At Nemacolin, we provide amazing settings for special days in anyone’s life, from engagement parties and weddings to rehearsal dinners, farewell breakfasts, birthdays and social gatherings. With an abundance of indoor and outdoor venues perfect for any aspect of a wedding couple's wedding experience, our wedding experts will help you create your own fairy tale right in the Laurel Highlands. From intimate gatherings and casual luncheons to more formal dinners, our team of wedding experts can help you pick the perfect location, decor and menus. We encourage you and your guests to take advantage of the many amenities Nemacolin has to offer. From off-road driving, animal safaris and zip lines to fine-dining, spa treatments and golf, the only thing missing is the ocean... but we are working on that! The vision and dream have been realized, so we strive each day to bring something new - something fresh - to your experience. And if there is anything we can do to be of additional service, please ask. Location: Nemacolin is located in Farmington, Pennsylvania, one hour and 20 minutes southeast from the city of Pittsburgh. Nemacolin is just MAGICAL. The grounds are stunning. Our wedding was something out of a movie or a fairytale book. I mean...I had a vision that I presented to the wedding and design coordinators respectively and when I walked into the ceremony and reception that day - I.WAS.BLOWN.AWAY. They took my vision and multiplied it by 100. It far exceeded my expectations. It was absolutely beautiful. Bobbi was our event coordinator and she could NOT have been more awesome. She answered all my stupid questions with a smile and she was there anytime we needed her throughout the planning process. We could not have done it without her. Truly. The design/flower coordinator - he is awesome. His personality is so fun and what he did with our flowers and decor was unbelievable. Everything was coordinated the day of. They had a whole team dedicated to us and they made sure everything ran smoothly and it DID. Huge shoutout to my driver, Tim. He was the NICEST!!! He picked me up in a Rolls-Royce that we rented (very reasonable to rent!) and drove me to the ceremony site. The venue is just gorgeous. Our ceremony was at Reflection on property with a reception to follow at Horizon Point. Absolutely breathtaking venue. I cannot say enough good things about this place. If you have a vision - they will make it happen above and beyond what you expected. That's what you get at Nemacolin though - no matter what you are there for. We go for long weekends to get away and the service is ALWAYS above and beyond. They have a motto that \"if the client can dream it, we can do it\". They aren't kidding. You truly cannot choose a better venue. They cover ALL of the bases and we are so grateful we were able to celebrate our wedding day at Nemacolin.

When it comes to wedding planning and a venue, there is no one and no place that could possibly exceed Bobbi Opar and Nemacolin Woodlands. In January 2020, before there were any restrictions in place due to COVID-19, I selected a beautiful venue in Pittsburgh for my July 2021 wedding. In February 2021, when it became obvious that I couldn't have the wedding of my dreams due to the restrictions in Pittsburgh, I contacted Nemacolin and was directed to Bobbi Opar. Luckily, Nemacolin was available for the same date, and within five months Bobbi helped us plan a wedding that exceeded all of my expectations. From our first meeting by Zoom, through many emails, face-to-face meetings, and food tasting, Bobbi could not have been more accommodating and professional. There was not a detail that she missed, and she was always responsive to phone, text, or email inquiries. She assisted with plans for a bachelorette weekend, welcome party the night before the wedding, and a farewell brunch the day after the wedding. On the day of the wedding, her calm presence and organization assured us that everything about the day was going to be perfect, and it was! My husband and I, along with our families, give the highest praise to Bobbi and the entire Nemacolin team. There's not much good that has derived from COVID, but I am grateful for the change of venue and the opportunity to have Bobbi at the lead for our wedding planning.

Nemacolin’s staff was superb! Their above and beyond attitude made working with them enjoyable. Bobbi & her team ensured they made our vision become a reality. With the utmost professionalism & overall respect, all discussions, contracts, & details were handled in a timely manner, with alignment. Their aim was to please and they succeeded! All aspects of our wedding day were truly a pleasure to experience. Flowers, cake, cookies, tablescape, cocktail & wedding ceremony decor etc., were beyond fantastic. With the guidance of both Karlie (BumbleBurgh) & Bobbi (Nemacolin) along with Cindi, Bill & our terrific Chefs, remarkable memories were made that will always be cherished! Thank you for making our wedding day magical. Most of all, thank you for becoming our friends. We are proud we chose you to celebrate!

