Well from the start there was a lot of staff change. But everything worked out great. The accommodations they did for my wife and her girls were excellent it made my wife’s day easier on getting ready. The food was great! Thanks to chef. He also came out and checked to see if everything was up to par. Rooms were a tad small but time the reception is over it doesn’t matter anyways. Great food, staff good accommodations great, venue great, dj awesome!! all and all happy wife happy life!!

Well from the start there was a lot of staff change. But everything worked out great. We had a very tough time planning our wedding in the beginning but after going to The Holiday Inn to go over details we felt a lot better. The day of went pretty smooth as well and it ended up being the most perfect day of my life so far.

They were great to work. They responded within one day to any questions that we had, even on the weekends. Very affordable place, but was still a really nice venue. We did the entire wedding (ceremony, reception, dress, cake, etc.) for less than it would cost us to rent the venue at some other locations. Having discounted room rates for guests that traveled made it easier for long distance family to come at a more affordable rate as well.

We had an incredible experience having our wedding reception at the Holiday Inn South County. Kristin and the team were communicative and flexible and did all they could to make the day run seamlessly. The food was delicious and all of the guests had a great time. The bridal party had the added luxury of getting ready on site in the bridal suite which helped make everything stress free. Kristin even helped coordinate getting us a different hotel room for the night before the wedding so we could have two nights in the same room. I would highly recommend this location for any event.

The perfect place to have a reception for 275 guests. They were very willing to accomodate us. Kristen is amazing and was so patient and calm no matter how many times I changed the number of guests or the layout of the room. It also was extremely convenient to have access to the bridal salon all day. That's where we all got ready, and we were able to keep all of belongings in there until we came back for the reception. Not to mention they had a private bathroom for the bride and the bridal party. It was very nice to have that space to hide away as we were waiting to make our grand entrance as well. All of the staff were so delightful to work with and really treated you special. They didn't nickel and dime you if you borrowed extra tables or other items which is huge deal. They made planning very manageable and enjoyable.

You helped make this a very special event enjoyed by all of the bridal party and guests. From handing out the guest bags to ensuring all of the rooms were in great shape and attending to some last minute details, your team did a fantastic job. Doug was also very pleasant and easy to work with on the day of our wedding, he made sure all our needs were met. All the servers and bartenders were very pleasant as well. The bridal salon was the perfect place to have all my bridesmaids get together for hair and makeup. The reception went great and my guests enjoyed the food.

April and Alicia took amazing care of us from decorating, to room blocks, to special BBQ sauce... the list goes on and on! Plus, the food is fantastic! And, I am a very critical wedding guest when it comes to reception food- I hate the typical bland pasta and chicken. The food at our wedding resulted in endless comments and praise for days! Everything about our wedding was wonderful - except for the choice of this hotel. The decor is dated and the service in the restaurant was very slow. Wallpaper was coming off the wall in one of our relative's room. On the night before our wedding, some of our guests were enjoying themselves in the bar. The bar was packed with people. Abruptly, at about midnight, the bartender said there was a personal emergency and told everyone they had to leave. Overall, a bad experience. I do not recommend this hotel.

April made the booking for the reception smooth and very accommodating. The chef, Harry personally came and brought us our food, which was delicious!! Alicia was so helpful with booking rooms for my guests and making sure the food and beverage aspect was exactly what I wanted! And lastly a big thanks to Casey who made sure everything was perfect for my big day and was very flexible to meet up with to go over every little detail. Doug the banquet manager was on top of everything and made sure everything went smoothly. Chef Harry is awesome, great food and great to talk with.

I wanted to save money and did not hire a wedding planner and I felt so comfortable with that decision. The girls were so fast with responding to ALL my emails and questions I had. It truly was a dream come true night/event!!!

What a beautiful venue and wonderful staff. Super helpful and great to work with. Chef Harry, the food was amazing. We absolutely loved the venue and Casey and April were very helpful throughout the entire process. We were provided a bridal room that was perfect for our hair and makeup in the morning. We then used it at night when we got off the bus for all the bridal parties' items. The DJ came as a package deal along with a full bar. The only complaint we heard from guests was that the bar tenders were a bit rude and they ran out of water so we're giving some guests straight vodka. Overall the music was great, the staff was friendly and accommodating and we would love to attend another wedding here.

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception here and absolutely loved it. We were married in the Schober's Ballroom. We didn't have an aisle runner or arbor, but it was still absolutely beautiful. The hotel covers the chairs in white which really dresses the room up. We added bows to the chairs to give it a special touch. Audio equipment worked perfectly. Our reception was in the Grand Ballroom and I cannot explain how beautiful it truly is, especially set up. It was so nice to have the DJ included as well as a complimentary hotel room that night (depending on the package you choose). The food was fantastic, and I'm still getting compliments on that 3 weeks later. Every member of the staff was incredibly helpful and kind. I truly did not worry about a thing throughout the entire process. Kamber and April were absolutely wonderful and never hesitated to answer any of my 5,000 questions. The ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. All of it was within budget and absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this location for a ceremony and reception.

