We recently held our daughters wedding reception at the Milwaukee Marriott West. EVERYONE we worked with before, during and after the event were fantastic. Extremely accomodating in every possible way. We had quite a few guests stay at the hotel and all said the same thing. The ballroom was perfectly decorated by the staff. Would highly recommend this venue for others

My husband and I are so grateful we chose the Milwaukee Marriott West for our wedding reception! Three words to describe our experience - fun, beautiful, and easy! Our contact Danielle is directly to thank for that. From the tasting (which is extremely helpful the months leading up to the wedding) to the week and day-of, she was very responsive, flexible, and sweet. We had a few last-minute changes to our guest list (8:00 AM the morning of) and she was on it!Additionally, the bar and wait staff were incredibly friendly and super attentive. They checked in with my husband and I throughout the night to make sure we were having fun and had what we needed. This was so appreciated and didn't go unnoticed.Outside of service, the food was very important to us and they totally delivered. We chose buffet-style and served lemon-rosemary chicken, bruschetta-style pasta, and prime rib. We also had passed apps and late night stations (french toast/sausage and nachos/quesadillas). Everything was delicious and displayed beautifully.Another huge perk to holding your wedding here is that they supply some of the decorations and will do all of the decorating for you the day-of. This alleviated a lot of stress and allowed us to focus on getting ready with friends and family.Last but not least (I could keep going), it was so convenient to hold our reception at a hotel. This made it very easy for guests to stay out late worry-free. And it's really pretty, too! There were plenty of great spots in the lobby and hallways to take couple photos.All in all - amazing experience! We will continue to recommend this venue for years to come. Danielle and the staff at the Milwaukee Marriott West were top notch and were a large part of why my wedding weekend was successful. We had our rehearsal dinner and reception here and both were outstanding. Danielle, Maria, and Aide made sure everything was perfect. They set up a beautiful rehearsal dinner spot for us and we had so much fun. The day of our wedding we were able to have our own bridal suite area which was also set up beautifully and allowed us space and privacy to get ready. The reception was perfect and everything went according to plan- all thanks to Danielle and her team. The team at the Milwaukee Marriott West answered all our questions, accommodated all our needs, and each and every member of the staff was willing to help wherever needed. Danielle and her team are the definition of exceptional customer service. I recommend this venue to all brides who want a smooth and stress free weekend. Thanks Danielle, Maria, Aide, and all other staff members who made my wedding weekend unforgettable!!!

I cannot say enough about this wonderful than you. The hotel was not only clean but the staff was amazing as well. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about the Milwaukee Marriott West to justify how much we enjoyed our experience with them. Any staff we came in contact with throughout our journey went above and beyond for a great experience. We initially met with Ashley for our first tour and worked with Kelly and Danielle throughout our planning. To say Kelly was a blessing is a severe understatement. I've never worked with anyone so sweet and responsive. Once we started working with Danielle, our experience didn't change. She was so kind and again nailed the communication every time. For anyone considering this venue, I'd highly recommend doing yourself a favor and at least taking a look. Our guests loved their experience from the cocktail hour and apps, to the dinner and dancing. Their customer service is top notch and I'd highly recommend the venue - so grateful we stumbled on it.

Kelly was our manager for our wedding this fall. She was so unbelievably helpful despite a few staffing changes and well, a pandemic. She was so good at keeping my anxiety managed and paying attention to every single detail. The Marriott was amazing to us through the whole process and I would 100% recommend the Marriott west to anyone in the milwaukee/Waukesha area for a wedding. Kelly was so on top of her game and was there the night of. We were so impressed overall. Highly recommend:)

I am so thankful for the staff at the Milwaukee Marriott West. Being a 2020 bride was HARD. There were so many changes we had to navigate through and new mandates we had to follow weekly it felt like and honestly the Kelly Woyak and her staff made it all so easy. There are many things that people have reached out to us about our wedding day but the most compliments we got were actually about the Marriott. How beautiful the reception was (many people explained how they got emotional when the doors opened to the ballroom - myself and my husband included.... it was BEAUTIFUL), how freaking yummy the dinner/hours d’oeuvres were, how professional and courteous the staff was... honestly I could go on and on. I will 100% recommend the Marriott to anyone until the end of time. Thank you all for making our night so perfect!

