Your celebration will take place outdoors, overlooking tranquil ocean views, in the venue's own climate-controlled event tent. The tent can accommodate 200 seated guests, allowing you to host the wedding banquet of your dreams at Misselwood. Misselwood was a beautiful venue for my wedding. The grounds are spectacular and designed for a super smooth wedding flow. It ended up raining on our wedding day so we used the indoor spaces more than anticipated, and those were beautiful too. The tent held up to the weather and kept everyone nice and dry. Our day-of coordinator, Kelsey, was incredibly helpful and responsive through the whole process (I didn't work with a planner). I'm so happy I chose Misselwood for my big day and would recommend it to anyone.

Misselwood was an amazing choice for our wedding venue. If you want an outdoor summer wedding in Boston, without the stress of weather (the tent is climate controlled!) you cannot go wrong with Misselwood. The staff is kind, attentive, and have thought of everything you could need to make your day go smoothly. Getting ready in the house was perfect for me and my friends - tons of space and rooms for everyone to spread out in. The water views for the ceremony are stunning. Our guests loved being able to walk around the property for some cool air or to get a break from the music. We actually couldn't get everyone seated for dinner because everyone was taking in the views! The only downside is that we had to clear everything out the night of the wedding, so you do need to plan for enough cars for that. But the staff helped with boxing everything up, so it's not too big of a deal. Overall, we had a great experience with Misselwood and would choose it again.

We had a small wedding at Misselwood in August 2022. The venue is beautiful! However the day-of staff were inexperienced and disappointing, and added avoidable stress to our wedding day. First, they did a poor job managing guests who arrived early, ignoring the day-of timeline, and repeatedly asking the bride what they should do while she was still getting dressed. They should have been able to refer to the timeline and manage the situation themselves. Instead, the Maid of Honor had to go out and ask the early guests to please wait in the courtyard. The first look, which was planned to be outside, had to be inside as a result of Misselwood staff's inability to manage the situation. Second, about 30 minutes before the ceremony, there was a small boat anchored just off the back lawn, maybe 20 feet from where the ceremony was to occur. The people on said boat were having fun and blasting music. When a member of our group flagged this issue to the Misselwood team, they advised us that they could not do anything about it. Granted, I understand that Misselwood does not own the Atlantic Ocean, and that the boat was not doing anything wrong -- but to think that the team would not make ANY efforts whatsoever to kindly ask the boat to move, given that we were moments away from a wedding ceremony, is outrageous. Instead, the groom, his sister, and the bride's brother had to wave to the boat and call out to them to ask them to move. Another situation that we were forced to manage, because Misselwood staff were either unwilling or unable to do so.Lastly, we understood in advance that the team needed to package up all of our decor for us to take it home at the end of the evening. That said, the way they went about doing this was, quite simply, gruff and unprofessional. There were people throwing things into boxes, packing things up right next to guests, and taking things down as they were still in use, etc. -- and we were still quite a ways from the event end time. While I concede that it would be somewhat tricky to pull this off seamlessly, I am certain that there was a more tasteful way of going about it. This cheapened the experience of our guests.We did share this feedback directly with Misselwood's Events Director, who said that she would take it under advisement -- but we wanted to warn others about our experience.

Their advice on outside vendors for items they couldn't supply were well informed and all of the people we were in touch with were extremely professional and performed well. Their recommendations on process were spot on and made the event seamless.The venue itself is spectacular, being on the ocean, the beautiful historic house, and great grounds. The rockstar Misselwood team who we worked with over the course of our 2 year engagement, guided us through the ups and downs of the pandemic in a professional, optimistic and genuine way. They, the other support staff and the grounds themselves, made our wedding day this past October absolutely unforgettable. We and our guests were in awe of the natural beauty of the estate and the responsiveness of the staff. Can't say enough positive things about Misselwood!

I promise you'll get the most beautiful wedding photos of all time. All of our guests we awed! But not only is it beautiful but the staff is incredibly supportive, organized and helpful. Special shoutout to Claudine, Jamie & Katelyn who helped us so much in the lead up to the big day. Even through COVID, they were sure to keep us updated on the latest requirements, shared options and helped us organize our arrangements to keep our guests safe. I ended up renting the house for extra time to get ready day of which I also cannot recommend enough! It was great to spend the day with my bridesmaids and have extra time to enjoy the view of the harbor and the house.