BEST OF THE BEST!!! Our wedding day was the most perfect day, and wedding weekend was amazing!! Nemacolin is the most beautiful place in PA!! Bobbi Opar went above and beyond and did everything to make sure everything was perfect, from the day we picked the venue until the ending of our wedding weekend!! The whole Nemacolin team deserves a 100000/10. They are all so accommodating, friendly, and go above and beyond!! Bobbi Opar and the Nemacolin team are the best and we are so thankful for them and everything they did for us!! We can’t wait to come back and visit!!

Bobbi and her team were absolutely incredible! We threw our September 12 wedding together in about 8 weeks and although I was nervous about the timing, Nemacoli made my wildest dreams came true. The venue was absolutely stunning, food was to die for and service was out of this world. Definitely expensive but worth every penny and now we have a perfect place to celebrate our anniversary every year with wonderful memories! Our guests were blown away, it was the perfect venue.

We had an amazing experience at Nemacolin. Our wedding planner was Christina and she was also amazing! She payed attention to little details that I wouldn't even have noticed that day. Everyone treated us so well at the resort and all of our family and friends said how they were also treated very well! Everyone raved about how the food/cake/cookies were so amazing and everything was beautiful. We had a couples massage the day before the wedding which was also amazing. We had our rehearsal dinner at the new Italian restaurant and they even typed our names on the menus! We also had a Sunday breakfast before everyone left and that was even amazing! They even drove us around in a Rolls Royce to get wedding photos taken.

Christina and Lori were the dream team. They made the entire planning process painless and fun! We were planning our wedding from out-of-state and they kept the lines of communication open at all times. They met the needs of all our guests and family. I had a vision from day one and both these girls made it come true. We are already planning our annual trip to return to Nemacolin!

It was always my dream to get married at Nemacolin, and on 12/9/17 that dream became a reality. The weekend was a pure fairy tale from start to finish! Bobbi was our wedding coordinator and was amazing to work with all year! Lori and theme design, amazing! The chefs and banquet staff, incredible! Accommodations, bell staff, chateau butlers, you all rock! All of our guests had the weekend of their lives at the resort and can’t stop raving about how amazing it was! Our wedding wishes for our daughter and son in law were realized this past October at the beautiful Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. Christina Augustine and Lori Gilson are experts in their field. These two ladies and the entire staff worked to create a day we will never forget. Nemacolin was the magnificent backdrop to which Christina and Lori added all the details to make this day one we all wish we could repeat again. Whether it is a grand event you are looking for or something smaller and more intimate, you will not be disappointed in the service and settings that Nemacolin has to offer.

Words can't describe how wonderful our experience was a Nemacolin and how perfect our wedding day was. My husband and I keep saying that we just want to repeat the day all over again. Christina Augustine and Lori Glisan were the most wonderful event coordinators to work with. They were kind, honest, hard working and meticulous. I honestly felt like I didn't have to worry about a thing during the entire planning process. Our ceremony in the Lafayette Gardens was absolutely gorgeous and our guests couldn't have said enough about the food, the service, the decor and their overall experience at our reception. I definitely recommend Nemacolin if you want to work with people at a venue that goes above and beyond!

Working with Bobbi Opar and Lori Glisan at Nemacolin was fantastic and truly a five star experience. We planned to have just our reception at Nemacolin's Falling Rock, but since we were having an outdoor wedding our rain plans were to use the beautiful space at Falling Rock for the ceremony too if the weather was bad. The facility itself was perfect and afforded the perfect amount of space for our wedding. I was very happy with it. My favorite part of the reception was how lovely they made the cocktail hour on the terrace. We had fire pits and nice furniture around them so people could relax outside in this very sensual space they created. All of our guest loved the food and the cake was out of this world! I am never the type of person to remember the food at an event, but I will always remember this meal. Bobbi was very relaxed when all of our guests were very late to the reception from the ceremony and was incredibly accommodating. I had so much fun my whole wedding day becasue I had nothing to stress about. Everything was taken care of. The level of service was outstanding overall and one of the best compliments I had about my wedding was that it was the perfect mix of formal, familiar and fun. I feel like they really made the wedding has the exquisite formal touches that makes a wedding so special, while also making it fun for everyone.I would absolutely recommend Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and their event team for a wedding of any size.

