We had the most perfect wedding weekend at Mountain Lake Lodge! Raechel and Aleta were so helpful throughout the whole process and handled everything the day of the wedding so we could just enjoy our day! The overlook was beautiful and Mary’s Barn was perfect for our reception. We would 100% recommend getting married at Mountain Lake to anyone! It was a perfect day :)

My husband and I recently celebrated our wedding at Mountain Lake Lodge, and we cannot express how thrilled we are with our choice. Instead of spending a few hours together and going their separate ways, I wanted our families to have an opportunity to reconnect and make new fun memories. Even in the winter, the Lodge offered multiple activities. We went for a hike with our wedding party, my family took kids ice skating, and many people did their own self-guided Dirty Dancing tour. Our theme was \"having the time of our lives,\" a play on Dirty Dancing, and Mountain Lade Lodge made that vision happen. I plan trade shows as part of my job, and they can be stressful, so I wanted to just press the easy button on my own wedding. Mountain Lake was closer to a one-stop shop and made the planning so much simpler! I could just call or email our coordinators, and they were quick to respond and make things happen. I had one person I could go to plan lodging, ceremony, and reception spaces, food and beverage, rehearsal dinner, day of coordination, a dance floor, getting ready space, wedding night accommodations, and entertainment options. Not only did they make my life easier, the value of their packages was comparable to or better than unbundling each of the components and saved me the headache of having to coordinate and purchase each element separately. What truly set Mountain Lake Lodge apart was its exceptional level of service and attention to detail. From the initial planning stages to the day of coordination, the team was professional, responsive, and dedicated to making our vision come to life. Our guests commented that the staff was friendly when they called to make reservations and how much they enjoyed the food. We were so happy with our decision and we truly had the time of our lives!

Exceeded my expectations! The venue is gorgeous but it’s the staff who help to make it so special. The food was displayed beautifully and tasted so fresh - even family kept saying how amazing of a party it was. The coordination team really show you that they are hands on through the whole process, this really helped to ease my nerves and enjoy every thing. The Christmas lights outside made it the perfect holiday wedding weekend and my guest were left in awe!

We had our daughters wedding at Mountain Lake Lodge October 21, 2023. From the second we signed our contract until the day of the wedding everything was perfect! The communication and professionalism was amazing. It was truly an incredible experience. Aside from the venue being so beautiful, everything else including the food and staff was equally incredible. I cannot put into words how amazing Rachel, whose title is Director of Catering was. She needs a different title because she was truly director of everything! We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding coordinator! She planned, decorated, directed and so much more! We would have been lost without her. Every meeting we had she listened to everything we said and remembered it at the next meeting. She is so good at what she does and now we consider her a friend. I never met a more attentive and caring person in her role. I cannot forget to mention her assistant, Aleta. Their attention detail was bar none. The waitstaff was amazing and while everyone was there doing so much they did it all unnoticed but kept things in order and kept everything on schedule and moving along. I must also mention the chef and his staff. How often do you go to a wedding and the food is ok. The food at Mountain Lake Lodge is stellar! Whether you are at the bar having a pizza or having a wedding for 120 the food is awesome!!! We are more than impressed! It was worth every penny. We couldn’t be happier with our first and only choice! The lodge made all our our daughters wedding dreams come true. It is a special place. We had all of our closest friends and family in one place for a weekend and that was truly magical. Every room and all the cabins were clean and beautifully done! It was a perfect weekend. If you are considering a wedding or any other event at this place I promise you will not be disappointed!!

I could not be more pleased with how every aspect of our wedding turned out to be, and the staff at Mountain Lake Lodge had everything to do with it! Every moment from our tour of the venue, to the morning we left as a married couple was a breeze! When planning a wedding, everyone knows there can be a lot of stresses along the way, but Raechel Kiefer at Mountain Lake made it feel effortless for us. We owe her a tremendous thank you! She was incredibly kind, professional, accommodating of all of our wishes, and so fun to work with! She went out of her way to check in on us while we were there, treated us very well, and was super organized and prepared. I would also like to highlight some other staff that were very helpful-Lyndsi, who gave us our original tour, was very nice and helped answer our many questions, and indeed helped convince us (without pressure) that Mountain Lake was our perfect venue. Also, Aleta-who was by my side a lot of our wedding day and helped not just keep me calm, but also helped with all the ins and outs of our day-thank you! And finally, AJ who helped facilitate all the food and beverages of our weekend. Thank you for all the food deliveries and the awesome service! My now husband and most of his family are gluten free, and AJ and the other catering staff were able to accommodate all our food restrictions without struggle, plus it tasted amazing!Mountain Lake is a special place because it has so many different ceremony spots for every part of your weekend. It's the perfect place for a fall wedding because the views are amazing, everything can be in one place, your guests can have a great weekend getaway (they lodge all your guests on the mountain), and the food is amazing! There's restaurants/bar areas that your guests can enjoy during their stay, as well as hiking spots. I could go on and on about how special Mountain Lake Lodge is to us. My husband, Ryan and I are looking forward to visiting again in the future <3

