Meadow Ridge Events is a family-run outdoor wedding venue located in eastern Geauga County since 1976. This stunning 80-acre property is ideal for couples who wish to wed amongst nature and experience a relaxed but elegant atmosphere. With your choice of two covered event spaces and ceremony sites, you can host your dream wedding celebration at Meadow Ridge Events. During the summer months, you and your loved one can exchange vows surrounded by tall trees under a wooden arbor at the Creekside Gazebo. Rows of white chairs can be lined out on the green grass ready for your entrance. This nature-filled setting with a wooden bridge and two waterfalls is great for private ceremonies in the great outdoors. Not to mention it makes for one-of-a-kind photo opportunities before and after the ceremony. Banquets, cocktail hours, and receptions can then take place under the Oak Pavilion. This open-air structure is complete with a high ceiling and ample lighting. The area can be rearranged in a number of ways and include space for seating, mingling, a dance floor, and live entertainment should you wish. Additional facilities include the Sugarhouse Bridal Suite where you and your bridal party can relax prior to the ceremony. The second area of the property includes the awe-inspiring Maple Pavilion and Wedding Island. The Wedding Island offers a panoramic lake view, seasonal landscaping, and a babbling brook as a backdrop for your ceremony. Stroll across a manicured lawn to the Maple Pavilion, featuring soaring ceilings, a double-sided fireplace, a 75-foot deck, and post and beam construction. The Maple Pavilion also includes use of the Barn Bridal Suite, which has a new outdoor patio and access to the onsite garden with fresh produce and herbs. Speaking of gardens, Meadow Ridge provides in-house catering using fresh, local ingredients made from scratch. There is also a full staff who provides all of the set up, service, and clean up to make your day seamless. You will work with an Event Manager, who will ensure that you and your loved ones are taken care of, and your day runs smoothly. Meadow Ridge went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding day. It was probably the 8th venue we toured, and from the moment we got there, my husband and I knew this is where we wanted to get married. The grounds are absolutely stunning and Seneca, our coordinator, was phenomenal to work with. She answered all our questions and was always available. She decorated the venue the morning of and it was everything I could have ever imagined and more. The food was amazing and the staff was so friendly, always walking around making sure everyone was having a great time. This is a family run business and you can truly tell they are so proud of what they do, as they should be! I had no stress the day of our wedding because I knew everything would be handled by Seneca and her staff. I would recommend this venue to anyone who wants an outdoor wedding.

Meadow Ridge went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding day. I canât say enough about Meadow Ridge Events! We just had our daughters wedding there October 6th. The grounds are absolutely beautiful with a bridge for the wedding party to walk across and a waterfall to the left of the bridge. The venue itself is unbelievable. They had sides on the building to keep out the chill and wind, and heaters going. It was so comfortable inside. The food was off the charts. Beth was phenomenal in planning and setting up everything, and I canât say enough about the staff. They were there for everything we needed. Definitely check out this venue, you wonât regret it!!â€ïžâ€ïž

Meadow Ridge Events is absoletly incredible. It was the first wedding venue we toured and at that moment we knew we had to get married there. Art gave us the tour and I was in tears with the story of the property and how beautiful it was. The owners and each of their staff members are amazing and all so friendly. Seneca was amazing with providing us with all the information and getting our wedding booked. Then we were provided with our event planner Beth, I can't even put into words how she went above and beyond for us. Beth was incredible with helping organize and making sure our wedding day was stunning. We really couldn't of done it without her. Our wedding day was a dream come true, from the ceremony on the island, the amazing food, awesome bartenders, beautiful weather, and to the stunning venue. The day went so smoothly and perfect. Meadow Ridge was the absolute best wedding venue. The food was delicious, the staff was incredible, and Seneca, our coordinator was so extremely organized and accommodating she really made our day run smoothly. It was raining on and off, so she drove us around the campus to take pictures. The staff also set up everything(center pieces, signs) before we even got on campus. Being able to bring your own alcohol was also great and saved us a lot of money. After our ceremony we wanted a few minutes away from guests, so Seneca picked us up in a golf cart and dropped us off with a tray of apps to enjoy together. She picked us up with drink orders and brought us back to the reception. The entire staff kept coming to our table and other guests tables to ask if they needed anything -refills etc. The Venue is gorgeous, so it doesn't need much decoration. If you're debating using this Venue, don't hesitate, they are really top notch and care so much about their family business and it really shows

The food was phenomenal and so many of our guests have commented since on the food and service. They made sure we didnât have to worry about anything day of the wedding and everything ran smoothly. They also worked super well with all of our other vendors. If we had to plan our wedding all over again, weâd pick Meadow Ridge 1000x over! I don't typically leave reviews for venues I work at but for Meadow Ridge Events. I absolutely had to. I was the DJ for a wedding here last night and was completely blown away. First off, the food was amazing! Take it from me as someone who gets to eat at 30-40 venues a year. 10/10! What really stood out was the staff. They were so accommodating. It was the first time I had worked with them but everyone just made it feel like you were working with family ( in a good way :) ). Outside of all of that. The venue is absolutely beautiful! Overall if your looking for a venue and a venue that will not only take care of you but also your vendors. Look no further!

Meadow Ridge is simply a fairy tale! The grounds are beautiful and the staff was phenomenal, truly a family affair! Everyone was so friendly and professional throughout the night, always checking in on us and our families. The staff all appeared to be enjoying themselves and having fun. When the weather quickly turned into a bad thunderstorm (my biggest worry), the staff quickly moved into action to help re-arrange the band and tables to keep our party going. The rain actually made for a great time dancing outside and the perfect memory. Our wedding coordinator Beth was the best! She promptly answered every little question we had in the months leading up to the wedding and calmed the brides nerves throughout the wedding day. I will always recommend Meadow Ridge for your future wedding without hesitation! Worth every penny!

