Lauren was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of perfect! Our guests also had an amazing time and enjoyed all the things to do on site. I cannot rave enough about how great Mission Inn was for our wedding! The resort style stay made it extremely easy for family to get together and spend time with each other all weekend instead of booking separate hotels. The weather was perfect and the golf lovers in our group loved playing the courses before the wedding! We even had a huge scramble with the guests. Paige was extremely responsive and helped us out for months leading up to the wedding. We could not have done it without her. We had multiple events on site including a welcome party, reception, ceremony, and after party! Shuttles were provided and transportation was easy. The guests would not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was. If youâre looking for the âold Floridaâ feel, the Mission Inn is perfect! I recently got married at the Mission Inn on Friday May 19th and it was nothing short but incredible! Paige Swanberg was incredible! Paige was always very responsive and if she didn't have an answer to a question we had for her, she always sought one out and did a great job with follow-ups! While the Mission Inn's facilities may be slightly dated, their team did an incredible job transforming every space we had reserved during our wedding weekend. The big selling point for my wife and I was the ability for our guests to stay on property after the wedding. Wow - Did this pay off! We had such an incredible time during the reception, but we ended up pouring over into La Margarita that became a bar where our guests could purchase their own drinks. Our guests definitely stayed in that bar until close. The day of our rehearsal dinner, the men played golf. Paige was incredible and she was able to reserve us 3 tee times at a discounted rate! The course was incredible! The greens are wildly fast gentlemen. While we were golfing the ladies took advantage of a little spa day. After our separate activities, the entire wedding party met at the pool for a little get together and we pretty much took over the entire pool deck because this was a Thursday afternoon, so there were not too many other guests around during this time. Unfortunately, because this was a Thursday afternoon with lower occupancy rates, they did not have a bartender by the pool while we were hanging out before the rehearsal dinner. We were originally looking at another venue nearby, and then my now husband mentioned the Mission Inn, just right across the street. He used to golf there with his grandfather when he was younger. We decided to take a tour, after struggling with finding a venue. We met Jessica, and we fell in love! She showed us the multiple venues that are available for weddings, and we chose the Legends Courtyard. A secluded, quiet, gorgeous spot overlooking the golf course. Not only did we find the perfect wedding venue, we found the best wedding planning team! The all-inclusive package made wedding planning so smooth, and made our decisions much easier. Paige was our event manager, and she made sure we were happy with all aspects of our special day. She was very responsive, organized, and so kind to us. Sheâs got a busy job, but she made us feel like we were her only couple. And on the day of, she checked in on us throughout the day, and all through the night to make sure we were satisfied. We were able to do everything at the resort, which was so convenient. Kerry and Jessica helped us set up a welcome dinner, spa bachelorette party, bachelor game room, hotel stays, rehearsal dinner, and a guest golf tournament as well as the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Nelson, the Food and Drink Director, worked with us the entire weekend to make sure we had all the treats we desired! We would highly recommend the All-Inclusive Package to anyone considering Mission Inn as their wedding location. It was so convenient and easy because they did all the contracting with the vendors. So much was included in this package which saved us a lot of stress! Kerry and Jessica were such great resources every step of the way! None of them felt right until we drove onto Mission Innâs property. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating. We fell in love with La Hacienda and Plaza de las Palmas but always dreamed of an oak tree for our ceremony. Jessica made sure that dream came true. Our ceremony was a bit off the beaten path and could not have been more perfect for us. Kerry was our catering manager and she went above and beyond for us. She answered any and all questions and helped guide us every step of the way. I canât say enough how thankful we are for her. Our wedding felt like a fairytale and all the little details were flawless. If there were hiccups, I was blissfully unaware of them because of how well managed everything was. We loved that our guests could stay on property when our reception went on into the night and we loved even more that we could do the same. Mission Innâs team made sure we had champagne, food, and cake waiting for us in our room with a surprise gift to end the perfect night. Sarah F(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-07-2021 In July 2021, we had a brunch wedding at Mission Inn. Kerry and Jessica were incredible in planning, coordinating, and organizing our wedding. Kerry was with us every step of the way and made sure our wedding day was special - from planning, to rehearsal, to the day itself. In less than 30 minutes we were able to transform our outdoor ceremony into an indoor affair with the help of Kerry and her Mission Inn Staff (due to weather). The resort was able to comfortably accommodate both our families, and everyone was impressed with the hotel accommodations and amenities (including golf). Let me say this - having a brunch wedding was in no way less elegant nor fun as an evening wedding. The food and drinks for our cocktail hour and brunch reception were incredible. Guests were able to enjoy the day together, eat and drink their fill, and then head home safely. After all the fun, we were able to clean up, pack away our things, and head to our honeymoon suite for a well-deserved nap. Reviewed on 28-06-2022

We worked directly with Kerry, who was fantastic. She was so kind and helped us in everyway that she could and kept us on track. We had the rehearsal dinner at Marina Del Ray. It was before for an evening dinner and very spacious. They provided shuttles to and from the venue for our quests. We had our wedding in the plaza and it was beautiful. The reception in La Hacienda was also a dream. We had 55 people and they staged it perfectly for our smaller wedding. The food was sour of this world! Every guest was obsessed with the beef and brandy cream sauce. Also, we had a medical issue with a guest during the reception and the staff handled it with efficiency and kindness. The hotel rooms on site are perfect, as we had mostly our of town guests and the many options for restaurants is wonderful. I would 100% recommend looking to have your wedding here! My mother suggested we have a look at the venue, as it was nearby another one we were touring. We really weren't thinking we'd end up choosing a golf resort as our venue, but they blew everyone else out of the water. They had many venue locations for us to look at and ended up falling in love with the Courtyard area at Legends. We were blown away by their packages and offers; it was the best of what we had seen offered out of all the other venues in Central FL we had looked at. We had also gone in December and were given a Black Friday deal where they provided the DJ. We booked in December 2019 for a March 2021 wedding. Of course, Covid had other plans, and we ended up deciding to push back our date to 2022. They were extremely helpful in getting us rebooked, it was fairly painless. We mainly worked with Helen R. She was fantastic! She saw to all of our needs and she made sure all of our questions and concerns were addressed. She was very communicative with us and gave us brilliant suggestions of vendors when we ended up having to move the date (as some of our previously selected vendors were not available on the new date). Helen really spent a lot of time going over the details of our wedding and making sure we were happy with the arrangements. We were hesitant to book a place that was going to provide the catering without having tried some of the food. We looked up other reviews about the Mission Inn and in nearly all of them; I mentioned that the food was great, so that won us over. So here's another review to attest to that! