They kept us informed with our block every step of they way and they also have awesome incentives. My husband and I got a free honeymoon suite the night of our wedding because of the number of guests we had stay. We did not have a single guest say anything but compliments about their room and the accommodations during our wedding weekend. We had an amazing time: we loved the M lounge to catch up with our out of town guests, the staff was helpful and knowledgeable about local dining and delivery options, and assisted our guests in every way imaginable. On the morning of the wedding, the concierge confirmed with us our wedding reception location, guest shuttle services, and other details so that they could assist any of our wedding guests. By far our favorite part was the ability for online room block booking, this was the first time I had ever seen a room block with online booking, and our guests absolutely loved it! It was convenient for them and us as we were able to provide a direct link on our wedding website. In addition, as the bride, I was able to track which of our guests had booked a room at my own convenience. They were so accommodating with all our requests and made sure we were set up exactly how we needed them to be. They were wonderful interacting with our guests and made sure our guests stay (and our stay) was very warm and welcoming. Blocking off rooms with them was by far the best choice. Katelyn Kramer was very pleasant to work with in setting up our room block and with any questions that came up, including using the free shuttle service we earned (with minimum required room nights booked). We were able to upgrage our bride/groom suite to a bi-level suite and the view and room was amazing. My planner had nothing but positive things to say about all the concierge desk people- I still can't believe all the things they did to help! For example, a friend from Hawaii who was unable to make the wedding had shipped us 2 lei's-- to the wrong address on 7th street.. The concierge desk guy, Bob, actually tracked down our missing lei's a couple of buildings down (we had no idea they were even missing) and was able to deliver them to us at our reception before the night was over! Also, we got to meet members of the Detroit Lions at the hotel bar after our reception who were staying on the same floor as we were! Great experience all around. Reviewed on 11-06-2012
