I can not say enough wonderful things about Walters Wedding Estates, especially Monroe Pearson. It was the most beautiful venue for our special day and most importantly the staff made sure everything was perfect for us and they truly went above and beyond. Thank you to Amanda for helping me plan my dream wedding (in THREE months!!!) and being the sweetest human being. She made sure she was a part of our special day until the very last moment and even signed up to serve that nightâŠ.and Iâm so thankful I got to experience all of that with her. Thank you to Tabitha for helping me make sure all of the final details were taken care of the day of the wedding and making sure I (the bride) didnât have a panic attack. Lol. And last but not least, Latecia you were THE best!! Thank you for being so organized at our rehearsal so that our ceremony could run so smoothly. Thank you for taking care of me all night because without you I think I would have lost it.đ you genuinely saved the day when we couldnât get my dress bussled and when wine was spilt on me and when I lost my drink! I can not say enough wonderful things about Walters Wedding Estates, especially Monroe Pearson. It was the most beautiful venue for our special day and most importantly the staff made sure everything was perfect for us and they truly went above and beyond. The venue was absolutely amazing, but what really made our wedding fantastic was our coordinator, Morgan Stover. She was on top of deadlines and making sure all of my vendors were doing their jobs. If sheâs youâre coordinator, then youâre in great hands!

We have been planning our wedding at Monroe Pearson and Hallie has made everything SO easy on us. Having almost all of our vendors through them has made the wedding planning process go so much smoother than I thought possible. The venue is exactly what we were looking for and has so much character. We can't wait to get married there soon!

