This venue was perfect. Nancy & Shannon were so great, helpful, patient & organized throughout the entire process. There’s a great little pavilion if the weather isn’t on your side. The staff was amazing, they do set up and clean up for you, the food was great, and the bridal suite is perfect. They truly made our day everything we had hoped it would be. You can decorate essentially however you wish to, and they have great ideas & things you can use if you want to save some money.

I cannot say enough about how beautiful my day was at Mountain Valley! My guests are still raving about how good the food was! Nancy and Shannon went above and beyond to help make the day perfect and run smoothly. When lunch for one of my bridesmaids didn't work out, Nancy helped us get her a lunch from the kitchen. It was such a relief to show up on my wedding day and know that Nancy and Shannon had everything handled. They helped setup and take down all our decorations. I cannot recommend this venue enough. The outside ceremony location is incredible with gorgeous views.

Working with Nancy and Shannon at Mountain Valley Golf was a dream! As the day-of coordinator for the bride, I relied heavily on their expertise and familiarity with the venue, and they were never too busy to answer any questions we had, and were incredibly kind and patient. The whole team at Mountain Valley was incredibly efficient with setting up & tearing down the reception space (we barely had to do any repacking of our decor– they got it all done during the last dances and send-off), service was seamless during the buffet, and there was always someone to drive people via golf cart from the reception space to the ceremony space during our setup. When we forgot a cake stand, they went above any beyond to try and find something that would work for us! The bridal suite area was incredibly spacious, and there was more than enough room for nine of us to get ready the morning of. I cannot speak more highly about the level of attention and care provided by Nancy, Shannon, and the whole Mountain Valley Golf team.

I have nothing but the best things to say about my experience with Mountain Valley. From the very beginning I was impressed; we quickly received the packages from the venue and was able to set up an appointment to tour and meet with Nancy within a few days. When we met with Nancy and toured the venue, which was set up for a wedding later that day, we knew immediately it was the perfect place. Communication with Nancy and Shannon, who I met at the taste testing, was always smooth. If they didn't have an answer, they let me know and always got back as soon as they possibly could. There's always this thought that the food at wedding venues isn't meant to be good, but I can honestly not say that of Mountain Valley; it was delicious. Every single thing about working with Shannon and Nancy and everyone at Mountain Valley was seamless. They took great care of the bridal party as we got dressed and wow! What a great job decorating... it was truly something from a dream. Thank you all for making our wedding perfect!!

Mountain Valley Golf Course is a wonderful venue for any couple looking for their special day! The view is spectacular and the wedding coordinators, Nancy and Shannon, were extremely helpful every step of the way. The ceremony site was perfect and the view over Locust Lake was a wonderful back drop. The cocktail hour and reception site were modern, spacious and our guests loved it! The food was 10/10 (we had the short ribs, chicken francese and penne with vodka sauce). Our guests only complaint was that they wanted more of it because it was so delicious! We had some inclimate weather happen between our ceremony and reception. It was a challenging time as we tried to take pictures during our cocktail hour. The wedding coordinators and staff were incredibly accommodating and adapted to our situation. They entertained our guests and did not let us worry about anything as they handled the situation beautifully. A very special shout out to Gorilla, the true “Jack of all trades” for Mountain Valley. Not only did he shuttle our guests to and from the hotel all night, he took care of all of our elderly guests with golf carts. He was the best during our pictures as he escorted us around, provided us props for our pictures, held the veil, gave a signature Gorilla “dress throw” and even delivered our cake to the hotel hours after being off the clock. He is an incredible asset to Mountain Valley and he made our wedding day truly memorable.

The Mountain Valley wedding team made everything straightforward and stress free. When touring the venue we instantly connected with Nancy (wedding coordinator) and knew Mt Valley was where we wanted to celebrate our big day. The upstairs bridal suite is spacious and provides all the amenities to have outside hair and makeup team provide services. The cocktail hour was our favorite choosing several delicious served apps, artisanal station and the crowd favorite Mac and cheese station! The wedding team ensured our decor vision came to life, as well as always being two steps ahead of what needed to come next to ensure every guest had a wonderful experience. The day was perfect from start to finish. A big thank you to Mt. Valley!

The venue itself was beautiful, the communication was severely lacking and the planning on the venues and was not clear. We were getting married in March, they never contacted us for a tasting, we had to reach out for them and were told they didn’t plan on us going in until January. Mind you, we needed to send invitations out prior to that. I genuinely wish we would’ve booked somewhere else to avoid a bunch of issues.