My fiancé and I were planning this out of state and Beth was so easy to work with and helped us plan an incredible day. If you are looking for an outdoor (but covered! comfortable! classy!) venue for your wedding, Meadow Ridge Events is hands down THE best decision you can make. First, the grounds themselves are nothing short of the best mother nature has to offer - surrounded by trees, a babbling creek nearby, beautiful landscaping in every season, plus gorgeous sunsets if you're lucky! We saw many of our guests sitting by the pond and walking around the property during our reception simply to take in the beauty of this venue. Both high-ceilinged pavilions on the property, especially all decorated with flowers and candles, are truly something out of a fairy tale. Second, you are not only choosing the Meadow Ridge property but the thorough, detail-oriented, friendly, and professional team of staff. Our day-of coordinator, Seneca, could not have been more responsive and helpful with every single question and detail in the months, weeks, and days leading up to our event. And on our wedding day, I knew that I wouldn't have to worry over a single thing as the Meadow Ridge staff would have it covered a hundred times over! They are a family run business, and everyone at Meadow Ridge made us feel truly at home before and during our wedding. Third, the food! If you want a wedding meal that tastes wonderfully homemade, you've found it. We had a BBQ-inspired dinner, with pulled pork, chicken, mac & cheese, and more, and our guests were thrilled. Coming up with a menu to fit our budget and style was so easy with the flexibility offered by Meadow Ridge. Everything was served so fresh and hot, and the buffet dinner service went extremely smoothly.Overall, Meadow Ridge Events allowed us to have the nature-inspired, romantic, laid-back wedding that we envisioned. The entire staff could not have been more professional or helpful - even setting up & tearing down a whole bunch of yard games and photobooth stations for us, in addition to all of our decorations. Guests raved about the beauty of the venue, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our day!

This is the most beautiful venue you could possibly find for your wedding. I once attended a tented wedding overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, on Cape Cod, and it was not as beautiful a setting as this one. There is an open structure surrounded by woods, rolling lawns and a gorgeous pond. It features the surrounding nature while still being quite elegant. The food is truly DELICIOUS, and it is provided by the nicest, friendliest, most cheerful staff, who greatly add to an elegant yet relaxed ambiance. This balance is often not achieved by other companies, so you may not find this wonderful tone elsewhere. Their skill and effort really show that they are a family business where every person is 100 % caring and dedicated to making your wedding perfect.

Beth was our coordinator and she made sure the day went smooth- she was so patient and helpful at a time that couldâve potentially been very stressful. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was gorgeous, and it was overall the most perfect day!! We are so glad we went with this venue and highly recommend it to any couples searching for the perfect rustic outdoorsy wedding :-)

First of all- what in incredible venue! The second you step foot on the property you will see what I mean. Their attention to detail is outstanding. From the twinkling lights in the willow trees, to the beautiful landscaping and serene lake. Talk about a wedding photographers dream venue! It was so nice to not have to travel with my bridal party all over for pictures. It enabled us to spend more time with our family and friends!Next, but certainly not least- we have to discuss the FOOD. No joke when I tell you that almost all of our guests reached out to us to tell us how delicious the food was. Make sure and include the macaroni & cheese as a side dish for dinner and the pizza as an appetizer, you and your guests can thank me later. Last of all, I can't thank the staff at Meadow Ridge enough. They treat you like family and want to make sure your big day is just as special as you've always imagined it. Beth, our coordinator, was so sweet, patient, and completely willing to work with you on any ideas you have. She even gave me a little pep talk before walking down the aisle when she saw my nerves. At the end of the night their staff was so helpful and efficient in packing up our décor and loading up our cars and the party bus. All I can say is WOW!! I am a leader for the Perfect Choice Band and I was part of the Zappitelli Wedding that took place on 8/21/21 at Meadow Ridge. If you are looking for a venue that can provide literally everything for you, just stop your search and contact Meadow Ridge Events right now I worked with Seneca and Matt and their approach to working with clients and vendors is unmatched!I was able to come out and work through the set-up logistics with them, they were super-accommodating to us. We were able to communicate throughout the entire event (from 11am until 11pm) so things stayed on track and on schedule. We provided live ceremony music, live cocktail music and of course live reception music. Matt was always close by to work with me and I really really appreciated that. The entire crew that works for Meadow Ridge are also really great people. The servers took care of us just like the guests and were very complimentary of the band. Then there's the FOOD which I could go on and on about So so good. I made the comment to Matt that I wish I could have put in an order for 5 lbs. of their brisket to take home with me! Taking time out of our busy schedules to view the bride's top 4 choices for venue, I asked at the beginning of the day if she had a clear favorite. She smiled and said yes. Two very nice venue tours down we pulled into Meadow Ridge and stopped at the first pavilion. After looking across the grounds, seeing the 2nd pavilion, pond, and being greeted by an extremely friendly family, I asked if this was her favorite. She said yes. We called the last venue and told them we wouldn't be coming, we'd made our choice.That's how long it took to pick Meadow Ridge, 3 minutes on the property with the family that runs it. From that day on, we felt nothing but magic from the Meadow Ridge team planning our big day. Seneca answered endless emails, returned countless calls, and did everything possible to make the big day perfect. The team really stepped up to make sure nothing fell through the cracks on the big day. They adapted the menu to fit what we needed, accommodated all of our guests, and threw one hell of a party (you HAVE to get the pizza for cocktail hour!). I cannot emphasize enough how hard the team worked on wedding day to assure we needed nothing. I cant think of a single detail that could have gone better than it did. We even had some guests ask how we were related to the venue owners! Our photographer went wild with pictures around the wonderfully kept grounds. Our DJ loved throwing lighting on the beautiful pavilion and playing music all night. We received many comments on how good the food was, especially the pork!Meadow Ridge certainly isn't the cheapest venue to host a wedding. I did find plenty of venues that were more expensive, and I would be willing to say that at any price point there isn't a more welcoming, hard working team to share your big day with. I would recommend Meadow Ridge to anyone from the bottom of my heart.

