When beginning to look around for venues, I had done a quick Google search for places which accommodate small weddings in LA. NOOR was the first venue I chose to peruse. I decided to call, and the minute I spoke with Robert (who was very quick to respond), I knew we had found our location. Stunning place! One of the best venues in Los Angeles. What makes the place extra special are the people who run it. Robert and his team are kind, professional, honest, and accommodating. They will make you feel at home. Everything is impeccable. The decor, the ambiance, the vibe, the cleanliness. The venue is located conveniently in downtown Pasadena near City Hall. The sunset and views from the balcony are spectacular! I had my wedding at NOOR earlier this month and I have nothing but positive feedback for not only their accommodations, but their service and attention to detail as well. Their team and service staff absolutely exceeded my family and guests' expectations. We just had our wedding at Noor this weekend, 07/08/2023, and it was a wonderful and magical experience. The venue impressed our guests; the outdoor ceremony was gorgeous, and the staff was kind. I want to single out Merissa in particular for being such an incredible help and going above and beyond to accommodate (and often anticipate) our every need. We adored Merissa so much that we wished we had hired her to plan the wedding. She's delightful and deserves all the praise (and a raise!). NOOR is literally the perfect place to hold any event.

We had our wedding reception at NOOR's Sofia Ballroom and LOVED it! Robert, Merissa, and the team are so professional and on top of everything. They made our wedding planning experience so easy, from booking the venue to the tasting to our final meeting. We were sent regular reminders to ensure we were on track with providing our guest count, meals, etc, and we ALWAYS received quick responses any time we had questions! They also provided so many resources that helped us with our planning and booking other vendors, such as our DJ and cake.The Sofia Ballroom itself is gorgeous and it provided the best atmosphere for our open-bar wedding with the foyer and balcony. Our guests even raved about the food! We can't recommend NOOR enough and can't wait until we can plan our next event there :)

He has such a great personality and truly made it easy for us to choose Noor as our venue. Everyone was so kind and they shared every detail with us so there were no surprises. They treated us with such kindness on the day of our wedding and truly made us feel so special. Our special day was initially set for May 9, 2020, but as we all know, COVID had other plans. We were crushed and decided to postpone a few months to August, thinking that the pandemic would pass and we could still enjoy our special day soon. That obviously didn't happen either. Two more postponements and we finally were able to celebrate on April 23, 2022.During that time my wife and I decided to get married anyways, in a parking lot, at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA. Not exactly the same environment as we had dreamed of at NOOR, but nevertheless a day we will never forget. Each time we had to postpone we inquired about terminating our contract, as the lure and excitement kept fading the longer the pandemic prevented us from holding our event. I get it - a contract is a contract and businesses were struggling too. Bridget was great, doing whatever she could to try and accommodate us and, for that, we were very appreciative.So here we are, almost 2 years after we got married - wife is now 6+ months pregnant, but we had an amazing time. Our event coordinator, Kaelan, was incredible! She was so sweet and made sure everything went according to plan. Our friends and family kept mentioning how calm and laid back we were throughout the entire day and evening, and a huge part of that goes to Kaelan and the team at NOOR for preparing and executing our timeline of events flawlessly. I'll be honest, there were many times we discussed and wished that we could have cancelled our event, moved on, and put this all behind us, but after experience our wedding day (i.e., almost 2 year vow renewal) at NOOR, we are truly happy to have held the event and now have the wonderful memories with our family and friends.

We recently had our wedding at NOOR and honestly can't thank the entire NOOR team enough for flawlessly executing our dream wedding! We could not have been more happy with how our wedding turned out, in spite of a little unexpected rain on the day-of! It was absolutely perfect!!Our on-site coordinator, Anna, did a superb job and handled everything with such calmness, grace, and professionalism! She was THE BEST throughout the entire planning process and executed our vision amazingly. She was always responsive everytime we called or emailed. Our wedding was originally booked for June 2020 but we had to postpone twice due to COVID. Robert and his team at NOOR were so accommodating and worked with us through both postponements so we never felt like we were going to lose out on our venue. That peace of mind was priceless! We went through 3 different on-site coordinators over 3 years and every single coordinator handled our wedding with the utmost care and professionalism to make for a seamless transitional process. Every time we went for our site meetings, we always got a little more excited for our wedding because the venue is gorgeous and always so welcoming. NOOR is truly the best! The food and service at the wedding was top-notch--all of our guests had the best time and have been raving about how beautiful of an event it was! We have been recommending NOOR to our friends and family, even before our wedding happened but now, we can attest to its greatness.