We live near this venue and knew it’s scenic and quality for small and large groups. We assumed it would be booked out for a year due to popularity but glad we called and asked! They had a cancellation 2 months away - Halloween weekend that was also the final peak of fall foliage. Having only 2 months had its challenges but Nancy Brill and Stephanie and their staff made everything possible and run even more smoothly than imagined. The venue has a stunning deck for views, cigar bar area and open space with a bar. We needed only one bar and they were well staffed, kept up with demand and we went with the open bar with requested premium choices. No one left unhappy. The staff allowed us to add lots of extras without extra charges (paid separately) including DJ with a drone, poker/blackjack tables (no cash), cigar bar area, added lighting, gathering table, dessert bar and over the top decorations for Gatsby theme. We were allowed access to building entire day to allow easy set up. The second floor suite was a bonus and gave girls place to get ready, including hair, and change twice! We also appreciated the coordination and convenience of the Comfort Inn and included shuttle so guests could enjoy without worrying about driving and navigation. We added to their fun with local tours of Yuengling Brewery and 2 different coal mines. Their package included golf, added treats for bridal party, and all the table setting details. Their food selections are suitable for both casual outdoor style gatherings as well as high quality dressy events. We did both, casual for rehearsal dinner and full courses, sit down for wedding. The staff was attentive and professional for both events. What was impressive was how smoothly everything went because Nancy was on top of even the smallest details. We both agreed that there was nothing we would have changed and would do it again- even the 2 month timeline! Definitely a 5 star venue!!

Our September 2022 wedding day was amazing thanks to the team at Mountain Valley! Nancy and Shannon did an awesome job helping us through every step and answering the loads of questions I had. The wedding package itself is unbeatable in terms of what you get. Everything is basically provided for you which took a lot of the stress away. Food was great, ceremony & reception spaces were beautiful, and the overall day was perfect. My husband & I could not have asked for a better venue and would highly recommend to future couples!

Mountain Valley was the perfect venue for our wedding in August 2022. MV had the gold chiavari chairs, great AC, a beautiful ceremony view, a rain option for the ceremony, nice meal choices, beautiful bridal suite, the hotel down the road with shuttles, and we loved the view on the deck that overlooks one of the courses. We went with the chicken francese, filet mignon, and penne alla vodka with green beans and roasted potatoes. I wouldn’t change our meals, they were great! My chicken and green beans were cooked perfectly! We had the former coordinator for the first 7 months of our planning. We found out she left and a lot of our details were not documented. This was very frustrating and scary, but coordinators change and it’s not the current staff’s fault. Make sure you get details in writing. With that said, Nancy and Shannon were great! Nancy honored details such as our ceremony start time, rehearsal dinner (highly recommend!), and we did not get charged the sparkler fee because that was a new change after our contract. Nancy and Shannon worked with our odd preferences such as served coffee and cake and bar open during dinner (added fee). We had a few sober groomsmen and Nancy picked up on this at our rehearsal dinner. She offered them NA beers that they had left over from another event and even offered to go on her own time to pick up more NA beer for them for the wedding since we weren’t from the area so they had something to drink- thank you for taking care of our guys!! There was a wedding the night before, but you would never know, other than the smell of bleach in the morning when we walked in, which tells me it’s clean! Having shuttles and the ability for guests to leave their cars overnight if needed was really appreciated too for safety. A huge shout-out to Frank and Gorilla for driving everyone around and making sure our guests were safe! Hotel: We used the Comfort Inn & Suites down the road for our block and after party and it was great! Rehearsal/Dinner: Officiants can help with rehearsals, but ours was a friend. Nancy did a great job telling us what to do and when. It was so easy, we were good with one run-through. We booked the overlook pavilion for the rehearsal dinner with a tab bar. They had nice tables with tablecloths set up. The weather was warm, but breezy and the doors were open for a cross breeze that was so nice. Bridal suite: We got shuttled in the morning to get ready and added the continental breakfast and mimosas. Know your timeline and when you need to be downstairs for the shuttle. We also opted for a private cocktail hour after the ceremony in the bridal suite for the bridal party. This was a great time for everyone to cool off, grab some food/drinks, and freshen up before the grand entrances. Bar- We did premium and added the extra hour during dinner. We also got the outside bar. We really didn’t have a large wedding that would call for 2 bars, but it was so nice for guests to be able to go outside and relax instead of just sitting at their table or going back and forth. The outside bar will pull guests outside and possibly away from the dance floor, but I didn’t care. I danced all night and was so happy that we had so many guests enjoying themselves with the great views outside and the cool night breeze. Our guests have been raving about the ceremony view and the ability to relax outside at night and understood why we chose Mountain Valley for our wedding.