My wife and i had our wedding at Meadow Ridge Events on June 27th, 2020. We could not have had a better experience! The staff was very friendly and attentive, and were always right on the spot when anything was needed. The food was outstanding, even exceeding expectations, especially the beef brisket. It was honestly the best brisket i have ever had, and i had multiple comments from friends and family saying how much they enjoyed it.This is truthfully a beautiful and one of a kind outdoor venue. Everything about the landscaping and pavilion set up was perfect. Also my wife and i lucked out with the weather that day, which made it even better. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Between the scenery, attention to detail, delicious food, service, and atmosphere, you canât beat Meadow Ridge. Matt and Seneca do a fantastic job running this place. The venue was fantastic! Newly updated and everything was perfect. Both the indoor and outdoor areas were amazing. The bar staff was attentive all servers were phenomenal. The even planner Beth was one of the hardest working individuals I have ever seen. She busted her tail and made sure every detail was taken care of. I've been to quite a few weddings and this was one of the best I have ever attended.

Best service a couple could ask for! Due to COVID-19 and extreme restrictions at our original, indoor venue, we switched to Meadow Ridge 5 weeks before our wedding date. We can tell you now, one week after our wedding, that we were meant to be there all along. Our reception was in the maple pavilion as another wedding was booked in the oak (we preferred maple anyway). Do not be worried that you event will suffer if they have two events in the same night, youâd never know!Laura was our event coordinator and she is my official maid of honor, thatâs how awesome she was! Seneca and Matt (and Nevada and Art and everyone) were awesome and made the whole weekend so special from the rehearsal dinner through to the morning after when we picked up all our decor. It was a fairy tale, truly. We didnât want for anything and our parents were utterly ecstatic, even though we had an entirely outdoor event in early July. It was hot, humid, but totally tolerable. The food was excellent, the venue beautiful, and the grounds impeccable. Honestly, we cannot day enough. Do not hesitate to have your wedding here. Or your ceremony! We were set in a church wedding, but again because of COVI we were âForcedâ to have our ceremony outside. We faced the woods and it was perfect. I could talk for hours about the perfection of the venue, and the staff, but youâll get bored, surely. Everyone in the area was awesome too which made coordinating last minute vendors a breeze! Coffee corners has the best muffins, perfect for a girls breakfast wedding morning, and DS Cakes and Sweet Cafe has delicious cakes and cupcakes.

Meadow Ridge Events is the place to go when looking for an outdoor yet intimate setting with amazing staff. From the very beginning, Seneca, Matt & their crew were incredibly attentive to every need that my husband and I had. They did everything in their power to ensure that everything went as smoothly and efficiently as possible. From making the planning process insanely easy to ensuring that my husband and I always had a drink in hand at the reception, they could not have done better. The food was incredible. They were kind enough to bring us in to do a tasting at their restaurant when we were stuck between two different protein options. Not only was the food amazing, but they were willing to create a menu for us. For us, our dinner was something that had turned us away from other venues. We knew exactly what we wanted, and they made it happen for us even though it was not an option they originally gave us. The fact that they set up & tear down for everything is a tremendous burden that is taken off of the bride & groom. We cannot say enough positive things about this place. They go above & beyond, and our wedding day was absolutely perfect with their help. Thank You Meadow Ridge, you guys are amazing.