From the moment we arrived for our tour, I knew that no other venue would compare.Misselwood's ocean views are absolutely stunning. My guests could not stop telling us how beautiful everything was and taking photos by the ocean all night. The staff was attentive and patient and made sure the wedding day was seamless and that we didn't have to worry about anything.We also booked the Misselwood house for the bridal party that morning. They gave us a great breakfast and lunch, complete with champagne, and we were able to do hair and makeup right on site without any stress. It was definitely worth the added cost.I honestly could not imagine our wedding day taking place anywhere else, and I hope someone I know decides to get married at Misselwood someday so that I can go back and experience it all again.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! Claudine booked us back in 2018 for what was supposed to be a 2020 wedding and she made the transition to 2021 absolutely seamless. Jamie was such a calming presence to have in the months leading up to and day of the wedding and we LOVES working with her. Molly and Hallie were absolutely amazing the day of. The food and beverage was delicious and the catering team worked with us on some custom appetizers which were amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Misselwood!

Jamie was such a calming presence to have in the months leading up to and day of the wedding and we LOVES working with her. Molly and Hallie were absolutely amazing the day of. Omg we love Misselwood! It was a dream to have our wedding there. Katy was our day of event coordinator and she was so amazing to work with. She checked in with us at the perfect times and made sure we had everything we needed. Claudine was also so responsive and made us feel at ease when planning the wedding during a pandemic. We were so fortunate to have a beautiful evening weather wise so the tent could stay open to make our guests feel comfortable. The tent is gorgeous as are the grounds and we had so many guests compliment us on the venue choice. It was truly the wedding of my dreams thanks to Misselwood.

We could not have been happier with our experience at Misselwood! Katy was our event manager and was simply outstanding. She really nailed all of the little details and took really good care of the bride, groom, parents, and bridal party on the wedding day. She really helped our night run smoothly and made us feel special. We decided to have our cocktail hour on the lawn by the ocean because we were married in a church. Our cocktail hour was spectacular and Misselwood set up a bar on the back patio. Seeing our friends and family fill the patio and lawn while taking pictures by the ocean is unforgetable for us. Our reception was stunning, we had bistro lights and drapery by DesignLight and used Vinwood Caterers. Both were absolutely fabulous! Everything went super smooth (thanks to Katy) with not a single issue. We received SO many compliments on the venue and how gorgeous it was. The grounds were perfectly maintained and there were some flowers added around the property that I hadn’t seen before. We had a truly magical night thanks to Misselwood, they made it feel like a dream! We cannot recommend this venue enough, we absolutely LOVED it!

She really helped our night run smoothly and made us feel special. We decided to have our cocktail hour on the lawn by the ocean because we were married in a church. Our cocktail hour was spectacular and Misselwood set up a bar on the back patio. Seeing our friends and family fill the patio and lawn while taking pictures by the ocean is unforgetable for us. Our reception was stunning, we had bistro lights and drapery by DesignLight and used Vinwood Caterers. Both were absolutely fabulous! Everything went super smooth (thanks to Katy) with not a single issue. We received SO many compliments on the venue and how gorgeous it was. The grounds were perfectly maintained and there were some flowers added around the property that I hadn’t seen before. We had a truly magical night thanks to Misselwood, they made it feel like a dream! We cannot recommend this venue enough, we absolutely LOVED it!

Misselwood exceeded our expectations in every possible way for our wedding. Claudine was amazing at helping us plan every little detail and answering all of our questions we emailed her what felt like everyday! The day of, Darren and Katelyn made sure all of our stuff was set up exactly as we wanted for the ceremony and reception including centerpieces, table cards, etc. It unexpectedly rained for a few minutes during the first look/before the ceremony, and they went above and beyond to wipe down every single ceremony chair so our guests would be comfortable. They coordinated our ceremony so that everything was timed perfectly. We booked the hospitality room (extra $) for one of the bridal parties to get hair and make up done, and the provided food and champagne was a phenomenal touch. The reception also went very smoothly. All of our vendors worked together and I couldn't have asked for things to go better. Food came out at the same time for everyone, and bar service was moving quickly for everyone. The different scenery and views on the property made for the best photo ops ever!!! I seriously could not have imagined the planning or the day of going any better- can't recommend this venue enough!

I am so happy we chose Misselwood as our wedding venue! Everything about it was perfection! The location is just so beautiful. Working with Claudine and Katelyn was an absolute pleasure! They are very professional, but also just great, nice people that genuinely care about your big day and make sure all the little details are taken care of! The grounds at Misselwood are breathtaking-the views, the pretty tent, the patio for cocktail hour...the amount of space you have is incredible, and we loved having our wedding at a place where no other events were going on, so it feels very intimate and private. And then there is the food! Our friends and family were raving about it a week later. My husband and I both come from the restaurant industry so food at our wedding was important. We went with Fireside Catering and it was amazing! Not your typical wedding food. They were also so great to work with. I would honestly recommend Misselwood to anyone planning a wedding. We had so much fun dancing the night away with our loved ones in that magical tent (that can really be transformed in so many ways). Truly an amazing wedding venue!