When we first found Mountain Valley we were blown away with their all inclusive pricing and how beautiful the venue was. We originally signed a contract with their old event coordinator saying our prices wouldn't go up and then she left and that contract was void and everything went up 5%. We also were told our 6 month deposit was past due and no one contacted us. I know they were in the process of changing coordinators so I tried not to get upset but it was unneeded added stress. The rehearsal of the wedding was my least favorite thing. The day of coordinator stood off to the side and didn't help at all. Lucky my one bridesmaid does this for a living and stepped in to help. The day of the set up people were amazing and did everything the way I wanted. Shannon did a walk through with me that morning that made me feel at ease. The day of went very smoothly and everyone had a fantastic time. The shuttles were a huge help and the drivers were very sweet. The food quality was good and the wait staff/bartenders were wonderful.

I would stand in the freezing cold 100 times again to re-live my amazing wedding day at Mountain Valley Golf Course. My husband and I got married on 11/27/21. Our ceremony was outside and one thousand percent worth it. I began my planning journey with Elaine and a few months before my wedding Shannon and Nancy took over. Shannon and Nancy are not only genuinely kind but super accommodating. Shannon spent many hours on the phone with me making sure we had every detail just right. I always felt like I was their top priority even as they were planning many handfuls of weddings. Every single person I spoke to in affiliation with Mountain Valley was so sweet. Our guests had nothing but positive things to say about the venue and the mountain view. That view is absolutely stunning. Breathtaking. The venue is very spacious. It holds up to 300 people. We had around 110 guests which allowed so much space for dancing and mingling without feeling crowded. The bar area is large and nice! The venue leads out to a giant deck that overlooks part of the golf course which also has a bar. We did not have that bar open since it was super cold, but we did put 4 heaters out there to accommodate our guests that wanted to step outside for a moment. The food and drinks were delicious. I had a few guests with dietary restrictions (allergies, non-dairy, vegan, etc.) The coordinators and chef made sure everyone's meal was perfectly tailored to our guests. Let me tell you about the bridal suite at Mountain Valley. GORGEOUS!!! It was the absolute perfect place to get ready. We had 15 women getting ready, 4 ladies doing hair and make-up, a photographer, and a videographer all up there and there was still plenty of room. It never felt like there was a lack of space even with 20+ people. We ordered the continental breakfast while getting ready. It was the perfect touch to help us charge up for the day. From setting up to breakdown Shannon and Nancy took care of everything. They displayed my decorations perfectly and packed everything up in an organized manner. I am so sad that my wedding day is over. It was spent perfectly with friends and family in a gorgeous setting. I wish that I can someday be invited to another wedding at Mountain Valley to have so much fun all over again. Mountain Valley Golf Course will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

My husband and I are so glad we booked our wedding at Mountain Valley. Every part of the day was absolutely gorgeous. We held our ceremony in the Overlook Pavilion, and guests kept telling us that it looked like something out of a movie. The reception was stunning, the food and drinks were excellent, and the staff was so friendly. Nancy and Shannon kept everything running smoothly for our day. No part of our day was stressful thanks to their hard work. We highly recommend Mountain Valley!

Besides your spouse, one of the most important decisions during the wedding planning process is your venue. When I first started looking at wedding venues I swore that I wanted a rustic barn. My husband convinced me to look at Mountain valley because he wanted to get married where there was a beautiful view. Let me tell you, the first second I saw Mountain Valley I knew I had to get married there. From the ceremony site, to the reception, everything was absolutely perfect. Nancy and Shannon made sure our day went so smoothly and we are so incredibly grateful and thankful. Our guests told us that Mountain Valley was one of the nicest wedding venues they had ever seen. The entire staff is amazing and put up with our rowdy almost 200 guests. No other venue we looked at compared to Mountain Valley when it came to quality for cost. Get married here, I promise you will not regret it! We had an amazing day and will cherish it forever.

Mountain Valley is the best! We had the most beautiful wedding! From the ceremony at the overlook to the indoor reception, everything was amazing. We did have some slight worry when we found out the original wedding coordinator had left a month before our wedding, but Shannon and Nancy stepped in and made sure everything was taken care of. Any questions or concerns we had they were available to answer and assist. Shannon, Nancy, and the wedding team did an amazing job setting everything up and getting everything together at the end of the night. We also really enjoyed being able to have everything at one location to make it easy for our guests. Thank you Mountain Valley for making our day so special!

TLDR: Venue is gorgeous, food is delicious. Unnecessary stress was caused giving the bride a panic attack and all concerns stated felt like it fell on deaf ears. There were a plethora of issues we had just in the three weeks prior to our wedding. Unfortunately I was over the 3500 word count with all the issues, so I had to make it a bit shorter.It was made to seem like Elaine was incompetent, when it’s obvious from the MANY five star reviews she was anything but. Shannon, the fill in coordinator until the new one started on the 6th, was obviously thrown in with little to no idea what was all included. We were told we didn’t have a hotel room, which was indeed included in our package, we were told our beers were never ordered (LIE), and we had to change two of our appetizers. One wasn’t offered because of covid anymore, but the other was replaced but then still miraculously there wedding day? Only two of our tables got any of the appetizers anyway from what I was told. My mom had to go around and turn the center pieces on, which were supposed to be on when guests got back. Ken, someone high up, had called to apologize for how “terrible” Elaine was with our wedding. And that’s all he did for us was say sorry repeatedly. I had a panic attack and bawled my eyes out because of all the stress these issues caused. Britney that helped with the rehearsal on Saturday was wonderful. She was super sweet. If you’re the new coordinator, I wish you the best of luck.