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! We absolutely loved the food for our rehearsal dinner and for our reception! I am looking forward to being able to eat there for our future anniversaries! We enjoyed our honeymoon suite and our wedding guests said they liked their rooms. We really enjoyed relaxing by the pool. Our stay was overall really pleasant. My advice would be if you end up booking, have your guest book rooms EARLY for your wedding date!Each vendor we booked made comments about how they enjoyed working with the Mission Inn; almost like it was a relief to them we had booked Mission Inn for our venue. So that was comforting to know that as we were planning everything. Sure enough, there were no issues between the Mission Inn and our other vendors. The Mission Inn is -very- good at managing their weddings. While checking in the day before our wedding, I overheard a conversation where one of the staff informed a guest that there were SEVEN weddings happening that weekend. I was a little worried when I heard that, but really it was all fine; I saw hints that other weddings were going on, but never did I feel like I was sharing space with another bride, nor did our parties overlap at all. I can confidently say, based on our experience, that booking with the Mission Inn is a solid decision. It's going to make your planning so much easier and you will have a fantastic day. Everything from the locations offered, the amazing staff, the food, the all-inclusive package, and the desire to make us feel as if we were the most important people to them during the planning process. It was absolutely wonderful! Kerry Bosela was our planning point of reference, and we just canât say enough wonderful things about her. She is cool, calm, organized, and just who you need by your side on your special day. Her communication with us was superb! The all-inclusive package really narrowed down for us who we wanted to be a part of our day. It was nice to have top of the line options for all of the necessary components of a wedding/reception. As far as the venue, I couldnât believe we were still in Florida! Itâs a beautiful historic, Mediterranean feel with romantic vibes everywhere you turn. It was literally dreamy. We had to contend with winter storm Izzy on the day of our wedding, and werenât sure we would even be able to have our wedding outside. Kerry walked through other indoor options with us up until the very last possible minute just in case changes were needed. Thankfully, Izzy blew over, and our fairytale continued! In two years we had to cancel 5 times at several locations due to covid restrictions, travels bans, etc. I actually had cancelled everything when I called Mission Inn on a whim to see if they could accommodate the day we wanted. They could, and not only that they had an all-inclusive package that allowed us to easily plan everything in less than 2 months! In just a short amount of time, the Mission Inn and the vendors that I chose through them put everything together seamlessly for me. I actually ended up liking the venue more than the original venue that I had to cancel. It is an absolutely gorgeous place to have a wedding (unfortunately for us it rained for our ceremony so we had to move inside), with three different locations to choose from. The rooms where we got ready were SPECTACULAR- especially for the men! The food and restaurant staff were incredible. The vendors were some of the best in the industry. Not only that, but they give the couple two free nights at the resort and a really sweet surprise in the room after the wedding (I don't want to give it away so I won't say!). Even though I was pretty down about the weather that night, I can honestly say that Mission Inn exceeded my expectations, and I was very happy that everything worked out the way it did so I could have my wedding there. Helen and Haley were awesome and so helpful. I kept changing details at the last minute, and Helen worked hard to accommodate everything. We had toured quite a few places already and really hadn't found anything that would work for our large guest count. Jessica took the time to get to know us and our story, showed us all around the property, and answered our endless list of questions. The venue is so beautiful and huge! They had lots of options for ceremony and reception spaces for all different guests counts. Plus it is a resort, so all of our out of town guests had a place to spend the weekend comfortably. We decided to sign a contract for April 4, 2020. We worked with Helen Ronchetti, our assigned catering manager at the Mission Inn over the next year. She was very accommodating and made everything very easy, even though we lived out of state! She even helped us schedule our menu tasting/planning meeting while we were visiting for the holidays.Just 3 weeks prior to our wedding, we had to reschedule due to COVID. Luckily, Jessica quickly helped us find a new date, October 17, 2020. She transferred everything exactly how it was to the new date, without any issues or complaints. We ended up having significantly less guests than we originally planned for but the Mission Inn was able to work with us so all of the money we paid wouldn't be wasted. The wedding weekend was absolutely flawless! We had our rehearsal dinner on Friday night at Legends. It was set up beautifully and executed smoothly by Nelson. He was so professional and friendly, we were glad to have him the next night at the reception! The food was delicious, the staff was amazing, and everyone had a great time! We continued the celebration at the La Margarita Lounge - our guests loved the outdoor patio area with fire pits. Our wedding day was spectacular. The entire day ran so smoothly and my husband and I didn't have to worry about a single thing. The ceremony was in Plaza de la Fontana and was the perfect backdrop. The cocktail hour was in Plaza de las Palmas, which basically looks like a garden and has market lighting strung throughout. We had our reception in the Grande Ballroom - which was decorated perfectly and looked so elegant. The staff was absolutely incredible. So many of our guests kept telling us how amazing the service was - all the servers, bartenders, and wedding team. They even made sure that my husband and I got to have some of our cocktail hour appetizers since we were away taking photos and that we always had cocktails. Our pictures turned out amazing - the property has so many wonderful and completely different places to take photos. It's definitely not your typical golf course/resort! Kerri Kiernan(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-10-2020 As I write this I am overcome with emotions of how special Jess, Bri, and the entire staff at Mission Inn Resort became to me and my family. I had originally chosen to visit Mission Inn because my parents wanted something closer to them in The Villages. I made a list of all of the venues in The Villages, Orlando, and other areas to visit and Mission Inn was added. I had always heard wonderful things about this location so I figured it could not hurt. We probably visited roughly 8 locations in The Villages before visiting Mission Inn. As soon as we entered the property we quickly realized how special it felt. You know the saying \"When you know you know\". Well after meeting Jess and visiting Legends it hit us! It was everything that we had imagined, and my parents could not agree more. That day I canceled all other venue visits I had scheduled. Jess was wonderful and answered all of my one million questions, you think I am exaggerating but I am not. I was as prepared as I could be because I was ready to make a decision that day and Jess graciously took her time answering every question in detail. She even had a welcome gift for me as a bride which was the first of any visit, it made me feel special right off the bat. Once we decided to book, unfortunately, that was what we thought would be the last of our interaction with Jess, but about a few months later we were elated to find out that she would be our catering manager! Then COVID hit, I can not even begin to describe the stress, but if you are reading this now you are also planning your wedding during a pandemic and understand. Jess was so wonderful. She helped relieve some of my stress and kept reminding me of how perfect the day will be despite it possibly looking a bit different than my original vision. She was a huge reason I didn't lose my mind during this pandemic. My husband is a chef so the food was extremely important to us. We had a specific vision of what we wanted our food to be, and they exceeded every expectation that we had. All of our guests have said it was the best wedding food they had ever had! Jess was with us through every step of the process and Chef Mark made sure our vision came to life! The day of the wedding was a dream! I know I keep saying it but Jess was amazing and made sure that we were stress-free on our day!  