I worked with Beth, our personal coordinator to make sure all the details came together. From a custom meal to a custom layout of the venue, she made it work for us. Meadow Ridge sets everything up for you the day before your wedding and takes everything down with care . We didn't have to do anything. Also, on the day of, the staff made my immediate family and wedding party feel extra special by remembering drink orders and bringing them out to you when you looked low. Seriously, amazing people.The venueWe were in the Oak. Just go see it. It's magical. We had a 65 degree day with about at 45 degree night and everyone was amazingly comfortable. We were going to set up a photo area but the grounds were so beautiful that there was no need to.OH and it's very kid friendly. This place is the best for any celebration! We can't express how grateful we are for everything Seneca, Art, Matt, and the rest of the Meadow Ridge Family did for us on our special day. They truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day the happiest day of our lives and exceeded our expectations at every stage of the planning process! From the first moment we went to Meadow Ridge we were already impressed with the quality of the landscape, but then we met Seneca and Art, then we immediately knew that this was the place that we wanted to get married and celebrate our Big Day. They were so delightful, kind, warm, easy to work with, and made everything easy and fun. We can't stop talking about how remarkable our wedding was and it has been over a month, even our friends and family keep talking about how amazing everything was. Everything was incredible: the food, service, views, quality of the grounds and it was all because they know how much it means to the married couple to make it the best day ever! The food is locally sourced and prepared on-site the day of the wedding, wow is it delicious! Every staff member is friendly and helpful, they really go the extra mile to make everything perfect. During the planning process, Seneca was open to our ideas and never hesitated to make it work, even if it was something that had never been done. This place is the best for any celebration! We can't express how grateful we are for everything Seneca, Art, Matt, and the rest of the Meadow Ridge Family did for us on our special day. They truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day the happiest day of our lives and exceeded our expectations at every stage of the planning process! From the first moment we went to Meadow Ridge we were already impressed with the quality of the landscape, but then we met Seneca and Art, then we immediately knew that this was the place that we wanted to get married and celebrate our Big Day. They were so delightful, kind, warm, easy to work with, and made everything easy and fun. We can't stop talking about how remarkable our wedding was and it has been over a month, even our friends and family keep talking about how amazing everything was. Everything was incredible: the food, service, views, quality of the grounds and it was all because they know how much it means to the married couple to make it the best day ever! The food is locally sourced and prepared on-site the day of the wedding, wow is it delicious! Every staff member is friendly and helpful, they really go the extra mile to make everything perfect. Everyone was so kind, attentive, and helpful! Laura was specifically our event coordinator for our wedding and she was amazing. She helped make every one of my wedding wishes come true and made it so easy. Guests constantly approached me, my husband or members of my family throughout the evening to comment on how beautiful the venue is and talk about how theyâve never been at a venue that was so cool before. Our guests had an amazing time and Meadow Ridge made that possible! It was absolutely beautiful and a dream come true being there. Their food was so delicious as well! We got nothing but compliments about the venue, food, staff, and everything in between. The bridal party loved that drinks and snacks were waiting for us after the ceremony. Such an amazing venue!! First of all the pictures speak for themselves - just look at their facebook page and you will realize this place is breathtaking. I was married in the fall the leaves were gorgeous and pictures incredible! BUT...what makes this place a 5 star vendor is the staff. It is a family owned and run venue. Seneca the manager is with you the entire time always answering questions and helping you customize your wedding and giving advice when asked! She met with us a couple days a head of time so we could drop off all the decorations since set up and clean up is included in the price. She listened and notes where you want everything and when I showed up on my wedding day it was all perfect. She is so accommodating and easy to work with. Example of how they go the extra mile. I live in Wisconsin so we wanted to bring a taste of Wisconsin to our wedding. When food planning we told Seneca we wanted Johnsonville brats for our late night snack since that's the typical Wisconsin brat and we just left it at that. When I walked over to get a brat at my wedding (who the owners were serving themselves) she told me that she figured it was some type of special thing so Seneca's mother looked up how Wisconsin brats are made. They actually took the initiative to soak the brats in beer overnight and boil them in beer just so we could have our actual Wisconsin brats. I never asked for that just because I didn't want to ask for too much but they went over the top to make it so special. Seneca helped us with our sparkler send off and when I spilled champagne all over my plate during speeches we was there in the perfect moment to not disrupt the video but clean it up right away. I could go on and on about how amazing the staff is but they are so easy and fun to work with. Worth every penny. And the fact that the venue is the best I've seen makes it even better. They also prepare for all types of weather being an outdoor venue so not to worry!!

This was our first venue we looked at, and after 3 months of searching, we decided to splurge and book the Maple Pavilion at Meadow Ridge. The deciding factor was how beautiful it is and we could envision ourselves getting married both outside, or in if the weather didn't cooperate, under the pavilion. And we're so glad we did! The event space was so amazing! Perfectly lit after dark to provide an amazing atmosphere for dancing and socializing. Heaters took the bite off the cold night, and with a little bit of dancing it was perfect!The food, while on paper looked limiting, not only was plenty, but so amazing! Even the cheese and crackers appetizers far exceeded expectations. Bar tenders we great. Friendly and quickly learned to learn your face and go-to drink. Honestly it was a little impressive.The only negative thing I could think to say was until about a month out from our wedding, communication with their day-of coordinator and main point of communication for planning was a little slow. But after experiencing the high caliber of a reception / party she facilitated, it is apparent why; She gives every event 110% effort. Everything from how she laid out the center pieces to the entrance table set up to the small quirky requests we made to the fact she somehow kept bringing us drinks... She was amazing!If you're on the fence about choosing Meadow Ridge, it is completely worth every penny. They know how important your wedding day is, and everything they do is to make that happen and make it seem effortless.