From the very beginning, NOOR has been nothing but top-notch. We first communicated with Bridget and was very happy with how detailed and transparent she was about pricing. We knew exactly what we were getting and we barely had any follow up questions. When we went to see Noor, we were blown away. The place was spotless, newly renovated, and stunning. We immediately knew this was the place to celebrate our reception. We booked the Sofia Ballroom the same day and are so happy we did! Emma was our event coordinator and we corresponded with her throughout the planning process. She always responded to our emails promptly and made the process so easy. We had last minute updates the week of the wedding and she never made us feel like we couldn’t approach her.Noor has this wedding thing down. The very detailed requests they had of our event details made me feel secure about how prepared they will be on the day.Everything was perfect on our wedding day! We got compliments on how beautiful the place was, how good the drinks were, and especially about how yummy the food was. We are so blessed we found Noor when we did. We had last minute updates the week of the wedding and she never made us feel like we couldn’t approach her.Noor has this wedding thing down. The very detailed requests they had of our event details made me feel secure about how prepared they will be on the day.Everything was perfect on our wedding day! We got compliments on how beautiful the place was, how good the drinks were, and especially about how yummy the food was. We are so blessed we found Noor when we did. This is the most beautiful venue that I have ever seen, especially if you are looking for a fun and festive wedding vibe. The energy that this place gives off is what sets the mood for the reception (your guests will feel it) and the photographs/video will look so glamorous and luxurious, you'd think you were in a movie wedding.People: The staff at Noor are the BEST! From the very beginning, Bridget Ann was so helpful and accommodating to our needs and vision for the big day. Noor offers a ton of different packages and options to choose from, and she really helped us find the best one that would fit our needs AND budget. I also could not have asked for a more helpful, attentive and responsive coordinator (Kaelan), who always kept us on track and was ready to answer one of my million questions at any moment :)Place: The pictures speak for themselves. We were in the Ella ballroom, which had the goth-Victorian chandeliers with LED lights everywhere, giving it a modern touch. It's hard to explain but the end result is just so stunningly beautiful. Your guests will be looking from the ceiling to the floor.Food: Noor's food is DELICIOUS. This is not your typical wedding food (forgettable), this is restaurant quality food - if it wasn't a venue, you'd want to go eat here on a weekly basis. We had the middle eastern family style option, and our guests could not stop talking about the food. Accommodation/Options: Noor's packages cover a lot of what you'll need for your wedding. From a beautiful ballroom that needs no extra work to the food and entertainment options. It is all basically on a menu and you choose from what fits your budget. Noor was so helpful and generous accommodating our wedding day! The Coordinators were all very timely and helpful with all our requests and easy to work with. Lisa was assigned to our event and very generously allowed us to use the drapes in The Terrace. Thank you Lisa for all your hard work! The food was fantastic and even with an outdoor event without a dance floor the event was intimate and lively. 10/10 would recommend to others. The event is close to Downtown Pasadena and we were able to take photos at City Hall before the reception.