Raechel, our event coordinator, was always so attentive, helpful and detailed. She was there from the first day we met to the minute we packed up and left. AJ, our food coordinator, was always there making sure the guests were well fed, and the food was outstanding. The entire weekend was flawless! Our Wedding was rescheduled due to spiking covid in 2021 and the venue was wonderful about working with our concerns as an older couple. We enjoyed a small intimate ceremony at the garden setting by the gazebo. We dined within the hotel restaurant and the staff were both friendly and accommodating with you requests. The food was fantastic and we enjoyed the fireplace in the Main Lobby. Thank you for making our day just the way we wanted - sweet and simple!

You guys rock! As a planner of sorts myself, I knew what I wanted and these ladies were amazing about providing me with all the vendors to assist with my wedding look. I loved the rustic and comfortable surroundings for my guests to enjoy so I didn’t have to plan every minute of their time here and it was awesome because some of them went zip lining and others just relaxed at the bar. The staff was so friendly we felt like family, even joking with my grandpa who is a hard one to charm! It was really the perfect setting for my special day and now I can’t stop thinking about when we’ll be back.

We looked at a lot of different venues and it was a struggle to find something that worked for all of my family and friends traveling until I found this place! It was just a bonus that Dirty Dancing was filmed here - how cool!!! The staff were very helpful, I know my family called in with a lot of questions and they were always so nice to follow up and be sure everyone was taken care of. It was so fun planning with Lyndsi and her team, they are awesome at what they do and you can really tell everyone at Mountain Lake really cares about what they do. The food was amazing and they even setup a tasting for us to test it out before our big day, my partner really liked this part. The wedding day was chilly than expected but the staff were great about providing alternatives and accommodating my crazy friend’s requests for blankets and such. This place really felt like home and I can’t wait to visit again hopefully when it’s warmer :)

The wedding day was chilly than expected but the staff were great about providing alternatives and accommodating my crazy friend’s requests for blankets and such. This place really felt like home and I can’t wait to visit again hopefully when it’s warmer :)

Yes, the Venue is absolutely beautiful and offered tons of options for us, but what sold us on picking Mountain Lake was Lyndsi and her team. They were so helpful and never hesitated to answer any of our questions. Lyndsi helped alleviate any concerns my mother and I had leading up to the wedding day AND on the wedding day. Everything was wonderful and we loved every minute of it, as did our guests. The location is beautiful, unique, and full of charm. The added benefit of having guests staying on the property where the wedding took place made logistics very easy. We had dinner on the porch of their Harvest restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff was so accommodating to help us with some last minute changes we had. I have already given the venue 5 stars and would give the staff at Mountain Lake Lodge, particularly their event staff, more than 5 stars if I could.

Although I love the movie that was filmed here, I was even more excited about the history and the beauty surrounding Mountain Lake Lodge. It even has it's own climate! From start to finish, we were not disappointed in our lovely wedding weekend. The fact that all our family and friends could stay \"on campus\" and conveniently connect with each other and us for the week made it like a community of all our favorite people for several days! We had many guests from all across the state of Virginia as well as Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, California, Nevada, Texas, Florida and New York! Everyone was delighted with the beautiful fall colors, the lovely historic buildings, and most importantly the warm and welcoming staff. From check in to cake storage to set up and fine dining and check out, everyone we interacted with went above and beyond to show hospitality and great customer service. My family is already discussing a return for an extended family reunion and the bride and groom have mentioned that they would love to come back every year! As exhausting and draining as wedding planning can be, after it was all said and done, I would do it all again at this location. The price was reasonable, and the memories are priceless. Thank you Lyndsi, Robert, and all the staff for making our weekend amazing.

As mother of the groom, I couldn't have been more delighted with the rehearsal dinner and reception that we hosted/attended. The setting was spectacular. So much charm and natural beauty. I was concerned about our ability to make all the plans since we don't live in the area, but working with Lyndsi Hale and her team was very easy. They are pros! Also, the food for both events was delicious. We are very happy and can't wait to return for another occasion or just to vacation.