It's a true hidden gem on the North Shore.The wedding coordinators did an excellent job from the very first time we met for planning all the way through to the big day.I highly recommend MIsselwood for your wedding. It was the only venue we saw, we fell in love and we booked that day. It is truly a hidden gem. Claudine was helpful and knowledgeable, providing many tips and advice to us from the tour to the final planning appointment. The Misselwood Estate was the most beautiful venue I could have ever dreamed of having our lovely October wedding. The staff on hand is professional, timely, informative, agile, experienced and overall such a pleasure to work with! They offer a bi-yearly expo onsite for brides and grooms who've booked the venue to meet their preferred vendors. It is unbelievably helpful to taste the different catering companies, meet with different musicians, florists, light design companies etc. (all who have experience with The Misselwood Estate) prior to booking vendors. The estate and grounds are breathtaking. The ceremony takes place on the grass behind the estate with panoramic views of the ocean. Guests continuously remarked how serene it was to hear the waves gently hitting the rocks during our ceremony. Then guests head to the reception down a set of stairs enclosed in tall bushes adorned with lights, where the incredible year round tent is situated. I loved that the tent was hidden from view during the ceremony. It was like an added element of surprise for our guests. I can not recommend The Misselwood Estate enough. From start to finish Claudine, Alexandra, Mark, Kaitlin and the entire team made our wedding planning and execution simply perfect. My husband and I recently got married at Misselwood, and let me tell you- it was PERFECT! We happened to get the perfect day, and it was magical. The ceremony looked out onto the ocean, and we got to hang out in the manor itself for about a half hour before the ceremony started. Walking out from the manor to the lawn that overlooks the ocean was so special! Once the ceremony was over, everyone proceeded down to the standing tent that you have the opportunity to make look however you want. Our vision for pretty, romantic, and simple definitely came to life. There is even a little area with steps where the trees make a bit of a canopy, and it's adorned with little lights that at night makes you feel like you're in a movie. Everything went so smoothly thanks to the efforts of Claudine leading up to the day, and Dan and Jamie the day of. Everyone was so nice and informative. They're all experts at their craft, and it was so helpful for someone like me who had never been involved in any wedding planning of any sort up until her own! It's two weeks later and everyone is still talking about how beautiful Misselwood was. It's a gem!

The venue itself is perfect - a ceremony overlooking the ocean, the perfect backdrop for beautiful photos, and a tent that can be transformed into whatever you desire. From the moment we stepped foot on the Misselwood lawn we knew this was the place we wanted to be married and we are so happy that we found it. Not only was the venue itself to die for, but the staff (Claudine, Dan, and Katy) made the entire wedding planning process and day-of go off without a hitch. We got married at Misselwood in June, and had both our ceremony and reception there. Choosing a venue is one of the biggest decisions when it comes to wedding planning, especially in terms of cost, so we toured many venues before deciding on Misselwood. While we saw some potential drawbacks at first (house is for getting ready and backdrop only, not as part of the venue; in case of rain everything is held inside tent; cost is a little pricey), at the end of the day we just could not beat that view. It is really breathtaking when you look out over the lawn to the ocean. \r\rThe team (mostly Claudine) worked with us on every detail, and their depth of experience was a huge plus. All the little questions I had (how will people know how I'd all the little details arranged inside the tent, etc) were anticipated and taken care of. We felt like we were in great hands leading up to the day, and especially after the rehearsal. \r\rOn our wedding day, it poured until right before our 4pm start...the staff was flexible in making the last minute call so we could wipe off the chairs and keep the ceremony out on the lawn--HUGE relief! My husband and I did not have to worry about a thing during the event, and couldn't believe how smoothly everything went. If there were any glitches, we certainly didn't know about them. It was the first time there for almost all of our guests, and they could not stop raving about the view and the grounds.\r\rOne upgrade we were glad we made was swapping the white chairs in the tent for gold chivari chairs...with the tent being so large and white, this along with flowers and colored linens helped warm up the space a little bit. We looked into lighting, etc but it was too pricey for our budget. We decided the ocean backdrop was good enough, and our DJ was kind enough to bring some lighting along as well. \r\rWe are so happy with out decision to get married at Misselwood. We have such great memories from that day, and owe a lot of that to the venue and the Misselwod team!