I got married 9/28/19 at the NOOR and it was simply Fabulous. It takes me a while to write reviews but this place is absolutely worthy of it. Weddings are Stressful...venue shopping is Stressful. I’m a summer baby and I’ve Always dreamt of a Beach wedding, but my now husband sold me over why that’s not the Best idea...getting your dress filthy is just 1 reason. So, the Beach was out...my next destination I was obsessed w/, was golf-courses, but he wasn’t sold on that either...so I searched other locations...and that’s when I found the NOOR; I believe on The Knot app. We visited the NOOR and instantly fell in Love. The NOOR is unlike most places you visit. It doesn’t Need additional decorating like A lot of places...although you can. It’s literally a one-stop shop, Lighting, Food, Beverage, Dance-Floor, Vendor’s, etc;The NOOR definitely was Not the cheapest location, however you get what you pay for. If there was Anything that we were not OK with, the NOOR staff worked around the clock to fix Whatever the issue was. Our wedding ceremony was outdoors in the courtyard, and our reception was inside the larger of the two indoor spaces ...the beautiful, Sofia.LA’s forecast was clear skies All Summer long...all the way into Oct...sadly, the weekend I was to get married, had a 40% chance of Rain. I did NOT want to get married indoors...At All...Yet, due to the impending Rain, that just might be a realization. Long story short, Miranda (God-send) gives me the Best news a Bride can receive...Although, there was a Hard-Drizzle (LA Rain) earlier in the day...Our Wedding will go on as Planned (1 1/2 Years)...Outside!! To you it might Not mean much, but to Me, the Bride...it was Heaven. Simply to say...the Owner Robert, staff Maria (God-send), Miranda, and the rest of the NOOR’s staff were impeccable...Thank You. I am Blessed that my husband pushed me to pick something outside of my norm, where I was able to find the NOOR. I would not have wanted it to happen any other way. Our Wedding was simply Gorgeous, filled w/ Love, Great food, and Fun!From day 1, Maria made us feel So Welcome...like family...and we will Cherish All of the once in a Lifetime memories. There is Nowhere else we would have rather gotten married here in the states. They were Attentive and Responsive to Every single Need/Want that we had, and we will be Forever grateful that we chose the NOOR. Still to this day, people talk about how much they Loved our wedding. We even know people that Loved our wedding and the NOOR so much, that they have actually booked their events there; including our photographer @lunabellaphoto.If you are deciding between venues or want something different, I say go with the NOOR...it will be Extraordinary. 💜

Here is my review of our experience with Noor.PRE PLANNINGAs soon as I inquired about Noor, I immediately received a response from Bridget Ann (Vice President of Sales) within hours. Although we received a prompt response from Bridget Ann, my wife and I were still exploring other venues. After speaking with other venues, we decided to proceed with Noor for the following reasons:Location - Centralized location for the majority of our guests. Ample parking space to accommodate guest’s vehicles. Aesthetics - The ballroom and foyer were well maintained and looked great. We had approximately 130 guests which the ballroom accommodated everyone comfortably and without appearing too vacant. The foyer isn’t meant to hold all the guests inside. They do have some lounge chairs and tables but again, not for 100+ guests. Plan accordingly to accommodate elderly guests and the disabled. Price - Their wedding packages start at $85/person which I thought was kind of pricey at the time. However, there were no hidden fees or any additional charges (service, tax, etc) which I liked. This helped us keep track of our budget.FINAL MEETINGOn our final meeting, I met with Kenji (Event Manager) and discussed the floor plan, wedding timeline, and other administrative matters. I really appreciate the fact that Kenji took the time to listen and accommodate my requests. I was provided a suggested floor plan layout to which I altered and presented it to Kenji. Kenji assured me that they can absolutely meet my request while professionally advising me of potential issues that I didn’t foresee with my layout. In the end, I went with their suggested layout. These guys are professionals with years of experience that know their venue. Clients are free to make adjustments to the floor plan but it seems to me that they will have the optimal solution once you provide the details and client specific guidelines.WEDDING DAYI was very pleased with the Noor Staff. Kenji was present and made sure everything was flowing smoothly and keeping up with the timeline that I provided. I did have some minor changes on the day of to which the staff was very flexible and more than accommodating. They understand that a couple’s wedding day is one of the most important life events anyone can experience which showed through their exceptional level of service. CONCLUSIONI would highly recommend Noor and their team of experts to host your next event. I had less than 2 months to plan our wedding and I really have to commend Kenji, Bridgette Ann, and Miranda for their assistance in facilitating our wedding planning. We just got married little bit over a month ago and we are so happy and that we choose Noor to be the special place to say \"We Do\" . I wish we could give more stars bc it was it was defiantly a memorable experience. Noor was our 2nd venue to visit and after meeting with Robert and Miranda for the tour, we instantly knew we wanted Noor to be apart of our special day. We had the terrace for our ceremony and Sophia ballroom for the evening and it was all so magical. From the floor plan, to all the interior details, and the white curtains in the terrace surrounding the ceremony, our wedding was very intimate which was exactly what we wanted. Kenji was our main contact/ coordinator and he helped us so much, at times I felt I was being annoying with all the worrying and questions but each time he made me feel at ease. Kenji and the team was very communicative and always responded quickly. They were great and super flexible in meeting our budget but also giving the esthetic we wanted for the theme of the wedding and also what we wanted for our guests. They are dog friendly for the terrace ceremony area, which was one of our main reasons in choosing Noor. The bridal suite was a nice relaxing area upstairs in the apartments where we were able to look down at the terrace while things were being set up. That was a nice view that we got to experience. I was starting to loose my voice an hour before the ceremony, good thing there was a full kitchen in our bridal suite and there was even an assortment of teas that we helped our selves too. Wedding food at venues can be a little scary sometimes, cause you just don't know until you've booked them, also as a guest we've attended other venues and the food has always been mehhhh and always went home hungry. Noor has such a great list of options it was so hard to choose from cause everything looked so yummy! So happy that we ended up choosing a deluxe menu option, all our guests complimented on how yummy the food was and they all left very full. Our guests had so much fun during the dancing portion too, fyi the lighting package is a must! It made such a difference in the mood from cocktail, dinner, games, into dancing the night away! It was also so nice to see how our photos progressed through the evening with the light changes in the background. We love Noor and wouldn't have changed anything about our wedding except we wish we could have partied longer. It was truly magical and Thank You team Noor for giving us such a great memorable experience!