I wish that I could recommend this venue as the location is lovely, but unfortunately I cannot do so. We did not book our wedding here, but we used it for our wedding room block and our rehearsal dinner. Both turned out to be a series of mess ups and issues on their end. To start, their sales team did not communicate with one another, and so we were double booked with another couple for our rehearsal dinner space. Then, every time we reached out asking for updates on our room block, the sales team had our room block details wrong, and the front desk left many of our guests confused about whether they were or were not in our room block and/or got the discounted room rate. The day before the wedding, we tried to deliver welcome bags to our guests, and they charged $2 per bag for \"delivery\" to the rooms, whereas no other hotel in Blacksburg charged anything (and Mountain Lake wouldn't just give them to guests on arrival). They also double booked some of our guests, including my in-laws who got re-booked into new rooms 3 TIMES before the wedding without explanation.At the rehearsal dinner, the staff got countless meals wrong (including entirely forgetting the pesto on the \"pesto crusted salmon\" that nearly half of our guests ordered), forgot to bring out multiple meals, and failed to shorten the bar menu choices as we'd asked, costing us hundreds of dollars in alcohol purchases. In addition, they only staffed 1 waitress for our party of 27 people! Our poor waitress did the best she could, but the whole dinner took hours, and I, as the bride, was left to try to fix all of the food issues over the course of the night. All I can say is, Mountain Lake is beautiful and the setting is lovely, but I can't recommend it for a wedding party or rehearsal dinner. We had our wedding at Doe Creek instead, and I'm so thankful we did so. They made up for all of the issues with Mountain Lake by being the easiest and most accommodating people to work with!

They go above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of and your day is as special as it can be. A perfect place for our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception. They were a pleasure to work with and helped ease a lot of the stress of weddings. We had a unique situation where the groom ended up having emergency surgery the night of our rehearsal, but they took charge and ensured our guests were still taken care of. The wedding ceremony and reception went perfectly, even with the pouring rain and a few stray people from the beer festival. The only negative I would have is that the cabin wasn’t cleaned before our arrival, but once brought to their attention, it was taken care of and we were even gifted a bottle of champagne for the inconvenience.

A perfect place for our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception. They were a pleasure to work with and helped ease a lot of the stress of weddings. We had a unique situation where the groom ended up having emergency surgery the night of our rehearsal, but they took charge and ensured our guests were still taken care of. The wedding ceremony and reception went perfectly, even with the pouring rain and a few stray people from the beer festival. My husband and I got married in October 2017 at Mountain Lake Lodge. I’d had my heart set on a mountain wedding in the fall, and had been discouraged with the other venues we had toured. Their costs were absurd. My husband found MLL and booked a tour. We fell in love with the venue immediately. Lyndsi was so wonderful and informative during our tour- assuring us that we could get married at MLL and stick within our budget. We chose the Overlook for the ceremony location and Mary’s Barn for our reception. The overlook has several beautiful views and the fall foliage just made everything even more lovely. Mary’s Barn is perfect for a reception-it has enough room for dedicated spaces for cocktail hour, dinner and dancefloor and it was plenty comfortable for our 100+ guests. Raechel was so incredible to work with! Throughout the whole process she was there with helpful advice, ideas and guidance to keep me on track. She truly went above and beyond to help me plan our wedding. Her responses to my MANY emails were almost always immediate, and she never made me feel that I was a bother or was asking too many questions. She shared in my excitement through every step of the process and as we got closer to our wedding date, she would call with updated numbers or just to check in and see if there was anything I needed. Our wedding weekend was wonderful-AJ was in charge of the food and beverages for our reception and he was wonderful to work with as well. During the day of the wedding he checked in on me several times to see if there was anything he could get me. The food was DELICIOUS! Our guests are still talking about the dinner. There were a few drawbacks to the weekend; one of which had absolutely nothing to do with the wedding team but still affected our guests’ overall experience- the bartender in the main lodge was very rude to many of our guests, including myself, all weekend. The other issue we had is that our leftover wedding cake was disposed of without checking with us first-so I do recommend that if you plan on keeping any leftover cake, make sure you communicate that before you get into the swing of the day to avoid this happening to you. Despite those issues, overall, I would definitely recommend MLL for weddings. There are SO many reasons to book here but I would do it all over again based solely on Raechel-she is a gem! I believe that you would be hard pressed to find someone like her elsewhere.