Where to begin.. The entire wedding planning process was so easy and fun thanks to Bobbi & Lori! From the day we met, Bobbi made us feel at ease in the process. We had our rehearsal dinner and both our ceremony and reception at the resort. Bobbi does an amazing job at making sure decisions are made on time and letting you know all of the options. The team did a fantastic job at making sure the day went smooth for all in attendance. If there was something we did not think of prior to the wedding the staff brought it to our attention to make the day easier for all guests. The food was fantastic, just as it was the day we taste-tested. Bobbi and Lori were there the entire weekend to make sure everything went exactly as it was supposed to. The resort is beautifully cared for and maintained. The staff at the spa treated everyone of my bridesmaids as if they were the bride, everyone was beyond nice! We could not be any happier with deciding to have our entire wedding weekend at Nemacolin, I highly recommend the venue, staff and chefs!

I selected this venue with the help of my step father and it was every wish come true. You can customize your experience, but to have the best experience make sure you request to work with Bobbi Opar. She was absolutely amazing!!! She gets everything organized for you, and the packages are phenomenal. They do outsource for their flowers so make sure you use White Swan Flower Shop and say you want to work with Connie!!!! Don't work with Nemacolin's provided lady.....Lori. Lori was the only down fall to my experience. She forgets to write things down and asks you the same questions repeatedly. Just skip her all together...USE BOBBI AND CONNIE!!!! and you will have the best experience ever!!! Also, make sure you visit and take a walk around the grounds multiple times...you will find something brand new and exciting every single time!! My guests found things that I didn't even know where there and all my guests had a blast. You won't be disappointed with Nemacolin, it's a dream. Nemacolin is all inclusive so you save money but it's everything from flowers to food to the venue and an unbelievable experience to boot!!! Loved it!!\r\rLast comment is a slight downer. I was highly disappointed with how the food tasted on the day of the wedding and how my cake looked. The food was not as good as the day of the food tasting, where that was fine for our guests, but I was expecting the amazing flavors from the tasting and it didn't live up to my expectations. For instance the dreamy creamy mashed potatoes from the tasting where sticky, gooey, and slightly dry on the day of the wedding. And my cake, I was very specific with what I wanted and even drew up a picture of it. I even allowed them to take a shortcut by letting them design the cake with the top two tiers being styrofoam....with that in mind I assumed that it would exceed far beyond my expectations, but I ended up with a flat-looking cake. I'm sure it was the most simple cake they've ever made and they managed to mess it up. It was suppose to look like three square boxes of cake (one one top of the other almost like three christmas presents) and instead I got three flat cake tiers (flat, like the boxes you receive clothes in for Christmas, not the kind a toy could fit in), so my cake was half the height I wanted it to be. Make sure you talk with the cake decorator about your cake and get a peek at it before they bring it out for you cut....I would've had them redo it if I had seen it earlier in the day.

Nemacolin Staff was very helpful in the planning process and was able to meet specific details we needed. The facility itself is abosuletly beautiful and is perfect for a wedding of any size. They have many options for ceremony venues and reception sites and work with you on your budget and guest size. My husband and I wanted a smaller wedding at a beautiful place and they definitely made it happen. Nemacolin will make every bride feel like a princess!!! Nemacolin is the BEST!!!!!

We decided to have our small reception at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort because it was secluded in the mountains but not too much of a lodge feel. Our stay began the night of our rehearsal and it was perfect. The rooms were fantastic and everything you could want for yourself, bridal party, and family. The reception was on Mystic Rock Golf Course at Mulligan's. My husband loves golf so this spot was perfect. We didn't need to do any decorating besides centerpieces because the decor was already so beautiful. The walls were mostly large windows that overlooked the water. It was surrounded by decks where we held our cocktail hour and tee'd off onto a floating green later in the evening. From the General Manager, wedding planner, wedding captain, and staff everyone was amazing! No detail was left undone. Nemacolin Woodlands Resort is a fantastic place for a small reception to a big party in their grand ballroom. We HIGHLY recommend it!

Nemacolin's Spa and Salon did a great job with my hair and makeup. Sarah was the one who did my hair and although we had a trial, I decided to go with something different the day of and she knew exactly what I was looking for. She did such a perfect job and it stayed in place all day long!! My mom and I also had our makeup done at the salon. I had the airbrush makeup and I would highly recommend that to anyone. It looks flawless and stayed on all day and night!! The salon provides such a calm relaxing experience!

Everything was excellent. Bea is very helpful and usually available though sometimes reluctant to do things a different way than normal. In the end we were able to do things our way and it turned out wonderful! The food was excellent, everyone loved the filet and the crab cakes. Service during the dinner was professional and appropriate. Cleanup at the end was a little rushed and favors got thrown out at the end, which I wasn't so happy about. But we were satisfied with the overall experience.