My husband and I cannot thank Nicole and the team at the Milwaukee Marriott West enough to ensure we had the most amazing and perfect wedding day! From the moment we started researching venues until the days following our wedding, the Marriott was so responsive and accommodating to all of our needs. The hotel in general is very modern and elegant, and the ballroom is BEAUTIFUL. We wanted a classic, romantic wedding, and the Marriott gave us just that.Our guests absolutely raved about the food and drinks. There was plenty of food at the cocktail hour, and each dinner plate had a generous portion of pork, chicken, steak or ravioli. The late night snacks never ran out, either. As an added bonus, leading up to the wedding we were able to have a menu tasting to choose all of our meals, wine and drinks. We were even able to customize a few items to make our wedding extra special, and unique to us. The team at the Marriott was checking on my husband and I (and our parents) throughout the night, which meant a lot to us. It was great to be catered to on such a special day. They handled all of the coordinating of vendors, set up, tear down and clean up, which really helped us, our families, and our bridal party enjoy every aspect of the day. I could go on and on, but long story short - choose the Milwaukee Marriott West for your wedding day, and you won't be disappointed.

This was the perfect wedding venue! From the very first meeting with Nicole to the day after the wedding, everything ran smoothly without a single issue. The venue was beautiful, spacious and easy to get to for all our guests. The rooms at the hotel were great, and I loved that my out of town guests didn't have to leave the venue after the reception. Nicole was amazing! She responded quickly to every question we had and accommodated every request. She took care of all of the details so that I could enjoy the day. You will not be disappointed with this venue!

This was the perfect wedding venue! From the very first meeting with Nicole to the day after the wedding, everything ran smoothly without a single issue. The staff that was working was attentive and cared so much about our needs throughout the night. They continuously asked us how we were doing and if we needed anything. It was truly our day, and the Milwaukee Marriott West staff was on board to do what we wanted to do. Our family and friends were extremely impressed, too. The food was fantastic. Big portions. Nicole at the Marriott seriously is a Queen! She was professional from the very beginning to the way end. She was absolutely on top of everything and probably remembered more about my wedding than I did throughout the whole process. The Marriott is so accommodating and every staff member is very friendly. My wedding went so smoothly because of everyone at the Marriott. They set up everything for the reception which was extremely helpful. I had a sweets table and the company delivered the sweets but then it was extra for them to set it up. I asked Nicole if she could do it so I could save some money and she said absolutely! Right after the Grand March we had staff attending to my Husband and I right away, we truly felt so special! I was a little skeptical of the food just because it was so good at the tasting, I was nervous if the chicken would be dried out at the Wedding since they are cooking in mass quantities but it was SO GOOD! I can't recommend this place enough to have your wedding. Nicole and the staff made it so wonderful and the planning as stress free as it could be!!!

The Marriott staff was able to bring our wedding vision to life and coordinated with all of our other vendors to ensure the night flowed smoothly. All of our guests raved about the food and over half of our guests took advantage of the good hotel rate and stayed the night. We have only heard great things about the food, venue, and service. Our wedding reception could not have been more perfect, and we have the Marriott and Nicole to thank for that!

She was very organized, responsive, and open to any and all ideas my husband and I had for our reception. From day one we were blown away by the level of costumer service. The entire process was a delightful and stress free. When searching for venues we decided to just stop by without an appointment and look at a wedding that was being set up. One of the managers Josiah saw us taking a look and the next thing we knew we had a cocktail from the bar and we were lead on an hour long tour. From that day no venue we visited came remotely close to the level of costumer service. Our experience only got better as the months of planning ensued. Nicole and Josiah were flawless on the big day and completely made a rather hectic day into a stress free celebration. The food and apps were incredible. Not only was the management team top notch so were the servers and bartenders. We did not receive a single complaint from our guests. The Marriott West was absolutely the best place for us to have our reception. While I do not often leave reviews, I felt compelled to share with other couples just how great of an experience we had in hopes that they would have something similar. The team and the Marriott was absolutely fantastic. Starting with a woman named Nicole, we started meeting/connecting with her after we booked the hall. She was thorough, prompt and very accommodating to our unique crew/plans (i.e my wife and I wanted to have a shot at 10pm after we were done mingling and that was on the agenda/itinerary). Leading up to the big day, she was very responsive to our room list questions, helping us organize who would receive gift bags, and also helping us orchestrate the breakfast sunday morning that my wife and I wanted to provide to our family and wedding party. Nicole was top notch in every way.I cannot leave out several other members of their team. A man named Josiah (I believe he was the manager on duty the night of), was attentive and detailed. Several times throughout the night he found either my wife or I, or one of our parents just to check in to see how everything was going. His customer service was second to none. Also, the rest of the staff on that night, from the servers, to the bartenders, everyone made this the best day possible. My wife or I did not hear one complaint about anything, either the night of or even several days later after we had the chance to process. Besides the fact that the staff was amazing and amazing to work with, I must say what blew me away was how accommodating they were. Our wedding had 320 guests with about 50 staying over night (some of which didn't register until the week of). And, truth be told, our group knows how to have a good time. Not one person has said anything but positives to our wedding day and I truly believe that this is a direct reflection of the staff and the venue.Since I was the groom, I don't pay attention to many of the little things, such as the tables and flowers, but I can say that the hall was beautiful in every way possible. Elegant, inviting, detailed. Just fantastic. The food was outstanding. When we did our food tasting, the portions were huge! I was concerned that of course they would give us larger steak and chicken samples because they want our business. But I was dead wrong, those portion sizes they served us at the tasting were the same as the wedding day. No one went away hungry and the food was cooked to perfection. All steaks were a very tasty \"medium\". (With over 100 people ordering steak, you cant cook above or below). I cannot recommend this venue enough. The team is fantastic to work with, the food was spot on. If you book this venue, I can tell you that it is a decision that you will never regret and you can have absolute faith in the team here!