My husband and I had a unforgettable wedding weekend at Mountain Lake Lodge. My husband had taken me to the Lodge a few years prior on a trip to his alma mater and I told him then that would be the place we would get married. I mean who doesn’t want to get married at a beautiful mountain location where they filmed Dirty Dancing. The price we thought was reasonable and we had a smaller guest list of 65. The Lodge was a great place to have our guests stay because they could enjoy all the amenities like hiking, treetop adventure s and just hanging out with everyone. We are from Florida and lots of friends and family were there to celebrate with us. The cabins were a great option to have family stay together. By far the best thing we did was rent the golf carts. While all the cabins are walking distance it was nice to be able to hop on the cart to get where we needed to go quickly. The positives for us were also the friendliness of all the staff. I did have to change my planner close to the wedding date but Raechel made the change a smooth process. We got married at the gazebo and had our reception in Mary’s Barn. Catering and food was fantastic! Everyone loved the food. The local craft brew selection was very important to us and they offered a great selection. The venue also provided so many awesome photo ops for us. The staff was very accommodating with our photographer and us to get us to some breathtaking spots. The only downside we could see is it is a very rustic venue. They did have cabins that were recently renovated which were very nice, but we wished our lake cottage would have had the same upgrades. Some of the roads to the cottages on blueberry ridge are still unpaved which made travel challenging. However we were told that they are in the process of paving those roads. Overall a lovely May Day and weekend to get married.

I loved Mountain Lake Lodge for any event but getting married there was wonderful! The lodge is beautiful and full of history. The grounds and scenery is breathtaking and I can't wait to experience it during all four seasons. My family and friends found the MLL to be very accommodating to their own individual needs, whether it be a private cabin, a room in the main lodge, or the adjacent lodge that is pet friendly! It was great seeing our guests enjoying the grounds. We live in Pennsylvania but have a lot of relatives in NC, so we wanted a wedding destination that was conveniently located for everyone to travel. Pembroke, VA turned out to be perfectly located for everyone. We chose to get married at the gazebo and although it was July, the mountain breeze and temperatures felt more like May. The reception was held in the lodge's ballroom with an outdoor social hour for the guests on the veranda while we captured some wedding photos. The beautiful setting of the outdoor veranda with the stone archways, hummingbirds and lovely sunset made a very special evening to celebrate our wedding. In addition, we held our rehearsal dinner on the dining room porch which was a lovely setting to see the views while privately dining as a group. As an extra perk, many of our friends and family have since watched Dirty Dancing (again!) to relive the lodge and all of the rooms/scenes from the movie that we now know first hand. I can't thank Raechel, our wedding coordinator, enough for her helpful advice, efficiency, and professionalism. She is obviously well-experienced in this role and does it with ease. Being a full-time professional and living out of state, I needed a turnkey planning experience that took as much of the stress out of the process as possible. MLL and Raechel made that happen for me! As well, they provided a list of local vendors who are reasonably priced, friendly and very responsive for all of the extras. My husband and I definitely look forward to going back to enjoy the ambiance of our wedding place. Although I booked the lodge without visiting in person first, I can tell you that being there in person is everything and more that you see on the website and wedding venue recommendations. If VA is for lovers, than Mountain Lake Lodge is for lovers who want to make that lifetime commitment! My best to all the future brides and grooms who say “I Do” at the Mountain Lake Lodge!!