Misselwood exceeded our expectations! My husband and I were married on their spacious lawn overlooking the ocean and danced the night away in their gorgeous tent (chandeliers, french doors, wooden dance floor and all)! We could not have asked for a more beautiful location for our wedding. The wedding planning staff was also very helpful and knowledgeable, and they were there for us every step of the way. This little gem was just perfect for us and our 130 guests! This was the first and only wedding venue we scouted... The moment we saw it, we knew it was exactly where we wanted to tie the knot!

Misselwood made it easy from the very beginning working back and forth with Donna to the very end having Darrin by our sides all evening, they took care to make the whole experience go smoothly and really helped us to have the wedding of our dreams. The tent, the house, the grounds, it's all just magical and an absolutely perfect place for your wedding. We had our ceremony off site, but the reception was just a blast and all of the guests loved every aspect of it. We could not have chosen a better place to suite our tastes and recommend anyone who is looking to choose Misselwood to help them make their dream wedding come true!

I can't say enough about how highly we think of Misselwood! We had our wedding here July 18, 2014. The ceremony which overlooked the ocean was just perfect! Our wedding coordinator Claudine made sure everything was covered. Darren and Emily, who were with us the day of our wedding helped to ensure the evening ran smoothly. All three were simply incredible and did everything possible to make sure every detail of our wedding was perfect. I was stress-free and knew I had absolutely nothing to worry about on our big day. I am a very detail oriented and picky bride and so when I got engaged, I went all over New England to find a venue that was exactly as I dreamed. Misselwood is it. You literally look out on to the ocean as you get married. The views are unreal. It is absolutely beautiful and the service provided is incredible. I worked directly with Donna and she helped with every little detail and answered my many emails immediately. She was always able to make an anxious bride feel completely at ease. I have guests that are still commenting that this is the most wonderful venue thay have ever been to. I highly recommend Misswelwood as a wedding venue. You will have the wedding of your dreams, with stunning photos, amazing service, and memories to last a lifetime!

If you are looking for the perfect ocean front wedding in New England, your searching can stop here! Misslewood is the perfect venue to get married at and celebrate at! The backdrop of your wedding is amazing and the smallest touches are needed for your ceremony. The beauty is in the venue itself! Boats pass by, there is a small beach located on the side of the venue and the landscaping is amazing! Your reception is only steps away to a beautiful and classy tent with a nice floor that has pretty hints of colored sea glass with an elegant touch of chandeliers. The detail doesn't stop there! Located on the other side of the tent is a very nice patio and grass area your guests can check out. They will have the time of their life there, just like you! Every question and need I had was addressed with this venue and their staff. It all went over with such ease. There are no complaints from this bride! One of my best friends is also getting married here. This venue is a must see or use if you love the beauty of nature alone and love the feel of an indoor outdoor sort of place. You have to bring in your own caterer, but Misslewood provides three you will need to pick from. This is certainly a perk because you have a choice in who you want to use and can check these vendors out at one of Misslewoods open houses.

My husband and I met at Endicott College. Our dream was to have our wedding at one of Endicott's venues. We chose Misselwood because of its elegance and charm. We had such amazing memories from our college years and knew that this venue would be the perfect fit for us. We loved the scenery and the way that the tent overlooked the ocean. Everyone at Misselwood, especially Claudine and Darren, were extremely helpful and listened carefully to our wants and needs. Claudine was instrumental in planning the wedding reception of our dreams and Darren orchestrated the perfect evening for us. At the reception, Darren was exceptionally attentive, professional and his attention to detail was impeccable. We loved working with him! All of my guests were blown away by the beauty of Misselwood and have said it was the best wedding reception they've ever attended. I would highly recommend this venue!

She and our other vendors (many recommended by Misselwood) gave us confidence that every detail would come together on our wedding day and they delivered. The ceremony space on the lawn, overlooking the ocean is absolutely stunning! The tent where the reception is held is one of a kind. I have never heard of a tent equipped with both AC and heat. No matter the weather, Misselwood has you covered! I would 100 percent recommend Misselwood for a wedding. We loved every second of ours!

Misselwood is an extremely beautiful venue with accomadating and professional staff. I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding.

