I cannot say enough positive words about our experience with Nature Pointe! The venue is absolutely breathtaking. They took care of every detail and made our wedding day all that I imagined. If you are looking for a magical wedding venue in New Mexico, this is the dream!! Reviewed on 02-08-2023

They were quick to respond and easy to coordinate everything with. From the moment we booked to leaving on our wedding day, everything was handled professionally with a great demeanor. Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness, ValueMy husband and I have been robbed of a wedding day by this venue! We signed on back in 2019, we put a large deposit down so we wouldn't have to make to make payments until 30 days prior to our event (big mistake). That is what our contracted agreement was back in 2019! Thanks to Covid, the venue was unable to provide or accomidate the one hundred and fifty people that we were paying for. We were told that if we got married and had just the reception without a ceremony there would not be an extra fee to move our date... MIND YOU we were in the middle of a pandemic! We should have been able to move everything without a penalty fee. No consideration for their customers during covid! Low and behold, we got married and planned on having just a reception, we did this in July of 2020 only to find out that they changed their \"rules\" and we were one of the only couples who did this. Now married already having a small intimate gathering, being pulled through the ringer with this venue we wanted our money back. Of course this was not an easy task either, the final straw was when we were sent an invoce for the remaining balance for our \"corporate event\". They have done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR US and they have the nerve to ask for more money!? I asked about the invoice, and explained that when we signed on in 2019 we agreed to pay the rest 30 days prior to our event (planned for June of 2022), their response was \"management sent a statement\" and nothing else was said...WHAT STATEMENT? They made the easiest two thousand dollars off us for doing nothing.... I am so upset with this venue. If you are considering this venue for your wedding, please be advised. Don't put more down then what they are asking for, make sure they have a covid plan in the contract. PLEASE READ. Reviewed on 03-11-2021

All of our guests had the best time & said that our wedding was the most beautiful wedding they have attended. Nature Pointe is gorgeous & was everything we wanted & more in a venue. Having Brandie was also a blessing. She took care of everything the day of the wedding & ensured both myself & my wife were taken care of. I would 100/10 recommend this venue to anyone! We LOVED it. Amanda Pollock(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-06-2019 Nature Pointe caught our interest from the photos online. When we visited in person, it blew us away. It was the first venue we visited and nothing else came close to holding as much charm, character and beauty as this place did. Its even more gorgeous in person! The venue offers a lot of ameneties, which helps to lower the amount of vendors and decorations needed. Being able to choose our caterer AND supply all of our own alcohol was definitely a bonus! It lowered a lot of our wedding costs.Courtney was an awesome coordinator. She helped create our timeline and responded to all of our queries very fast. The entire staff was very professional and friendly. We had a smaller wedding and they still had a lot of staff to ensure that our day went as planned! We couldn't have chosen a more stunning, charming and picturesque venue!I would highly recommend getting married or throwing a party here! Jessica H L(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-06-2019 When we looked for vendors, we based our choices on the services themselves, of course, but also on the interactions we had with the staff. From the moment we met Courtney, we felt at ease with her, unlike other vendors who made us feel nickel and dimed. She was an absolutely amazing resource for help with everything leading up to the wedding and on the day of. Her colleague, Leslie, took on our final details meeting which fell at a very stressful time for my husband and I. She handled our stress with grace and patience, which I truly appreciate. Nature Pointe is also dog friendly which was super important to us as our dogs are how we met & a huge part of our life and family! They were treated just as well as our other guests. Additionally, Nature Pointe provides all the chairs and tables, linens, and had a ton of decorative elements that are included in the cost- we basically only needed to bring flowers and other personal touches. They do all of the setup and breakdown for you! My husband and I as well as our families were super impressed by Nature Pointe and would recommend it to anyone! Reviewed on 14-06-2019