Working with Madison as my wedding planner at the Monroe Pearson was an absolute dream come true! She was always available to answer any questions, to meet at the venue when I needed to and went above and beyond to make our special day totally unforgettable. From the first time I met her to the day of the wedding, every detail was covered and made the entire wedding planning experience incredible. Madisonâs detail-oriented and confident approach to wedding planning was exactly what I was looking for. She took every detail I gave her and assured me it was or would be taken care of. Her attention to detail and ability to help turn our vision into a reality was truly impressive, all while calming any nerves or stress I had. The day of the wedding was seamless thanks to Madisonâs hard work and dedication. We were able to relax and enjoy every moment knowing that everything was taken care of. Walking into the space and seeing how everything came together left me speechless. But, Madison also went above and beyond the role of a traditional wedding planner. She quickly became a friend that I knew I could count on. She even helped get my bouquet pin ready with the pictures of my grandparents because I ran out of time and was heartbroken it wouldnât be done - she immediately took it off my hands and got it done because she knew how important it was to me. She also jumped in and helped with our kiddos throughout the night who had grown to know and love her throughout the months of planning and meetings, giving them extra snuggles before we made our exit, and just made sure that everyone had the best time possible. Neither of these things is part of her job and are just a couple of examples of a very long list of things she did to make our experience personal and perfect. Itâs no surprise though, as this isnât just a job to her. She is passionate about creating your perfect day, whatever that looks like. She truly wants your day to be special and to be without stress as much as possible. She constantly went the extra mile throughout the entire process and there are truly not enough good words to say about her. Madison is a one-of-a-kind planner and a genuinely good person with an absolute heart of gold. The venue and vendors were amazing and perfect and was everything I had ever dreamed of, but without Madison, it wouldnât have been what it was. The experience she provides is hands down what makes this venue a 10/10. We wholeheartedly and highly recommend Madison with Monroe Pearson to anyone looking to create unforgettable memories that will last beyond their lifetime. Working with Madison as my wedding planner at the Monroe Pearson was an absolute dream come true! Such a lovely space with the vintage vibe I was hoping for. And the staff is so helpful and supportive. I was having a hard time imagining so many things, Madison Shields put my mind at ease every step of the way. She made wonderful suggestions and truly made our day memorable. And I REALLY appreciated not having to navigate so many vendors individually. I wanted a 1 stop shop for everything, Walter's Wedding Estates delivered. To anyone looking to book this venue please please read this review to fully understand what it is you will be booking. Itâs going to be long but I promise you, youâll want to know. Like everyone else I saw a couple bad reviews but most were great so I ignored them and that will be my biggest regret from me wedding. First off the venue is actually stunning which is why this is so disappointing to write. I also want to make it clear I am NO bridezilla all of our complaints are purely just the basic choices you make when working with a venue who only provides in house catering.When you reach out they will be very communicative and set up a meeting very quickly but once that contract is signed is when it will go downhill. Through out the entire planning process it will be very difficult for you to get consistent answers from anyone working this venue. At least for us, every-time we had a meeting at the venue we had a different person and each one said different information when we asked questions. When we would ask for clarification we would always be answered with âwe will check on that and get back to youâ which never happened.If you are told Crystal G will be your head coordinator, you will never see her even if you had a scheduled meeting with her specifically. We are convinced she doesnât exist. And for us this was our details meeting which is the most important final meeting to go over all the things you chose. We had a confirmed meeting and showed up the the venue and she wasnât there. No text no call nothing to let us know. Thankfully another woman named Christie was there to let us in and to run the meeting but it was difficult because she had no idea what was going on with our wedding. Once we got home we got an email from Crystal about some of the things we went over and never even acknowledged her being absent. Now letâs go over all the choices we made with the venue and how many things we received. We were told in every meeting we had that we could substitute the wine no problem at no extra charge we would just have to pick from a list the had. They never provided the wine list until the very last second after us asking about 5 times and then told it was a $2 charge per person for the substitutions. Luckily we complained that was never communicated and they didnât charge but the 2 wines we chose were then not the wines served at the wedding.We had asked the venue at every single meeting how do we play the music for the ceremony. Itâs a wedding venue so youâd think they could easily answer that. No. Not a single person could show us where you could hook up a phone, IF you could even hook up and phone or how. I was only told I need an aux adapter so I went out and bought 2 but that was wrong it was a very specific adapter. We didnât get that answer officially until my REHEARSAL which we then had to get some friends to go out and buy said specific adapter. Thank god I had some tech friends there to figure all that out for the venue since they knew nothing. Next we had 166 people at our wedding which is large and people want to come and drink so we needed to make sure we would have enough bartenders. Also that both sides of the bar would be open to guests. We clarified in every meeting we have a group of people who enjoy drinks so this was extremely important that it wouldnât be a problem. We were assured this wouldnât be an issue and all sides of the bar would be open.On the actual wedding day we only had 2 bartenders for 166 people and only one side of the bar open the entire time so there was consistently a long line to get drinks. Not to mention the bartenders were SO RUDE to everyone. We were told by half of our guests they didnât get any appetizers or even see them being passed around. So I imagine there was not enough staff to get to most of the guest and probably not enough appetizers.We paid for a late night snack to be passed around at 9 pm. They never passed them around they just set them on a back table and when I asked why Is there such a small amount they said they only provide about half with the assumption half the guests would leave by that point. We paid for our wedding guest count to all get a snack so if thatâs not the case that should have been specified in the contract. The bar also tried to shut down early because they said we started service early. The grooms men asked for some beers and if thatâs what they consider service starting early thatâs so incredibly ridiculous. Donât even get my started on how if I hadent hired my own wedding planner when Michael and I did our entrance we would have been locked out of the building because they have no one around to help you and no communication on those things being possible. So if you plan your entrance from the stairs make sure you have someone on the other end to let you in or youâll be locked out. There are probably about 20 more things I could go on and on about but I think this does a good job of letting you know that if you want to be stressed, never fully communicated with, have a venue with a staff who has no idea what the hell is going on and so disappointed then book this venue.

The team at Walters Wedding Estates are seriously incredible and wonderful humans to work with. As a bride, thereâs a lot of details to plan and factors to consider but I can honestly say that this team helped to alleviate the majority of my stress. People would always ask me, âoh how is wedding planning going?â and every time I could honestly say, âitâs really kinda easy! The venue staff is amazing and itâs full service so no hunting for vendors!â Amanda was my planning rep and deserves every award, raise, promotion, whatever her heart desires. I had a handful of things go wrong, outside photographer, change from church wedding to not, and every time I sent Amanda a panicked email she would response quickly, calm me down, and assure me that they could accommodate any change. She even set me up with the amazing photographer we used for our day! (Shoutout Emily Chappell). I seriously could not have planned such a perfect day without these people. Thank you for making us so special!!

