our wedding coordinator, made it so much easier and stress-free by being responsive leading up to the wedding and very organized. All our guests could not stop talking about the food, the free tours of the estate, and how friendly the staff was. The only thing is they don't allow you to take photos on the 2nd floor due to the historical items, but the rest of the house is gorgeous, it really ends up not mattering!

We could not have been more thrilled with the way our wedding day turned out. Being from England, Meadow Brook Hall was the closest I was going to get to a traditional English wedding. The grounds are beautiful and because of our small guest list (70 people) we were able to have the whole wedding inside. We were made to feel that the house was ours for the night. The staff were incredibly friendly and we are still getting compliments about the venue and how beautiful the wedding was.Alexis was our planner and was incredibly helpful in answering questions and just being there on the day. The entire process was seamless from start to finish. Meadow Brook will always be a special place for us and it's nice that with all the events they hold, we can go back and relive our wedding day whenever we want. Thanks to everyone who was involved in our wedding day. It was truly magical.

Meadow Brook Hall was the most amazing venue for our wedding! We had our ceremony and reception there and we couldn't have been happier. On our wedding day there were spotty rain showers but Tracy our event manager watched the radar and after a short delay of our ceremony the sun was back out, all the guests chairs were wiped off and our wedding continued with sunshine the rest of the day. After our ceremony was over the Bridal party has a quick private champagne toast which I really loved because you got to spend some time with the people who mean most to you before heading to the reception. Everyone raved about the food and cocktail hour! The tent was just gorgeous and was everything I had dreamed about! One thing is a definite must if you are having a summer wedding in the tent, Air Conditioning! We had AC and even with it the tent was pretty stuffy. Other than that everything was amazing, the food, the ambiance, the staff. They treat you like royalty and I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat. If you are looking to wow your guests this is the place!

We had our wedding this past December during the holidays. The room was beautiful, the food was outstanding, the service staff was great. Our guests, and we, were very happy on that day. The planning process - not so great. Beware the pricing. This venue charges an extra $1,o00 -above the room rental fee - for a wedding. No explanation given for services provided for this fee - though I requested this information several times. Also be aware that their linens are mid length - they do not go to the floor - this was not shared with me when we sat down to discuss the rental. Not sure why they bother offering them - you will have to rent linens. I felt like the \"management\" automatically says NO to any request - then there is negotiation - fussing - disconcerting when trying to plan a wedding. Example: The website clearly states that guests are allowed to tour the Hall during the event - but we were told no - my guests walked around anyways. FRUSTRATING .. Ask about everything before signing a contract - including timing to set up . We only had 2 hours before the event to set up - I had to hire someone to come in and assist - another unplanned $600. This was not shared with me at the contract meeting either. I did not have a planner - they probably would have known to check on these things - i felt like they took advantage of me. But it's pretty.

It’s a given that the grounds of Meadow Brook are breathtakingly beautiful, the food is amazing and the service is impeccable. (Seriously, we got compliments all night about what a fabulous venue we chose.) And those are all the reasons we decided it was the perfect venue for our wedding — we were looking for a place that wasn’t the standard hotel ballroom, was known for it’s service and attention to detail and would provide an amazing backdrop for photos. We got all of that, but what really made me pleased with our choice was the staff. Karen, our coordinator, left me feeling at ease from the get-go. At our meeting she was clearly so organized and professional that I could confidently hand over all of the vendor information knowing she would execute everything and I wouldn’t have to worry about a thing. The day of, she and her team completely rocked it. Beyond the standard set-up — everything looked perfect when I arrived — they tended to every little detail. Case in point: our florist forgot one of the bouquets and they fashioned one of out of some excess flowers! And when we finished our ceremony, waiters greeted us with champagne and congratulations. This is a venue you can book knowing they will go above and beyond to guarantee you have the best day of your life.

I can't say enough positive things about Meadow Broom Hall as a ceremony and reception wedding venue. The staff was helpful, professional, accommodating, and organized. I worked with Tracy and she was so calm and flexible with my wishes I truly felt like no question I asked was too little or too big. Our wedding day went off perfectly, and every little detail was just as I expected. The waitstaff, chefs, and bartenders were all so wonderful. The food was delicious and I received so many compliments from my guests about how great the wedding was in general. That is in large part due to the wonderful people at Meadow Brook Hall. I would recommend this venue to any one of my friends. Thank you Meadow Brook for making my dream day a reality.