We had both our ceremony and reception at Mountain Valley and it was absolutely the most beautiful day of our life. The ceremony overlook location is something out of a fairy tale. We're still getting compliments from guests that our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they've been too. The reception space is equally as great with all the natural light and access to the outdoor deck. The wedding coordinator, Elaine, is wonderful to work with and helpful from start to finish! The whole team is fabulous and our day could not have been more perfect.

Our wedding planning process had some pretty big hiccups with COVID, but in the end, we had an absolutely perfect wedding day at Mountain Valley thanks to the friendly staff and gorgeous venue! Our guests were blown away by the gorgeous overlook ceremony site, and they especially loved the food during cocktail hour. We would like to give a special thank you to Elaine, the wedding coordinator, for her tremendous help throughout our almost 2 1/2 year planning process. She made the process as painless as possible when we had to postpone our wedding by a year. She was so responsive to our questions and concerns, and she was available to consult with us at any time. She really pays attention to all of the little details in order to give you the wedding day of your dreams! We would also like to give a special thank you to Shannon for her help with our beautiful rehearsal dinner in the overlook pavilion and for also making sure that everything was in order on our wedding day. We truly had the best day thanks to Mountain Valley and all of the amazing staff, including servers, bar tenders, and shuttle drivers!

We were married 6/5/21. Elaine, wedding coordinator made everything perfect for us—very low stress on our part. Our guests loved the venue, The overlook and the amazing food. Would not have changed a thing. Besides Elaine who is our superwoman, I have to mention Shannon who decorated for us and Gregg who played several roles 2 of which were bringing my mom to the overlook in the golf cart and carving the incredible prime rib. I wish I knew all staff names-everyone worked so hard and were so professional and made our day incredible. You will not be sorry if you choose Mountain Valley for your wedding or special ebent

My husband, Zack, and I got married this past spring and had our reception at Mountain Valley Golf Course. We could not have imagined having our wedding at a more perfect venue. Our wedding coordinator, Elaine, was so helpful throughout our whole wedding process. We couldn't have done it without her! She made it possible for us to feel calm and collected on our wedding day. We were confident in her and knew that we wouldn’t have to worry about anything the day of (which was such a relief!). Also, the service that was provided at Mountain Valley was AMAZING. Our wedding guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the venue was and how fantastic the service was at our wedding. The guests were highly impressed with how speedy the service was and how quickly dinner was served. Lastly, the mashed potato bar was a huge hit amongst all of our guests! Everyone thought the idea was so creative (thank you Elaine!) and it was delicious. Overall, we both would HIGHLY recommend Mountain Valley Golf Course to any future couples looking for a wedding venue!

The venue is breathtaking with so many options for photos and options for ceremony location be it indoor or outdoor. We also loved that there were options to have our rehearsal dinner on-site. We had planned to get married outdoors at the overlook but it happened to rain on our day. No problem at Mountain Valley! They effortlessly relocated our ceremony to the gorgeous indoor location. Elaine and her team were incredible and helped us through the planning of every aspect of our day. The team worked hard to ensure that our day ran smoothly. Definitely 5 out of 5. We booked with Mountain Valley before Covid was a thing. Throughout the planning process, they (Elaine and management) worked with us to keep us up to date on guidelines and gave us contingency plans for each possible scenario. This helped us relax a great deal and take a lot of the pandemic planning stress away. The bridal suite was beautifully done and provided ample space to get ready in and relax. As for the rehearsal and wedding itself, they went perfectly. Everything was on time, set up perfectly, and the food was delicious. Our guests loved the appetizers and main meal. The ceremony site is beautiful and unique with a scenic mountain overlook in the background. The golf course made for great photo opportunities, and the deck outside the reception hall was perfect for guests to step out and enjoy the weather as the night went on. And the free shuttle service running between the hotel and reception was great. A huge thanks to Elaine, as she provided quick, thorough responses to our countless questions.