When you talk about someone going above and beyond, Jess and Bri take the cake! When my matron of honor was MIA to bustle my dress the team stepped up. My planner and Jess worked on bustling my dress, while Bri stood in front of me with a silver platter of appetizers to make sure I ate. I wish that photo was captured because it was a true behind the scenes moment. This is just a small example of how they made my husband and I feel like the most important people in the world. Every interaction I had with Mission Inn and their staff made me feel special. Above all else, they made sure we were safe and their staff made sure to work with extra precaution to keep our guests safe. Mission Inn is working extra hard to make sure they create wedding memories while following strict health guidelines. Not once did I feel unsafe or at risk during the entire weekend. If you are considering visiting DO IT! I guarantee you will not be disappointed with not only their professionalism but also with how you will feel after visiting Mission Inn Resort. From the very beginning, when even touring the property, Bri was very thorough and informative and gave us great tours of all three of the venues (yes, there are three to choose from). She is fantastic and made the booking process seamless. After we booked, we then got to work with Helen to plan every detail of the special day. Helen is a gem. She is so personable and so comforting, that even when I felt stressed or worried, she was there to calm me down and assure me that everything would work out. She gave her input and expertise when warranted, and helped accommodate every weird and special request I asked for. Even during Covid, she was able to make our food tasting a fun experience. Helen made coordination the day of a breeze, so that I really didn't have to worry about anything. I knew I was in good hands. All of my guests raved about the food. I know sometimes tastings can be much better than day of, but my day of food was just as good, if not better. And it really does help when you can tell guests there are rooms to stay in that night so they can let loose at your wedding at not have to worry about driving home.Really, Mission Inn is just a top notch venue of the highest quality with the greatest staff I could have asked for. The grounds are gorgeous, beautiful rolling hills and lush landscaping. It impeccable. It has a very European feel. My Future husband an I showed up without an appointment just to see this magnificent place. Here's the kicker (I am 70 and he is 77) this was not our first rodeo. Even though we wanted it to be special I just wasn't sure what I wanted. That all changed when we met Bri Mabais in Wedding sales. WOW this women really took care of us. Bri, was patient, understanding that we wanted something simple and elegant. With her guidance, an ability to listen an visualize our ideas with a few added an correct suggestions we knew we made the right choice. Bri stayed in contact with us or was reachable when I had a question. The day came. I can not believe how much time an effort Bri gave us. I was treated like it was a MIllion Dollar wedding for our very small wedding. The vendors she suggested were wonderful and she double checked everything. So if your looking you really need to take a look at Mission Inn for you wedding or any special day. I forgot to mention the Honeymoon Suite...just WOW! If you do I am sure you will be happy. I had to change my date last minute due to my mom becoming ill with cancer. They were fantastic working with such a short notice change and helped me plan my wedding in less than 4 months. Everything on the day off ran so smoothly I couldnât believe it. Jessica was great in the planning process, making sure everything I wanted was available; from serving my favorite meal of tacos during the rehearsal dinner, to making sure every liquor I loved was available for the reception, to a printed photo of me and my husband from the wedding night in our room waiting for us with cake when we got back after the reception .....everything was perfect. Our wedding plans had been derailed due to Covid-19 (We had planned for over a year to elope to CA but the state was went into lock down again) and the Mission Inn team soothed our spirits and surpassed our wildest dreams! In less than two weeks we had a mini honeymoon resort accommodations, mini ceremony, and epic bridal photo shoot with access to the grounds (they even offered a AC Van and golf cart to take us around the grounds for photos.) Naturally after we got engaged, it was the first place I booked to do a tour. We first met Jess and loved her about as much as we loved the resort. We chose the Marina location for our day cause it was so perfectly us. But honestly all locations were gorgeous and none would be a bad choice. We had the luck of being able to plan our wedding through the global pandemic and they were amazing throughout. Helen was our venue manager and she was absolutely wonderful, never missed a beat in ensuring we had the day we dreamed of and that we were happy. She was so responsive to emails and the ever changing factors of the pandemic. We got married on Sunday, but checked into the resort on Friday. My groom and his friends/family took advantage of the amazing golf courses, while I took advantage of the pool. This resort is so amazing. Everyone is so nice, welcoming and happy to give you your perfect happily ever after! The front desk was so helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and getting our welcome bags out (even our specialty ones). And if you can...ask for Mauricio as your banquet captain. We met him at our tasting, he was there during the day in our getting ready room, and I have never met a nicer man. Thank you to everyone at Mission Inn that gave us our perfect start for the rest of our lives, but especially Jess, Helen, Mauricio and everyone else. The Mission Inn Resort & Club offers more than just good service; it prides itself on genuine hospitality. This quality alone made the property an unparalleled value for our wedding, which we held at Marina Del Rey. Other features were just added perks, from the stunning, Old Florida scenery, to the simple touches such as fire pits outside La Hacienda that made for cozy pre- and post-dinner conversation \"nooks.\" Hats off to Shelby who did a stellar job as our wedding coordinator. We didn't hire a wedding planner (I wouldn't necessarily recommend that!); however, she kept our minds at ease because she is always on top of her ****, not to mention an absolute sweetheart. She made the process effortless and fun for us. Outside the wedding crew, we and our families -- who stayed through the weekend -- felt overwhelmingly pampered by the staff. Staff workers were happy, attentive, personable and fun. Thanks to Greg, Rebecca and everyone else who left a lasting impression that weekend. If we had to nitpick: The resort did feel a bit worn, and one of the rooms smelled musty, but none of this fazed us or any of our guests -- the service surpassed any minor fault. Between Bri and Kelsey, I was always able to keep in touch with any questions and know how things were progressing. Everything turned out amazing and we couldn't be happier. The resort was beautiful as well, we were able use the spa after our rehearsal while the guys hung out by the pool area drinking and playing games. It definitely felt like a nice mini vacation. As soon as we entered the resort for our tour, the staff was super polite and helpful! Jessica spent quite a bit of time talking with us about our big day, and we knew right away that this was the perfect place! Helen was our planner, and she was awesome! She was prompt in answering questions, and met with us on a few occasions to help me feel at ease about the big day! The wedding weekend was even more perfect than we could Have imagined! The grounds were absolutely breathtaking, and many of our guests commented on how beautiful of a venue we selected! Mission Inn also worked well for us, as I am from Michigan and had a lot of guests from out of town! We did a group tour with Jessica and had a amazing time meeting all their vendors. After the showcase, we couldnât stop thinking about the beautiful location and the amazing staff that we met that day... and the delicious hors dâoeuvres that we enjoyed while we were there. After comparing locations and staff, we couldnât imagine holding our ceremony in any other place with any other people. We then met Bri and our love for Mission Inn grew even more. Jessica and Bri are amazing ladies with remarkable attention to detail that made our entire planning process simple and stress free. We looked forward to meeting with them at all of the various wedding shows and intentionally hunted them down just to say hello. Bri-Ica