Meadow Ridge gave us our dream wedding!!!! I was blown away when reading their reviews as I was researching venues because they all were amazing, and let me tell you THEY ARE TRUE! The setting of this venue is so beautiful but the people who work here are what makes it so special! As soon as we walked down the aisle post ceremony they were waiting with drinks for us, they brought cheese and crackers to our bridal party as we took pictures, they even noticed when one of our family members walked in late after the food was put away, and they instantly went over to her and her children and made them plates of food...yes that is the level of amazing and thoughtful service at MRE! And they do all of this with a smile! Seneca was a joy to work with, she was always very responsive, answering all my questions with ease. The whole week before my wedding the weather was calling for storms; Seneca walked me through our backup plan and assured me everything would be fine no matter the weather, she truly put my mind at ease.. and it ended up being a beautiful September day after all! Also, I have to give a shoutout to Doug aka Douggie Fresh behind the bar! He was so hilarious and fun!! We had so many people say this was the most beautiful venue theyâve ever been to. I really hope someone in our family gets married there in the future (we had multiple people tell us they wanted to after attending our wedding) so that we can come back again!! My husband and I loved that the staff brought us drinks and appetizers while we did pictures during the cocktail hour and my husband and his groomsmen thought the bar staff were amazing and a total blast!! Meadow Ridge is an absolutely stunning venue! The pavilions have an elegant and charming feel to them. The ceremony sites are breathtaking!! I really canât think of a more beautiful place. Everything was perfect! Our guests were so compliementary of the food! Many raved it was the best dinner at a wedding they had ever had! The service was exceptional. I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue. We had the absolute best day of our lives and Seneca and Matt are 99.99999% responsible for that. Meadow Ridge was truly an outstanding, breathtaking place to hold our reception. The staff and service were absolutely exceptional. I literally never even made it to the bar to see our decorations (thank goodness for detail photography), because my drink was refilled without me even having to think of it by staff immediately. They brought us drinks and snacks during cocktail hour for the wedding party to enjoy while we were taking pictures. Over 4 months later, I am still getting compliments from friends and guests about our amazing venue.Although we got married on a relatively chilly day in September, the roaring fire and many heats lamps in the Maple Pavilion kept guests comfortable throughout the evening. Hot drinks were also readily available. Even after the music shut off and many guests were still waiting for the last shuttle back to our accommodations, the staff still took care of everyone by handing out water bottles and helping my parents gather and pack up all of the dĂ©cor items, gifts and other random belongings. Our every need was met, and I just canât imagine having spent our perfect day anywhere else.

Between the hospitality, delicious food, fantastic staff, gorgeous landscape and stunning decor, you all completely exceeded our expectations! We could not stop smiling from ear to ear as we entered the venue and saw the beautiful decorative creations you put together! From the wooden crates, to the polaroid station, ivory drapes, vintage books, and farmhouse sweetheart table...It was everything and more than what we could have ever dreamed of and we feel so humbled and blessed to have been surrounded with such amazing people! We can't even begin to tell you how many guests came up to us just raving about every aspect of the venue and asking to know more about it! We also had multiple people that told us it was the most beautiful reception they had ever been to. We knew this was the perfect venue for us but you just confirmed that on Saturday! You made everything go so smoothly and literally took care of all of our worries. Even throughout the reception you would always made a point to ask how we were doing and if we needed anything! There are not enough positive praises I can give for Meadow Ridge! From the moment we toured the gorgeous property, I knew this unique venue would be perfect for our special day. Meadow Ridge is a family owned business and it shows - the level of detail given to the property itself is impeccable. Our wedding was held in the late spring, and with everything in full bloom, there was so much natural beauty that we were able to save a lot in decorations. There are also so many wonderful photo opportunities throughout the property that we never even left to take pictures. Aside from the gorgeous venue and landscape, Meadow Ridge exceeded all of our expectations when it came to customer service. Seneca was always quick to respond and provide sufficient information and suggestions when it came to figuring out the logistics of our wedding day. On the day of, the Meadow Ridge team executed everything flawlessly - from set up to take down, my husband and I never had to worry. Going into wedding planning, everyone warned me to expect at least three things to go wrong the day of, and that really never happened. All employees were hardworking and courteous to guests, drinks and food were always sufficiently stocked and served in a timely manner, and Seneca/Matt checked in with us periodically to assure that everything was running smoothly. Additionally, Meadow Ridge does their own catering, and we received so many compliments on our selected menu! All food was fresh, had great flavor, and did not at all seem like standard catering. Bottom line, if you are looking for a unique venue with gorgeous landscapes, wonderful, professional service, and delicious food options, I strongly recommend checking out Meadow Ridge - it is truly one of a kind!

The first time my husband and I saw Meadow Ridge it was a very cold day in December 2015. My husband and I fell in love with the venue even with nothing in bloom! We were unable to select a date for the following summer, but ended up putting our wedding off to the following summer so we could have our wedding at Meadow Ridge! We booked the entire property! Seneca was great to work with! We planned our wedding from Virginia and Seneca was very prompt in returning our emails and answering all the questions we had! The service was great! We had servers checking on us all night! Seneca and her family were amazing! Our wedding was a perfect day and we owe that to Meadow Ridge for everything they did to make it perfect! The one thing we were concerned with was the weather with an outdoor wedding! It ended up being very windy the day of, but the staff took care of everything! Nothing broke and they pulled the curtains around the pavilion to block the wind! The first time my husband and I saw Meadow Ridge it was a very cold day in December 2015. My husband and I fell in love with the venue even with nothing in bloom! We were unable to select a date for the following summer, but ended up putting our wedding off to the following summer so we could have our wedding at Meadow Ridge! We booked the entire property! Seneca was great to work with! We planned our wedding from Virginia and Seneca was very prompt in returning our emails and answering all the questions we had! My wife and I could not have been happier with Meadow Ridge and their amazing staff on our special day. They made everything a breeze and made us feel like family. It's amazing to think how many weddings they do a year, but they still managed to make us feel so special and like our wedding was the most important one they have done. In the beginning, Laura was so accommodating to our questions and concerns and was able to meet multiple times to ensure that we were happy with everything. Pricing was upfront and fair and nothing was added. Initially, we were concerned about the weather considering it was an all outdoor venue, but we chose June 24th, 2017 and it was 75 and sunny with a cool breeze, it was absolutely perfect. After the ceremony, Matt and Laura immediately met us and the bridal party with refreshments and appetizers to make sure we were fed before pictures. The food was incredible and I've never heard so much buzz about the food at a wedding before, and honestly, for the price it was a bargain considering the options and the wonderful quality and preparation of the food. Throughout the night, the staff at Meadow Ridge was extremely attentive to make sure that we were happy with everything and they went above and beyond with helping in areas they were not required to. For example, the bustle on my wife's dress broke before we started dancing and multiple people tried pinning it up but it did not stay, however Laura found a way to pin it that lasted throughout the night! There is not one thing we would change about that day, and I strongly believe our day would not be as perfect as it was without Meadow Ridge and their incredible staff. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Meadow Ridge was an unbelievably amazing place. We attended a friend's wedding there in June, and actually changed our venue to Meadow Ridge because we were so impressed!The staff are so friendly, and were polite and engaging throughout the entire process. Every last detail was looked after, and it reduced our stress so much. We worked with Laura, and she was completely on top of everything. The whole experience was organized without seeming stressful or like you're :just another wedding\" coming through. We had some non-traditional elements to our wedding, and the Meadow Ridge team worked hard to make sure that everything was in place. They worked with us on tweaking some of the food packages to meet our needs, and everything the night of the wedding was perfect. The food was delicious, the bartenders were fun, and everything was cleaned up seamlessly. They set up and tore down everything--the decorations, the food, clearing tables...we did not have a single thing to worry about.The venue itself is breathtaking. We got married on October 1st, so you got to see a little bit of the leaves changing. There was another wedding going on there that day, but you would have never known. I was a little worried about this initially, but you could not hear or see the other wedding. We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience!

