Minnesota Valley Country Club was the perfect venue for my husband and I to get married and we couldnât have been happier with our experience. Patricia went above and beyond for us through every step in planning our wedding day. She was so helpful in answering our many questions, accommodated any requests we had, and was incredibly organized. We received so many compliments about the food from MVCC, it was all delicious! Cynthia who was with us on our day even made sure to set aside a plate of appetizers for my husband and I at our table knowing that we wouldâve been too busy to enjoy any during the cocktail hour. Every part of our day at MVCC went smoothly, we couldnât recommend them enough!

Minnesota Valley Country Club was the perfect venue for my husband and I to get married and we couldnât have been happier with our experience. Patricia went above and beyond for us through every step in planning our wedding day. She was so helpful in answering our many questions, accommodated any requests we had, and was incredibly organized. We received so many compliments about the food from MVCC, it was all delicious! Cynthia who was with us on our day even made sure to set aside a plate of appetizers for my husband and I at our table knowing that we wouldâve been too busy to enjoy any during the cocktail hour. There was someone with us to take us to the bridge for an additional photo spot, the wait staff was kind and quick with ours and our guestsâ food, and they even saved us a couple snacks from cocktail hour!Turning over the room - we were so thankful for the team both pre-setting up the venue to help our family, and cleanly taking down all decorations in the same day.The care and attention given to the venue grounds were incredible. We were blown away at some of the recent building updates and the grounds were perfect as we took our pictures at the bridge. THE FOOD - we thoroughly enjoyed our food and heard from multiple people how they loved their food. The bride's uncle who smokes meat for his main hobby said that the beef was the best heâs ever had, 3 family members could not get enough of the meatballs, and another friend said the mushrooms were the best theyâve ever had in their life. Fabulous venue! Our daughterâs September 2023 wedding was beautiful and everything went smoothly. The wedding coordinator, Patricia and her staff, were very helpful throughout the entire process. The wedding itself was set outdoors and the flowers at the country club were a perfect backdrop. Several of the guests told us that the food was just outstanding, best ever. First and foremost this venue was in our price range. Patricia is amazing to work with. She very fast with responding back to anything. All you need is Patricia. No need to hire another day of coordinator. Patricia is always right there ready to get things done and help make the bride feel as comfortable as she can. Food is amazing! All my guests had nothing but great feedback! Staff was also very professional! Props to the gentleman at the bar working hard all day and night! He was also one of the topic the day after, nothing but great things! Everything was great!

First and foremost this venue was in our price range. Patricia is amazing to work with. She very fast with responding back to anything. All you need is Patricia. In my search for a venue I wanted somewhere that had indoor/outdoor options, could host the reception for 100+guests, and have great food. I want to say that the MVCC checked all my boxes, and when we first toured the place, we felt it was exactly what we were looking for.The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, and Patricia, the Director of Catering, was just the best - always making sure we had what we wanted and that everything went smoothly. It's a beautiful venue on its own, so I loved that I didn't have to worry as much about decorations. The food was amazing, and guests commented to me about the excellent service they experienced. It was a perfect day, and I am just so grateful I found the perfect place. THANK YOU!

We had originally planned our big 175 guest wedding reception here and then Covid hit. Patricia was SO awesome to work with and was extremely accommodating when we decided to downsize to just family and bridal party. We were not charged extra and payment was adjusted to fit our changed plans. The staff were wonderful and set up our room beautifully and cleaned it up for us. Patricia was very organized and always responded promptly. Her and her staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We also got many compliments on the food and had many guests say it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. Booking MVCC for our reception was one of the best decisions we made. If you're considering hosting your wedding and/or reception here, do it!

I canât say enough great things about MVCC! Patricia was incredible to work with, from the beginning to the end. We had 200 guests and they helped us make the venue feel intimate and exactly the way we envisioned. The food was incredible (highly recommend the filet with red wine reduction and the mushroom risotto) and the staff were so helpful. Our guests were commenting all night long about how smooth everything was run, the quality of service, and how much they enjoyed the food. Thank you Patricia and MVCC!

We just had the wedding reception for our daughter and son-in-law last weekend at Minnesota Valley. EVERYONE in attendance loved the event! The food and elegant setting were remarkable. They make even the smallest things special, including the home-made-smiley-face-potatoes for the kids! Even better than those are the staff, who are kind, helpful and truly gracious. They made everything look so easy, which I know it isn't. Exceptional facility, exceptional food, exceptional location, exceptional staff-- what more could you want? I heartily recommend them!

Please give MVCC a look if you are looking to have a wedding in the twin cities area.Minnesota valley county club and it's staff made our wedding night such an amazing and memorable occasion. After meeting with Patricia Mullen and the rest of the planning group for a tour we knew this was the right location for us. Patricia's responsiveness was well above par and her expertise in setting up the location and how to flow through the night made our end of the preparation easy and removed SOOOOO much stress from the location side of the planning. I can't even state how beautiful the views of this location are either there are so many fantastic locations for photos on the grounds and we had so many compliments on the views and scenery from guest. To top this off the Chef (Who's name I've very sadly forgotten) prepared what is quite simply the best food I've ever had at a wedding and our guest continued telling us this for literally weeks after the big day was over. The staff themselves were also constantly on the ball I personally never ran out of a drink and they were readily attending to needs I didn't even think to worry about until they brought them up they were ahead of the curve and due to this we and our guest left the night happy without a single complaint.