My husband & I were married in the NOOR Ella ballroom in February, just six weeks after booking the venue in December (SO lucky they were still available on the one Saturday we were looking at!). We were definitely on a time crunch, but Maria & Miranda were an absolute DREAM to work with. They were professional, kind, humorous, patient, & maybe most important of all, RESPONSIVE. The Ella ballroom is modern & stunning, it fit our wedding of ~110 well though it would probably feel too crowded if there were any more people. The food was delicious in comparison to other weddings I've been to, & this is because their kitchen doesn't leave hot food sitting out; it's served as they are made. The price for our wedding package was more affordable than we initially guessed! The only thing we didn't get to experience was their bridal suite because there's only one but 2 ballrooms, but this didn't pose a major issue due to the abundance of hotels within walking distance. Overall, we loved NOOR, their staff, & wish we could do it all over again. <3P.S. The bartenders (especially the award-winning female, sorry I forgot her name) are awesome.

We got so many good feedbacks from our guests and everyone loved the food also. They were amazed by the perfectly medium rare steak. Not kidding, all the guests didn't expect the food was that delicious and huge portion! Especially shout out to the event manager Miranda for running around the whole night with my wedding coordinate and trying to accommodate the best and made everything prefect!Nice atmosphere and good customer services. Noor really is the premier event space in Pasadena. They are a great venue: clean, gorgeous, elegant and very workable for a lot of different kinds of events. Noor staff is great to work with. We fell in love with NOOR the minute we walked in and met with Bridget Ann. She was so kind and sweet and we were convinced immediately that NOOR would make our wedding dreams come true. Miranda, our day of coordinator, and Loriann and Vivian From Wifeofthe Party were all absolutely amazing. miranda answered all my emails and questions in a timely manner. And Loriann and Vivian took care of soo much day-of that if anything went wrong that day, I definitely never heard about it. Noor is an amazing Banquet Hall which provides excellent service and dining. I recently attended a wedding and was very pleased with my experience. The venue itself was very serene and was beautifully decorated. The food was outstanding, some of the best I've ever had at any banquet hall. In addition, the staff and servicemen were very respectful and welcoming, which created a nice, friendly environment. Out of many ceremonial events that I have attended at various banquet halls, I had my best experience at Noor! Highly Recommend!

The venue itself was very serene and was beautifully decorated. The food was outstanding, some of the best I've ever had at any banquet hall. Attended a wedding here and the food was amazing! Hands down the best food I have ever had at a wedding. salmon and filet mignon, perfectly cooked and presented. Staff were exceptionally polite and efficient. The atmosphere and ambiance was great as was the decor, this place exudes class and sophistication. A really enjoyable evening. Considering having my birthday party here I was so impressed.

