Milićević Farm & Vineyard Venue is a charming winery wedding venue in Abita Springs, LA. Owner Ivan Milićević has brought his experience from his family vineyards in Hercegovina to the Pelican State, creating a stunning farm and winery and producing quality wines. Complete with grazing Angus cattle, ducks and geese, three sweet donkeys, and the fragrance of ripening grapes hanging in the air, this is sure to provide a fairytale setting for your dream wedding. This family business began in 1950 in Hercegovina, where Ivan spent his youth. He moved to the USA in 1989, and after building up a successful business, he decided to return to his roots and establish a vineyard of his own. This beautiful winery boasts both indoor and outdoor spaces for every aspect of your wedding weekend, from your rehearsal dinner to the reception. You can exchange vows outside amid blossoming trees and vines or in the bright and airy indoor space, complete with high vaulted ceilings and stunning statement chandeliers. My daughter was married here in December 2022 and it’s taken this long for me to be able to gather my thoughts enough to not use all 3500 words of this post to express how AMAZING this venue, their staff, and this family is!There is not one aspect of the experience that could have been better! Everything was top notch from the accommodations to the communication, and even all the way to the moment we departed that night… we were taken care of all the way! Like we were family!The food, the dancing and the vibe is still the talk of our friends and family and it’s been over a year. We were super particular about the food and the service experience because we are huge foodies and businesses owners ourselves. Funny thing is, our pastor just mentioned a couple of days ago that none of the weddings he’s done has topped the food that he had at that wedding.It was important to us that the food ranked up with the aesthetic of the venue and, no lie, it completely did!It really was a dream come true! The building and the grounds are absolutely gorgeous just as they are so it took very little for our florist to personalize it to our tastes. This venue even took the time to match the pillows on the chairs to the exact color of my son in law’s suit and the wedding accent color. Seriously, not one thing was left unthought of by Taylor and her family when it came to our family.Half of our guests were travelers in town from as far as Nigeria, Canada, Australia, Ghana and various places in the U.S. They all raved about this experience and how amazing it was.It was important to us that our guests felt the love we had for the sacrifice of them being with us and Taylor and the team took that commitment serious right along with us.The bridal suite and groom’s suite were so welcoming and comfortable for the bridal party and that set the whole tone for the day. Even our vendors voiced how inviting the experience was.I truly could go on FOREVER about this place but I will end it by saying if you are looking to have an unforgettable experience in an intimate yet accommodating space in Louisiana that brings southern charm together with superbly unique indoor and outdoor aesthetics, then this is the place for you! If food matters, if decor matters, if integrity and service matter… don't wait to book! I’m glad we did and it certainly made all of my daughter and son’s dreams come true! They still periodically thank us for giving them their dream wedding with the Milićević Farm & Vineyard Venue and family!My heart has been made happy and I can’t thank them enough!

There are so many wonderful things to say about this venue and the people behind the scenes making all the magic happen! Weston and I got married in May 2022 and we’re one of the first couples to get married there. Mrs. Kim and Taylor were beyond amazing to work with in helping make our wedding experience a dream come true. Mrs. Kim and her husband Mr. Ivan have created a beautiful venue that I truly believe is at the top of the list when it comes to wedding venues!! The venue is absolutely breath taking and the bridal and groom suites are a must!! The food was absolutely delicious! All of the feedback we got from our guest had nothing but great things to say about the food and the wine! Planning a wedding is stressful but working with the vineyard made things so much easier on our end! I truly believe that you get what you pay for and this venue is a perfect example of that saying. Every little detail that you don’t think of, they do! They made sure that our parents and grandparents had dinner plates and drinks at the start of the reception (which was something that we were so appreciative of). I could go on and on about why this is hands down the best venue for your wedding, but the best advice I can give to any newly engaged couple is this - schedule a tour and see for yourself! You will not be disappointed! This is hands down the most beautiful venue for such a special day! We are so happy we chose the vineyard for our wedding day and can’t thank them enough for making our day perfect!

Words cannot express how beautiful this place is! My daughter’s wedding was there and the best way to describe it is, Magical. From the day we toured the venue, my daughter knew immediately that she wanted to get married there. The family is so accommodating to your wants and needs and do everything they can to make the bride happy. The venue, the food, the service and the attention to details makes this THE place to have a wedding. The bride and groom suites are an absolute must. Our day started with breakfast and mimosas as we relaxed and had hair and makeup done. We then had a beautiful lunch before we went down to take pictures. The guys enjoyed the grooms suite with big screen tv’s, a pool table and dart boards. They enjoyed breakfast and lunch as well as they relaxed and enjoyed the day together. The grounds offer several spots to have your ceremony with beautiful ponds as your background. Taylor and her staff are amazing to work with and put their heart and soul into making sure your day is what you have dreamed of. Don’t even hesitate, book your wedding here!