I had my wedding at Meadow Ridge Events one month ago on September 17, 2016. To say I made a good choice going with Meadow Ridge Events is an understatement, the property and Maple pavilion are absolutely beautiful, the staff is so accommodating and the food is delicious! One of the biggest factors in making my decision to go with Meadow Ridge is the fact that it's a family owned and run business, I felt comfort knowing that they would take good care of me and they did just that! Seneca was there to answer all of my questions along the way and was a pleasure to work with. On the day of the rehearsal I left all of my decorations and instructions with Seneca and she went above and beyond to place everything perfectly! I had over 100 candles and candle holders for our centerpieces and the staff even put those together for us, saving us a lot of time when we had a million other things to do the day before the wedding! They also packed everything back up for us after the wedding, making it so easy to take our remaining items back home. All of our family and friends were blown away by the beauty of the venue and they loved the food! Throughout the night Seneca and family were there to check in on us to see if we needed anything, it was comforting to know that we didn't need to think of anything as they took care of it all for us - they even had drinks waiting for us and the bridal party after the ceremony. Meadow Ridge is by far the most gorgeous place in Northeast, OH to have an outdoor wedding! My husband Todd and I discovered it in 2014 and we reached out to Seneca to visit the property. We fell in love with it at first sight. From there on, we booked for the first wedding of 2016. Throughout the two years of planning, Seneca, Matt and the rest of the Meadow Ridge family welcomed us in with open arms. Through the process of renting the whole property, to having our rehearsal dinner there, and having the cocktail hour at the Oak Pavilion and reception at the Maple Pavilion, everything was as coordinated as we could have ever planned. I did not have to worry about anything at all on our special day. They did such an amazing job with the setup (as we had ALOT of stuff!), the food was so amazing, the staff was awesome. Everyone complimented all night how beautiful the property was. We even received compliments that it was the best wedding they have been to in years! (And I would have to agree!!) They always made sure Todd and I had everything we needed, as well as our full bridal party of 20 people! It was the most amazing day we could have ever asked for and they played a huge part in making that happened. If I could, I would give them 20 out of 5 stars!!! :)

Meadow Ridge Events was the best venue we could have possibly chosen for our wedding last weekend (7/16/16). We had multiple guests tell us this was the best wedding they'd ever been to. The price might seem high for an outdoor pavilion but you get what you pay for. The space is absolutely beautiful and so unique. But what makes it so special are the people. The service is top notch--they genuinely care about making your day the best it can be. We wanted for nothing the whole day! Prior to the wedding, friends and family kept asking us 'do you need help setting up or doing this or that?' And everyone was so blown away when we told them, 'nope! The venue handles everything!' Thank you, thank you, thank you. And she is so easy to work with! We planned our wedding over two years (which made me nervous sometimes since we only physically met with Seneca once in two years) but that was all she needed! Meadow Ridge Events was the best venue we could have possibly chosen for our wedding last weekend (7/16/16). We had multiple guests tell us this was the best wedding they'd ever been to. The price might seem high for an outdoor pavilion but you get what you pay for. The space is absolutely beautiful and so unique. But what makes it so special are the people. The service is top notch--they genuinely care about making your day the best it can be. We wanted for nothing the whole day! Prior to the wedding, friends and family kept asking us 'do you need help setting up or doing this or that?' And everyone was so blown away when we told them, 'nope! The venue handles everything!' Seneca and family invited us back to see the property in full bloom so we went back in August 2014 and it was stunning! We went back again in June of 2015 to discuss our wedding and we were once again amazed by the beauty and how welcomed we were by Seneca.\rSeneca was amazing to work with during the whole process. She is so organized and thought of everything! I never imagined planning a wedding could be so care free and simple, but Seneca and family took all of our worries away. On the day of our wedding, they made us feel so special like we were their family. Anything we needed or our guests needed, they were right there. Meadow Ridge farm made my wedding absolutely perfect! I worked with Seneca for my event; I had 190 people at my wedding. Before the day of, communication was easy, prompt, and no question seemed too silly. Seneca was great to work with on all the little changes I had. The food is PHENOMENAL- everyone needs to try the chicken with raspberry glaze. I got so many compliments on the food. I was able to drop off all the decoration a couple days before and when I arrived the venue was set up perfectly. I was so excited I started tearing up (and Seneca almost did too seeing how happy I was!). The ceremony space was beautiful (Oak pavilion), and the staff provided lots of moral support as I waited to go down the aisle. It really felt like they were just as excited as I was and part of the celebration. Day of, the staff was so attentive. Seneca met me as I got off the bus with water right away. They brought our appetizers and drinks (mini pulled pork sandwiches and the cheese/cracker display) for me and the groom/bridal party/family as we were taking pictures. They always made sure me/the groom/my family had food/drinks/etc. People kept trying to get to our cupcake and candy display early and they did a great job of keeping people away until it was time (politely of course!)They helped me stay on schedule the whole night (I was too busy having fun!!) Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough. Everything was absolutely perfect!!! I cannot thank them enough.