After searching up and down the New England coast, from Beverly, to the Cape, to Newport, RI we choose Misselwood to host our wedding and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision. The staff at Misselwood was awesome. It has to be one of the nicest locations on the North Shore to have a wedding at. Our guest could not stop talking about how amazing the views are, and commented that it was the nicest wedding they’ve ever been too. The Misselwood staff went above and beyond what I expected from the all the pre-planning, special requests, and execution that day. If you are looking to get married on the North Shore you NEED to put this venue on your list.

My husband and I recently had our wedding at Misselwood and it was absolutely fabulous. I loved having the ceremony right on the ocean, and the tent for the reception was perfect. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and worked hard to make our day as memorable as possible. I would absolutely recommend Misselwood to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and worked hard to make our day as memorable as possible. I would absolutely recommend Misselwood to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

Misselwood was the most breathtaking venue for our September wedding. Their staff went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding was exactly what we wanted. Donna, our coordinator, and her team were so responsive and helpful throughout the entire wedding process.\r\rMisselwood is an incredibly unique venue that is perfect for brides who want to have a memorable wedding. Because their tent is essentially a blank slate, you can choose whatever linen/flower combinations you want. \r\rPeople were SO impressed by our wedding (the food, the music, etc), that people were writing US thank you notes the day after the wedding.\r\rWe had actually looked at Newport initially, but were turned off by the insane pricetags. Misselwood offered an even more beautiful oceanview setting with a better bang for your buck. Wonderful experience!!

Amazing location. We were married on the grounds overlooking the ocean and our reception was held in the tent on the grounds of the estate. Everyone was professional and made our wedding day truely perfect. Beyond our expectations!

We could not have asked for a better experience for our wedding than Misselwood. The venue is beyond beautiful, and the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient. It was more expensive than some other venues we looked at, but well worth it!

We had the most perfect day at Misselwood! The entire staff there is amazing! Claudine helped us throughout our wedding planning process. We couldn't have asked for anything better! All of our guests were blown away by the location, service, food and the view!

Misselwood was amazing. The scenery and facilities were perfect. Everyone was amazing to work with and ensured that we had a perfect wedding day. The wedding ran smoothly and we have been told over and over again by our guests that it was one of the nicest weddings they have been to. If Misselwood fits within your budget, I don’t think there is a better venue in Massachusetts at this price, book it!

We had planned to have our ceremony and wedding reception at Misselwood on August 27th. This was the weekend that hurricane Irene decided to hit! The staff at Misselwood made what could have been a awful experience into a beautiful day!! With all the changes that had to be made last minute and all the extra work that went into making sure that our wedding day would still be a success was unbelievable. The entire staff was amazing! \r\rDonna was my contact person and Dustin was there the night of the wedding to make sure that everything went off without a hitch. Donna was always available to answer any questions I had during the planning process and was always super friendly. I cant say enough about how amazing Dustin was the night of the wedding. \r\rThe grounds at Misselwood are breath taking and even though we weren’t able to enjoy the views due to the storm I would recommend this venue for anyone planning a wedding. My guests are still commenting on how wonderful the day was. \r\rThank you Misselwood for everything you did for us that day!

Exceptional service, gourmet food and gorgeous views make this an ideal location to be wed. The ocean view is unbeatable, the manor house is classic New England, and the tented reception allows you to dress it up for a formal affair or keep it casual for a beach theme. Misselwood provided everything I could ask for and, two years later, our guests are still telling us what an amazing time they had. The staff, particularly Donna and Dustin, worked tirelessly planning our day and executing it flawlessly. My only suggestion is to be sure and book a videographer; you'll want to relive your perfect wedding day over and over!

I recently was married at Misselwood and I could not have been happier with my experience. Obviously the venue is gorgeous, but I was so impressed with their staff as well. During the planning process all of my questions were answered quickly by the amazing Donna and I was relieved of any of my concerns (and she didn't even judge me for being a crazy bride every now and again!).\rI was initially concerned that Donna, who I had been working so closely with, was not going to be there the night of the wedding, but those concerns were completely unwarranted because Dustin, the person who was there the night of the wedding was amazing. He was always available if we had any questions and made the night run flawlessly!\rAny bride that is looking for a beautiful venue, with an incredible staff should look no further!

We are so happy with our decision to go with Misselwood for our ceremony and reception. One look at the site and view and its hard to pass up this opportunity. During the entire planning process, Donna was very responsive to our questions and provided much advise. The day-of staff was amazingly professional and helpful to set up the event exactly as we envisioned. Every detail about the venue is considered from the hard floor in the tent, temperature control, location of kitchen and bathrooms and impeccable cleanliness. Our guests will never forget this amazing venue.
