Ruined my bachelorette weekend, worst policies, and most unhelpful staff! I called to get room info and pricing, the lady on the phone suggested 2 adjoining suites. I collected money from all 7 of my bridesmaids, and scheduled all my events around our \"fun\" MGM casino night. Then, MGM tells me there is no way to get adjoining rooms, at all, ever, simply based on what's available the day of check in - that's an insane policy! The spa pricing is actually different than advertised online. The room prices went up $300 even though it's still 2 months out. To top it off, they have the worst customer service! No apologies offered, just said no, no, not our policy, can't help. How can this be a major hotel in the area????

I would like to thank the staff at the MGM hotel for helping to create the most amazing wedding memories!!\rSpecial thanks to SHAHNEE who worked with my mom and bridesmaids to secure the plans... both the surprise of the suite to get ready for the wedding and the \"surprises\" in our suite on our honeymoon night showed her dedication to detail and customer service. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and my husband & I look forward to our next visit to try out the spa!\rKim & Alan - Columbus

MGM offered us a several options to customized the party to fit our style and budget. We started with a day at the spa, then had a great dinner and finished with the dance club. We gave guests the option to join at any point during the evening...and nearly everyone wanted to be a part of the entire day/evening!

My fiancé and I decided on MGM Grand Detroit simply because we had a lot of out of town guests and wanted to make it easy for them to come to and enjoy our wedding. What we got was even more then that! 5 Star service all the way, the event coordinator, Jenni Titterington, is absolutely amazing and very easy to work with. The space is HUGE and the best part about it is, it's all yours, no one else can rent out any of the spaces the night of your event. The food is excellent, we receive so many compliments from our guests. They were very accommodating when it came to working with our other vendors (florist, photographer). They truly made our wedding SPECTACULAR!!!!

My fiancé and I decided on MGM Grand Detroit simply because we had a lot of out of town guests and wanted to make it easy for them to come to and enjoy our wedding. What we got was even more then that! 5 Star service all the way, the event coordinator, Jenni Titterington, is absolutely amazing and very easy to work with. The space is HUGE and the best part about it is, it's all yours, no one else can rent out any of the spaces the night of your event. The food is excellent, we receive so many compliments from our guests. They were very accommodating when it came to working with our other vendors (florist, photographer). They truly made our wedding SPECTACULAR!!!!

We had our wedding & reception all at MGM in Detroit MI. In a word...Fantastic! You truly get the one on one attention you deserve. The food was beyond delicious. The cake, awesome! We still keep hearing how delicious everything was. The attention you get from your coordinator is just fantastic. I highly recommend having your wedding at The MGM Grand in Detroit! You won't be disappointed!

MGM was great! Our room (king executive) was perfect size and its so modern and fun! They waived our $20 per person entry fee into Club V and gave us a ten dollar gambling voucher. Perfect place for a bachelorette party!

We had our wedding at the ballroom in the MGM Grand hotel in Detroit. It was absolutely beautiful, and they provided amazing customer service the whole way through. They let people order shots and any other kind of drink they wanted. Everyone told me the food was the best they have ever had at any wedding they have been to. I thought everyone would start leaving the wedding by 10:30 or so to go gamble in the casino area, but everyone was still on the dance floor at 12:00AM when the DJ stopped, even though we stopped serving alcohol at 11:30. Jenni Titterington, the banquet manager, was awesome to work with, and she helped me through all of my freak out moments. After the wedding, we all went down to one of the casino/club area to finish up our night. I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone. It is pricey, but well worth the money we spent.

I was amazing what my maid of honor had planned for us to do. She got us a VIP section in ignite bar and lounge, its was awesome just being there. We had access to the night club too, but we never made it down there, because we had such a great time in the lounge. I would recommend this to any soon to be bride, it was an amazing experience!