I cannot recommend the SOCO Holiday Inn enough! Camber, Cody & April are the best Event coordinators ever! I've had 2 wedding receptions here and the staff thinks of every detail. They also gave us some liberties as well as assisted with the decoration assembly and brought in ideas we could manage. The management and staff are 100% customer oriented and it's their exceptional attitudes and grace that make this event department stand out!

The Holiday Inn South County was such a great place for our wedding reception! We got married last month, and I have to thank everyone at the Holiday Inn SC for making the evening run smoothly and so much fun! First, the catering sales manager, Kamber, was SO helpful! She was very kind, understanding, and quick to respond to any and all of our questions. What a pleasure working with her! Second, the rest of the staff was very kind and helpful as well. One staff member carried my plate of food for me from the buffet to my seat, making it easier for me to walk around in my dress and shoes and not worry about dropping my food. She even boxed up some of the food for my husband and I so that we could eat it later in the evening (we were so busy and excited that it was hard to eat)! Third, the food was delicious! Chef Harry was so friendly during our tasting and eager to please us. We were very pleased! Fourth, we loved that we could store our decorations in the bridal suite and set up the night before the wedding. My dad was even able to test the slideshow/movie he made to ensure it would play correctly. Fifth, it was so cool that we could hang out at the lobby bar after our reception ended. We had a fair amount of family and friends stay late enjoying the bar and company. Finally, it was super helpful that the reception package came with the DJ (Rockstar DJs)... the DJ was awesome and the owner of the company was so friendly and responsive to any questions we had. I appreciated not having to book a DJ on my own, especially because I loved Rockstar! I would recommend the Holiday Inn South County to anyone! Great service, great people, great fun!

We absolutely loved everything about our wedding at the Holiday Inn South County Center. From the very beginning we received very detailed helpful information on prices and different packages. Throughout the whole process we were helped by catering sales manager Kamber Seay. She was incredibly kind, patient and knowledgeable. She answered all my emails and phone calls in a timely manner, which helped keep my stress levels low. \r\rBesides the helpful staff, the Holiday Inn South County Center also has a beautiful modern theme throughout. The decorations, furniture and and carpets were more young and \"hip\" then most other hotels. There is an awesome bar and bistro area, which accommodated us by staying open late after our reception ended.\r\rWe had our ceremony in the smaller ballroom, which easily sat 100 people. The staff set up all the chairs and put together the arbor we married under. Our reception was held in the larger ballroom and comfortably held our party of about 150 people. This ballroom was perfect for our reception, and looked great with our country chic mason jar theme. The food was excellent, I received many compliments from guest. \r\rOne of the greatest things for me, that definitely helped with my wedding stress, was that we were able to bring in all of our decorations and supplies a few days before the wedding. Everything was stored in the bridal salon room until the morning of the wedding. The day of the wedding we were allowed to come as early as we needed and get ready in the bridal salon room. This was a huge plus for us because it allowed us all to get ready in a central location. \r\rOverall, we were extremely happy with how our wedding turned out. We loved the modern vibe of the hotel, the friendly and helpful staff, the spacious rooms, the delicious food and the affordable packages they offer. We would definitely recommend this venue for any couple! \r\r

We absolutely loved everything about our wedding at the Holiday Inn South County Center. From the very beginning we received very detailed helpful information on prices and different packages. Throughout the whole process we were helped by catering sales manager Kamber Seay. She was incredibly kind, patient and knowledgeable. She answered all my emails and phone calls in a timely manner, which helped keep my stress levels low. \r\rBesides the helpful staff, the Holiday Inn South County Center also has a beautiful modern theme throughout. The decorations, furniture and and carpets were more young and \"hip\" then most other hotels. There is an awesome bar and bistro area, which accommodated us by staying open late after our reception ended.\r\rWe had our ceremony in the smaller ballroom, which easily sat 100 people. The staff set up all the chairs and put together the arbor we married under. Our reception was held in the larger ballroom and comfortably held our party of about 150 people. This ballroom was perfect for our reception, and looked great with our country chic mason jar theme. My room block was with the Holiday Inn in South County. They provided a shuttle to take my guest to the wedding and back to the rooms from Orlando Gardens. The hotel was quiet and very clean. The only thing was that the shower was leaking and they offered to move us out of the room immediately. I would definitely recommend them.

