I loved the look and style of the art museum! The problem with this venue is that the staff turnover rate is high. During my two year wedding planning, we worked with four different venue planners and three different chefs/ menus. In the end my wedding was beautiful, but the planner took a vacation on my wedding day without telling me. I was upset with the poor communication, but my other vendors were on top of it enough for the wedding to go well.

We had our wedding reception there. A bit pricey but I loved the museum look. The staff was friendly and things went smoothly. The food wasn't the very best though.

We had our reception at the Mississippi Museum of Art and loved it! There were 400+ guests at the reception and there was plenty of food and room for everyone. It was August, so we had our band inside, but there was still space for guests to walk around and get away from the band if they wanted to. There is a beautiful garden outside with water features. The food was delicious and the set up encouraged people to explore the open galleries. All of the permanent exhibits are open to event guests!
