Melville Marriott Reviews
Brittany Maulo(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-12-2019 Beautiful venue and food was excellent! Staff was so accommodating and helpful. Everyone had the most wonderful evening! Reviewed on 11-09-2020
Maggie McCarthy(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 31-12-2018 When trying to plan a wedding, it took four days to get someone on the phone to even make an appointment to come in. Then when we came for our appointment we got no pricing or menu information. The Tour was a total of 10 minutes and we got no information and barely saw anything. Ballroom wasn't in tact and she didn't even bother to show us pictures of what the ballroom would look like for a wedding. Definitely will not advise anyone to book a wedding there. Nicole Hagan(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-04-2017 ***This review is solely for brunch event we held here - never was a wedding guest. When the hotel my wedding guests were staying at failed us by not allowing us to host our next-day brunch at their hotel, we ended up booking at their competition down the street at Marriott. Marriott has a lot of private rooms where you can host an event, and luckily our room ended up being spacious, probably fitting about 60 guests. The breakfast buffet was AMAZINGGG, and even though I was too busy chatting to make it over there, heard very good things about the omelette station. They even had to-go cups for the coffee which was nice since some of my guests wanted to hit the road ASAP. They even let us pack some of our leftovers to go too. The only critique we had was that we needed a bit more help with directing our group to this room, because it's a huge hotel and there was just a small sign right by the room itself (not leading up to it). Still, great for an event like we had. Reviewed on 25-06-2017
Laura Simicic(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-04-2017 The hotel was beautiful, great location and restaurant food was delicious! The only downfall was the manager in charge of the blocked rooms. She was hard to get in touch, rude and not accommodating. Reviewed on 31-05-2017
Robin Sussman(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-01-2017 The Melville Marriott is where I booked my room blocks. Ilene, Ashley and the whole team were a pleasure to work with. The bridal suite was spacious and beautiful and Ilene even put my Matron of Honor in an adjoining room, something I didn't even think about, which made everything a million times easier. Ingrid Marolt(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-09-2015 The hotel is nice, their bar and breakfast area is renovated and it looks really modern. But I would not use their indoor pool, since you have no privacy. I was looking forward to use it but then I changed my mind. I would use it if it was open after midnight, but it closes at 10 pm.\rWe booked 50 rooms but only 27 were actually booked by our guests. We needed 30 to get our room for free. I wish the hotel staff would be more flexible on that since 27 is still a big number! At the end they gave us 50% discount and a free breakfast, but I still think it would be nice to give it to us for free since we brought so many people in the hotel.\r Reviewed on 03-10-2015