made our wedding day and night, a night to remember. We received rave reviews from those who attended who also fell in love with the scenery, food, and service... but really those reviews belong to Mission Inn and their staff. Bri-Ica really out did themselves and we look forward to visiting the resort each month as our getaway from reality and reliving our âHappily Ever Afterâ. Everyone was super helpful and friendly every step of the way, particularly Helen who literally made the entire process so smooth and was able to answer every question and quell every concern we had. The venue itself is stunningly beautiful, and each of their ceremony locations are awesome and can appeal to any couple's style. We had our ceremony at the Plaza de la Fontana and it was so picturesque we didn't even bother with extra flowers or an arch or anything which saved us time and money, and the pictures turned out so great. A lot of our family and friends stayed at the resort for the weekend and the entire staff was so friendly and helpful to everyone, and the food was awesome too. We didn't leave the resort for all three days because everything you could need or want is right there. Our guests kept telling us all evening how great the venue was and what an incredible time they had. I truly cannot say enough how having our wedding at Mission Inn was one of the best decisions we made. They helped us to have our picture perfect wedding- and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the first phone call we had with Bri, before we even signed our contract, we knew that we made the right choice. During the entire planning process, Bri and Kelsey were always available and willing to answer any question I had, no matter how ridiculous, even if I asked the same question 8 different times. They worked with us and our budget to help us create our dream wedding- and they did not disappoint. The Marina turned out absolutely beautiful and our guests loved everything. Everyone had gone above and beyond for us to make our day perfect. Kelsey was a great partner and made sure that everything was executed the way we envisioned it. She worked with all of our vendors to help make the day as stress free for us as possible, and she was amazing. The catering staff, front desk team, and housekeepers also went above and beyond for us and helped make the entire weekend as perfect as it could be. Every little detail from the venue, to the grounds, the staff, our rooms and the service was perfect and we have heard nothing but good reviews from our guests about the quality of the food served at dinner and the hors d'oeuvres served during cocktail hour. The venue itself is also stunning, well-maintained, and very clean. The windows in the ballroom that look out over the golf course & the lake offer a stunning view as the sun sets. Jessica & Shelby were very helpful and organized during the planning and execution of our wedding ceremony/reception, and we would definitely recommend Mission Inn resort to anyone and everyone who is looking at this resort for their special day! 5 star service, 5 star scenery & 5 star accommodations. Helen, Nadine, Jessica, and the rest of the wedding crew were SO helpful throughout the whole planning process! We were planning from afar and they were quick to respond to all my emails and calls. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was exactly how we envisioned it! It looked more beautiful than I could have imagined! We didn't hire a coordinator because all of our vendors had done weddings at this venue before, so I was a little nervous about any hiccups that might happen. However, Helen and Jessica made sure the day went smoothly and were there every step of the way. It was truly a pleasure to work with them! In addition to the perfect wedding day itself, we also had our after party in the Margarita Lounge and Brunch in El Moro the next day--all of which were wonderful. Our guests had a great time and really loved the Mission Inn Resort as a place to stay for the weekend. The staff at the resort always had a smile on their face and always were available to help out! We first met Bri who was unbelievably amazing and assisted us with selecting the best wedding option for our budget and our style. She truly listened to what we wanted as a couple and never tried to up sell something. Mission Inn property is like out of a dream! Every wedding location was breathtaking including the waterfall on the main resort property! Mission Inn made it incredibly easy with the ceremony, reception, rehearsal and resort accommodations for our guests. Jessica M. was our wedding coordinator and if someone could be called perfect it would be Jessica M. She went above and beyond answering all of our crazy questions, walking us through the process when we met, assisting with every decision and decorating and making our reception location beautiful. She was there for every decision and assisted in more ways than we could have ever imagined. Jessica M. made our wedding perfect and take place without any problems. I could not have gotten through the wedding planning process without the help of Jessica M. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding than the one we got with Mission Inn, Bri and Jessica M.! We got married at the Marina Del Rey and it is a beautiful location with the water backdrop. Samantha Helgeson(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-10-2018 Marina Del Rey at Mission Inn Resort is worth every minute of the drive out from downtown Orlando. My husband wanted a ceremony by the water and I wanted an indoor reception because Floridaâs weather can be unpredictable. Marina Del Rey was the perfect blend because the picturesque lakefront property has an indoor hall with full glass walls facing the lake and market lights dangling from the ceiling. I will not go into detail about some of the challenges we faced leading up to our wedding day because in the end Jessica M made everything right. The food was delicious, the venue was beautiful, and we look back on our special day with only happiness. We are especially thankful for the leftover cake, champagne, and gift that Jessica had waiting for us in our hotel room when we returned from the reception. My only word of caution to future brides, do not book your nail services at the spa as my immediate family, bridesmaids and myself all left dissatisfied with the service we received. From our first visit, Jessica C. helped create the vision for our dream wedding. Marina del Rey for our Hindu ceremony was her suggestion and it made for a picturesque backdrop for the festive bright colors. The path made for a grand entrance for my groom on his horse for the baraat. Everyone raved about the amazing Indian food at lunch!I love that the venue offers multiple sites so our guests were able to experience different settings for each part of our wedding. Our traditional ceremony on the second day was at Plaza de la Fontana as the sun started setting. It's so beautiful we didn't need much ceremony decor. Cocktail hour in the Plaza de las Palmas courtyard was a selling point for my husband. He loved the market lights and wrought iron tables. Our reception was at La Hacienda and it was a unique and perfect room to offer an intimate feel to a wedding of over 130 guests. With most guests coming from out of town, it was definitely a a huge plus that everyone could stay in the same place. We were able to enjoy the resort and our spend time with our guests all weekend. Most importantly, Jessica M. was such a pleasure to work with through the entire process. She brought the vision of our dream wedding to life. They have several locales to choose from, but the Legends Courtyard with beautiful trees and greenery and a lovely fountain was my most favorite. The staff and events team, Jessica especially, went above and beyond for our event. We had very \"special circumstances\" that required delicate care and a few particular details, but they covered everything flawlessly. The service left nothing to be desired. Everyone showed they actually, genuinely, cared about making everything perfect for our perfect day. AND THE FOOD! SO GOOD! Working with Bri Marbais to book the wedding was great . She made the entire process so easy to understand and Helped the kids decide on exactly what they wanted. The wedding coordinator Jessica Maertchik was incredible to work with. We are a very detail orientated family and she help us figure out ever detail making the wedding just perfect. So many guest told us that this was the best wedding they have ever been to . I credit Jessica with making everything that day just perfect!!!The ceremony in the Plaza de la Fontana was just picture perfect..The cocktail hour and reception was also just wonderful , the setting was just