Our wedding day was absolutely amazing and Meadow Brook Hall is 100% to blame! I am so in love with this venue and the staff here is so wonderful! I worked with Karen as my event coordinator and she went above and beyond for us! She even tastefully dealt with my mother in law screaming at her the day of about something she did not need to scream about. If my mother in law had screamed at me instead I likely would not have responded so well. This place is definitely worth every cent! The food is amazing too! I hope someone else I know soon will have a wedding here so I can go back!

Our wedding at Meadow Brook Hall on July 11, 2015 was like a fairy tale. The gorgeous mansion, lush garden and incredible outdoor tent served as the most beautiful landscape for our special day. I had so many people saying that it is the most gorgeous venue they have ever seen. Lori and Alexis were the most incredible people to work with. They went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was absolutely perfect, and worked with both my mom and I through multiple meetings, tons of emails, and hundreds of phone calls, all with he most incredible attitude that made us feel like we were the only people they were working with. I am partly sad that our wedding is over because I won't get to see them and talk to them so often- they became life family! The food was beyond delicious, and was one of the highlights that our guests talked about. \"Best wedding food they had ever had\". Everything from the venue to the staff was top notch, and I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a one of a kind venue that will amaze for their wedding day.

I cannot say enough about this amazing venue! My husband and I wanted someplace special, something different than the normal banquet place or golf club. This was the one and only place that we visited and we fell in love! Our wedding was held all indoors, but they are very popular for their giant garden tent. Everything was top notch, the food was amazing, the service couldn't have been better, and every complimented that this was the best wedding they had ever been to. Don't look any farther! This is truly a romantic and intimate place for your wedding. Amanda Powell was our wedding coordinator and she was a delight. I think I emailed her about 5-7 times a day and without fail, she responded to each and every one of them, and helped me throughout the entire process. This sounds really cheesy, but they really made me feel like a princess :)

If you want a classy wedding venue with lots of charm and warmth, this is the place for you. I am a mother of the bride and I can not say enough good things about this venue. The staff, the food,and the service are all top notch. They work with you and your other vendors to plan the perfect day. Depending on the time of year, you can choose an outdoor or indoor wedding. A tent is provided for outdoor receptions.My daughter's was indoors as it was at the end of October. We were reminded that you need extra lighting inside that should be taken care of by your photographer, video people, and florist. We had centerpieces with votives in the dining area and for the ballroom we had hurricane glasses of different heights for the tables. There is an elevator for use for the guests that need it. We also had a big bright light in the upper corner of the ballroom which helped to direct light onto the dance floor. We were able to use the grounds for pictures and video before the ceremony which was great. You will not be sorry if you select Meadow Brook Hall!

I cannot say enough about this amazing venue. The building and grounds speak for themselves. The grandeur of this place is breathtaking. As guests drive down the main entrance and across the bridge and into the front circle, they are greeted with a view that is truly breathtaking. What a way to impress!\r\rWhen you book this venue you are the exclusive wedding so your family and friends share the house and grounds with no other party. It has such an intimate feeling and is unique in this aspect. \r\rThe gardens provide an amazing backdrop for a wedding ceremony and cocktail hour if you are inclined to have an outdoor wedding. No decorations are needed because the grounds are impeccable. Also during the cocktail hour guests have an option to tour the Hall and learn a little about the history of the place.\r\rOur reception was held in the all-seasons tent and it was stunning. The quality of food and service was first class. Our wedding planners at Meadow Brook were the best. Thank you to Lauren and Jen for transferring our dream into reality. \r\rOur vendors were amazing. Bill Hamilton provided stunning florals, chargers, and design. Luxe Linens provided top quality linens, napkins, and chairs. Randy and Mike Staff Productions provided emcee services, sounds and entertainment that kept our guests on their feet and involved throughout the event. Our friends and family continue to rave about this wedding. \r\rI can't say enough good things about our experience. I would never consider another venue for a wedding because all else would pale in comparison to Meadow Brook Hall. \r

We had such a beautiful wedding at meadow Brook. The grounds are gorgeous and the service staff was great. The food was good and people loved it. The only issue we had was with the planning aspect with the wedding planner assigned by meadow brook. She would charge us extra at every point if we wanted to customize anything and often go back and forth with what was allowed and not allowed. I could tell my wedding planner was very very frustrated because of the difficulty of working with the meadow brook planner. So be prepared to spend way over the initial price if you want to customize but otherwise is a beautiful beautiful place.

