About This Vendor
Legacy Decatur hosts the intimate Moore Chapel along with scenic natural areas, including meadows, a small lake, and walking trails in Decatur, GA. Legacy Decatur is a five minute drive from many restaurants, shops, and hotels. Facilities We have a beautiful chapel built in 1906, an indoor event space, and spaces for an outdoor reception. Our maximum capacity is 80 people. We have a number of other historic buildings, meadows and woodland trails that offer unique photo opportunities. We provide two wedding party prep rooms. Services To keep our price-point accessible, the couple is responsible for providing catering, bar support, support staff, linens, and cutlery. We include the use of the chapel, an indoor or outdoor reception area, wedding party prep rooms, and tables and chairs.

Madeleine was very professional and attentive to all our needs. Moore Chapel was the perfect venue for us. We loved the grounds, they were the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos. This venue provided us with all the space needed to have our wedding, Chapel, reception hall, bridal suite and a grooms suite. Our guest complimented us on the transition from the chapel to the reception hall. We would Highly recommend this Venue you will not be disappointed. Our wedding day was beautiful and very thing went smoothly.

Friendly and fast to communicate with. We had a small wedding ceremony and rented the chapel for an hour. Great atmosphere and everything was very nice. I would recommend this if you want to host a great wedding.

Madeleine Henner (Events Director) Madeleine has never been to a wedding and not cried. She is delighted to work with you to create your dream wedding. In previous positions, she has organized educational and fundraising events, but she is most proud of her Weird Art Party, in which she converted an apartment into an unconventional art exhibit for the night. Madeleine loves mini golf, gardening, and mint chocolate chip ice cream.
