The Metropolitan at the 9 did a phenomenal job with our wedding cocktail hour and reception celebration. It was a seamless experience and the actual wedding day production could not have been better. Our coordinator, Kennedy Kessner, did an exceptional job in managing our details and in bringing our vision to life. We inquired into the utilizing the venue as a result of a sentimental history and role that the establishment played in our early relationship. Kennedy sealed the deal after our tasting meeting where it was clear that her attention to detail and communication abilities were exceptional. She maintained a high level of professionalism and quick response time throughout the experience and made sure that everything was absolutely perfect.

There isn't enough words to express how thankful we are for Kennedy and Team! The second we set foot in the Vault, we knew this is where we wanted our Wedding. It was everything we dreamed of! From start to finish, every single detail was covered, and come the big day- every single thing was executed above and beyond! They added so many little details that meant so much to us and made us feel so special! The venue was gorgeous, the flow was flawless and the food was some of the best we (and our guests!) have had! We could not have asked for a better day. We are forever thankful for how special Kennedy and every single person on the team made us feel and made our day!!

Communication and professionalism was excellent and guests are still talking about how much fun and how great the food was weeks later! I cannot recommend this space enough. We also did our engagement and wedding photos on site and they turned out beautifully — especially the photos on the rooftop and in the vault!

Throughout our experience at the 9 - we truly could not have asked for anything better. From the venue space, to venue staff, and food we received many complaints. The food was fantastic and we received an ample amount of praise regarding the taste and presentation throughout both the cocktail hour and reception. Kennedy, Social Sales Manager, was fantastic with communication throughout the process. She was available the week and day of to help our event run smoothly. She assisted with input and was very accommodating throughout the process. The rest of her team, especially Micheal (Banquet Manager), was amazing. They made us feel calm and assisted throughout the night. Micheal went out of his way to ensure that we (bride and groom) were well taken care of. The whole team supplied us with cake and pizza in our room at the end of the night as a nice surprise.

The Metropolitan at the 9 is seriously such a dream wedding venue!! All of the spaces are gorgeous with the Garden of Eden Rooftop, The Vaults, and the Mint Ballroom, all of your guests will be absolutely wowed by the spaces here. Everything being all in one space for the ceremony, cocktail hour, reception and even the hotel rooms was so easy and made the entire day run so smooth. Kennedy and Allie are seriously the best things to ever happen to my life while wedding planning! They were so helpful, accommodating, and overall just amazing to work with! I still can’t believe how much the staff did at The 9 and how perfectly they executed every small detail for us. There were so many things we never even had to worry about the day of our wedding because Kennedy was so on top of it! I could say a million more things about The 9, but anyone considering having a wedding here should absolutely do it, it’ll be the best decision you ever make!

We just got married on Saturday and I cannot stop raving about The 9! We worked with Allie and then Kennedy - who served as our primary coordinator for The 9 and overall, I cannot express my extreme gratitude for her and all of her colleagues at The 9! They made wedding planning so enjoyable and made our wedding day even better. We got compliments from friends and family on how absolutely iconic this venue is. Unfortunately, we did get rained out but the team rolled with the punches and we got married in the rotunda. I cannot imagine the amount of work that goes into a day like this on their end - but I know they made me feel heard, excited and handled everything before I even knew it was happening. My husband and I would do it all 100 times over - that’s how easy they made it! Not only was their wedding team 10/10 - their staff throughout the entire hotel was FLAWLESS! They made us feel so loved and celebrated and I can’t thank them enough. If you are on the fence about The 9 - I can assure you, you will not regret it! To the entire team at The 9, thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Having our wedding at The 9 made wedding planning one thousand times easier! Such beautiful ceremony and reception places on top of such kind and accommodating staff. Being able to coordinate everything through them and not have to book catering, linens, alcohol, etc individually is one of the best perks as well. The cherry on top is definitely Allie, their event coordinator. I truly don’t know what I would have done without her during our wedding planning and during the day itself. She responded to all of our questions and emails so quickly and was extremely helpful with suggestions and recommendations. She was on the ball our entire wedding day and made everything so seamless. I can’t thank Allie and the rest of the members at The 9 for such an incredible day. Would 100% recommend to have your wedding here!!