I am so pleased with everything the MVCC had to offer. Patricia, the event coordinator, made planning so easy. She offered advice when asked, returned emails at all hours of the evening, and added little touches that made the day special. The food was fantastic and the personnel were so helpful and kind. The venue was beautiful - everything we could have hoped for for our wedding reception!! Patricia, the Catering and Event Director, was terrific to work with! She was extremely responsive, accommodating, and reliable. She answered questions promptly (and at all hours) and fulfilled all of our special requests. We had asked Patricia check with the Head Chef if it would be possible to custom make an Asian-cuisine dish that wasn't on the menu, and the chef whipped up this amazing Bronzini fish and sticky rice dish that was delicious! The service, food and setup was all wonderful - definitely exceeded our expectations! We were also able to get in the day before to decorate, so we didn't have scramble the day of. When we got to the venue, everything was already set up and ready to go - it was stunning! Rick, the head bartender, and Cynthia, the Banquet Manager, were very helpful and accommodating the night of. Overall, I would highly recommend Minnesota Valley Country Club for a wedding reception or any kind of event!

We had asked Patricia check with the Head Chef if it would be possible to custom make an Asian-cuisine dish that wasn't on the menu, and the chef whipped up this amazing Bronzini fish and sticky rice dish that was delicious! The service, food and setup was all wonderful - definitely exceeded our expectations! We were also able to get in the day before to decorate, so we didn't have scramble the day of. When we got to the venue, everything was already set up and ready to go - it was stunning! Rick, the head bartender, and Cynthia, the Banquet Manager, were very helpful and accommodating the night of. Overall, I would highly recommend Minnesota Valley Country Club for a wedding reception or any kind of event!

Patricia at Minnesota Valley Country Club was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was very helpful, attentive and quick to respond. She definitely went above and beyond to ensure that the wedding day was perfect. The food was delicious and we got several compliments on taste as well as the fact that the whole table got served at one time not just the people who ordered the same dinner option. Choosing this venue for the reception was by far the best decision we made! I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We went to take a tour of this venue. It is very outdated. The dance floor(not mobile) is tucked in a corner to where my DJ/MC would not be able to even be noticed by half the guests. No outdoor ceremony area and no one in the wedding is allowed outside for pictures other than the bridal party on the bridge for photos. The lady who was to help us did not seemed thrilled to have us, rushed us and we did not get a very welcomed feeling at all. I wouldn't end up booking this venue even if I liked the space due to the interaction with employees.

The venue was not only beautiful but it was extremely helpful. The Banquet planner and manager were there the whole evening. What an amazing venue! So elegant and classic! I knew the first time we visited the venue that it was going to be the one. Great space with an awesome view of the green course. Our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were all done here!\r\rPatricia, the Event Coordinator, is very friendly and great at helping. She was very responsive and followed up with us promptly. She was clear on the service and catering choices.\r \rLet me say that everything we had for our tasting was exceptionally phenomenal. It was so hard to pick from all the food we tasted, but we did finally pick :). Everyone who selected filet mignon complimented how the filet was perfectly and evenly cooked (medium rare) all across the tables. The walleye and the French cut chicken are amazing. All the appetizers are so tasty and delicious.\r\rCynthia and the banquet staff were friendly and so organized. \r\rWe could not be happier than this. They exceeded our expectations! This is probably the best value of quality/service and price that we looked at out of over a dozen venues.\r\rWe highly recommend MVCC to anyone looking for a classy, elegant, and phenomenal venue.

We had our wedding here in August of 2012. Our wedding here was beautiful. The floor to ceiling windows are gorgeous, and in some of our pictures, we actually look like we're outside while sitting at our table.It's a great deal, and the room is huge! The food was pretty good, although we were a little disappointed that the chicken penne pasta didn't taste as good at the wedding as it did during the tasting. Everything else was just as good though. Something to watch out for is if you need your hand held during the process, don't pick this site. The catering manager, who is also the person you work with to figure out all the logistics of using the reception area, rushed us through a lot of things. To get an idea, the first meeting I had with her, she talked so fast that I only understood half of what she said. If you are ok with asking a lot of questions and being persistent, then I think the deal you get here is worth it, but if not, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

We had our reception at Minnesota Valley, and it was the perfect choice. The food was excellent, the staff was organized and helpful, and the views were incredible. We were allowed to take pictures outside on their golf course, and they are some of my very favorites from the day. Everything went perfectly, and we had so many positive comments about our venue. Patricia is so easy to work with, and makes the planning process painless. It was also more affordable than some of the other places we looked into, which is a bonus!

MVCC did a wonderful job from the first moment I met with the event planner on staff. She was there for my every need, and offered suggestions when I asked. The day of, the wait and bar staff were phenomenal. It was like they weren't even there, but we had everything we needed, at the same time. This all came at an extremely reasonable rate - ceremony AND reception!