Attended a wedding here and the food was amazing! Hands down the best food I have ever had at a wedding. salmon and filet mignon, perfectly cooked and presented. Staff were exceptionally polite and efficient. The atmosphere and ambiance was great as was the decor, this place exudes class and sophistication. A really enjoyable evening. Considering having my birthday party here I was so impressed.

At our first meeting we met with Miranda and she truly listened to us and gave us options that fit our budget and style. Once we decided to book, the process was very easy! Along the way we had lots of communication and every meeting was helpful, efficient, and exciting. On the day of the wedding we could tell that things were running smoothly and besides a small hiccup with the music, it was a perfect day!! My husband and I got married at Noor on 2/3/18. Choosing Noor as our wedding venue and Amin as our wedding coordinator was the best decision! EVERYTHING went very smoothly, beautifully , and the whole event was a complete hit! The event started on time, all the staff knew what they were doing, Amin was on top of EVERYTHING and it made the day so much better knowing that we didn’t have to worry about anything but having a great time.I recommend Noor to everyone because the venue is gorgeous, the outside space is stunning (we had our ceremony outside), no extra decor is needed, and all the staff, including Amin and Robert are incredibly helpful, nice, polite, and they know what they’re doing!

My husband and I got married at Noor on 2/3/18. Choosing Noor as our wedding venue and Amin as our wedding coordinator was the best decision! EVERYTHING went very smoothly, beautifully , and the whole event was a complete hit! The event started on time, all the staff knew what they were doing, Amin was on top of EVERYTHING and it made the day so much better knowing that we didn’t have to worry about anything but having a great time.I recommend Noor to everyone because the venue is gorgeous, the outside space is stunning (we had our ceremony outside), no extra decor is needed, and all the staff, including Amin and Robert are incredibly helpful, nice, polite, and they know what they’re doing!

When my hubby and I were about to give up on the venue after dealing with so many unprofessional teams, we found Bridget Ann. She was so efficient, professional, and polite. Bridget Ann gave us a detailed cost estimate before our appointment. What really impressed me was her ability to revise those estimates within hours to accommodate our budget and schedule. So I fell in love with her even before meeting her. After our appointment, my hubby and I knew Bridget Ann was the one for us. She was going to take care of us on our big day! I had complete faith in her that she will make things work no matter what!On our food tasting appointment, we met Miranda, most amazing day of coordinator ever! She was warm, responsive, and thorough. I was arrogant enough to think I don't need a day of coordinator.Boy, was I wrong! Miranda had answers to questions I didn't even know I had. She offered great suggestions, aided in making sure vendors were properly insured, and always responded to emails/calls in less than 24 hours. Miranda was able to take care of all the vendors, guests, and nitty gritty stuff so I could fully enjoy the day. Miranda is not only professional, but also genuine. When my dad was crying his eyes out at rehearsal dinner, she was there to calm all of us down. The venue is absolutely stunning! If we could pick a venue again, we would pick Noor without a second thought. We had an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception which was perfect!Outdoor ceremony area is fairytale like; blue sky, green plants against white curtain, sound of the water fountain, and feel good breeze are nothing short of every girl's dream. Indoor reception area is classy and tasteful. Our wedding was on a tight budget so we went with the most basic food options: herb roasted chicken breast, portobello mushroom ravioli, and classic French ratatouille. We heard great feedback from our guests about how great the food was; some even said best wedding food they've had. There is a parking structure attached to the venue so it's very convenient for the guests. It was $6 per car if you get it validated and you have an option to pay for your guests' parking. We can't say enough great things about Noor and its amazing staff! Thank you for making the first day of our forever perfect!

