Memories Ballroom is a historic wedding venue located 30 minutes outside of downtown Milwaukee in Port Washington, WI. This charmingly rustic ballroom dates to 1934, when it was a dance hall that welcomed world-class big bands, singers, and comedians through its doors. Today, the facility maintains many of its original furnishings, including the hardwood maple suspension floors, while boasting contemporary and state-of-the-art amenities. Situated just off of Highway 43, this 2,500-square-foot banquet hall is a convenient, cozy, and affordable location for your wedding. Say “I do” underneath the vaulted tamarack log ceilings of Memories Ballroom’s spacious main hall, which can accommodate up to 400 guests. This ballroom is seasonally decorated and creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The space also features a polished wood bar, twin stone fireplaces, and a large dance floor. Here, you and your friends and family can dine and dance late into the evening under twinkling string lights. When you rent Memories Ballroom you will have access to a DJ, who will work with you to design a fully customized reception setlist. Your booking also includes an event coordinator, a catered dinner prepared in the in-house kitchen, cake cutting, bartenders, and unlimited sodas. In addition, you will have the option of two beverage packages to accompany your meal. Option A comes with three half-barrels of beer, while option B includes two half-barrels of beer and 10 bottles of house wine. You can also add a fun photo booth to make timeless memories with all your loved ones.

On 10/15/22 We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Memories! They are so easy to work with especially with the coordinator Lisa! They made all our ideas a dream come true. staff was very friendly. Between our ceremony and reception, guest went to the bar, Lisa and her crew got the hall flipped from the ceremony set up to reception style in less than 20 minutes! We loved how our guest (250 of them) got through the buffet line within in 20 minutes! Food was fresh and amazing, Dj Dan played ALL the music we want plus every request our guest made! We also purchased the photo both and guest all got copies to bring home! The biggest thing that made us choose Memories was the package deals! No hidden cost. Even the DJ included in the bar package!!! I would highly recommend.

We had a 200+ guest wedding & needing a venue that could accommodate that many & not send us into bankruptcy. I found Memories by accident when looking at another venue; I called & they gave me a tour THAT DAY. 48 hours later the deposit was made & it was smooth sailing! It is so inclusive & SO COMPETITIVELY PRICED, you cannot go wrong! DJ, decorations, table/chairs, table numbers if you'd like, & an optional photobooth for $500 (& you get a copy of EVERY PICTURE TAKEN)!Lisa was a pleasure to work with - super knowledgeable, & if you want her to take the lead, she'll do it & make it stress free. The food is made there & served buffet style, & it was super tasty. Oh, & you get to take home the leftovers - SCORE! It was such a great place to have our reception - I would recommend it to anyone. It's decorated seasonally & the Fall decor is spectacular. Even months later I still see guests using their picture in front of Memories's fireplace as their Facebook profile picture. We had roast beef, broasted chicken, several sides, & an open bar & I couldn't believe the final cost. Any other place would have been probably twice as high. It was a great place & absolutely perfect for our wedding day!

Perfection! Everything about Memories Ballroom was exactly what we were looking for. They include severs, bartenders, amazing catering, and very reasonable bar packages in a beautiful, spacious venue. Lisa Green (the VP of operations) is truly the best! Perfection! Everything about Memories Ballroom was exactly what we were looking for. We had an absolutely amazing experience planning our wedding at Memories. I wasn't quite sure what to expect approaching from the outside, but the interior is unbelievably beautiful. The floral displays really make everything pop. We were able to plan our table decor to integrate the beauty of the hall and use our colors, but the hall itself is almost enough.There is more than enough parking for all your guests. The food was really fantastic considering the quantity they are serving. We chose broasted chicken (crispy and juicy) and did an upgrade to salmon (which they cooked incredibly well).Lisa was really fantastic to work with. She serves as a default wedding advisor when needed. She helped facilitate a lot and was very accommodating with setup and cleanup. We got the drink package which included DJ service, and the DJ played exactly what we were hoping for.We were planning from out of state so we were somewhat nervous about how everything was going to fall together, and inviting people from all over the country and the world to Port Washington (of all places). Honestly, we wouldn't change a thing. Memories really made our special day even more special.

Had our ceremony and reception at Memories. Was a perfect day. The wedding coordinator, Lisa, was outstanding. Answered all email inquiries prior to the wedding quickly. Was there for the rehearsal and wedding day. We were totally pleased with this venue and couldn’t have asked for a better day!

Memories Ballroom is a hidden gem. When my husband & I first showed up for a venue tour & saw the outside, we almost left. We thought it looked liked like a small town bar out in the middle of no where. Luckly we decided to step inside anyway & we were blow away. Memories was the perfect setting we were looking for with a barn like atomphere & beautiful flower decor. We toured a few other places after this, but Memories was always at the top of our list. It is the best for a beautiful & low priced wedding. They literally do it all - ceremony, reception, decorations (set up & take down), food, drinks, music, & a photobooth! Lynn was so wonderful to work with & they handle everything while we enjoyed our day. It truely was amazing place for a wedding & you should definitely give it a chance.

I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to Memories. They took so much stress off my plate for our wedding. Lisa, the coordinator, was absolutely amazing. Not only did she help with the venue details, but she helped with our ceremony and some of the other details that we wanted. During the rehearsal, she helped to take charge and make sure everyone knew where to go. This helped us out so much. Our ceremony was amazing because of her help. DJ Dan made the reception one to remember by playing our favorite songs and more. Also, the food was really good! I would highly recommend Memories to anyone looking to have a beautiful wedding experience. We are looking forward to going back to check out some of the other events. Thank you so much again Lisa and the Memories team!

The venue was perfect for what I was looking for rustic, inside and able to do ceremony and reception in one spot. The whole crew was super nice and definitely made sure the night went off without a hitch! The DJ that comes with the package was great! He found all out songs, even some bizarre ones for the reception. It was incredibly reasonable for all that I got! I had a smaller guest count due to graduation falling in my wedding date and was concerned we would have tons of food leftover but everyone loved it so much there wasn’t much left. Definitely would recommend to other brides. We plan on coming back for their shows and the chicken. It was amazing. Thanks Memories crew!

Food was great, beautiful inside (perfect rustic feel), only complaints: bartenders seemed like they didn’t want to be there, and the dj played music that we didn’t really care for. Overall, our reception was AMAZING and we loved having it here.

Memories Ballroom is a very beautiful place to have a wedding reception. They have seasonal decor so you are only left to decorate centerpieces and whatever other touches you would like. They also have an onsite DJ who you are required to use. He did an ok job and it was one less thing for me to have to book.\r\rThey provide all food (buffet style) onsite, it was excellent, as we had many guests compliment on the food, and my husband and I enjoyed it very much.\r\rThere are a few things I was disappointed with at Memories which is why I'm only giving them 3 stars. The staff was fairly accommodating, but at some points were rude, which I did not appreciate. It was not directed toward me, but guests of the wedding including my MIL and father.

This reception location was great! The price included everything! The hall, the hall comes decorated per season, a huge card box, table linens, beer, soda, catered food (and you get to take leftovers home, and the DJ. It was such a great deal and Lynn was so wonderful to work with.

Our wedding reception was held at Memories Ballroom. Everything was great. Diane is really easy to work with. We have no complaints. We recieved many compliments from our guests about how great the food was. The bartenders were awesome. There was even an area with a pond and bridge for pictures. I would highly recommend.

This place was reasonably priced for all that came with it. They set up, tore down, cut the cake, provided linens, catered, provided a dj, and much more. We were very pleased with the communication and results.