I just had my wedding reception at the course of 4/24 and I don’t have enough words to describe the incredible experience it is to have your wedding at Mountain Valley and to work with the amazing Wedding Coordinator, Elaine!! She is thoughtful, kind, and so communicative and supportive! She guided us seamlessly through all the steps from day 1!!! I felt so relieved every time I talked to her; she is passionate about her job and DAMN GOOD AT IT!! The food was also so delicious, it was the topic of so many conversations afterword! Wait staff was efficient and great. The day was perfect! The views from the course... EVEN BETTER! You will not be disappointed here, only blown away! Thank you Elaine and Mountain Valley for our beautiful day!!! We will definitely be back for other big events in the future :)

This location is buried pretty far on the list, and it really shouldn't be. Our wedding was in 2019, and I just realized I hadn't left a review (I'm the groom, go figure). I was so pleased with this location. We were thinking of going with a barn, etc but this really was the perfect spot for us. Amazing amount of photo ops, beautiful scenery, plenty of space, great decor and great food. Our planner from MV, Elaine, was helpful every step of the way in planning our big day. And on our big day, we had no worries and no stress. And THAT (as many will agree) is a huge asset. Were there issues? We know now that there were. But they were handled, and our day continued on without a hitch in the plan. Based on our experience, I would recommend hosting your wedding at Mountain Valley. P.s. this review is 18 months late...that should say something

Elaine is the true MVP - she was always reachable for any question we had, and takes care of so much I didn't even think of. Getting married during COVID was already stressful enough, but Mt. Valley takes safety very seriously and ensured our event was safe for everyone and in accordance with state restrictions. The space is stunning, the food is delicious, but the real selling point is that they care. They really go the extra mile to make the event special for you.

AMAZING experience with all of Mountain Valley employees. Elaine was such an attentive, kind hearted, and accommodating wedding planner. She did everything from keeping me informed, (especially with all Of the Covid) changing bar menus to fit our needs and keeping me up to date with all the changes. Being a bride in 2020 was a HARD time. Elaine was a perfect escape from all the craziness. Mountain valley gold course made our wedding the most perfect and gorgeous day I’ve every had. Our wedding was a fairy tail to say the least. We were completely taken care of thee entire time we were planning our wedding. Mountain valley was an amazing experience, time, and beautiful venue. My husband, David, and I hosted our reception at Mountain Valley on January 4, 2020. I cannot put into words how grateful we are to Elaine and her team! I remember our first meeting with Elaine before we had even booked the venue, we came out of our meeting and my mom looked at me and said “I’m sold already, you are never going to find an event coordinator more dedicated than Elaine.” My mom was so right! Elaine made sure every detail - big and small - was absolutely perfect! Elaine and her team had my entire guest list of 190 people served (salad and meals) in 11 minutes! I have been to plenty of weddings, some smaller than 190 and waited 40+ minutes to be served; the team at Mountain Valley is THE BEST! David and I received so many compliments on the food and the venue itself. Elaine made our entire reception effortless on our parts and we (and our family) were able to enjoy every single moment! I could continue on and on with compliments to Elaine and the staff at Mountain Valley; I have absolutely no complaints! I would recommend this reception venue 1000x over! Elaine, thank you so much for working so hard to make our every wish come true!

My husband and I had our wedding reception on 10/12/2019 at Mountain Valley and everything was exceptional! We received so many compliments about how great the food was and how beautiful the venue is. Elaine the wedding coordinator can make any idea you have come to life. She worked with us creating an ice cream bar for dessert which was amazing and was everything we'd hoped it would be! She was also seriously superwoman the day of, making sure everything was perfect, paying attention to every detail and always checking on the two of us to see if we needed anything. And during the planning process she was so helpful and was genuinely as excited for our wedding as we were. Our photo areas were limited due to the venue's previous experience with a photographer but the areas were still gorgeous. Their outlook area onto the mountains is just breathtaking. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this venue for your wedding and wedding reception.

So glad we chose Mountain Valley as our wedding venue. It was a gorgeous venue and Elaine was very helpful throughout the whole process. We were a little disappointed some of the food wasn’t to our expectations (like a forgotten sauce and incorrect vegetables) however they were able to make the sauce and the guests didn’t seem to know any different. If your family likes to eat like mine does, I suggest ordering more than the two choice appetizers that come with the standard package. Love that mountain valley and comfort inn work together and a shuttle service was available for all our out of town guests!

could not have had a more beautiful and truly magical experience at mountain valley golf course for our wedding. Our guests were truly taken aback by everything from the food to the facility to the GORGEOUS views of the fall foliage in the mountains. The BEST part of our entire experience was working with Elaine, she quite literally gave her all for even the most minor of details. She stopped at nothing to give us everything and anything we wanted. Her kindness, fun, and creativeness made you feel so important and welcomed. That really made all the difference. The entire staff was exceptional not to mention Comfort Inn and Suites amazing collaboration with Monutain Valley in giving us a holistic perfect experience. They were truly remarkable. You can not go wrong having your dream wedding in such an exceptional location.