perfect.Having a wedding at The Mission Inn when many of your guest will be coming from out of town was just wonderful. We had almost 70 guest staying there and everyone loved it especially those who play golf!!! If you are looking at having a wedding in central Florida I would highly recommend the Mission Inn !!!! But, before I share details of the amazing day, I like to first share our experience with both the Wedding Sales Manager, Jessica Castrejon and Nadine Haines, Catering Manger. Our first contact was with the wedding sales manager, Jessica; who greeted us with the most warmest smile and greeting. As she shared with us the specifics of the resort, it was clear she was a master of her role as the resort sales manager. She did an amazing job showing us the options where to have our ceremony and reception. She offered us recommendations of the various vendors that we would likely need for our special day, I.e. photographer, makeup artist, bridal shops. Once we made up our mind that our wedding choice would be the Mission Inn Resort, Jessica connected us to our Catering Manager, who would over see every detail of our wedding. Nadine, the Catering Manager, did an amazing job making sure our vision to our dream wedding would come to reality. We found the Mission Inn Resort to be competitively priced but the service was beyond our expectation - from the sales manager to the hotel front desk to the bellman; all were helpful and upbeat. Our guests all said they enjoyed their stay and the restaurant experience was outstanding. One of the advantages for our guests, was all the activities it offered to lengthen the guestsâ stay through out the weekend. We had family members play golf, teenagers signed up for Shoot & Skeet and of course the beautiful pool. We recommend this place for both wedding and ceremony because of their exceptional experience in pulling it all together with as little stress for the bride and groom. We loved the Spanish architecture and the feeling of being transported far away while only being 25 minutes from home. The Marina Del Rey was full of greenery and overlooked a grand lake. All of our guests were mesmerized with the scenery just as much as we were. Our wedding would not have been a success without the help of Jessica and her assistant Nadine. In the months leading up to the wedding, Jessica was helpful and responded quickly when we had any questions or concerns. She always had our best interest in mind. On wedding day, Jessica and Nadine took care of decor, vendor organization, and overall made sure that we were stress free. We enjoyed having them along during every part of the day. I believe we visited over 15 different venues before we decided on Mission Inn and I am glad we did, it was no doubt the best decision!! Mission is a unique place, and as a romantic bride, I fell in love with Plaza de La Fontana at the moment I stepped in, the stunning views, the Spanish architecture and the impeccable grounds got me sold on our first visit. The director of sales Bri Marbais showed us around ,she was incredibly knowledgeable, personable and attentive, she listened to all our â must to have itâ list and made sure it was all included in our contract. The communication was always good, professional and prompt. Along the way we meet our catering manager Jessica Maertchik and what a blessing it was to work with Jessica, she is amazing! My husband and I planned our entire wedding witch was very elaborated and full of details that were very important to us. Jessica was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, it didnât matter how crazy our requests were, she went out of her way to make sure everything was the way we wanted. During the process, we had issues with our first choice of florist and I started to panic, without hesitation Jessica offered to help find a reliable and reasonable priced vendor, within a few days she found me an amazing vendor that offered more than I was looking for!! Jessica always replied to our uncountable emails with great attitude and I cannot imagine going thru this process without her help. In the end our wedding was absolutely perfect and everything we expected, the food was delicious, the servers were helpful and the service was flawless. It was no doubt the best day of our lives!!! We were thrilled with our venue choice for our ceremony and reception sites & everything looked perfect the day of. Throughout our planning process we were provided three different wedding coordinators which was a little frustrating at times but the transitions always seemed to be flawless. This was probably just the luck of the draw for us but it still worried me. However, when we were assigned to work with Jessica, I was very happy. She responded to emails quickly and always answered all of the questions asked. Whenever I had any question I always felt comfortable emailing her or calling her if necessary. She was organized and responsive throughout the whole planning process. The day of our wedding it poured all day which I believe, unfortunately, threw a wrench into the planning and set-up process. Things seemed to be a bit more hectic than they should have been -- I was left with my bridesmaids to find my way to our first look location on our own. There were also a few things with setting up the reception/ceremony site that were not done as requested. Overall, we had a very good experience at Mission Inn and with Jessica. Our catering manager was Jessica, and she made our special day better than we could have imagined! Her constant communication from the day we signed the contract to the day of made the process and everything run very smooth. Jessica and her entire staff always remained professional, timely and respectful to everyone involved with our wedding. The venue is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for and is perfect for those looking for an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception location. It was also an added perk that the two were right next to each other so we didnât have to travel to the reception. The scenery makes for beautiful picture spots. The overall atmosphere of the resort is amazing. Our wedding guests cannot stop talking about the food we had on our buffet, everything was excellent. One of the perks of having our wedding there was 2 night in the honeymoon suite. That was an awesome addition, and the resort has a very modern but timeless feel to it which we both really enjoyed. Mission Inn Resort exceeded my expectation in everything- the beauty of its grounds, the knowledge of its staff, the quality of its service, and the elegance of the resortâs accommodations. Jessica, the venue coordinator, was wonderful to work with. She was very easy to communicate with and always put me at ease with any concerns. I lost count of friends & family who couldnât stop complimenting the venue and the room accommodations. Friends & family even enjoyed golfing and the skeet range. My husband and I are already looking forward to returning each year for our anniversary not only for the nostaglia but because the resort itself offers such beauty and elegance and all of the restaurants are delicious no matter the meal! Jessica our resort coordinator was amazing! She kept in touch with us every step of the way and was very helpful in answering all of our questions and willing to accommodate us in so many ways. We met quite a few staff members of the resort in our planning process and all of them were delightful. I would definitely recommend this resort! As for the food, the mushroom risotto is fantastic, we loved finding a box of it waiting for us in our hotel room along with some of our cake that we never had a chance to eat at the reception! Some of the appetizers werenât the same quality we remember from the first time we tried them unfortunately, but the buffet more than made up for it. The catering is provided by the resort which was a plus for us, one less thing to worry about, but could be a drawback if you are looking to really customize the food and bar menu or do it yourselves. They do not allow outside food and drinks so if this is important to you, mention it early on to see what they can do for you. Thank you mission inn for our perfect wedding day! We instantly fell in love with MI and the old Florida feel. We also loved that our guests could stay over, which was a huge selling point for us as we have lots of family from out of town and state. Once we booked our wedding date (about 14 months in advance since we wanted a long engagement), we had a not so great coordinator in the beginning who didnât seem to care BUT then a few months later we were blessed to get Karen as our coordinator. I was 100% thrilled to have someone so caring, generous and actually excited for our wedding! Honestly Karen made our