I don’t even have words! I got married this weekend, January 7, 2023, and all I can say is WOW! This was easily the best day of my life and I have Taylor and the rest of the staff to thank! They were so easy to work with! Any time I needed anything they got it done immediately. Their attention to detail is like no other. Taylor kept in communication with me throughout the entire wedding process to make sure my wedding day went smoothly! I highly recommend the bride and groom suites. We used both and it was just fabulous! There are so many beautiful locations on this property for your ceremony! The food was also amazing! We were married on 10/22/22, and I can’t recommend Milicevic Vineyard and Venue enough. From our first viewing, it was clear they go above and beyond for their couples. The elegant venue itself houses several amenities (i.e., beautifully decorated groom/bridal suites, spacious reception area, many bathroom stalls, two bars, multiple ceremony locations), serves incredible food, and is an all-over photo-op. The food and drinks were regarded by so many of our guests as the best they’d had at a wedding, and we can speak to the phenomenal menu we were able to enjoy at their prior food and wine event and our own ‘sweetheart’ meal during our reception. We reserved our date roughly 14 months out (a few months before the venue officially opened), which led to much planning time. Over that time, Taylor (who became our Day-Of Coordinator) was incredibly helpful. She was quick to respond, thoroughly detail oriented, and made the planning process painless as the venue handles so many aspects of the wedding day. Taylor even spoke with our vendors the week-of to verify details, timelines, etc. This preparation led to me feeling so relaxed week and day-of as I knew I was in good hands. Laurie was our attendant for the getting-ready process, and she was very prompt with providing refreshments and foods for our bridal/groom suites. She and Mrs. Kim handled several details and questions that came up as they set up for our ceremony/reception. Taylor also continued to check in on us throughout the wedding itself and ensured we were able to maximize our time at the reception by smoothly adjusting our timeline as needed, which I greatly appreciated. All three of these ladies ran an efficient, attentive crew with a smile on their face all day. Booking Milicevic is a worthwhile investment into having your perfect ‘big day’. My husband and I frequently commented that we were so at ease and that everything truly turned out perfect. We received so much positive feedback from our guests that this is a venue we hope to return to as a guest someday. Thank you, Milicevic team, for everything!

Where do I begin?! Milićević exceeded our expectations in every way. Kim and Ivan created the most beautiful place for weddings. Every little detail was considered in the building process, and it truly shows on your wedding day. Taylor the sales manager and day of coordinator is so kind, thoughtful, organized, and accommodating. She meticulously went through every detail with myself and my planner to ensure that my wedding was everything I envisioned. Kim, her mom, was so very helpful. She even held my veil to ensure it was picture perfect for my bridal portraits. The bridal suite and grooms suite make the day so stress free and convenient. Everything is in one place which provides more time for enjoying the day. Our wedding was November 12th and we booked in August of the previous year before the venue had opened. I'm so glad we chose this venue for so many reasons. We looked at many venues, both on the Northshore and Southshore, and the level of service we received from this one was unmatched. The venue itself is beautiful, but also provides a blank canvas for you to make it your own. All of my other vendors were blown away by the beauty- especially my photographer because there's plentiful spots for gorgeous pictures. If you're considering Milićević for your wedding, I say BOOK IT! You will not regret it. Thank you to Milićević for making our day truly perfect and so memorable.

Where do I start? Wesley and I were one of the first couples to book their wedding at this new venue and were the 12th wedding they hosted at this venue and THERE IS NOT ONE BAD THING I COULD SAY ABOUT THE VENUE, THE OWNERS, OR THE AMAZING STAFF. This venue was love at first sight. As soon as we walked in and met the owners, we knew without a doubt this is where we were getting married AND MAN IT WAS THE BEST DECISION WE COULD HAVE EVER MADE!From start to finish Taylor was by my side guiding me all the way and there for me for whatever I needed. I feel like she is like a sister now after all we endured together during the wedding planning process. The day of the wedding was an absolute dream come true. The venue, the decor, the ceremony, and every little detail just fell into place. The food was absolutely to die for and the entire staff just treated us like family. I would not have been able to get through this day without Taylor, the coordinators, the owners, and the best staff members ever. MY WEDDING WAS AN ABSOLUTE DREAM COME TRUE and I OWE IT ALL TO THESE AMAZING PEOPLE. I was soo sad for it all to come to an end, but knowing I have gained lifelong friends through the process gives me comfort and peace because these people and this place will forever be such a huge part of my life and memories..If you are considering this venue...I can honestly say SPLURGE. SIGN THAT CONTRACT. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.