I have nothing but nice things to say about my experience with the Mountain Lake Lodge, so let's get to the point, BOOK THEM! At the time that I started working with this property for my special day, I was living in Norfolk, Virginia--which happened to be about 6 hours away. From day one, Lyndsi made the beginning process so easy through thorough conversations by phone and email. She answered all my questions and concerns that I had with dates and contracts necessary, not to mention was completely professional and quick to respond. After my contract was signed and date was picked, I then was connected with Raechel Kiefer. Ladies, let me tell you, this woman is an absolute savior. She helped me with anything and everything, including vendors, food, color coordination, recommendations, seating arrangements....you name it, she helped. Not only did she help me with everything, she even helped me get my wedding shoes, which I thought were no longer being made. Raechel is truly the most sweetest, professional, lovely human being I have ever met and I can honestly say that my wedding weekend with my family was as perfect as it was because of her. You would seriously be crazy not to work with her. The hotel rooms in every part of the property are gorgeous and simplistic, which is perfect for the area, as well as the point of getting married on top of a mountain--which is to be intimate with your loved ones without staring at a screen and appreciate the view! The property is very clean and fresh, perfect for an outdoor wedding. The food provided for breakfast and dinner in the lodge, as well as weddings, is superb! All my family and friends ranted and raved over the selection and taste of everything, it's to die for. The hotel has an option for golf carts and vans to transport you and your guests around the property, which is ideal to get from place to place if you are disabled or want to get that perfect shot in your wedding dress. The property staff, bartenders, and wait staff were nice and accommodated everything that we needed during our stay, sometimes going above and beyond. In terms of price for rooms, venue space, drinks,food, and rentals, I would say that everything was reasonable and worth the price--it was also cheaper than a lot of properties in the area. I really loved that they offered a discount for military personnel, I appreciated the appreciation to those who have served our country. From our initial meeting with Lyndsi, we were sold with having our wedding at Mountain Lake. We had that connection and it was no question we should get married here. In the beginning it was a bit hectic switching between coordinators but once that situation was resolved the communication was 100% better! I do agree with others in that there should be some sort of continental breakfast for the guests who were staying at the lodge. After paying for a room for two nights, it would be nice having a continental breakfast or brunch. Other than that, the rooms were amazing, our room was amazing as well! The day of the wedding was a little hectic, prewedding jitters which Raechel helped ease the nervousness. The wedding ceremony went perfectly and the reception was amazing. Everyone loved the food, said it was the best wedding food they ever had. Big shot out to the staff, especially the gentleman who made sure we got food first and was able to enjoy the day. I got married at Mountain Lake Lodge last May and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get married here. It is an amazing location to get married and has spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The lodge is beautiful and I loved how the stone walls looked in the ballroom. We booked the gazebo for our ceremony and the ballroom for our reception. I loved how romantic the gazebo was and the ballroom was so classy and elegant. Aside from being such a beautiful venue, all of the staff were incredibly accommodating as well. I did not have any need to hire a wedding planner because Lyndsi and Raechel filled that role for me. They were always an email or phone call away and helped me plan my entire weekend. They also eliminated a lot of stress the day of because they were there to make sure everything ran smoothly. I could not have done it without them! As for the food, we got the \"Little Italy\" package for our reception. Having good food was the most important thing to my husband and we were both very happy with it. I found everything to be quite affordable and my husband and I were on a very limited budget since he was still in school. The cost of staying at the lodge the whole weekend is a little bit pricey, but the cost of the wedding itself was affordable enough that it ended up being ok. Also, if you are trying to save money then getting married on a Sunday or during the week can save you quite a bit. I got married on a Sunday and I don't regret it at all.If you are on the fence about booking this venue, I can assure you that you will not regret it. The staff is excellent, the food was delicious, and the lodge is beautiful. My wedding weekend was perfect and I am planning on staying at the lodge for my anniversary every year!

I got married at Mountain Lake Lodge last May and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get married here. It is an amazing location to get married and has spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The lodge is beautiful and I loved how the stone walls looked in the ballroom. We booked the gazebo for our ceremony and the ballroom for our reception. I loved how romantic the gazebo was and the ballroom was so classy and elegant. Aside from being such a beautiful venue, all of the staff were incredibly accommodating as well. I did not have any need to hire a wedding planner because Lyndsi and Raechel filled that role for me. They were always an email or phone call away and helped me plan my entire weekend. They also eliminated a lot of stress the day of because they were there to make sure everything ran smoothly. I could not have done it without them! As for the food, we got the \"Little Italy\" package for our reception. Having good food was the most important thing to my husband and we were both very happy with it. I found everything to be quite affordable and my husband and I were on a very limited budget since he was still in school. There honestly couldn’t have been a better place to get married! Mountain Lake Lodge is beautiful, serene, secluded but still close to town, a million other little reasons, but the big one for us was the price and everything it included!! When my now husband and I started searching for a venue we looked at all the places close to us in Fredericksburg, VA and we were shocked at how much the entire wedding would cost! We found MLL on a wedding venue search and I was sceptical that some place so amazing and famous could possibly be in our price range. I was SHOCKED when the woman we met with told me they would be able to meet our budget and we’d be able to have a gorgeous and elegant wedding!!!! We were able to customise our dinner, pick one of many locations to have our ceremony and reception, and we didn’t have to hire a DJ or rent sound equipment! We chose the Overlook for our ceremony and Mary’s Barn for the reception. We also got a military discount for my dad being a veteran!!!! We didn’t even ask, they told us about it!!! The Overlook is a beautiful and peaceful field on top of the mountain. There is an old golf club house as well as an amazing view of the valley below the lodge, and a view of the mountains in West Virginia with a tree line in the forefront. We chose the view of the WV mountains because of the fall foliage. I think we made a good choice!!! Mary’s Barn is a great cozy place with a back patio for cocktail hour and a huge fireplace inside. It has a nice dance floor and cute white chairs for you and your guests. The day of the wedding went as smooth as it could have gone! The staff was amazing and helped with whatever we needed and I didn’t have to worry about a thing! During dinner the catering manager was there the whole time to help me and my husband. He even went and found Advil for me when I had a headache!!! We left the weekend so happy with beautiful memories of our wedding weekend. Choosing Mountain Lake Lodge to get married will be the best decision of your life!!

