Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa is a wedding venue situated in Mount Ida, AR. This destination offers a serene lake setting at the meeting place of the Ouachita National Forest and the beautiful Lake Ouachita. Our 900- acre property has two large wedding facilities, two stunning outdoor pavilions, a gazebo, an award-winning Turtle Cove Spa, great staff, and lodging variety in one location! Before and after your big day, you can take advantage of the wonderful amenities at the venue. Semi-outdoor ceremonies are held in an open-sided wooden pavilion, with white chairs laid out to match your vision. String lights and timber accents set the tone for rustic and romantic occasions. Alternatively, you can exchange views on the grounds under an enchanting gazebo. Evening receptions are held in the spacious East Coast Conference Center. This room is characterized by modern-meets-classic interiors, timber accents, ambient lighting, and plenty of natural light and views of the grounds thanks to large floor-to-ceiling windows. Round tables can be set up to reflect your event style. A dance floor is arranged for evening entertainment, so you can take to the dance floor for the all-important first dance following dinner and speeches! Throughout the celebrations, guests can mingle on the wooden deck, which overlooks the waterfront and scenic woodlands. Our talented event team at Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa wants to make your dream day come to life! We offer a range of services to make your planning journey easier. From on-site catering to guest lodgings, we'll do all we can to ensure a seamless and special occasion for your loved ones. Mountain Harbor was a beautiful place to have our wedding. Ashley, the event coordinator, was amazing and worked with us to ensure our day was perfect! The venue was very laid-back and made life stress-free up to the day of the wedding. We did have some snafus with the table and chair set-up during the rehearsal and the wedding day, but I think this would have been remedied by hiring the day-of coordinator. Once they were made aware of the problem, they worked to fix it and accommodate our needs as fast as possible! Our friends and family loved the resort, and everyone raved about the location! I highly recommend the East Cove Pavillion and Conference Center!

This venue was breathtaking and everything I always pictured! It was the East Cove Pavilion, which is surrounded by the beautiful Lake Ouachita. The set up was seamless, and the views were amazing during the day and night. Would recommend it 10/10!!!

My MOH booked a beautiful cabin at Mountain Harbor Resort for my bachelorette weekend. We had three bedrooms and a loft with plenty of extra room to fit more than the nine ladies staying there that weekend. The kitchen was spacious with everything we needed to prepare our own meals. We enjoyed having two fireplaces to use (for ambiance...and of course s'mores), and the staff was very quick to get us more wood as soon as we requested it. We stayed right across the bay from the spa and were able to walk there for our day of pampering. Every need we had was met by the staff and it couldn't have been a better experience. I look forward to visiting again!

The staff at Mountain Harbor was absolutely amazing! They did everything within their power to help us decorate and set-up for the reception and ceremony, as well as accommodate all of our 100+ guests in their lodging. Adriane, the wedding coordinator, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and appreciated. They were also very flexible, letting us set up days before so that we weren't too stressed out on the big day. Most other venues were extremely strict on the number of hours we could have to set up and how long we could stay at the reception. Not this place! We partied well into the night. They also had tables, chairs, dishes, silverware, plates, etc. that we could use. But you may want to bring in chairs from another vendor because these are the metal ones. Our ceremony was right on the water near the pavilion on a cool September day. The view and atmosphere under the trees made it so romantic and spiritual. I could not have asked for a better day!

This is such a special place. We had our wedding on the point on the lake near the East Cove Pavilion with the reception in the Pavilion. They provide tables, certain chairs, and table clothes. Adriane, the event coordinator, is awesome, and all of our guests seem to really enjoy it. The only negative side was the spa didn't warn me that the treatment I planned to have could likely cause me to break out (changed it!) and the restaurant in the lodge (for non-wedding meals) is slow unless you eat the buffet. We also used the East Cove Conf. Center for the rehearsal dinner which was perfect. Lastly, the outside venue was incredibly pretty and pleasant, and it cost a tenth of other venues.

Mountain Harbor went above and beyond on making our special day perfect! The event coordinator, Adriane, is spectacular at her job!! She called and text throughout the week to see if there was anything we needed help with. When we did need help, she was by my side within a few short minutes handling the situation. All of the staff at Mountain Harbor were friendly and eager to help in any way. I could not have picked a more beautiful sight for our wedding!! Everything was perfect from the lodging, the rehearsal dinner, the ceremony, and the reception. Ladies, if you have not check out Mountain Harbor Resort and Spa, do yourself a favor and CHECK them out!! They are a one stop shop for your wedding! They have lodging, catering, ceremony venue, and reception venue options. Mountain Harbor will always have a special place in my heart for making the biggest day of my life beyond anything I would have dreamed of!

The venue was beautiful. Scenic, natural. The staff could not have been more helpful. Set up and Clean up were effortless. Julie and her staff accomodated every need quickly and professionally. The amount of equipment included for the price was unbelievable. Very happy.

EXCELLENT value. Amazing staff. Natural and beautiful. Exactly what we wanted: peaceful, gorgeous, fun (not over-the-top and stuffy). Wedding venue was perfect and the cabins/condos for the wedding party/family were amazing. My family CAN'T stop talking about how PERFECT everything was.