Elaine helped me with anything that I needed and it was an incredible turnout! I received so many compliments on the venue, the food, the scenery, the decorations and I know that it was only possible because of Elaine. I HIGHLY recommend having a wedding or any event here. My husband and I were married on 9/7/2019 at Mountain Valley. It was the BEST DAY of our lives thanks to all of the staff at Mountain Valley. Everything was absolutely stunning and our whole vision came to life! From the first meeting with their wedding coordinator, Elaine, to our wedding day the whole experience was so enjoyable --- AND RELAXING! Elaine has years of experience to share with her couples to ensure their wedding day runs smoothly --- she doesn’t miss a detail. Throughout the whole planning process, she offered valuable suggestions to save time and money. She is very responsive – you can send her a text anytime with questions and she’s more than happy to get back to you. The venue is perfect! The Overlook area is absolutely breathtaking for the ceremony (and perfect for photos) and the reception area offers an indoor/outdoor atmosphere with a large deck. The food was delicious and pleasantly served to all our guests (210) in a very reasonable time. The bridal suite upstairs was the perfect place for me and my girls to get ready in that morning. Most importantly, they have the friendliest staff. From picking up guest in the shuttles, to setting up for the reception, to serving food, the team was more than happy to ensure the day was perfect for us! Mountain Valley also owns a hotel a few miles up the road for out of town guests --- the hotel was so welcoming and clean! The party room at the hotel was perfect for our guests to relax and unwind together after the celebration! It was a very stress free day for both my husband, myself and our parents – Elaine and her team had everything under control. I would HIGHLY recommend Mountain Valley to all couples looking for stunning views, a great staff, and a long list of amenities. You definitely can’t go wrong with Mountain Valley!

Elaine and her team were completely professional, easy to contact, and assisted us from start to finish. They paid attention to every single detail we incorporated into the ceremony & reception. They truly helped make sure the day was absolutely perfect. We planned our wedding from South Carolina which is not an easy feat, but through constant communication with our fantastic coordinator Elaine, the day was unbelievable. We had several guests tell us that Mountain Valley hosted the best wedding they have ever attended. I would give them 10 stars if I could!!! Simply spectacular.

We visited this wedding venue a year and a half ago and fell in love with it. The day finally came and it fell nothing short of perfect. Elaine and the rest of the staff decorated and organized an amazing wedding for my husband and I! It was raining off and on and I told her no matter what I wanted it outside and she made it work! There was no stress and I never needed to ask for anything it was already done! I highly recommend this wedding venue to anyone! Keep up the great work mountain valley! We will be back every year for dinner to celebrate our anniversary as well since the food is so delicious.

Elaine, the wedding coordinator is absolutely amazing!!! From the time we booked the venue to when we had our last meeting, she was a ton of help. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to planning weddings. She gave us tips and suggestions about how to make our day run smoothly. She keeps in touch with couples during planning to make sure you are booking vendors and keeping up with things that need to be done. She ensures you that she is there to meet with you as many times as you need to get all the details ironed out and answer all of the questions you have. She is only a text or a phone call away and always answered in a timely manner. When the big day finally arrived I was confident the she had everything under control and I was able to enjoy the day with my bridesmaids, family,friends and my husband stress free! I wanted to truly enjoy our wedding day- to be able to relax wth family and close friends and really celebrate all of life's greatest gifts. Choosing Mountain Valley as our venue really made that happen. Elaine is the events coordinator there- she is incredibly knowledgeable about putting on events and whether you're very organized or a procrastinator like myself, she will ensure that everything is taken care of for your big day. I really cannot brag enough about the beautiful person she is and what a huge part of making the process go well she is. I was astounded at how fast she was to answer all our questions (and we had so many!) and how quick she was to help us do everything. Putting on an event takes a lot of people, and I just have to also say that every person that we interacted with on the staff (shout out to Gorilla/Robert, Jodi, Noel, and Reese in particular!) went above and beyond to make us and all our guests feel really special and taken care of. Weddings usually have a lot of out of town guests or adult beverages, so the shuttle to and from the nearby Comfort Inn and Suites was a life saver for us and all our guests. Everyone commented on how impeccably clean and comfortable everything was there.And finally, let's not forget that the venue itself is gorgeous as well- everyone commented on what a secret treasure the place is. No matter what the weather (rain or shine!), you will have a place to enjoy and a picturesque view. If you have a wedding ceremony there you can rest easy because there are both amazing outdoor and indoor places to have it. If you're planning a big event (wedding or otherwise), you can confidently choose Mountain Valley as your destination!