The employees were beyond nice, helpful, and congratulatory. I cant say enough good things about our coordinator Allie Hippler. My wedding literally would have fallen apart without her. My outside-hired coordinator dropped the ball all weekend but Allie, along with my other vendors, were there to pick up the slack. Allie was so upbeat all the time and answered every single one of our thousand questions before the big day and made sure the day itself went smoothly (again, despite its hiccups). Truly do not hesitate booking the 9 for your wedding!!!

Everything about our wedding at Metropolitan at the 9 was FLAWLESS. The venue itself is gorgeous, the food is amazing, the staff was not only friendly, but went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of the night of and before. Allie, the venue coordinator is amazing. She is so responsive, knowledgeable and friendly that you do not have to worry about anything. Allie makes a consistent effort to make sure you are getting exactly what you want for your wedding and that everything looks gorgeous the day of. I felt so calm the day of my wedding because I was confident that between Allie, Erica, the catering manager, and the rest of the staff at Metro at the 9 that any problems that may come up would be handled without me even knowing. We had our ceremony in the Mint Ballroom, cocktail hour in The Vault and our reception in the Mint Ballroom. I am still getting calls and texts about how amazing everything looked and how cool it was to have our cocktail hour in The Vault. Thanks again to Metropolitan at the 9 for an amazing wedding weekend! And thanks to Allie for answering all our questions, and ensuring that our wedding was flawless.

Everything about our wedding at Metropolitan at the 9 was FLAWLESS. The venue itself is gorgeous, the food is amazing, the staff was not only friendly, but went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of the night of and before. Allie, the venue coordinator is amazing. She is so responsive, knowledgeable and friendly that you do not have to worry about anything. Allie makes a consistent effort to make sure you are getting exactly what you want for your wedding and that everything looks gorgeous the day of. I felt so calm the day of my wedding because I was confident that between Allie, Erica, the catering manager, and the rest of the staff at Metro at the 9 that any problems that may come up would be handled without me even knowing. We had our ceremony in the Mint Ballroom, cocktail hour in The Vault and our reception in the Mint Ballroom. I cannot say enough about this venue! The venue itself is a showstopper. From the moment our guests walked in they were in awe of the beauty. The staff was so friendly and helpful and made the experience that much better. Allie our coordinator at the 9 was the absolute best. She was always quick to answer my questions and was there all weekend whenever I needed her. She even brought me ginger ale and pepto when my stomach was upset. The banquet manager Erica was also absolutely fabulous and helped us tremendously. The 9 literally took care of EVERYTHING and made my life so much easier. I was able to relax and enjoy the day because the staff was just so incredible. Another favorite about the 9 is the versatility. We were able to have our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and after party all on the premises at the different areas available. The 9 was also able to accommodate our 2 dogs and treated them like royalty. The dogs were in our ceremony and even joined us on the rooftop for our after party. If I had to do it all again I would go right back to the 9!

The 9 was so easy to work with and everything turned out better than we could have imagined. We worked with Allie and she was so detail-oriented and on top of everything. She is the best!! Our guests loved the food and we couldn't be happier with our experience!

ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! The entire team at the 9 went above and beyond to make me and my husband feel taken care of during the entire process of wedding planning. We were planning our wedding from the other side of the country (during a pandemic no less), and felt 100% comfortable placing our wedding in the hands of the 9. The food was AMAZING, the decor was perfect, and the wedding planning team was superb. We would highly recommend anyone get married at the 9. You will not regret it.

ABOVE AND BEYOND!!! The entire team at the 9 went above and beyond to make me and my husband feel taken care of during the entire process of wedding planning. We had our ceremony and reception at the 9 and couldn’t have been more pleased. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and we loved not having to spend too much money on decor. The space spoke for itself! The 9 was a beautiful setting for a wedding. From tremendous views of downtown during the ceremony to a unique cocktail hour space in the Vault. My guests LOVED it. We worked with Sierra and she made everything a breeze. I was able to give her all the material I had for the wedding and her and her team set it all up without me having to worry about one bit. It was so nice to have everything at one location. Beautiful, unique venue with great service!

