Perfect under any circumstances! We chose Kahn’s and the Montage for our November 2020 micro wedding after their team impressed us with their COVID safety protocols and the variety of spaces that meant our wedding was able to transition in and outdoors seamlessly. With only a month to plan and in the middle of a pandemic, Jenny and Steven ensured that every detail was met and stayed flexible throughout the process. Their diligence about the health and safety of our guests and their employees meant we felt as safe as possible during an otherwise difficult time. And they blew us away with the quality of the food and service the day of the wedding! Even though we were just 14 people, Kahn’s and the Montage made our family feel special and important (even setting up a special room for me to get ready!) As a sign of the unparalleled customer service, Steven escorted my 92-year-old grandmother to my parent’s car at the end of the evening. With all the stress of planning a wedding during a pandemic, we never once questioned our decision to get married at the Montage! A beautiful facility with a caring and dedicated team that can handle any circumstance.

The Montage was amazing! The venue was great and was in a very nice area! The staff here was super nice and friendly! Our sales rep was Dean and he did an amazing job with event coordination. Patrick was our captain for the night and he did an excellent job making sure all background details and main details were going as planned.

This venue is gorgeous. If you have the option to hold it outside, please do. On the inside, each room has an elegant design, and the whole building elevates any ceremony or reception. Our representative was so patient and kind to us! She worked hard to make sure we had everything that we needed and that things were smooth running the day of. The food was also DELICIOUS! Our wedding was a morning brunch, and everything was fresh and delicious.

First, I would like to thank Steven, our event coordinator! He was respectful, professional, and detail oriented! Any questions we threw his way, he was punctual with answers but if he didn’t know the answer, he would find out for you! He played a huge part in our cultural portion of the wedding. He went above and beyond to make our chinese ceremony look beautiful by hanging our lanterns! This meant so much to us and especially our elders. It was such a beautiful venue with the best support and service! The food was phenomenal and our guests also mentioned the outstanding customer service given the entire day. The day came and went but the memories will forever stay in our hearts!Thank you again to Steven and the staff of the montage!

Jenny Oden is why my husband and I picked The Montage for our wedding! From the first time we met her, we knew we would be in good hands. Jenny was very patient, easy to work with, and offered us lots of advice. The venue was just what we wanted; ceremony outside, indoor/outdoor cocktail hour, with a large banquet room for the reception. The entire Kahn’s staff was very accommodating the day of the wedding and our guests absolutely loved the food and venue. All the appetizers and entrees were delicious, including our custom cake which was included in the price of the food. It was nice not having to look for another vendor for our cake. Our favorite thing about The Montage was the ability to have a fireworks show during our reception!!! I highly recommend The Montage to anyone who is planning their wedding!!

The Montage was perfect. Their service can't be beat. If you do not have a wedding planner, the Montage is a must! They took care of a lot of the setup and tear-down so that we didn't have to worry about it. We worked mostly with Jenny Oden, and even though I occasionally have trouble communicating what I wanted, she was as accommodating as possible. The Montage was so hassle-free and beautiful. If you are looking for an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception all in one place, I'm telling you, go with the Montage. Not to mention the cake was included in the price of the food, and with the caterer on site there was absolutely no trouble with last-minute meal changes either!

We worked with Jenny at the Montage (Kahn's). She was absolutely amazing! She worked with our other vendors to make everything perfect! Kahn's has suggested vendors that they have had good experiences with in the past, but no required vendors other than the catering/bar (Kahn's) and the cake. The cake was the best wedding cake ever! I only wish we had asked for double size pieces for the bride and groom! We had a few custom foods at dinner/cocktail hour that ended up delicious, as did all the rest of the food. They easily handled the food allergies and special dietary needs. Jenny and the team did all the set up, decoration, etc. We dropped off all decorations, favors, and programs the week ahead and had nothing to worry about the week of the wedding! They were accommodating when we had to move the time of the rehearsal to later than planned, even though they had another event going on at the time! The bridal party showed up before the ceremony to relax for a minute and we had a whole room and snacks and drinks. The team working during the dinner/reception was super helpful and on top of their game. They are very professional and everything went so smoothly! If there were any hiccups, neither of us knew anything about them! The only struggle we had was meeting our required food and beverage minimum with our number of guests (we had about 110 guests). But Jenny had some suggestions that turned out to be perfect: coffee and hot chocolate bar with mini desserts.

Jessi, our event coordinator, was knowledgeable and handled any questions, concerns, or needs in a professional, timely, and courteous manner. Jessi left no detail unturned, and the evening was flawless.\r\tThe staff at the Montage was professional and gave us outstanding service. All of our guests were treated as VIPs throughout the night. The food was delicious; Kahn’s Catering’s reputation stands firm. We had a wonderful selection of food choices when deciding the menu, and there was not a guest there that did not enjoy the meal.\r\tThe venue itself was perfect for our needs. Our guests could mingle throughout the three different rooms. They enjoyed the greenhouse patio area for cocktails and then made their way to the ballroom for dinner and dancing with ease. \r\tJessi and the entire Montage staff made our daughter’s special day a perfect event, one that we’ll never forget.\r\rThank you!