It’s been about a week since we had our wedding (ceremony, and reception) at Noor and we could not be happier with our entire experience. From the very beginning at our venue tour with Robert (owner), to the several days after our wedding with our amazing day of event coordinator/event manager, Amin. At the first visit with Robert, he was so easy going, upfront, and honest about the venue services and costs. We did not feel pressured to commit that day or add on every extra add-on or cost for our wedding. Later, for our first meeting with Noor we felt very impressed with Amin’s friendliness and professionalism. He answered all of questions at the meeting and responded to questions via email in a timely manner. During the final meeting Amin was very cordial to our videographer, who joined us to get a lay of the land. This meeting, Amin guided us through our wedding timeline and answered our videographer’s questions; his attention to detail with certain needs was perfect. He even asked us a few things about our timeline that we had not even thought about. This little paragraph is a shout out to the main man with the plan behind the scenes. We loved every second of our wedding at Noor. Amin absolutely slammed this thing out of the park, what more can you ask for out of this guy. Throughout the whole process he truly cared about our big day, and it was evident in all the detail. This would not have been possible without the support of an awesome, experienced, and caring day of coordinator. He even showed us the ballroom for approval of the setup before guests entered form the foyer after cocktail hour. That was unexpected to view our wedding reception prior and we were grateful for the considerate gesture. Also, poor Amin even gracefully handled answering demanding questions from one of our mothers before the wedding and dealt with a drunk headstrong godmother during the wedding. We received so many compliments about the delicious duet plate; miso salmon and filet mignon. Relatives who never ate fish, ate the salmon and my mother who hardly eats red meat devoured her filet mignon. So, hats off to the chefs for the amazingly delicious meal, and thank you.After the wedding, there was precious cargo left at Noor, and they were happy to safe guard our belongings until we were able to come pick them up 4 days later. This was so helpful because we did not have enough room the day of the wedding to pack everything into our car. In conclusion, if you have not figured out from this novel-sized review, we would 10/10 recommend Noor to anyone looking for a brilliantly assembled, memorable, enjoyable wedding!PS FYI we had 200 guests at our wedding and never did it feel crowded.

Even the pickiest eaters could not stop praising how delicious the food was. Our event manager was Amin, and he was amazing. He walked us through all of our questions and helped execute all of the details we wanted for our big day. Even though we had issues with some other vendors, Amin came through and helped us fix the issue and even lent us a cake topper, when our florist failed to deliver ours. The wait staff were all so nice and accommodating, and I loved that there was security to make sure our event was private. I highly recommend Noor for its beautiful venue, great food, and amazing service.

