Everyone at Mount Hood Meadows helped make our wedding an amazing day. Arcadia was amazing and very communicative and helpful with all of our questions leading up to the event. The day itself was beyond incredible, they were there to help every step of the way from checking in at Cooper Spur to helping with setup and of course making sure the rehearsal dinner went perfectly. We had some weather hiccups, weren't anticipating rain, but they opened up more areas of the venue for us to be able to do photos. Everyone that helped out at the wedding itself from servers to Jaime coordinating it were amazing. I don't have enough words to express how great they are here. It is definitely an amazing place to have an event! Reviewed on 22-11-2023
Kelly Yamamoto(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-12-2022 Mt. Hood Meadows/Cooper Spur will always have a special place in our hearts after our wedding in December 2022. Such a spectacular venue (especially in the winter-- truly a winter wonderland!). Our guests commented on how special and unique of an experience it was. Both Mt. Hood Meadows and Cooper Spur staff were very helpful and accommodating of any request we made. It was super fun to rent almost all of Cooper Spur out for all of our out of town guests and have even more time with our loved ones. We did a rehearsal dinner and after party at Cooper Spur which were also super fun and cozy. Also, this venue was one of the most affordable we looked at (especially in non-peak wedding season), well worth the price! If you are looking for a unique venue, a spectacular place for wedding photos, and somewhere you can continue to visit and remember your special day, look no further than Mt. Hood Meadows/Cooper Spur :) Reviewed on 22-12-2022
Mariah Cooper(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-06-2022 I cannot express how perfect of a venue Mt. Hood Meadows was for our wedding. The entire process was super helpful and stress free. Amber and Belen were great with details, suggestions and planning, we were able to work with their chef to make our dream menu. During the day of the staff was INCREDIBLE, even our guests could not stop talking about how impressive they were. The venue is gorgeous and speaks for itself, it was an experience to get married there. Absolutely the best day. Reviewed on 03-07-2022
Moira Reilly(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-09-2017 My wife and I rented out the entire property for our wedding at this venue as I'm a native NYer and we live together in Portland, OR and had 60+ out of towners coming in for the event. Throughout the entire planning process, we felt like we had a friend in the Cooper Spur staff. They were open to any ideas we had and really worked to make sure the event was everything we were hoping for. We had a Friday night dinner for 100+ people, we took advantage of the continental breakfast on Saturday morning and added some hot dishes. My wife's sister is a yoga instructor and led a yoga class on the lawn after breakfast. We had a wine and cheese event for our guests at noon. We were married in the gorgeous back lawn of the log house at 4 pm and had our reception in the tent on the grand lawn following. The bar was kept open on Saturday night for our guests and we had a hosted keg for the entire weekend. Sunday morning concluded with the continental breakfast and more hot dishes added. Every single person we encountered at Cooper Spur was lovely, professional and so accommodating. From the grounds staff to the hotel staff, waiters and bartenders were all lovely to our guests and of course to my wife and me. The setting was gorgeous and we were able to accommodate 80 overnight guests comfortably. Our friends and family raved about the experience and are still talking about what a lovely time it was. We really felt like it allowed the different parts of our lives to come together and intermingle. We agreed when we started planning that the most important part of our wedding, for us, was that we celebrated the foundations of love in our life that allowed us to live the way we wanted - we wanted to host our friends and family so they felt like the most integral piece of our wedding. Cooper Spur allowed us to do so. Cannot tell you how much I appreciated every single member of the staff. Reviewed on 10-12-2019
Casey Hase(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-09-2019 Gorgeous setting, delicious food, and a very professional staff! We really enjoyed our wedding here. We had the ceremony, reception, and after party on site. Everything went smoothly with the venue helping every step of the way. Lodging on site is in awesome log cabins and lodge rooms though it is expensive to spend the night. We particularly enjoyed that many things were included and set up by their staff though the dance floor costs extra which we weren't originally told. Though the staff did go above and beyond in helping us and our family. Recommended for an unforgettable Big Day celebration. Reviewed on 01-12-2019
Laura Brown(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-08-2018 We loved our having our wedding at Cooper Spur. The staff were so helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process, respecting our wishes and helping make things happen. They were always prompt on replying and answered all of our questions with patience and enthusiasm. They made the behind the scenes work look and feel effortless (though I know it wasn't!). We really appreciated everything that they did for us, and how welcome our crew felt. Additionally, being dog-friendly was a plus, as all my dog-sitters were at the wedding! Our cabin was comfortable, and all our guests said how much they loved being able to walk outside and greet other folks. It was a whole weekend party! Perfect for my family, as most of them were flying in from the East Coast. Proximity to the airport was perfect, and the drive up to Mt. Hood gave guests an amazing view of the Gorge. Plus having Mt. Hood in the background helped us to share our love of the mountains and Oregon with our family! We loved our wedding, thanks Cooper Spur! Reviewed on 04-10-2018