experience absolutely perfect. From every detail she went over with me (numerous times, since Iâm so indecisive haha) to random wedding Wednesday emails. She always made me feel like a priority and not just another customer no matter how far or soon my wedding date was. I donât know what I would of done without Karen! She was so patient with my family and I during the stressful planning process :). It was so nice not having to stress the day of because she was able to help out with everything making sure we had everything we needed. She is the absolute sweetest person to work with! Danielle Hallinan(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-01-2018 Mission Inn was by far the most beautiful space we found for a wedding. Its no wonder we ended up there for our big day! I was told I was a very prepared bride, for I had 80% of the details planned a year before our wedding. For someone who knew exactly what I was looking for and was so prepared, I was quite nervous when our coordinator left for a âcareer changeâ 2 months before our wedding. This meant I had to wait to be assigned a new coordinator and schedule meetings to make sure the final details I already had planned out were still recorded. Mission Inn did a fabulous job finding us new coordinator within a week. There are a few things needing work, like reservations, billing and organization.The way they handled their billing was very confusing. We feel the explanation of taking payments could have been explained better instead of charging our card here and there with âpredictedâ charges. Communications were great! Both Amy and Karen were great about responding to e mail with in a weeksâ time. But be careful when calling, both the front desk and reservations had very unfriendly people answering the phones.We had blocked a number of rooms for the wedding party and our out of town guest. When my family tried to call to make reservations, they were told there were no rooms available for our wedding weekend. After speaking to Karen and the reservations manager the problem was taken care of within a matter of minutes. When we arrived for the wedding weekend, the bridal party as well as our family from out of town were split between 3 buildings. Your can imagine the luggage we had between everyone as well as wedding supplies. Mission Inn had a hard time communicating that they would take half of the guests to one building in a van and the other half to the other 2 buildings in another van. With the confusion it took us 2 hours to split the luggage and wedding supplies into our rooms and get settled in, a mere 1 hour before the wedding rehearsal when we arrived 3 hours in advanced. We had 10 boxes of wedding decor and supplies so you can imagine how hectic it was trenching through the resort when we were so separated. We were told someone would be available to help us bring these boxes down to the venue the day of the wedding. One gentlemen brought one box down and then disappeared. The wedding party, who were supposed to be getting ready, had to, again, trench through the resort, up and down stairs to deliver the boxes to our venue.Our ceremony was perfect! Our reverend had requested chairs for the wedding party at the last minute and Mission Inn prepared chairs with out a question. I also have to shout out the gardening staff! One of my bridemaids were allergic to Marigold flowers, I had asked if it was possible to remove some at least along the aisle we were walking down. The gardening staff removed ALL the marigold flowers and found beautiful replacements!Our reception turned out pretty great except Mission Inn had the heat on when it was a beautiful 60 degrees outside. Most of our guest spent most of the reception outside where it was cooler. Four different members of the wedding party, including the bride and groom, asked to turn the air down. Our wedding coordinator was at our reception for the first hour and then left, we never saw her again. The wait staff was phenomenal and the food was excellent. All in all we had a great wedding weekend at Mission Inn but they do have a few things to work out with their new staff. Reviewed on 25-02-2018
Ali Hammond(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-12-2017 I am so happy and proud to have chosen Mission Inn to host my wedding!! Mission Inn is a very unique and beautiful wedding venue. What I liked most about this venue is that we got to spend the entire wedding weekend onsite and no one had to drive anywhere, everything was in one location! We did our rehearsal dinner on Friday night at the Marina del Rey, the ceremony was in the Plaza de la Fontana, the reception was in La Hacienda, and a farewell brunch on Sunday. It was fabulous. I have received so many complements on how gorgeous the venue was and how much my guests enjoyed staying at the resort. With the wedding package, we had a day of coordinator from the venue that met with us throughout the wedding planning stages. Unfortunately she left her job at Mission Inn a week or two before my wedding. At first this made me very nervous as I loved her and she knew everything about my wedding and how I wanted it to go. Thankfully, the very sweet and amazing Karen took her place and stepped right up to the plate. She was nothing short of amazing! She was very accommodating and listened to me. She provided me with everything I wished for and more. My wedding included a few aspects that were different from the norm at Mission Inn. We did more of a casual party style reception which wasn't offered in their regular catalog. The staff at Mission Inn was very receptive to my wishes and created a customized menu for the stations that I requested. The food was outstanding! I was very thankful for this. It was a dream come true wedding! We had come across Mission Inn way back in June of 2016 due to the amazing reviews online and decided to visit the venue. The moment we walked out to the Plaza de la Fontana and saw that amazing view we knew that this had to be our venue and had to book it right away (even though we were a year and a half out!). Bri took us around the whole resort to all their different locations and gave us so much information we really had no questions at the end for which location we wanted to do and how soon could we book our date with them. Bri was amazing, so personable, nice and very accommodating to us at the first meeting and a multitude of times after that (even when our wedding day was already over too)! We were set up with Amy as our coordinator there at MIR and she was amazing too! She helped us every step of the way with anything planning wise with Mission Inn and picked out the most perfect champagne flutes for us to have at the reception, it was like she knew us so well! The cake box waiting for us in our honeymoon suite was an extra bonus! We had our ceremony at the Plaza de la Fontana location, cocktail hour at Plaza de la Palmas and our reception in La Hacienda and every single one of these locations were absolutely perfect for our day. La Hacienda was transformed into a completely different room. It truly was out fairytale wedding and we couldnât have been happier to have chosen Mission Inn to have our wedding at!! We had our wedding at the Plaza, and we were thrilled with the whole experience. We even had a birthday party by the pool for my husband's grandfather the next day, and we found that Mission Inn was a great place to celebrate for the whole weekend. Karen and the entire staff at Mission Inn exceeded expectations that I didn't even know I had! I think when it comes to a wedding venue like Mission Inn that includes catering, linens, etc. there are two separate phases that you can review-- one is the initial planning phase and the other is the actual event.From the very beginning, all of the planning was very smooth with Karen. She was always available when we needed to communicate. Since we were an out-of-state couple, sometimes our trips to Florida would be unexpected or last minute. Karen would go above and beyond to make herself available when we would say \"hey, we are in the area!