The customer service from the food tasting, to the walk-through, rehearsal and day-of is top notch- their staff was only a phone call away if we had any questions from anything from the floorplans to the uplighting, you name it, they had it covered. The thing we loved most about Noor is that you can have an elegant wedding in one room, our ceremony was converted into a lovely reception area and the food was a hit with guests. Our vendors already knew \"NOOR\" and were happy to come back to work there. Can't thank them enough for pouring their hearts into every detail. Paige the event manager, completely ruined the night for me and my family. One example is how she disrespected my mom and aunt when we were running behind schedule and it was getting close to the end time of the event. I don't know how any of that was their fault and why she needed to be rude about it. She approached me as it was getting close to 1am and asked if I wanted to extend the time to 130am and I gave her the okay. The credit card we put on file months before no longer worked because it was lost and we replaced it with another, and with a million things to do before the wedding I forgot to replace the one I had on file with the new card. So as soon as it declined she approached my mom and in front of our guests tells her that the credit card declined, and to get her new card right away. My mom was so embarrassed in front of our guests as anyone would be, but clearly the only thing on Paige's mind was making sure she got the extra $500 for the half hour at that very moment. My mom kindly asked her if she could give her the new card after the wedding was over because her purse was in the Noor bridal suite which is further away from the venue. It would have been inconvenient for her to leave the venue to get her credit card especially with a half hour left. But Paige threw a tantrum, and my coordinator who also thought she was extremely rude that night, had to calm her down and asked her to wait until the wedding was over. This would have been the sensible thing to do than to bother the brides mother. My poor mom was really shocked by how she was treated.If I could go back I would have chosen a different venue for my wedding. For what you end up paying, just pay a couple thousand more and have your wedding at the Hilton or somewhere nicer that actually values good customer service. It's really not worth it at all, especially with the disrespect you'll likely have to deal with like we did on our wedding night. Paige the event manager, completely ruined the night for me and my family. One example is how she disrespected my mom and aunt when we were running behind schedule and it was getting close to the end time of the event. I don't know how any of that was their fault and why she needed to be rude about it. She approached me as it was getting close to 1am and asked if I wanted to extend the time to 130am and I gave her the okay. The credit card we put on file months before no longer worked because it was lost and we replaced it with another, and with a million things to do before the wedding I forgot to replace the one I had on file with the new card. So as soon as it declined she approached my mom and in front of our guests tells her that the credit card declined, and to get her new card right away. My mom was so embarrassed in front of our guests as anyone would be, but clearly the only thing on Paige's mind was making sure she got the extra $500 for the half hour at that very moment. My mom kindly asked her if she could give her the new card after the wedding was over because her purse was in the Noor bridal suite which is further away from the venue. It would have been inconvenient for her to leave the venue to get her credit card especially with a half hour left. But Paige threw a tantrum, and my coordinator who also thought she was extremely rude that night, had to calm her down and asked her to wait until the wedding was over. This would have been the sensible thing to do than to bother the brides mother. My poor mom was really shocked by how she was treated.If I could go back I would have chosen a different venue for my wedding. For what you end up paying, just pay a couple thousand more and have your wedding at the Hilton or somewhere nicer that actually values good customer service. It's really not worth it at all, especially with the disrespect you'll likely have to deal with like we did on our wedding night. We chose this venue for how beautiful the reception area is and for being able to build a stage on a fountain to get married on. In the end, I realize we got so much more than that. Before I give you this place a glowing review, I’ll highlight some of the great things up front:•\tPicturesque Reception Venue: With a built in-bar, high-end wood floor reception, media and lighting all part of the venue ambiance, this is a perfect venue that is already designed to host an upscale wedding•\tBeautiful, Enclosed Outdoor Ceremony: The venue is part of Paseo Colorado Mall but you would not guess it when you are inside the ceremony. They have beautiful white shades that cover the wedding ceremony but leave the top open to allow natural sunlight and blue sky to illuminate your wedding•\tPrice: For the size of our party (300 people), Noor provided an excellent price that included 6 hours of premium bar, outside catering, 3 bartenders, 12+ hours of venue site rental, 4+ hours of set-up time, and a host of other accommodations for a price that was better than all its competitors. They even provided a Photo booth and champagne toast on top of everything else•\tCustomer Service Above and Beyond Everything Else: From the sales coordinator, Bridget Ann Shillet, to their event manager, Paige Black, Noor provided excellent service. We didn’t have a wedding coordinator and I can’t tell you how much Paige and Bridget went above their roles and responsibilities to make our wedding happen. I owe a debt of gratitude to them. You will not find a team of people who will help you put on a magical wedding as Noor does.Noor is not a typical choice for an Indian wedding but my wife and I are not typical people. We wanted a venue that can host 300 people, which had a certain style of modernity and class, and be different than a hotel ballroom where we didn’t have to build ambiance with so much decor. My wife and I researched over 40 places and visited 15 of them. Noor was the best one by far. At first we were trepid as we were one of the first Indian weddings the site has hosted (they’ve done Sangeets, engagements, etc.) but not an end-to-end Indian wedding. Paige Black, event space manager, could not have been more accommodating. She helped us with the fire permits for both the wedding ceremony and caterer, saving us on permit costs. She helped coordinate to ensure that we can bring a horse over the bridge for a Baraat. She worked well with all the vendors and coordinate all the pre-wedding tasks. She was responsive, lovely to deal with and had an always positive, can do attitude. Our wedding would not have happened without her.My wedding was done on a budget but from the pictures, you’d think I spent double. That’s because Noor was that beautiful, that well designed and had a staff that ensured our wedding remained as beautiful as our dreams desired. My wife and I had our wedding at Noor on June 10th and it was absolutely wonderful! We worked with Amin throughout the planning and setup and he was so courteous and friendly and easy to work with. We had a million changes as we worked out our budget and what we wanted and he handled each and every one promptly and patiently. And we had a million changes, because Noor offers so much! Their food is all delicious and they offer so many fun additions to make your event special. We went with a plated dinner: chicken and mushroom ravioli (the ravioli is SO GOOD) or filet mignon and miso salmon, a dessert bar (the little pastries were beautiful and yum!), a mashed potato bar (I didn't get to try because I was too full, but the guests loved it and it was fun!) and a full open bar with upgraded beers (we asked if we could add different beers and they helpfully just asked which ones and made it happen) and a specialty drink (just gave the recipe and again, they made it happen).Noor is the place to book with if you want stellar service and delicious food. They are amazing! Big big thanks again to Amin for being so great!