From the beginning I was impressed with the coordinators from The Montage. I worked with both Dawn and Jenny, who each made sure all details were covered so I didn't have to worry about missing any deadlines or last minute details the day of the event. My wedding was around 200, which was the perfect size to have the main ballroom filled but not uncomfortable and still be able to fit the dance floor. The food from Kahn's was delicious and the wait staff was unbelievable attentive but without being overbearing. Our reception went so smoothly without a hitch and Jenny made sure everything was ready when we got there. My husband and I were also looked after the entire evening and the staff made sure to save appetizers for us and reminded us to sit down to enjoy our dinner. The venue itself is a great setup for a wedding- there is outdoor space and a greenhouse area for the cocktail hour and a ballroom connected that guests could easily be transitioned to after the cocktail hour. Plus the patio spaces had couches and a great view of the lake for guests to take a breather during dancing. I would highly recommend this venue based on the quality of the food, the ease of planning with coordinators, the attentiveness of the staff, and the affordability compared to other venues. Our guests had a fabulous time!

Our daughter's wedding was held at the Montage in June. It was simply wonderful. So many commented and complimented us throughout the evening on the venue, the food and how beautiful everything looked. \r\rThe staff at The Montage were wonderful to work with. They took our ideas and suggestions and used them to create the perfect wedding.\r\rThe bride and groom were extremely pleased with the wedding. My daughter said it was the wedding she had hoped for. Thank you Montage for making it so wonderful.

Jenny at the Montage took care of everything! As a bride trying to plan a wedding that would take place 2 hours away, this was ideal. Including in our package was the food, bar, cake (gorgeous beyond my wildest expectations and delicious as well), rentals, and a team to run the event. Everything was perfect!

My mother actually chose the Montage being that she was in Indianapolis (My hubby and I are in Chicago) and knew of and trusted Kahn's Catering. The space was gorgeous. I was a little nervous walking in and seeing it bare, but when it was all set up it was DIVINE. We had our Ceremony in the Green House room and I don't know that I could have found a prettier space.\r\rWe initially worked with Freddie and she was awesome, but had to go on sick leave. Then things got hairy. Jennie hadn't spoken with Freddie at all about what was promised and/or already discussed. It became a bit of an issue. Things being OK'd by Freddie then Jennie said no or said it would be an extra charge. I asked about a particular bottle of wine and instead of giving me the price - like I asked - she just ordered it so when I wanted to order the Bogle brand instead she said \"well I already ordered the other one.\" I never told/asked her to do so. Same with Beers.\r\rI gave her a photo and sketch of what I wanted for my cake: simple scalloping with three fondant flowers two resting on the bottom layer, one on top. Day of the wedding? No flowers. Even though I'm pretty sure we still payed $10 a piece for them.\r\rNow none of these things RUINED our wedding. It's a beautiful space and we had a phenominal time. But it didn't make the pre-wedding time any easier with my mom freaking out two weeks prior.\r\rI would recommend the Montage, but if at all possible work with Freddie. Jennie just doesn't seem to be a \"people\" person.

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at The Montage. It is a stunning location and the food was exquisite. The wedding cake is still being talked about as is the menu. Most of our guests felt it was the best meal they have ever had at a wedding. Not too much, nor too little. Special kudos to Freddie and Jenny who worked so hard to pull our day off. My desire was to give 5 stars because everything had gone so well but the ending left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. We had some last minute cancellations so to meet our F&B minimum we added an extra layer to our cake that was supposed to be frozen so that we could enjoy it for our honeymoon. We also added a sweet table that was supposed to be brought out during the dancing so that guests could refresh themselves. The wedding cake was put in the fridge instead and since it contained fresh fruit it was spoiled by the time we were ready to pick it up. The sweet table was not brought out until almost all the guests were gone so almost all of it was thrown out. I simply hate to waste good food so I had to bring the service score down from 5 to 4. I would have gone to a 3 (I hate waste THAT much) but Jenny was so good that although our original wedding coordinator (Freddie) went down with a shattered ankle right before our wedding, Jenny and the culinary team pulled off 2 vegetarian meals on the fly as the information was lost in translation. I also have to say that Tony (our captain) was wonderful and handled our small wedding with charm and attentive (but not hovering) service. All in all our wedding was wonderful and I think that the last minute changes would have caused a lesser company to crumple under pressure so top marks for everything except the wasted food.

The view was just lovely - right on the water in Indianapolis. Location was perfect - close to lots of hotels. Perfect size ballroom, with cocktail area and space to conduct outside ceremonies.

The view was just lovely - right on the water in Indianapolis. Location was perfect - close to lots of hotels. Perfect size ballroom, with cocktail area and space to conduct outside ceremonies.

I am so glad to have my wedding at The Montage. They truely made my day the special day that I dreamed of. I have nothing but great service with my cordinator, Freddie. She made sure that everything was on track and even threw in some perks. Freddie worked with me, as an anxious bride, as I debated back and forth whether to move the ceremony inside for the looming rain that was supposed to come. We had our wedding outside in the garden and the view from the alter was gorgeous. The food was outstanding!!! My husband, who is hard to impress when it comes to food, was completely blown away. Everyone left stuffed to the max with how much food was there. We decided to do a station bar and had 3 different stations plus they did our wedding cake. The food was moist and tender. The turkey was so tender that I had a hard time picking it up with a fork. The wedding cake was the hit of the night. It turned out exactly like the picture that I gave them, with our colors. The cake was a marble cake with a rasberry filling and fresh rasberries between layers and a buttercreame frosting. Everything that night was perfect! I couldn't have asked for better service, exquisite food, and for a good price. Thank you for the best night a bride could ask for!