\" She would never make it seem like it was an inconvenience. We were very satisfied with the planning stages: great communication, significant amount of control of the layout and an abundance of options to really make the space your own.In regards to the wedding day, this is where I was blown away. It is a day I will remember forever and I am by no means a romantic/sentimental type bride :) It's hard to put into words, but seeing everything come together, seeing all the work of Mission Inn and the different vendors come together was incredible. As a team they were able to put together a vision that was in my head that I never thought I communicated all that well (with so much planning being long distance and some last-minute). It's like they were able to read my mind and bring it to life! I think the part that I hold most dear will not only be the way that I felt, but the way our families felt. In that space, not only my husband and I made memories, but countless family members had their own moments that they will remember. After meeting with their team, we decided to get married there and we definitely made the right choice. Amy and Bri were so helpful through my whole wedding planning/process. The day of the wedding Amy, Bri and team helped set up the ballroom and it looked absolutely amazing. I honestly couldnât have pictured a more beautiful room. When I walked into the ballroom for the first time I was speechless. They really went above and beyond to make my day extra special from the ceremony, cocktail hour, to ballroom. The food was also great! After our tasting we knew our guests would love the food and sure enough they did. We received a lot of comments on how tasty the food selection was.One of the reasons we chose the Mission Inn, was because we had a lot of family coming from out of town and they could stay there. We got several compliments from our guests about how beautiful the resort was and how everyone there made it such a pleasure to stay. The bellman and front desk staff were amazing. The front desk lady was such a doll and the bellman helped load/unload our vehicles.Hands down best place to get married! With my busy schedule as a medical resident, I didn't think it would be possible to pull off a full-on wedding but thanks to Mission Inn, not only did we pull it off but it exceeded our expectations. Everyone is still raving about what a beautiful wedding and venue this was! Everything felt pretty easy, and our coordinator (Karen) and team was accommodating and efficient. They communicate clearly and always ensure to have open, reliable communication which saved us a lot of time and stress. The venues themselves are absolutely gorgeous, to the point that we did our engagement photos in one and our actual wedding in another because we didn't want to miss out on how beautiful the sites are. Additionally, we didn't spend much on actually decorating the venue because it is so beautiful and romantic it doesn't even need it. The Mission Inn team is also very resourceful, which saves a lot of time with planning. Not to mention their packages are great and the food/drink selection is absolutely delicious. When we first started our venue search we knew we wanted our wedding to be outdoors and Florida provides some beautiful landscapes but when we saw Mission Inn... Holy cow it took our breath away!!! The view was amazing and if that wasnt the icing on the cake the whole entire wedding team starting with Bri and ending with Karen. I was so very lucky to have Karen through the end of our wedding. What an amazing staff! The attention to detail, the care and concern and the fast response were amazing! We had one wedding guest with dietary resteictions and Mission Inn not only catered to their order, but as our guest shared it was the best meal they had in a while!!!! Our guests were able to stay entertained with the golf courses, pool, and restaurants. Our venue coordinator, Karen, and all of the staff were very helpful throughout the planning process and the day of. We were able to do a food tasting to determine which dishes we wanted on the buffet. On the same day, they brought in colored linens for me to decide which ones I wanted. Karen was very responsive to my emails, even when she was out of town. She always responded so quickly and was very helpful. Our rehearsal dinner and reception food was amazing. We wanted a small gathering of family and a select number of friends to share our day with us. We wanted this to be a family affair as we live in NJ and decided on FL due to the number of family members living in the area. We wanted to bring our wedding to them not bring them to our wedding.The staff at Mission Inn Resort helped us to make the decision in those early days just by being so attentive and understanding of what we were looking for on our wedding day. Every email and phone call was greatly detailed in all responses with no hesitation. We would receive replies day and night no matter how stupid or simple our questions may have been.On our wedding day things could not have gone smoother. It rained about 2 hours before our outdoor ceremony at Marina del Rey, however, by the time of the ceremony the rain had magically stopped. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful with the set-up and the venue hall at the Marina was set-up beautifully.The wait-staff was attentive to all guests no matter the age which ranged from 4 years old to 90 years old. Everyone was treated as family which coming from NJ is extremely important. Our venue coordinator, Karen, was an absolute delight. She is the coordinator everyone wants! She helped us along the way with all final details and ensured everything ran according to plan from morning to way after the night ended. She does not look at being a venue coordinator as a âjobâ but rather enjoys every aspect of your wedding.I would recommend for everyone to contact Mission Inn Resort for their wedding or any other gathering as the rooms are beautiful, there are things to do all hours of the day/night, and you have so many options! We planned our wedding while living in New York City, and every step of the process was so easy with the fabulous staff at Mission Inn. I grew up in the Orlando area and when we got engaged my lovely mother went looking at wedding venues and she absolutely fell in love the beauty and 'Old Florida' feel of the Mission Inn. Since we were unable to fly down, we used FaceTime to see the property and speak with Brie (who is wonderful!) and just knew that this was the place for us. It was so easy to plan from a distance with the staff at Mission Inn. Our coordinator, Karen, was an absolutely dream to work with and helped us with all of our rentals from linens and chargers to swagging the ballroom ceiling. Everything about our wedding day was flawlessly executed by the staff. Their professionalism and attention to detail was truly impressive and we didn't have to worry about a single detail on the day. It was wonderful to be able to just enjoy our special day without worrying about any of the details. I also have to mention that it was so wonderful to find a venue that is all inclusive. With the vast majority of our guests coming in from out of town, we really wanted to make sure that all of our events were in one location and that there would be plenty of activities and restaurants for our guests to enjoy throughout the weekend. Mission Inn absolutely fulfilled this dream and our guests are still talking about the beauty of the property, how friendly and accommodating the staff was, and how much fun they all had golfing, hitting the pool, and playing shuffle board. With so many reception venue options in our home of San Diego, my family [who live in Florida] stumbled upon this gem when looking for wedding sites on the east coast. I absolutely fell in love with it over FaceTime! We got married at the Marina Del Ray and it was absolutely beautiful! Its still on the resort but away from the main property so you feel so secluded. The staff was super professional, friendly and really made sure everyone was having a wonderful time. Amy helped us leading up to the wedding and day of and she is so sweet to work with! The only downside was the fire ban which was going on in May due to the drought in Florida we couldn't use the fire pit -- but we did come up with an option of placing some wood and lights over it to still make it look pretty. Again not the resorts fault they were adhering to the regulations going on at the time. Overall it was the perfect setting to our wedding and I can't say enough positive things about this resort it has it all--golf, tennis, pool, beautiful and scenic property you won't be disappointed! I was a little worried with planning something out of state and thinking there may be a few lines of miscommunication, especially since we went through 3 venue coordinators. Mission Inn exceeded my expectations and then some! Everyone was very professional and responsive. My questions were always answered within one or two business days. Our last venue coordinator was Jessica, and I was thoroughly impressed that after communicating with two other coordinators, nothing was missed when Jessica and I reviewed all the final details. Everything was executed perfectly! We got married at Marina Del Ray and it was perfect. The spot was very well manicured and had great upkeep. There also was not many bugs which we were really happy about! The food was outstanding and we heard from most of our guests that it was the best food they ever had. The wait staff and bartenders were very friendly. We also hosted our rehearsal dinner and had a small welcome reception at Plaza de las Palmas. Again, outstanding! My ONLY negative is PLEASE fix the AC in your van! We had to take a shuttle bus from the resort to Marina del Ray to do our rehearsal - the AC was broken and the driver told us it has been broken for a while with no intent to fix it. It was in the high 80's and 30 people in that bus - it was very HOT! But that is my only complaint! Everything else was fantastic!!!! Reviewed on 30-05-2017