If you are looking for a venue that will help make all of your wedding dreams come true and then some Meadow Ridge Events is that place! I can't thank Seneca and her wonderful staff enough on how perfect they helped make our day. We had quite a unique situation with being an out of town couple and the staff at Meadow Ridge was beyond gracious, kind and helpful. The fact that it is a family owned and run business makes you feel that you and all of your guests are part of their family for the night. The set up and tear down just happens to be an added bonus. We added a late night food option to showcase our adopted home town and they made sure to have all of the proper ingredients. The food was delicious and you actually wanted to have seconds, which never happens at a wedding. The atmosphere is fairy tale worthy, just wait until you see your pictures! The compliment that we kept hearing and are still hearing now was that \"this was the best wedding\" and while I thought the same thing the staff and setting of Meadow Ridge make it impossible for people to not say that. Seneca, Matt and the rest of the Meadow Ridge staff thank you from the bottoms of our hearts for making our vision come to life. Meadow Ridge Events is not only the most beautiful venue but their service is top notch. We didn't have to worry about a thing other than enjoying the best day of our lives! We got married there on 7/31/15 and I've been reliving that day over and over. Everything was so perfect. I've already asked my husband if we could get remarried every year just so we can go back to Meadow Ridge to celebrate. During the wedding planning, I think we met Seneca on-site at least four different times. I really did have a different reason to go there each time but now that I think about it, I can finally admit, I think I just wanted to go hang out and relax on their beautiful property. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and the service too.... we've had so many compliments. The food, service, and scenery is absolutely perfect! The fact that they set up and clean up your decorations for you is such a huge help too. \rI was going through photos about a week before our wedding and I found a picture of myself along with friends riding on a hay wagon through the Meadow Ridge property. I had forgotten, we had one of my birthday parties there in the late 1980's. It's so cool to see a family business still going strong throughout so many years and offering exceptional services. You can tell they take great pride and joy in what they do. The Meadow Ridge family and staff will always have a special place in our hearts. Honestly there are no words for how perfect our wedding was. Most of that was due to Seneca, her staff, and how BEAUTIFUL this venue is!! Through the process people would ask me to describe where we were getting married and I honestly just couldn't do it. The word 'pavilion' does not do the structures justice. You have to see them in person. The moment we pulled up, we were sold, we wanted to know where we sign before we even got out of the car or tasted food. Seneca was a HUGE help through the whole process. She put up with an uncountable number of annoying emails and just made everything perfect. We had our wedding on the 4th of July and wanted to use their fireworks vendor. VERY long story short, the fireworks vendor couldn't do it for us. Instead of just saying oh well, Seneca went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure that we had a fireworks show. It was absolutely AMAZING! The staff the day of my wedding was PHENOMENAL! Every time I turned around a staff member was there to see if I needed anything. As soon as I lost my drink, they were there with another one. My family continues to talk about the great service. The food is unbelievably delicious, I have no other words for it. We were told repeatedly the day of our wedding that it was the best wedding people had been to. Weeks later and people are still reaching out to us just to tell us that it was the best wedding they had been to! Everyone was asking how we found the venue, it was the perfect place for the perfect day. Thank you Seneca and the staff at Meadow Ridge!!