My husband and I were just married here in April and cannot say enough about the venue and amazing staff that made our day perfect! We endured heavy rain and a tornado warning, but somehow the day remained perfect and stress free due to the hard work of this amazing staff! One of the staff members (goes by the name of Gorilla) was even outside in torrential rain hanging Christmas lights on the deck for us! If you are looking to have the most perfect day ever with the least amount of stress, look no further than Mountain Valley. Along with the rest of the staff, Elaine, our wedding coordinator went above and beyond. She took care of everything for us. She was more than just a wedding coordinator for our venue...I felt like we hired a wedding planner strictly for us without the added cost. I distinctly remember her getting back to me at 10 PM on a weekend with answers reassuring me that she had it all handled. Thank you Mountain Valley staff! Everybody had such a good time that they wish we could do it again :-)

She went above and beyond with assisting having everything we wanted and more . The day of the wedding she was there until it was over making sure everything ran perfectly. It was great knowing that we did not have to stress out over all the little things . There is not a thing my wife and I would change on our special day.The food, beverage service, facilities, and ambiance were beyond exceptional. It ended up being a little cold out that day, their staff took us around in the shuttle and made sure we warm while getting pictures taken on the course . The wedding team was very professional and helpful through all the stages of planning the wedding.The outdoor ceremony area overlooking Locust Lake was beautiful and the reception area looked stunning. We enjoyed the opportunity to golf with the wedding party on Mountain Valley’s championship golf courses. The staff was friendly and eager to ensure that all our guests had a wonderful time and enjoyed their meal.At the close of the evening the bride and groom, families, wedding guests used the convenient shuttle at Mountain Valley to stay at nearby Comfort Inn and Suites. The venue was very accommodating and exceeded our every expectation.

A dream wedding! My husband and I always dreamed of getting married on top of a mountain and Mountain Valley Golf Course made that a reality, giving us the most beautiful wedding. Our wedding was the best day ever thanks to Mountain Valley. From the beginning, Elaine, the wedding coordinator, was so friendly and helpful, making our planning process a breeze. She was never pushy, always listened and truly cared about our vision and making our day as perfect as possible. She is super responsive, you can shoot her a text anytime with questions and she's more than happy to get right back to you--making me a happy bride! The venue itself was just perfect. The ceremony site's breathtaking views, the beautiful modern rustic reception area with a large deck guests can go outside on (we're from Jersey, but can't stand the gaudy ballrooms! This venue is just gorgeous with the high ceilings, openness, brick accents and mountain views), an awesome golf course the groom and his friends can play on while the bride and her girls are getting ready (they had the best time ever), delicious food!! Our guests raved to us about the prime rib, shrimp and crab wasabi bites, spring rolls, and pretty much everything else :), the bridal suite upstairs was so convenient too! After the ceremony my husband and I and a few of the bridal party went up their and had cocktails and food delivered to us. You're going to need this breather, it was wonderful! And most importantly the friendliest staff!! Not only was Elaine great, the entire staff at Mountain Valley was soo kind and super accommodating. If you needed a table moved or a shuttle at a certain time, the team was more than happy to make it happen. EVERYONE at Mountain Valley really cares and wants you to have the best day ever. We really didn't stress at all because Elaine and the team were so kind, helpful and had it under control.I wish I could I do it every day!! It was such a great time. I HIGHLY recommend this venue to all brides and grooms who want to work with caring people, get breathtaking mountain and woodland photos, eat great food, receive compliments ;) and just have the best day ever.You certainly can't go wrong with Mountain Valley! If I could give 100 stars I would. My daughters wedding was at Mountain Valley on 9/22/18 and it was spectacular. Elaine was amazing. She assured me (mother of the bride) at our first meeting that it would be perfect and it was. We had our rehearsal dinner there as well. The ceremony site is gorgeous ~ the reception venue is beautiful - the food is delicious and the staff was top notch. 180 guests served in 17 minutes. You won’t have a worry in the world if you work with Elaine.

Shannon and her team are personable and professional. Everything went perfectly because everyone does everything in their power to ensure the day flows seamlessly. Our guests raved about the wedding site overlooking the lake, the food, drinks and views from the reception venue. From setting up the wedding site, to the table settings, everyone was so friendly and efficient. We would definitely recommend Mountain Valley to anyone who wants a beautiful venue and personable service.

Our wedding at Mountain Valley was everything and more! I cannot stress enough how helpful Shannon was. With every step of the way her communication was amazing! I think the best part of working with Mountain Valley and Shannon, was that we stayed in communication and everything was so easily explained. This venue lets you have your own ideas and opinions on what you want your dream wedding to look like and they go above and beyond to make sure it is carried through! During the reception the staff was friendly and attentive, the bar tenders were constantly working and everything was so well managed by Crista.Choosing this venue to hold our ceremony and reception made the not so fun aspects of planning so much more enjoyable and the end results was more than I could have hoped for!