My daughter and now son-in-law were married at this rustically beautiful resort on Oregon's iconic Mt. Hood in July 2018. The skies were blue, the mountain was shining bright, and their friends filled the resort's cabins and condos on Friday and Saturday nights, enjoying such activities as mountain biking, yoga, and tennis between the wedding festivities. Everything went off without a hitch, and we're grateful for the support we received from Christina and the operations team. They were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with at all times. We had a great experience and recommend Cooper Spur highly. Reviewed on 03-08-2018
Lindsay Buchanan(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-07-2018 Cooper Spur was the first venue we visited and we were in love from the start. Where else can you drive into the woods, with amazing views of Mt Hood, rent out the whole place, and spend the weekend with all your loved ones?? It's such a special place, and Sara and Christina went above and beyond to make our vision a reality. They have multiple spots for welcome dinners, ceremonies, and brunch, and it was just perfect. We can't wait to go back and celebrate anniversaries there! Reviewed on 01-08-2018
Rochelle Felix(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-01-2018 Planning a family winter vacation plus our wedding for about 20 of us flying in from Hawaii was no easy task. However, the first Sara we worked with made it so easy. She was so thorough & made us feel at ease. We knew from this point that Cooper Spur was going to be amazing for us. Then, first Sara went on to a different job & another Sara took her place. Working with her was just as smooth & effortless. To plan such a special day & memorable time from a distance can be crazy & difficult but with the Cooper Spur crew...it was a wonderful experience. I could trust that everything we wanted would get done. And it did, down to the barbeque grill outside of the Log Home so that my then soon-to-be husband could BBQ in the snow. The night he BBQ'd was so clear, we could see the beauty of Mt. Hood from our backyard of the Log Home. We all had the most memorable, awesome white Christmas winter family vacay at Cooper Spur. We absolutely loved the Log Home. We had SO MUCH FUN! We had a lot of fun playing in \"the backyard\" of the Deluxe Log Cabin too. We made our own snow slide, took walks by the creek & through the beautiful \"Christmas\" trees, and played in the court full of snow. Our wedding day...OH MY GOODNESS...it couldn't have gone any more perfect! We were getting sad because for a few days after Christmas, the trees were defrosting & the snow was disappearing. I know asking for snow to fall on the actual wedding day was asking for a lot but I really wanted frosted trees. And low & behold...Jack Frost paid us a visit a day or two before the wedding & decided to frost all the trees & deliver a beautiful fog on our day. On top of that, a little bit of wind during the ceremony blew the frost off the trees that made it look like it was snowing! Just amazing! It was absolutely perfect. The dinner...Barb, Jaime, Tony, & Nicole blew me away. I gave them what I brought & they ran with it & placed it better than I could've. The dinner was exactly what we wanted. The dining room ambience with the cozy fireplace is so ‘us’. It has a Harry Potter feel to it too, in which I’m a big fan. The food was great and Tony made sure all guests were taken care of. We love how intimate & cozy Cooper Spur is. We have made priceless memories at Cooper Spur and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you Cooper Spur! Reviewed on 25-03-2018
Britta McCarter(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-04-2019 My husband and I were married at Cooper Spur last May and we are so happy that we chose to have our celebration there! I don't know where to begin in describing how satisfied we are with our Cooper Spur experience. From the very beginning the Cooper Spur staff made everything so easy and fun for us. The wedding coordinator Sara felt to me like the equivalent of hiring a wedding planner, she responded to emails promptly, she knew all of the little details about our wedding, she did most of the outside bookings for us, and she ensured that everything was on track for our wedding day. When I had questions, she was either one step ahead of me and already had an answer or was able to quickly find an answer. We really wanted to get married around Mt. Hood and we also wanted a venue where most of our guests could stay. Having 90+ of our guests staying at the resort with us made for the most memorable weekend. It was great that friends who had not previously met could get to know each other in this type of setting before the big celebration. We had very little to worry about on the weekend of the wedding since we were in such good hands with the Cooper Spur staff, who really took care of us. The day of our wedding ended up being rainy/snowy, the CS crew was flexible enough to let us wait until just before the ceremony to decide where it would be held – they definitely put our feelings first as this could easily have created a lot more work for them. All in all, I would recommend Cooper Spur for a wedding over and over again. We loved the location, the food, the service staff, and absolutely loved having such an efficient team to work with while planning our wedding! Reviewed on 15-02-2018