All I can say is The Metropolitan at The 9 does hospitality right! They blew us away in every aspect of our wedding. Sierra Piazza, their special event coordinator, is so sweet and incredible to work with. Her attention to detail is amazing and made planning a wedding from the other side of the country easy. My husband and I love bourbon. Russ and David worked with us to create a custom barrel aged cocktail as our signature sip. It was so incredibly cool and one of the best cocktails I've ever had! The entire staff is fantastic. Everyone was always super helpful and accommodating, we truly felt like royalty the whole weekend.The 9 is an amazing place for pictures! We got city-scape pictures on the rooftop, awesome vintage-esque pictures in The Vault, and some really pretty shots in the Rotunda (3 totally different vibes all without leaving the hotel!) We had our ceremony and reception in the Mint Ballroom, and in between, the cocktail hour was in The Vault while they completely transformed the Ballroom. The few of us even went up to the Azure Rooftop bar at the end of the night to keep the party going. Also, the food was incredible! Everything was great when we came in for our tasting, but what impressed me the most is that the quality was just as great the night of the wedding when they served almost 200 of us. We heard compliments from our guests all night long about EVERYTHING. (Our family and friends still bring up how awesome everything was over a month later.) Thank you all for everything. I'm so happy we had our wedding at The 9, I couldn't have dreamed up a more perfect night!

All I can say is The Metropolitan at The 9 does hospitality right! They blew us away in every aspect of our wedding. Sierra Piazza, their special event coordinator, is so sweet and incredible to work with. Her attention to detail is amazing and made planning a wedding from the other side of the country easy. My husband and I love bourbon. Russ and David worked with us to create a custom barrel aged cocktail as our signature sip. It was so incredibly cool and one of the best cocktails I've ever had! The entire staff is fantastic. Everyone was always super helpful and accommodating, we truly felt like royalty the whole weekend.The 9 is an amazing place for pictures! We got city-scape pictures on the rooftop, awesome vintage-esque pictures in The Vault, and some really pretty shots in the Rotunda (3 totally different vibes all without leaving the hotel!) We had our ceremony and reception in the Mint Ballroom, and in between, the cocktail hour was in The Vault while they completely transformed the Ballroom. The few of us even went up to the Azure Rooftop bar at the end of the night to keep the party going. Also, the food was incredible! We had our wedding at the 9 a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. It has so many incredible and unique spaces to have a truly unforgettable wedding. Ontop of that the food is amazing, the selection and quality of food was far beyond that of the many other weddings we have attended in the area. Furthermore, this place ready caters to weddings and will go the extra mile to treat you with 5 star service both during and leading up to your wedding. We felt like rockstars in the process of planning and Samantha truly made it easy and enjoyable. What's more despite the seemingly significant food and drink minimum the venue will not gouge you on anything. As long as you meet the minimum pretty much everything is included and a lot of other amazing features are included at no cost. Can't say enough about this venue we loved it. You won't regret it.

The 9 for a flawless execution on your big day!From the calls and prep going into the planning (which were many since I was planning from Chicago), to the wedding eve surprise champagne, to the day-of morning text getting us excited for the day, and finally to the prompt note after the celebration, Samantha - the planner at the 9, attention to detail goes above and beyond. Those details made me, as the Bride, feel calm and confident and confirmed that they genuinely cared about our big day! I was also blown away by the staffs professionalism, can-do attitude, responsiveness, anticipation of needs and problem solving skills. They gave the discounted room rate to my guests who booked last minute, accommodated all needs, and were so easy to work with! Not to mention that the venue is:-walking distance from everything downtown- has stunning photo opportunities inside (making rain okay)- The Vault makes for a killer cocktail hour. Instead of standing awkwardly at tall tables, my guests got to check out The Vaults many rooms- Only one wedding at a time occurs, unlike some venues - Amazing food - Large Rooms - A rooftop bar, movie theater, gym and grocery store all inside

This was the perfect venue for a modern sleek and stylish wedding/reception! The venue was over the top and all guest felt like superstars. There was a slight delay in communication as new staff transitioned, but before the transition and as we got closer to our date things were much better and all of the little details came together. The venue was super easy to work with and you get an awesome package from the hotel suite, the pillowcases, and dress preservation. You get so much more than just a room and seating.

She worked with us throughout the year of planning and took control of deliveries with other vendors for us. She also worked with our DJ to coordinate a live stream of the Time's Square New Year's Eve ball drop during our reception. It was magnificent. \rThe venue itself is majestic. The crystal chandeliers and vault walls made for incredible pictures. They also offer pieces of old Cleveland Bank boxes to use as centerpieces. They were lovely!\r\rLast but not least, the customer service was remarkable. Staff was silent, but everywhere. During the wedding weekend, they made sure our family members had drinks whenever needed and at no extra charge. Simply said, everything fell into place with the help of the staff at the 9.