Their prices are reasonable and have everything you need or can think of. We worked mostly with Bridget Ann throughout the process and she was extremely helpful and easy to work with. They are very detailed and specific about every associated cost so there are no surprises (something we didn't necessarily see at other venues), they are super responsive to any questions that come up along the way, they provide great suggestions for how to make the event even more special, and on the day-of they are there for you at the drop of a dime without being in the way. The space is absolutely beautiful, it hardly even needs decoration. I can't thank them enough for consistently being so easy to work with through all the crazy and scary planning months. They won't let you go wrong! Also the value is excellent, worth every penny and more.

We just had our wedding at NOOR and it was great. Everything was perfect. The best thing about NOOR is that everything was included in one package: venue, rentals, catering and drinks. That made the organization super easy. The other great thing about NOOR is that everyone there is super friendly and responsive. Robert, the owner, who worked with us, is super nice and was extremely accommodating, helping us setting-up the wedding exactly how we wanted it (many places don't do that!) in terms of decor, food, organization and drinks from the first to the last day. He was always available even when we called him or emailed him at the craziest hours with the most weird requests... The day of the wedding everything looked immaculate. The organization and the service were impeccable. The food was great, of great quality, prepared well, and abundant (so were the drinks...). Everything went very smooth. He gave us the VIP treatment and made my family and myself feel like we were part of his family. \r\rAs for the staff... Unbelievable!!! (Which is very rare) my guest were completely shocked how amazing and attentive they were.\r\rAs for the food.. Sooo freakin delish!! We had a food tasting which let us customize our food choices. We had the seared chicken breast with citrus sauce veggies and mashed potatoes for dinner, Caesar salad. And of course appetizers. Everything hot and ready to serve, and beyond delish. Normally cooking for large groups of people can be favor less.. But not here! \r\rAs for the location.. Best location ever!!! It's in the heart of old town Pasadena! The venue rooms where you have your reception are clean and sheek looking, with lighting on the walls to set the mood. But most important is that they take care of you. They have an enormous number of staff members that are there for your every need. There is nothing that they didn't help take care of. The have a beautiful foyer where the guest have drinks and chat. I would have any future events thrown here and will recommended to any bride to consider this place. Our venue coordinator was amazing. His name is Amin and he is extremely nice and patient. They throw weddings every weekend but he makes you feel like yours is the most important one he is organizing. Thank you Amin for your patience. Thank you Robert (owner) for your kindness. Noor Pasadena is an amazingly beautiful venue! I had both my wedding ceremony and reception here - the ceremony in the Noor Terrace and the reception in the Noor Sofia Ballroom. Both were stunning! \r\rWe worked directly with one of the owners, Robert and received great service. Robert was incredibly prompt when responding to all e-mails and phone calls. He was very flexible and helped ensure every detail of my wedding vision was executed. My husband and I created a custom menu which turned out a million times better than we could have ever expected. Head chef, Anthony, was wonderful! Our guests raved about the food. \r\rA couple of downsides: the Noor Terrace is beautiful, but it is a public space. We had draping around the entire perimeter, but there was a lot of noise from the surrounding restaurants. We were double booked for our ceremony time and ended up having to change our time. The venue was as accommodating as possible, but this was very frustrating none the less. Be specific with contract details when signing.

Noor Pasadena is an amazingly beautiful venue! I had both my wedding ceremony and reception here - the ceremony in the Noor Terrace and the reception in the Noor Sofia Ballroom. Both were stunning! \r\rWe worked directly with one of the owners, Robert and received great service. Robert was incredibly prompt when responding to all e-mails and phone calls. He was very flexible and helped ensure every detail of my wedding vision was executed. My husband and I created a custom menu which turned out a million times better than we could have ever expected. great location and wonderful service for being available at the last minute. the event coordinator was a little bit unwilling to change a few things I had set up with my coordinator, but she was swayed with a little coaxing. We have a wine connossuier (sp?) or two in our party and wanted special wines. the GM never got the wine list to the event coordinator for us in enoug time to select anything better than a house wine, so we were disappointed, but the guests never knew...