We went to a number of different places that we thought we would love, but they turned out to be...terrible. After those failed attempts we decided to check out the Mission Inn and we fell in love! Not only was everything absolutely gorgeous, but the staff was amazing and great to work with! We worked with Amy the whole time and she was wonderful. She answered all of our questions quickly and was there every step of the way. Our ceremony was located at the Plaza de la Fontana, cocktail hour at Plaza de las Palmas, and reception at La Hacienda. Every single location was so perfect that we only felt the need to add minimal decor to the reception area. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful everything was! The hotel staff was wonderful as well, always helping out and running around for us whenever we needed assistance. Our guests were taken aback by the beauty of the marina and we were told by many that it was the most beautiful wedding venue they had ever seen. The food was top notch and many guests told us they had never had such good food at a wedding. Everything, from the initial email inquiring about their venue all the way through to the final billing, has been incredible. Bri and Rose were awesome during the planning process. They were both informative, professional, and easy to work with. They answered every question we had and were extremely accommodating. Working with Bri and Rose took a lot of stress off of this clueless bride and made the whole process so much more fun! Making our room reservations for our friends and family with Barbara and AnnMarie was a breeze, and Corey who helped with our audio setup was fantastic. The attentive bellmen and front desk staff, the banquet team, as well as Matt in their accounting department also all get rave reviews from us! Marina Del Ray was the perfect setting for the outdoor Florida wedding we wanted. We and our guests were impressed by every detail, and we could not be happier about our decision to have our wedding at Mission Innâs Marina Del Ray! When we first drove up to the marina a year ago, we knew instantly that it was the ONLY spot we wanted to get married, and we will be returning there regularly to visit and to relive our day on which we and our guests had such a wonderful time. Even though we lived in Florida and 30 minutes from the resort, Mission Inn provided us and our guests a destination wedding feel. It was the perfect venue to host our wedding weekend. Everything went so smoothly during our wedding weekend â our guests loved being on the property for the entire time. The staff and management were responsive to our needs and helped us to execute the vision that we had for our wedding! From the beginning, Mark was extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the sales process and beyond. He was transparent and professional during the sales process . Amy, was our venue coordinator and she was amazing. Amy made wedding planning at Mission Inn as easy as possible and always kept us on track of what we needed to accomplish with the venue. Whenever we had any questions, issues, wedding changes, she was always quick to respond and fix everything in a timely manner. She made sure we had a smooth, organized wedding weekend. All of the Mission Inn staff were friendly and accommodating to us and our guests throughout the weekend. If we needed an extra hand, access to a room, a place to store something, they were always willing to help us out. The venue was pristine on our wedding day: Plaza de la Fontana, Plaza de las Palmas, and the Grand Ballroom. We also had a welcome party at El Gitano, and a brunch at la Hacienda on Sunday, utilizing their weekly Sunday brunch. We were looking for a natural backdrop (surprisingly more difficult in Orlando than we had expected), reasonable prices, a great brunch menu, and of course a solid reputation for quality. We got all of that and so much more. My husband and I relocated to OH halfway through our engagement and we spent a lot of time working virtually with our coordinator, Amy, to ensure our big day went over well. We had a vision of creating a natural, elegant, and fairy tale like setting, and it was everything we had dreamed. Here's the one thing I know a lot of couples stress over - and that's the food. Will it be good? Will we pay a lot for sub par options? Didn't have to worry about that here. Mission Inn's food was AMAZING. Best catering I've ever had. Our guests remarked constantly to us how impressed they were. Time and time again I heard from brides that never had a chance to eat at their own reception. Mission Inn's first priority after we had our first dance and brunch began was to make sure we got fed! They catered to our every need and then some! You won't go wrong with choosing this venue. We then set up a consultation with Mark, which went excellent. We were so in love with Mission Inn and everything seemed like it would be 100% perfect through the 15 months of planning we spent with the Mission Inn team. Amy was our venue coordinator, and it seemed like she understood everything that was important to us and would keep our day flowing nicely. For the huge sum of money we paid, and for the experience we were promised for 15 months, we were very disappointed on the day of our wedding. I know it's not Mission Inn's fault that Hurricane Matthew came through the weekend before our big day, but they did not handle the rescheduling very well at all. There ended up being 3 weddings and a couple of corporate events all happening at the same time on our wedding day. We were at Legends, so we were separated from the rest of the hustle and bustle, which was nice. My husband was promised that he would have the pool room for the guy's get ready room. Amy decided that since we had a suite, she would give our promised pool room to a different groom. We found this out the morning of our wedding from the front desk. Our photographer had a very difficult time doing the get ready shots of the boys since the lighting was terrible to non-existant in our suite. The ceremony was beautiful at the Legends courtyard, guests enjoyed cocktail hour, and our reception was beautiful, all thanks to the beautiful Mission Inn grounds. Though, our guests did all say that the bartender was very light on the drinks (we paid extra for premium open bar for 5 hours, then consumption for the last hour). At the reception, we had a grand total of two servers for a 70 person plated dinner. My dad (and several others) didn't get a salad. We had 3 guests request ahead of time for a meat-free meal, which we told Amy about, and we found out later that those 3 guests were given the regular meal (with steak) and 3 other guests that had not pre-requested no meat were given those special meals.We had a beautiful wedding, and had an amazing reception, we just wish Mission Inn had handled our wedding in a more professional manner, especially for the price paid. My husband and I had 5 months to plan our wedding so we were very strict with our budget and criteria for a venue. We only looked at two places, but once I saw Mission Inn, I knew we had to get married there. My first contact was via phone with Mark and he was wonderful. My first tour was given by Bri and she was amazing, thorough, detailed, and very informative. We had everything secured within two weeks of my first visit. My venue coordinator was Rose, and she was extremely helpful and responsive. She had an unexpected trip to make two days before my wedding, but she made it back and everything went smoothly.2 nights in the honeymoon suite are provided with your package, as well as your choice of food and beverage (including alcohol) package. There are varying price ranges, and they will definitely work with you to stay within your desired budget.The bridal getting ready suite was to die for. It was large, well equipped and the perfect place for my bridesmaids and I to get beautiful.The ceremony site, cocktail hour, and reception were perfect. The food was delicious and the drinks were flowing. Many of my guests stayed on site and they really enjoyed the beautiful grounds.I cannot say enough about how great a place Mission Inn is to get married and how wonderful everyone is to work with!