Shannon and the entire wedding team at Mountain Valley are amazing !!! My entire day went flawless even with the rainy conditions of the day... had to hold our ceremony under the pavilion instead of the overlook and it was still fantastic... Shannon made all the important decisions so I didnt have to worry about anything that day but walking down the aisle to meet my husband...if I could do it all over again (and I wish I could) I wouldn’t change a thing! The venue was perfect for my country wedding with the wooden beams around the room and over head... the bridal room was perfect for us to get ready in and the room overlooking all the guest before we were introduced was super cool!

Mountain Valley Golf Course and our wedding coordinator Shannon helped make our wedding day a success! Shannon and her staff are very organized and efficient. While offering many suggestions and ideas, Shannon still made sure, the final decision was ours. The Mountain Valley team was helpful, courteous, and diligent the entire day! They made sure everything was set up for the ceremony and the reception. The Wedding went perfectly and that was thanks to Shannon and her wonderful team. I would absolutely suggest Mountain Valley Golf Course to other brides for their special day!

Mountain Valley was truly the most perfect location for our wedding. Our ceremony site overlooked the lake and was absolutely beautiful. It was so reassuring that there was a pavilion nearby to have as our backup plan in case of bad weather during the time of the ceremony. We enjoyed utilizing the bridal suite upstairs to get ready in, and to enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres with our bridal party during the cocktail hour. The reception flowed perfectly and dancing out on the deck was so much fun. Our sparkler sendoff at the end of the night ran very smoothly, too. Mountain Valley's food and drinks are delicious! The staff was extremely accommodating to our guests' specific dietary needs and they provided excellent, quick service. Shannon, our wedding planner, was SO helpful throughout the planning process, and organized everything for our big day. The staff that decorated the venue did an incredible job and I was amazed at just how perfect it looked. We also enjoyed utilizing the shuttle that was provided to go back and forth from the venue to the hotel (Comfort Inn & Suites), just a short distance away. It was so convenient for all of our out-of-town guests to stay in a hotel so close to the venue. Mountain Valley as a whole is so well-kept and stunning. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue.

Mountain Valley was not only amazing but exceeded our expectations as a wedding venue! Everyone involved was so kind and knowledgeable, we couldn't ask for a better team. As the bride, I was very concerned about every little detail and was initially uncertain when I was told we couldn't set up the day before as there was another wedding then. However, walking into the reception I was overwhelmed at how beautiful everything turned out. No detail was forogotten - it was more beautiful than I could have imagined! Our guests had nothing but compliments about the food, service at the bar, facilities, and more. If you want to have as little stress as possible on your wedding day but know everyone involved is making sure your day flawless, choose Mountain Valley! Finally, I felt like it was five star NYC quality for a very reasonable price.

Mt. Valley was the perfect setting for our September 2016 wedding. We had both the ceremony and reception on site. They were very easy to work with and were so accommodating... especially to our unique requests. Deana is a fantastic event planner and paid attention to each and every detail. Considering we had MANY out of town guests, having the shuttle back and forth to the hotel was a big seller. We would highly recommend Mt. Valley to anyone who is looking for an outstanding venue for their special event.

My wedding was on October 1st, 2016 at Mountain valley Golf Course and I could have no asked for a better vendor!! The food was amazing as well as the staff! They were very easy to work with and made sure all my needs were met for my special day! It was truly breathing taking the whole reception and everything went smoothly! A big thanks to Jessica Murphy, Shannon Madden, and Carol Matarazzo!! Without they ladies I do not know what I would have done!!!

I cannot say enough about the staff and management at Mountain Valley. They assisted in the preparation for my daughter's wedding for over a year. The facility is beautiful and the food was excellent. I would recommend Mountain Valley to anyone who is thinking of with having a formal wedding or a casual wedding, they can host both and accommodate any wishes the bride and groom may have.

The staff at Mountain Valley did everything to make our vision come true for our special day. Of course It was easy to make mountain valley look like and elegant and rustic ballroom because it already is so beautiful. Our guests loved being able to dance the night away with All of the glass doors opening to see the crowd on the deck. It's perfect for a crowd that likes the inside and outside of a venue combined. The food was better at our wedding than it was at our tasting. Our guests raved about it. Prices weren't over the top and anything we requested which was not much they made happen. I highly recommend!

We had the best wedding experience at Mountain Valley. The wedding coordinator (Dena) was friendly, helpful, and easy to contact. The servers were very happy during the reception. The food was delicious! The views were amazing as we watched the sunset and our fireworks on the deck. Everyone had so much fun! We could not have asked for a better wedding reception!

Holding our recpetion at Mountain Valley was a great decision. The venue offers a great package that includes planning meetings, so the only thing you need to do on the day of your wedding is show up!! Everything from the decorations to the meal was taken care of. One thing I would have done differently is pay for the extra hour of party time as none of our guests wanted to leave!!