Nicole Caine was EXCELLENT to work with! Our initial tour was with Nicole since Ashley was on a leave, but Ashley ended up leaving and replaced Ashley so it worked out well. She was incredibly responsive to all of my emails. While she was on maternity leave (up until the week of our wedding), I spoke with Christine whom was also very responsive and provided the guidance I needed. The food was absolutely amazing, it was better then our tasting! We also got a small plate of the passed appetizers at the head table waiting for us!! That was such a treat. They also were able to get us our favorite Rose to share amongst the bridal party and parents!! The staff the evening of our reception was absolutely amazing as well. They continued to ask us and our wedding party if we needed anything at all continuously during the night. All of our tables were beautifully decorated. I couldn't of asked for a better night!!! It was a dream come true. We also used the hotels parlor and suite to get ready in for the bridal party. We fit 4 different hairstyle stations and 2 make up stations!! It was perfect with the bar stools and mirrors the hotel provided!

We had our wedding reception at the Milwaukee Marriott West on September 30th.I highly recommend this venue to anyone that wants a classy, yet modern feel to their wedding along with the convenience of being in a hotel setting. I picked this venue due to the size of the cocktail area and ballroom - other venues seemed too small to hold 200 people, and I didn't want tables really close to one another. I didn't want to be downtown and have my guests worry about driving or parking either. The best part about the whole wedding planning process at the Milwaukee Marriott West is Ashley Berry. She is an excellent wedding coordinator. Very nice, down to earth, and responsive. Every single question or conversation was met with a smile. She really helped my ideas come to life and offered suggestions on how to make them even better! The Marriott will set up all of your wedding decor and also take it down - a huge plus so you don't have to worry about it on your big day! When I saw the room for the first time the day of the wedding I was literally in shock on how good it looked. The catering and serving staff was also great. Everything came out on time. I received many compliments on how everyone ensured every guest was happy and had everything they needed. The hotel rooms themselves are very nice as well for your guests to stay in.It is well worth having your wedding here. You will not be disappointed!

So many of our guests have complimented our wedding, the venue, the hotel, the food, and really everything about the reception. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. They covered every detail with us during our reception planning and when our day finally arrived, everything was perfect. Ashley and Andrew paid close attention to us to ensure that we would have a memorable wedding. Guests complimented on the beautifully decorated ballroom, the food and the hotel accommodations. I can't recommend this venue enough for their wedding services. We had the best wedding coordinator - Ashley - who made sure we understood everything and took care of us from start to finish. We had to move our ceremony to the hotel as well because of weather and they were so helpful in making the ceremony just as special as it was supposed to be. We were able to enjoy the entire reception because all of the hotel staff made sure everything was taken care of and we didn't have to worry about a thing. We loved being able to see the reception space all decorated and before everyone else got to see it. It was so beautiful and made all the planning totally worth it! Other venues may have more than one wedding going, but here we were the only wedding and we truly felt like we were the most important thing going on. That really made the difference for us. The facility is all newly re-done, so everything is in great condition and everything just feels new and modern. All of our guests loved the party and the guest rooms! They super nice and the price is great. All in all - I don't think I have one bad thing to say about our whole experience.