Wesley and I were one of the first couples to book their wedding at this new venue and were the 12th wedding they hosted at this venue and THERE IS NOT ONE BAD THING I COULD SAY ABOUT THE VENUE, THE OWNERS, OR THE AMAZING STAFF. This venue was love at first sight. As soon as we walked in and met the owners, we knew without a doubt this is where we were getting married AND MAN IT WAS THE BEST DECISION WE COULD HAVE EVER MADE!From start to finish Taylor was by my side guiding me all the way and there for me for whatever I needed. I feel like she is like a sister now after all we endured together during the wedding planning process. The day of the wedding was an absolute dream come true. The venue, the decor, the ceremony, and every little detail just fell into place. The food was absolutely to die for and the entire staff just treated us like family. I would not have been able to get through this day without Taylor, the coordinators, the owners, and the best staff members ever. MY WEDDING WAS AN ABSOLUTE DREAM COME TRUE and I OWE IT ALL TO THESE AMAZING PEOPLE. I was soo sad for it all to come to an end, but knowing I have gained lifelong friends through the process gives me comfort and peace because these people and this place will forever be such a huge part of my life and memories..If you are considering this venue...I can honestly say SPLURGE. Looking for a venue that can accommodate your next wedding? Look no further. Let's dive in.For starters, Milićević farms is nestled on beautiful land; with vineyards and animals sprinkled throughout. Additionally, the main building for the venue is gigantic and located centralized withen the perimeter. On top of this, There are several additional structures around the property that can serve other purposes as needed. The venue consists of several amenities that you would need for a great wedding. A seperated bride and groom suite that can connect upstairs with a balcony, but, also join together downstairs for the processional. The room for the processional of note does have a fantastic sliding barn door. A outdoor and indoor bar. Plenty of room around the main room for a band, confessional, food, and any other idea you might want to bring to the occasion. The staff, wedding planners, and food service were also outstanding and deserve equally as much praise as the complex itself. Everyone was extremely helpful in helping the families create their perfect wedding. Staff we dealt with had great attitudes and were extremely professional. Food wise, The shrimp and grits were some of the best I have ever had. The kale ceasar salad was also a standout. Of note, the bride and groom suite were supplied with food throughout the day which was included in the base price. Overall, I can't put into words enough how smooth the wedding went. One of the best I have attended and was proud to also be a part of. I have attended several weddings in my lifetime and can easily say this was the best, which, to be honest, I can thank the staff at Milićević farms for their hand in.

Hands down, this is the easiest review I will ever write. With the venue being fairly new, it’s truly a “hidden gem” on the Northshore. I can picture this venue 5 years from now being booked all weekend, every weekend of the year. Our wedding was on October 15, 2022 and we booked the venue in September of the previous year. We toured 6 different venues across New Orleans and the Northshore for our big day. We fell in love with Milićević Farm & Vineyard Venue for so many reasons I can’t even count. Most importantly, not a single thing went “wrong” on our wedding day (like everyone was telling us to prepare for). The owners of the venue and coordinators are all so hands on and detail oriented through the whole process. We could tell they truly did care about making sure our day was perfect! Kim and Ivan have created a beautiful, perfectly thought out, one of a kind venue - I would easily say this is the most beautiful wedding ceremony and venue space in Louisiana! Taylor, the Sales Director, was also one of our Day of Coordinators, has now become a friend though the whole process. She is so thoughtful, kind and really makes sure everything goes to plan! The bustle on my dress came undone a few times during the reception (due to how heavy the satin fabric was on my dress), and Taylor was at my side making sure it stayed secured! Laurie was a huge help and also made sure our day was perfect. The bartenders and other day of staff were great. The venue is spacious, so aesthetically pleasing you hardly need any additional decor, and really has every detail you could possibly want. There are multiple options for your ceremony (both inside and outside). The food was amazing and they hosted a beautiful food tasting event prior to our wedding. What makes them different than the other venues we toured and received quotes from? The hospitality, you’re able to rent the bridal and groom suite for the entire day, on site bridal and grooms suite with lunch provided, massive wedding guest bathrooms (no lines), two bar locations (also no lines), ability to set up for the reception/ceremony the day before (if there’s no wedding), sparkler exit (most venues don’t allow), month of wedding coordinator, plenty of onsite parking, rentals and tons of add-on options… I can go on and on. As far as pricing, you pay for what you get! This is a world class facility with phenomenal service and amenities. It’s worth it and we couldn’t change anything about our day! We received quotes from 10+ wedding venues in South Louisiana and these prices are fair and competitive with similar venues. Our only concern when planning was the distance of the venue from the Covington Hotels. On the wedding day everything was smooth. We had a hotel block at the Courtyard Marriott in Covington and had a shuttle after the wedding for the bridal party and guests to take back. Highly recommend. Low cost and worth no one having to drive 20 minutes back to Covington post wedding. If you’re considering, please go tour! THANK YOU MFV for hosting our perfect day!

Hands down, this is the easiest review I will ever write. With the venue being fairly new, it’s truly a “hidden gem” on the Northshore. I can picture this venue 5 years from now being booked all weekend, every weekend of the year. Our wedding was on October 15, 2022 and we booked the venue in September of the previous year. We toured 6 different venues across New Orleans and the Northshore for our big day. We fell in love with Milićević Farm & Vineyard Venue for so many reasons I can’t even count. Most importantly, not a single thing went “wrong” on our wedding day (like everyone was telling us to prepare for). The owners of the venue and coordinators are all so hands on and detail oriented through the whole process. We could tell they truly did care about making sure our day was perfect! Kim and Ivan have created a beautiful, perfectly thought out, one of a kind venue - I would easily say this is the most beautiful wedding ceremony and venue space in Louisiana! Taylor, the Sales Director, was also one of our Day of Coordinators, has now become a friend though the whole process. She is so thoughtful, kind and really makes sure everything goes to plan! The bustle on my dress came undone a few times during the reception (due to how heavy the satin fabric was on my dress), and Taylor was at my side making sure it stayed secured!