I cannot say enough great things about this venue and the people who helped us with my daughter's wedding--and, I am going to try!To start, Amanda was our planning rep--and she was amazing! Jordan had one Zoom call with her before we met her at one of the Walter's Open Houses. Amanda recognized Jordan, remembered her fiancee's name and details about her wedding. Amanda was personable, supportive, fun and professional--she made the planning process simple and easy. We opted to use their vendors for DJ and Photography services. We were very happy with both. Our DJ, Kyle, was amazing. I would ask, \"What time are we supposed to...?\" He would answer, \"The schedule says, XX--and we will do whatever you want.\" Perfect answer for me--as I wanted to adhere to the plan--and I knew that if there was a wrinkle, he would be flexible. He also had the perfect balance of making comments when introducing someone or something--and keeping the music flowing throughout the night. Kyle was amazing. Our photographers were Abigail and Andrea--cannot wait to see their work! They captured everything we asked for--and were unobtrusive and present--like photo ninjas!! Geoffrey, Leticia and their teams were the best of the best. The food was incredible--my family and friends are still thanking me for a great meal! The servers were there when you needed something and worked hard to ensure that everyone had what they wanted. There was nothing missed--every detail was perfect! The bartender had a very busy night--our family loves an open bar--and he took great care of us. After my first trip to get a glass of wine, he just poured one for me when I showed up! My nephew said he did the same for him! That is a talent! Obviously, the venue is stunning--so many of our guests commented on how beautiful Monroe Pearson is. I cannot say enough great things about this venue and the people who helped us with my daughter's wedding--and, I am going to try!To start, Amanda was our planning rep--and she was amazing! Jordan had one Zoom call with her before we met her at one of the Walter's Open Houses. Amanda recognized Jordan, remembered her fiancee's name and details about her wedding. Amanda was personable, supportive, fun and professional--she made the planning process simple and easy. We opted to use their vendors for DJ and Photography services. We were very happy with both. Our DJ, Kyle, was amazing. I would ask, \"What time are we supposed to...?\" He would answer, \"The schedule says, XX--and we will do whatever you want.\" Perfect answer for me--as I wanted to adhere to the plan--and I knew that if there was a wrinkle, he would be flexible. He also had the perfect balance of making comments when introducing someone or something--and keeping the music flowing throughout the night. Kyle was amazing. Our photographers were Abigail and Andrea--cannot wait to see their work! They captured everything we asked for--and were unobtrusive and present--like photo ninjas!! Geoffrey, Leticia and their teams were the best of the best. The food was incredible--my family and friends are still thanking me for a great meal! The servers were there when you needed something and worked hard to ensure that everyone had what they wanted. There was nothing missed--every detail was perfect! Allie was my day-of coordinator and helped make everything run smoothly. She went above & beyond to accommodate any requests or answer questions I had! CJ helped me get everything ready via email prior to the event. I planned my wedding from New York and she always responded in a timely fashion with helpful responses. This venue was made for us, I swear. Itâs beautiful and unique. We used their catering and bar options and it was a huge weight off our shoulders, not to mention the bridal and grooms suites are honestly breathtaking. Both the ceremony and reception space are a gorgeous blank canvas to add your own decor and make it your own. The acoustics arenât the best in the ceremony space, so many of our guests had trouble hearing our vows, especially combined with the unfortunate timing of a passing train- but it is such a small issue!

The venue is absolutely beautiful. Very industrial and modern. But the communication and service was extremely disappointing. It was unbelievably difficult to ever get ahold of them. After calling 3 times and sending 3 emails, I once waited 7 days to get a response to a very simple question. This happened on multiple occasions. We also got feedback from our other venders (DJ and wedding planner) that they were rude and unhelpful. Iâm not one to leave bad reviews, but I want brides to understand the experience they offer. After spending over 5 grand, we hoped for at least a little more service and curtesy. Overall gorgeous venue, but definitely the biggest headache and disappointing part of the wedding planning process. If I could do it over, I would choose a different venue. I would not recommend this venue to a future bride.

Monroe Pearson was the very first venue we looked at and although it was still being built, Kalyn really sold us on the uniqueness of the space and what the finished product would look like. We went on to visit several other venues but could not get Monroe Pearson out of our heads. Choosing MP as our ceremony and reception space was the best decision that we could have made. The space itself is so unique and the little details are what really tie the venue together. Jesse was wonderful to work with as was the entire Monroe Pearson team. They made the planning process seamless and communication was always prompt and thorough. One of the best parts, and certainly most convenient things was that everything was provided in house (linens, chargers, chairs, glassware) so that we didnât have to work with yet another vendor to coordinate. We decided to use Milestone as our caterer because we knew the food was good and it was an added convenience. Our guests were so complimentary of the food and we still have guests that will bring it up (shout out the the Mac and cheese station and the chicken parm sliders). I only had two issues with the day and the first was that we didnât get an of our hor dâoeuvres during cocktail hour and there were not enough seats at the head table for my bridal party once we all sat down for dinner. Both of which Iâm sure would be accommodated by the Monroe Pearson team with communication beforehand and to be honest I forgot to ask about the hor dâoeurves ahead of time. Other than that, my day was so perfect, Jesse made sure of that! Thank you so much, Monroe Pearson! I could not have dreamt of a more perfect venue for my wedding! All of my love to you!