I gave her all of the decorations to put where she thought was best and I was blown away when i saw everything all put together! On our wedding day the rain was unbelievable... I didn't think it would ever stop! Even with all of the rain the staff at Meadow Ridge still gave me the wedding I had been picturing over the last year. From the moment we first arrived at Meadow Ridge Farm, we knew it would be the perfect venue for our DIY vintage-inspired wedding. There are two venues to choose from, but we highly recommend the Maple Pavilion! With tall ceilings, natural maple wood and a large deck overlooking Phelps Creek, the Maple Pavilion is absolutely breathtaking. The ceremony location is right next to the Maple Pavilion and a large, serene pond with willow trees. With the Maple Pavilion, you also gain access to the beautiful, new bridal suite with a covered porch, which was built in spring 2015.\r\rThere were several main reasons why we chose Meadow Ridge as our venue. First, the property is absolutely beautiful and youâre completely surrounded by nature. Itâs the perfect location for taking natural light photos. Second, Meadow Ridge is a family-owned business that began as a dairy farm in the 1970s. The owners actually live on the property, with the two venues located at the very back of the property in their own private space. The ownersâ daughter, Seneca, is the venue coordinator. Itâs literally a family affair, and thatâs what really sets them apart from other venues! As a family-owned business, they take GREAT pride in satisfying their clients to the best of their abilities and are constantly looking for ways to improve their services and venue spaces. They donât nickel and dime you, like most venues do. You donât feel like youâre dealing with someone whoâs just trying to make a sale. They truly treat their clients like theyâre a part of the family. Third, Meadow Ridge serves 100% fresh, locally sourced food that isnât frozen. Food was really important to us, so thatâs another huge reason why we chose Meadow Ridge. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS! We had raving reviews from all of our guests, who kept going back for more. The meats are prepared onsite by grill chefs, the cheeses are from Middlefield, and the rolls are baked and brought in by the Amish on your wedding day/\r\rOn our wedding day (6/27/15), there was the worst flash flood of the year. Starting in the morning, the venue had concerns that weâd need to cut our wedding short by several hours. Fortunately, the rain stopped for a short period in early afternoon, which allowed us to take some photos around the property. When the heavy rain started up again, we were able to take any remaining photos on the beautiful porch of the bridal suite. Our ceremony, which was supposed to be outdoors by the pond, was moved indoors due to heavy rain. It took place in front of the gorgeous fireplace, with a fire going, and turned out beautifully! It was incredibly intimate and romantic. As the flooding worsened, the venue requested that we shut down our wedding at 7:30 pm because the roads were flooded and dangerous. However, they were very flexible and came up with a solution that allowed our wedding to continue until 10 pm, just a half hour before the original end time. They even shuttled guests to and from the venue so they wouldnât get stuck on the flooded roads.\r\rSeneca, the venue coordinator, was amazing! Throughout our entire wedding planning process (which spanned nearly two years), she was extremely easy to work with, very responsive to emails, and provided helpful advice for what would and wouldnât work. She really went above and beyond the typical duties of a venue coordinator to make our big day extra special. Both our guests and vendors said our wedding was the best they'd ever attended!

From the moment we first arrived at Meadow Ridge Farm, we knew it would be the perfect venue for our DIY vintage-inspired wedding. There are two venues to choose from, but we highly recommend the Maple Pavilion! With tall ceilings, natural maple wood and a large deck overlooking Phelps Creek, the Maple Pavilion is absolutely breathtaking. The ceremony location is right next to the Maple Pavilion and a large, serene pond with willow trees. With the Maple Pavilion, you also gain access to the beautiful, new bridal suite with a covered porch, which was built in spring 2015.\r\rThere were several main reasons why we chose Meadow Ridge as our venue. First, the property is absolutely beautiful and youâre completely surrounded by nature. Itâs the perfect location for taking natural light photos. Our wedding at Meadow Ridge was absolutely flawless! From the landscaping and beautiful scenery, to the delicious food (best wedding food anyone had ever had) and excellent service, I could not have asked for more! From the first time we visited the site, we knew that there was something special there. The owner, Art, was so passionate about his business, and we felt like he truly cared about each and every event they hold there. From then on, I had nothing but pleasant experiences with everyone I worked with there. I worked with Laura on all of the actual planning, and I could not believe how incredibly helpful she was! She was patient, and kind, and truly invested in making our day amazing. Any time I spoke with her, I felt like I was talking to a friend. She made me feel so comfortable, and she was so supportive on our big day. The bar tenders they provided were courteous and helpful. One of their employees even ran to his house to get us a sound cable when our music wasn't playing right! I simply cannot say enough about Meadow Ridge and the great service they provided! I wish I could do it all over again!

I could never express the amount of gratitude that Seneca, her husband and the rest of the amazing staff/family at Meadow Ridge deserve. I had my wedding at the maple pavilion June 6th 2015. It was absolutely perfect! From the beginning to the very end, everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Seneca made the planning process run smoothly; she put up with my indecisiveness and was always available when I had a question or change of plans. The night before the wedding she was calm, organized and helped to make sure everything was were it needed to be. The day of the wedding was amazing, I couldnât have dreamt up a better location or people to help put it together. Daniel, our parents, and I were taken care of the whole night. THE FOOD. The food was outstanding! We went with their grilled chicken, veggies, and smashed potatoes. The potatoes were phenomenal ï Everything was locally sourced so it made it ten times better. I canât believe that our day is over, but I would highly recommend anyone interested in having an outside wedding to choose Meadow Ridge. It was overall outstanding. Simply put, we could not have asked for a better wedding experience than what we had at Meadow Ridge. The venue itself was impeccable and setup exactly as we had discussed in our planning meetings with Laura. Throughout the day and night there were never-ending compliments on the venue and how beautiful, serene and unique the settings was for celebrating our big day. Many guests of the wedding had already started thinking of ways they could utilize the space for future events before the reception was even over!\r\rOne of the things that had drawn us to Meadow Ridge was the incredible reviews and comments about the food - the feedback does not even begin to give the food the recognition it deserves. Not only was it one of the best meals we have had in a very long time, it was a meal that had every single one of our guests satisfied and impressed. The food was fresh, delicious and is a testament to Meadow Ridge's commitment to excellence in all that they do. The meal was served in an extremely organized and efficient manner and not a single person went home hungry that night! \r\rIn addition to the stunning venue and incredible food, the service we received from the staff was beyond what we could have ever imagined. Laura, Seneca, Matt, the bartenders and the rest of the Meadow Ridge staff were phenomenal. Meadow Ridge Farm was the perfect outdoor location! My husband and I got married in August 2014 and the whole process was made so much smoother because of the hard work of Seneca and the rest of the staff. We planned this wedding while living in North Carolina and they had amazing communication to make sure that all of the little tasks were getting done and were very accommodating to letting us view the farm on the random weekends we were able to make it up to Ohio. I would recommend this venue for anyone who wishes to have a beautiful outdoor wedding.