My family, friends, and extended family and I had the most amazing wedding weekend at Mountain Lake Lode! The rustic mountain lodge and property was exactly what we were looking for to be able to have a weekend to relax with out of town guests, family, and our bridal party. The mountain retreat allowed for our guests to hike around, enjoy the \"Dirty Dancing\" sites while my groom and I were able to get ready for our big day. Even though, we got a new wedding planner a few months before, Raechel --she was amazing, responsive, on point, super sweet, and so helpful on guiding us through everything – especially on the big day. She helped to setup a few decorations last minute too so my family could get ready. Lyndsi was great too! She really knows her stuff and very professional. Raechel and Lyndsi were both wonderful to work with my mom and me on the pricing and the details of the wedding and the costs. Lyndsi made some great recommendations to help me stay within my budget. I will also add that I could not find someone to just take down my decor after the ceremony and Lyndsi and Raechel graciously offered to stay late and do this for me and my now husband, which was a life saver (no extra cost!) Who wants to do that or make your family do that after your reception? The best! We also stayed up there and had many of guests stay up there (60+) who all loved it. The suites & cabins - wonderful. Really loved that we got to stay up there! The Virginia Cabin that my bridal party got ready in – Lyndsi and Raechel took time to make it look so cute and left me a gift basket! They really paid attention to details. Our family friend did our flowers and the staff helped her every need. Just a few other names to thank are of course, Mike, our bartender of all events that weekend. He was a great bartender and entertainer. AJ, the manager of dining was around always helping with everything – the best! We had many compliments on the food. Kim and Steve at the front desk were willing to help in any way we asked. I know I’m missing a few names but we were so appreciative of everyone. If you are looking for an all-inclusive mountain wedding place- Mountain Lake is your place! The staff makes you feel like you and your family feel like royalty :)

Our wedding at Mountain Lake felt absolutely PERFECT. We could not have asked for a more beautiful venue than in the mountains of Southwest Virginia. Our guests loved staying on-property in the cabins together and our family loved having their own private rooms. We have tons of kids in our family and it was the perfect place for them as well. There was even an home VT football game the weekend of our wedding but everyone felt cozy and tucked away in the mountains with no crazy gameday traffic. We got tons of compliments on the barbecue dinner we served at our reception and the farewell brunch got great reviews as well. We had our ceremony at the gazebo which was gorgeous with a little tulle and flowers, and our reception at Mary's Barn. There was so much room for the dance party we had after dinner. There's nothing like getting more time with your wedding guests, and that's exactly what we got with everyone staying at Mountain Lake. Raechel is an absolute DREAM to work with and so helpful and understanding. Even when I changed my mind or switched things up on her, she was so flexible and friendly. I highly recommend having your wedding at Mountain Lake!

It was wonderful to have all of our closest family and friends be able to stay on the property and make a weekend out of our special day! You had to literally pay for everything that you did there but again it wasn’t that big of a deal. I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Mountain Lake, they are just the most wonderful people! We had some rowdy guest and they handled them beautifully. They let us have our wedding the way we wanted to and did anything they could to make everything we wanted happen!

Exceptional venue! The views, the staff, the location, the rustic feel. It's all there on top of a gorgeous mountain. It also doesn't hurt that Dirty Dancing was filmed there. We had a wonderful weekend celebrating our wedding and Lyndsi Hale was wonderful! She really knows how to take care of the bride and her girls. We loved every second!

Lyndsi Hale (Director of Sales) Lyndsi Hale has worked with Mountain Lake Lodge for over 15 years as the VP of Sales, planning and on-site facilitation of the Mountain Lake Lodge weddings.
