To Ariana and team, thank you so much for helping coordinate our wedding. You represent the venue but you were always so kind, willing to listen to my feedback, work with us and I am so grateful! Maybe I’m a cynic or just still a city girl at heart, but I had low expectations for the event. It’s a seaside town in CT in the off season, how good could the staff be? But they were wonderful, so professional, so attentive, so happy to help! The transformation of the space was incredible and none of it could have happened without your help. Ariana went beyond the calls of her job and I thank you for helping me to create our perfect wedding day. It was flawless, not a single hiccup, nothing I would change and I am incredibly thankful to you! For venue owners, the building needs some updates and maintenance – paint would go a long way! When the lights are turned down for an evening event though, you can’t really tell!

I had the MYC bookmarked on my computer since 2015 when I saw a blog post with pictures of a wedding at this venue. There are no words to describe how beautiful this space is!! This is the only wedding venue my husband and I looked at because we knew from the initial visit that we had hit the jackpot. The location is perfect, the view of the river makes for the most beautiful photo backdrop, the 2-level layout makes cocktail hour feel special and different from the reception. The architecture of this building is unlike anything we (or our guests!) have ever seen before. Upstairs is beautiful and intimate, and so elegant and different from any other venue we've ever seen at other weddings. Ariana is professional and so organized, she worked with our day of coordinator to make sure everything ran smoothly. And the FOOD!!! We have truly never had such an amazing meal at a wedding before. Our guests are STILL commenting about how delicious the steak and crab cakes were. In our opinion, the MYC is THE place to host a memorable, intimate, elegant, delicious, and classic New England wedding.

Wedding Date 08-06-2019
We had our wedding reception at the Mystic Yachting Center this past June. The venue is beautiful and the location is excellent. Katie is amazing to work with. She answered all of my questions so quickly and allowed for my husband and I to view the venue multiple times before the wedding. She made the whole process so much easier. Unfortunately, she is not the one helping you on your wedding day. For the wedding day we had Ashley (who I had met only 1 time prior) as the banquet manager helping us. She did not follow the timeline I had worked with Katie and my other vendors to create. She messed up dinner service so much that the band and photographer had to completely change their schedule and my husband and I ended up wasting time waiting for her and then missed dancing time. She did not follow any of our predetermined instructions for our favors or desserts. We had cake boxes that we wanted served to guests with their cake (which she said she understood and would do). Instead she took the cake away 15 minutes after serving it and then delivered the empty cake boxes to only some guests. So half the guests got an empty box. Also, when the reception was over she refused to give my mom the top tier of our cake. My mom asked multiple times and Ashley said she would go get it and never did. So we never got the top tier of cake we paid for. For food, he appetizers were phenomenal. The main course was good, we had 3 options and the meat and fish were excellent but the chicken parm was subpar. The chicken parm was much better at our tasting. If you choose this vendor, I recommend hiring someone as a day of coordinator. Ashley is supposed to do this but she is incapable. The only issues that occurred on my wedding day are 100% her fault and I wish I had hired someone to make sure Ashley did her job. If you want a venue that will take care of everything for you so you don't have to worry the day of your wedding, I would look elsewhere. Shame because the venue is so beautiful.

From booking our event from half a country away, to the service we received during the rehearsal and day of the wedding, everything and everyone was perfect!

The staff and location are perfect for an easy wedding on the river. I couldn't recommend Katie and her team enough. The food through Ocean Blue Catering that is associated withe facility is great and the location is close to the hotels in Mystic which makes for easy transport.

We cannot say enough about the Mystic Yachting Center and all the staff. Katie was so helpful throughout the whole process and made wedding planning from out of state so easy! Ashley was awesome on the day of the wedding and made sure everything ran smoothly and was exactly how we wanted. The food was amazing and our guests were so impressed with the whole venue.!

We cannot say enough about the Mystic Yachting Center and all the staff. Katie was so helpful throughout the whole process and made wedding planning from out of state so easy! Affordable and Katie is great to deal with! We had a wedding of 80 people, we had a 3 hour open beer and wine bar along with a multi-cultural buffet and it was less than 8k!!! We had multiple over the phone and in person meetings, and I was and still am extremely confident in the Yachting center. Plus beautiful pictures!

My husband and I had our wedding here this past June. It was perfect. The venue is gorgeous inside and outside. It’s right on the water. The staff was so friendly. The food was great. I really can’t say enough about the Mystic Yachting Center. Katie was our wedding coordinator. She was very understanding when we had an issue and had to change our wedding date and when it came to our budget. My wedding day was just perfect. I’m so glad we decided on Mystic Yachting Center.

My husband and I had our wedding here this past June. It was perfect. The venue is gorgeous inside and outside. It’s right on the water. The staff was so friendly. The food was great. I really can’t say enough about the Mystic Yachting Center. Katie was our wedding coordinator. She was very understanding when we had an issue and had to change our wedding date and when it came to our budget. My wedding day was just perfect. I’m so glad we decided on Mystic Yachting Center.

Beautiful venue right on the water, we knew as soon as we visited that this was where we wanted to get married! Katie was so helpful and easy to work with to plan our big day! The venue is perfect with ocean views, beautiful woodworking inside and lots of windows, super nautical! And our guests also really enjoyed the large deck! We highly recommend this spot!

We had a perfect day at a beautiful venue! Everything from the outdoor ceremony, to the cocktail hour on the porch, to the reception with the incredible views, was impressive. Katie and her staff were more than helpful not only on the day of our wedding, but also in the months leading up to it, making our day stress free. We received many compliments on both the venue and the food, and we felt the price was very reasonable for what we got. We had such a wonderful night and wish we could relive it all over again! Thank you MYC!

A huge plus for us was that this venue only hosts one wedding per day so the property was exclusively ours. The sales manager, Katie Kernozek, was so easy to work with and very professional. Her catering staff and banquet manager, Ashley, made sure every detail was executed on time and transitioned the bridal party and guests seamlessly from ceremony through the reception. We were also thrilled to have a kitchen on-site – the food was fresh and perfectly prepared. Our guests are still talking about the quality of the food and service! We would highly recommend the Mystic Yachting Center as an event venue for anyone looking for great location, food and service.

The Mystic Yachting Center is in such a beautiful location in Mystic, CT. It is in a quiet, private little spot right on the water on the other side of the drawbridge away from the Seaport. Beautiful decks for taking photos. Beautiful wrap-around deck for the perfect cocktail hour.\r\rThe building is very beautiful and unique, the upstairs is where the dinner/dancing takes place. 4 huge windows upstairs with beautiful views for guests to enjoy while eating their dinners. \r\rI would recommend not trying to fit more than 120-130 guests for a sit down reception. They advertise that 150 people could fit comfortably, but I could not imagine that! We ended up having 115 people (instead of the 150 people we thought we might have) come to our wedding reception, and it seemed like everyone just fit. We had 12 tables that could fit 10 people each, I really could not imagine them squishing 3 more tables in that room!\r\rBesides the potential space issue, everything else was perfect.