Not only is this venue gorgeous, the people are incredible to work with. From the very first walk through to the clean up after the reception, the staff at the Marriott fulfilled my every need and gave me exactly the experience I expected while planning a wedding. Ashley, the event coordinator, was quick to respond to all my questions leading up to the big day and on the day of she made sure all of my decorations looked perfect. I had 180 guests which comfortably fills a little over half of the ballroom but since I wanted to use the entire room, Ashley worked with me to add a lounge space and made sure that the entire room felt full. During the reception, the staff made sure the night flowed seamlessly from cocktail hour to dinner to dance even when the bridal party showed up quite a bit later than expected. Their experience in weddings definitely shows. All the guests loved the food (especially the WI skewers during cocktail hour) and the venue overall. No complaints from this happy bride...I would highly recommend this venue!

Having our wedding reception at the Milwaukee Marriott West was one of the best decisions my husband and I made throughout our wedding planning process! It was such a pleasant experience from start to finish. The wedding coordinator Ashley is OUTSTANDING!! She is very friendly and personable and timely with her phone call and email responses. I probably emailed her 1-2 times a week the couple months leading up to our wedding and she responded to every question I had within 24-48 hours. The week leading up to our wedding, we dropped off everything for our wedding in her office and she set everything up with her staff so we did not have to be a part of the decorating the night or day of our wedding. It really relieves some of the stress the week before your wedding to know that everything for the reception is under control by such awesome staff. On the day of our wedding, Ashley and her staff greeted my husband and I when we walked into the reception hall. They were very accommodating to any requests we had. Every 20 minutes my husband and I were asked if we needed anything. They even asked our parents throughout the night if they needed anything! It was so great to have a venue that had everything included at one place. We heard so many compliments from our guests that the food was some of the best wedding food they have had. We had about 230 guests and we could have fit a lot more without being crunched. It was the perfect space for our guests and every table had a lot of room for guests to move around. It was also great because the Marriott has their own chair covers and chair ties you can use so you don't have to pay extra for those unless you want them custom to your wedding colors. They also have their own uplighting for an additional cost but when we compared the Marriott's cost for uplighting to our DJ it was so much cheaper! With the new renovation of the lobby area and the reception hall it looks very modern and appealing to the eye! If I had to do our wedding all over again I would book the Milwaukee Marriott West in a heartbeat. It was so great for our guests to be able to walk up to their rooms at the end of the night-and they are very nice rooms! Thank you to everyone at the Marriott for providing us with such an awesome experience for our wedding and a special thank you to Ashley who made the wedding planning process as stress-free as possible!

My wedding was the most important day of my life and I am so grateful to say that it was PERFECT thanks to Stacey, Eric, and the rest of the staff at the Marriott who worked so hard to make my wedding a total success. I gladly filled out the survey that was sent to me after my event, but I did not feel that it adequately brought attention to the exceptional job Stacey Mandich did to make my day perfect. The Marriott is so blessed to have Stacey on staff to create perfect weddings. Stacey did everything that I needed her to. She was prompt responding to my emails with questions and concerns, she met with my family and I to go over details, and most importantly she worked with us to make changes and substitutions when many other venues were unwilling to. She is happy, understanding, responsible, and simply gets the job done right. I felt 100% confident with her coordinating my wedding. I was beyond ecstatic when I entered the ballroom to see how beautiful the room looked -everything was in its perfect place. We had a wonderful time at our wedding and everyone including our planner Stacey was outstanding for the entire event. Overall again thank you for everything the Marriott did. Everyone was super nice and very hospitable. We all got everything we wanted.. Even our special orders (for dinners thank you very much by the way), We can't speak high enough of the overall service we received.

Our wedding day was beyond perfect at the Marriott. Everything was so elegant and well put-together....it flowed quite smoothly. The time and effort put into planning it was apparent. Also thank you Stacey and your staff for the extra special touches, like extending the time frame of certain things and the chocolate-covered strawberries, champagne, and card & gift in our room. We appreciated everything! We will definitely recommend the Marriott to everyone we talk to...actually we already have. We got so many compliments on the hall and service it's not even funny!\rIt was the Best Place to host your Wedding!!

Venue is beautiful. Dustin the banquet manager is amazing. the only reason why I didn't give 5 is bc dealing with the sales manager leading up to the wedding was the most stressful thing about planning my whole wedding. Luckily Dustin was in charge the day of and he was much more accommodating.