I loved working with the people at Monroe Pearson! They were with us every step of the way, and we got to be with them! We saw the venue before it was built, but the dream they said once it was completed sold us. Seeing itâs completion was really a special moment for us. Our wedding day was perfect, we would not wish anything else!

It was the very first venue we toured and all the others after just couldnât compare! The staff are so helpful and amazing. The venue is beautiful and it was absolutely perfect for the vision I had for my wedding day. Not too expensive but fancy looking enough to make you feel like a princess!

I had been searching for the perfect venue for my fiancĂ© and I to share our special day with for months and when I found the Monroe Pearson online I knew it would be great, but I was truly blown away with what Kalyn and the rest of the crew at Walters Wedding Estates have done with this building. Most venues around here are all the same- country/rustic etc.. which is beautiful, but it didnât feel right for us. This has all those elements but so much more with the perfect amount of Industrial touch. I am a born and raised Dentonite, so this was exactly what I had been dreaming of. It not only has a stunningly beautiful shell, but the decor they have chosen takes it to a whole new level. Kalyn has gone above and beyond for us to make sure we had the perfect day while staying within budget and we are so excited that she will be part of our day. I couldnât be more excited to say I Do in the Monroe Pearson in May 2018!!

Monroe Pearson is honestly one of a kind! I love that we get to see the venue getting built and we feel like we're part of it. Kalyn has done a phenomenon job of explaining what the venue will look like and her passion towards wedding really earned my trust for her. I can feel at peace knowing that she is so knowledgeable and her experiences will make my wedding planning so much smoother. I also love that this place has so many furnitures to make it like a home. Looking at the website does not show how awesome this place truly is! This venue is definitely different from any other ones in the metroplex.

I honestly did not think I would find the red brick, historical landmark of a dream venue I've imagined most of my life until I found the Monroe Pearson. Walters Wedding Estates have embraced the community's appreciation for the historic with their renovation of the Monroe. They have preserved the original brick that is throughout the entire venue, made original signage of the 100-year-old warehouse an amazing art piece, and truly embraced the vintage ambiance of the whole space with dĂ©cor. The changes they have made only enrich this gorgeous location. Giant skylights that bring in beautiful natural light, an outstanding bar set up, and phenomenal layout that will make any wedding look magical and run smoothly are just some enhancements to note. Plus, the bonus that is the venue director, Kalyn! Kalynâs genuine joy in being part of your wedding and excitement for your engagement is catching. Sheâs incredibly responsive, I must have request ten different versions of our proposal and she was always happy to write up a new one, and she makes the Monroe very accessible. I can drop by for inspiration and schedule same day tours of updates. Kalyn makes your experience with the Monroe very personal and makes you feel like her favorite client. Planning a wedding is very stressful and can easily become overwhelming. When Iâve gotten to this point Iâve simply called up Kalyn to visit the site and Iâm instantly relaxed and back to bring thrilled about my wedding! In short, if you want a flawless and unique wedding, book the Monroe Pearson!

My fiancé and I could not be more excited to get married at Monroe Pearson! Our wedding is memorial weekend and everything we were looking for we found in this venue. We wanted something different/unique from all the other wedding venues in Dallas (lots of barns and rustic venues) and we wanted a place with people we could trust since we are planning the wedding long distance. Kalyn, the venue coordinator, is the best!! She took several hours out of her day back-to-back days to talk to me and my fiancé and show our families around as well. From the exposed brick, Edison bulb chandeliers, and chic feel to the wonderful service from Kalyn we knew that Monroe Pearson was our dream venue! We can't wait to get married here!

Kalyn is absolutely amazing and went through and described what each room would look like. She is always available to answer questions or give advice and we are so lucky to work with someone that is so passionate about what they do. We are beyond excited to get married here next year and couldnât imagine tying the knot anywhere else!

My experience with Monroe Pearson has been beyond spectacular. I had looked at many venues and this one was the one I finally chose. The venue is such a beautiful blank slate and I loved the concept because it is something not commonly found in wedding venues. Of course it was a big leap with it not being done yet, but the staff is so caring and kind and personal! I mostly made the decision to book this place because I knew we were going to be taken care of by the staff here. We were one of the first to book this place and I am excited to go on this adventure with them! Would always recommend 100%