The Holiday Inn South county was Awesome!! The Grand Ballroom was breathtaking! I was worried I wouldn't get back from the wedding Ceremony in enough time to decorate for the reception, but when we arrived it was already decorated! My daughter's wedding reception was held at the newly remodeled Holiday Inn. Everything was well-done and organized. The banquet manager even gave me his cell phone # to text him prior to the event if I thought of anything else for the room. He texted me pictures through out the day as the room was coming together. The room was cold (my request) and the food was hot, and the drinks were strong! Kamber helped us book the event and plan the night.(when to cut the cake, when to have the toasts etc.) She was incredibly helpful and organized and always returned my calls in a timely manner. She had plenty of recommendations for anything else I might need, for instance, I rented hurricane candle holders and linen table runners from a company that she recommended. Somehow we lost an envelope that night and the next morning, on checking out, there was a note under our name to pick up this envelope! A nice woman from the kitchen came out with our envelope!! Very sweet! We danced all night! THE ONLY NEGATIVE, The dance floor was coming apart (like a puzzle) on the corners, we were lucky no one was hurt with the amount of alcohol my guests consumed that night and the insane dance moves that I witnessed! She helped make the wedding planning process a smooth experience. \rThe reception was beautiful. Everything looked great and was just as we wanted it to look. The table settings were beautiful with the chair covers and sashes, which were included in the package. \rThe staff was also amazing. By far the most friendly staff for a reception! Everyone was so accommodating. The bartenders were outgoing and fun and had our guests laughing. \rThe food was really good and they have plenty of options to chose from. \rThe DJ was part of the package and he was so fun and played everything we wanted. We had great service while preparing for our reception even though the Catering Manager that was assisting us with planning was under a change of position. We were planning from out of town and they were a great help in letting us meet up at short notice to go over details. They were also helpful in working over the phone. \rWe enjoyed the people (Angela, Kamber and Jessica) we worked with and the food was great. We set our own decor up, so we did not work much with the staff of decorating. They did set up the table and chair covers and dinner wear, which was helpful. It was nice we were able to have the room set up the night before (since there was not a wedding that Friday) which took some stress off the people doing the decorations. The reception ballroom is lovely, I really liked the new renovation and lighting. We also loved the access to the bridal suite, it comes in very handy! The food and drinks were great value. We liked the Holiday Inn for including service fees and taxes in the price so there were no hidden costs. The only downfalls we ran into were that we were told on wedding nights they would keep the lobby bar open for anyone who would want to continue to visit after the reception was over and we were disappointed when they had it closed prior to the reception ending. Also, the rooms went quickly so we suggest you try to get as big of a room block as needed from the beginning. There was an event in the area that took up several rooms that we thought would be open for any friends/family that made late reservations. Overall, for our budget we really loved our reception and catering by the Holiday Inn! We had a blast and things went very smoothly!

I had my wedding here in June 2014. It was amazing! The staff from the planning process to the actual day was great. They did switch wedding planners while I was planning and it was a little rough talking to someone new who didn't know our idea of the big day. She did do great with us and didn't at all take away from our big deal. We got there and they have a special suite for the bride and wedding party to stay in to get ready which is great. The bathroom is big enough for the bride and helpers to go potty. Then at the end of the night they did all the cleaning and loaded all the gifts and stuff we brought onto a cart to bring up to our room. Really a great place to stay and have a wedding. The food was the best wedding food I have ever had. All my guests raved about the food!!

I am so very glad that we held our wedding at the Holiday Inn South County center! We were provided with great personal care. The ballroom was absolutely beautiful! I was a little nervous about having a Holiday Inn rather than some grand venue, but it was grand. The food was delicious and they helped to make each and every detail perfect for us (and at a GREAT price!). My only complaint was that the dance floor was a little small for our large party, and that the pieces of floor were separating and it was a little dangerous for those in heels.

The rooms were very clean, and they worked with us on price based on how many people we had booked. They also had a shuttle service that would take and pick you up anywhere with in 5 miles of the hotel, which was great because our reception was at the Royale Orleans. However, they failed to tell us that it only runs Tuesday-Saturday. Which meant we had no way back to our car on Sunday! We had to get a cab the next morning, how romantic. This all would have been fine if they told us that ahead of time!

After looking at several local venues that were way out of our price range(City Museum, Mad Art Gallery, etc.), we chose Holiday Inn for our reception site. It was not only in south county, the perfect central location, but it was affordable and GORGEOUS! They just finished a swanky remodel and I could not believe my eyes when I saw the ballroom transformed the day of. Angela was helpful and full of energy, and the package they offer is outstanding. After looking at several local venues that were way out of our price range(City Museum, Mad Art Gallery, etc.), we chose Holiday Inn for our reception site. It was not only in south county, the perfect central location, but it was affordable and GORGEOUS! They just finished a swanky remodel and I could not believe my eyes when I saw the ballroom transformed the day of. Angela was helpful and full of energy, and the package they offer is outstanding. The best part- Chef Harry and his amazing food! WOW- I still have people telling me that this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding reception!

FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE WEDDING TO THE END OF THE WEDDING, THE STAFF TO EXCELLENT CARE OF US. I RECCOMMEND THE HOTEL IS OVER 5 STARS. THE FOOD WAS SO SO SO GOOD. We had our reception at the Holiday Inn South County Center and everything was wonderful The only difficult thing was they were getting ready for construction and they had just changed owners. Otherwise they were so easy to work with.

My wife and I had our reception here and we had a blast. The price they charge includes an ice sculpture, wedding cake, all linens, china, centerpieces and DJ. We spent less than $6000.00 for everything. The food is amazing and the personal service you get fromt the coordinator was excellent.

Maryanne was amazing to work with, she constantly checks her emails and gets back to you right away. The whole night included the DJ (he was fantastic) and the cake from wedding wonderland (delicious!) She upgraded appetizers (at no charge) for us, and that evening she threw in table overlays that matched my chair sashes perfectly! They set up my centerpieces amazingly, everything went smoothly I was one happy bride!!!!!