Honestly, the appearance of Meadow Brook Hall speaks for itself; however, the staff and service is right up there. The food and service was exceptional – every step of the way. Jennifer, our event planner, was so timely and friendly with her responses throughout our entire 14-month engagement. She went above and beyond to help us coordinate our vendors and decorations as we did not have a wedding planner. Not to mention she worked with our budget. We absolutely could not have picked a better place to get married. It was beautiful and stress-free. Perfect. Thank you.

I don't even know where to begin. We recently got married and our reception was held at Meadow Brook in the Garden Tent. Meadow Brook was the 1st and only place we looked for our reception site and it was 100% the best choice we made. Our coordinator - Jennifer was the best. She was always accomodating and patient with me. She was so fabulous to work with. The food was AMAZING, the staff - incredible. The venue itself is spectacular whether you are in the mansion or outside. We loved that the masion was open for our guests to tour. Our guests are still talking about how amazing our reception was, and so are we. Yes - having your reception at Meadow Brook is a bit pricey but it's completely worth it. We didn't have to worry about a single thing that day. We wouldnt have changed a single thing. Thank you to Jennifer and the entire staff at Meadow Brook for helping to make our wedding day, the most perfect day ever.

Meadow Brook Hall was a wonderful place for our wedding reception. We worked with Lori VanHulle as our wedding planner there. Our reception was indoors with a cocktail hour, dinner and dancing. My new husband and I did not have to worry about anything and everything was taken care of for us. This made us feel really special and enabled us to really enjoy our celebration. The food was exceptional and the staff was very friendly. Meadow Brook Hall is worth the money.

best staff, best cuisine, immaculate grounds, attentive to each and every detail...we literally put down the deposit, selected our menu, and let the amazing staff (lori vanhulle) do the rest! a week before our wedding, when everyone is typically stressing, we had our last meeting, and as we drove away, my groom said, \"it will be perfect, i have not a single doubt in my mind.\" it was the best wedding we have even been to, and it just so happened to be our own. the only thing i would have done differently was to not bother visiting any other venues, because it wasn't even worth our time. most amazing day of our lives! xo

I can't even rate them a one. We went here to look at the venue, and the service was terrible! We were treated like little kids, and weren't allowed to go ANYWHERE without having a staff member by our side. EVERYTHING is priced a la carte, the air conditioning for the tent is extra, if it rains good luck trying to fit people in the venue. When we were waiting for our \"tour\" as the girl approached up she looked us up and down (mind you we were dressed very nice!) and had an attitude for almost the entire \"tour\". Very disgusted with this place and would deter anyone from going there!

Meadow Brook was the perfect place for our garden wedding! The food and bar were phenomenal. They have everything down to a science and there was plenty of staff on hand to make sure the night was perfect. Food is served from the outside in, so that all tables are served within the same 5 minutes. The presentation of the food blew people away. The chef also made a special sauce for our lobster. The bar never had a line because they have 1 bartender for every 50 people, so we had 4 bartenders on hand. We worked with them and had a contract that we updated with our needs. Make sure that you read the contract word for word, like any contract, there might be mistakes or things overlooked. Meadow Brook was worth every penny.

I never dreamed of my wedding as a child, but if I had, this place would've been my vision. The setting speaks for itself.... the mansion is beautiful, the grounds are beautiful, the gardens are exquisite. We chose to have our ceremony in the pegasus gardens (just google it, it's amazing) and this made the ceremony for me. Our pictures turned out incredible and how could they not with this as the backdrop?\r\rThe cherry on top of EVERYTHING was the fact that Amelia S. coordinated everything for us. She had a superhuman team of people on walkie talkies who orchestrated all of it. They dealt with all of the getting people in line, when to walk, when to stop, where to stand... all of the dumb stuff that nobody wants to think about on the day of their wedding, they took care of.\r\rI will always remember this place as the most beautiful part of my wedding... besides the whole exchanging vows and marrying my soulmate part of it. ;)