It was easily accessible for the guests, surprisingly affordable, and beautifully captures a modern take on the New Mexico style. The Venue Director, Courtney, did a wonderful job of coordinating before and during the event to have a smooth, low-stress experience. Mrs. V(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-08-2017 A very beautiful venue nestled in the east mountains of Albuquerque. If you're looking for a southwestern new mexican aesthetic for your wedding, Nature Pointe would be perfect. It is very important to note that this is a community clubhouse, that is paid for with the HOA fees from residents in the community. Therefore, they are very strict as far as alcohol and guest access around the property. Alcohol isn't allowed in the dressing rooms during \"get ready\" time, which is a huge disappointment, considering the need for relaxation during that stressful time! They are very strict about serving alcohol as well. If you book an event here, make sure you clearly communicate the strict rules to your guests. You might need to have signs posted at the bar and around the spaces. Make sure the guests are aware of the HOA, private property limits and when they say \"everyone out at 10pm\" they REALLY mean it. If we were reminded to communicate with our guests about the strict rules, it would have been a much smoother day for people involved in confrontations. As the bride, I didn't deal with much confrontation the day-of, which is great, but hearing about it later was disappointing. The bartenders opened the bride/groom special gift bottle of wine for me 5 minutes before cut-off time, pouring me one glass, then refused to let me have the rest of the bottle because it was \"too late\". Make sure this doesn't happen to you! They did a great job decorating our tables and setting up in general. If you're doing your own arch decor, I recommend getting a friend or family member to take care of the arch decorating. Our flowers were sadly wilted and didn't look good in the arch at all. I wish someone would have noticed that it didn't look good. I would have rather had no flowers, or spread them around the ceremony grounds, then dead looking ones sporadically placed in the twigs. When I found out music was not playing during guest arrival time or cocktail hour, I was pretty upset, because we made it pretty clear that music was important to us. Make sure you have a friend/family member assigned to take care of the music for your day. Bring a good quality blue tooth speaker. (Our DJ didn't play until dinner time.)I would say that OVER communication is the best way to go with this venue and staff. Assign 1 or 2 of your own friends to help with specific things you really care about. The staff are very nice and accommodating, but communication can fall short during the actual wedding day. And don't expect a rowdy party...plan for an after party elsewhere if you REALLY want to have fun! Overall our wedding was successful and we were happy, but take my advice if you want to lessen the chance of problems or disappointments. Reviewed on 30-10-2017

Megan Ryan(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-09-2012 My now husband and I were looking for a venue that showed off the local culture and natural beauty of our adopted home - Nature Pointe was perfect. Most of our guests were traveling from other states so we wanted a truly memorable experience that represented New Mexico. More than six months have gone by and people are still commenting on how amazing the location was. \r\rWe had our wedding in a church in Albuquerque, provided detailed maps to our guests and plenty of time to get out to Nature Pointe for the reception. Everyone found it okay and it worked well for people to mingle in the outdoor space during the cocktail hour while the wedding party was taking pictures. Our wedding was in September and the weather was perfect. \r\rThe staff was helpful along the way with planning. Similar to another reviewers comments, we had talked through the entire plan of the set-up for the wedding with the day-of coordinator, who ended up not even being there to help set up. We were scheduled to set up on Friday morning before the Saturday wedding and had provided a detailed plan to the on-site contact, but they did not have tables and chairs out and ready, so we had to set those up ourselves. It wasn't the end of the world and I was thankful that we were able to do it the day before, but it was a bit frustrating and took longer than expected. \r\rEverything else about the venue was great. It is so beautiful that very little additional decoration is needed. The twinkle lights inside and out add a nice touch. We enjoyed the s'mores option and our guests took advantage of that. \r\rNature Pointe is a higher upfront cost than other venues, but everything is included - no extra security fees, parking, table/chair rental, etc. It was really nice to not be nickle & dimed. One of the biggest reasons we chose the venue was that we could work with the caterer of our choice. That was a great opportunity for us to hire some friends who did a great job (Atrios Catering). The host bar situation is also a huge plus and can potentially save you tons on the budget. \r\rOne downside was the time constraint due to being in a residential area. We had to move the time of our wedding up in order to make it there for the reception/dinner and finish everything by 10pm. \r\rOverall, I highly recommend Nature Pointe. We loved it, our guests loved it and the pictures turned out great!\r Reviewed on 29-04-2013
Samantha Picraux(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-08-2012 Nature Pointe satisfied what we were looking for in a location in that we could have the wedding and reception at the same place, without having to rearrange the ceremony space into the reception space. They also had a back-up plan in place in case of poor weather (which we used, because it began to pour shortly before the ceremony was supposed to begin). Beautiful grounds with sunflowers EVERYWHERE. Plenty of entertainment opportunities for kids. They provide a day-of coordinator who did an ok job - the ceremony had to take place in the reception area and people had to mostly sit around their dining tables, which frustrated me because no one could see or hear what was going on. Otherwise, the staff are very responsive by phone throughout the planning process and very kind. Reviewed on 12-10-2012
Rachel Silliman(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-06-2012 In the end, we had a lovely wedding at Nature Pointe. The major drawback with this venue is that one hand did not talk to the other. I ended up working with at least 4 different people in organizing our wedding and reception. The manager neglected to take notes on many of my visits, and we ended up having to be more involved than we had thought on the day of. They double booked our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, and I had to re-explain the set up for the wedding and reception to 3 different people in order to get it set up the day of. In the end, other than sharing our rehearsal with another wedding party, and having to be very hands-on on the day of the wedding to get everything set up, we had a beautiful day. Though the coordinator was a different person than I had previously met with and than they had said would be there on the day of, she was very attentive and professional. The venue was beautiful, and they even arranged smores for us at the reception. We were very pleased with the wedding and the beauty of this venue, but had some headaches to get it all set up.
