Wedding Date 09-04-2022
This venue met all of our needs. The ceremony was held on the 6th-floor terrace, and cocktail hour was held outside the ballroom. The ballroom space was perfect for our reception. We had about 85 guests, and the space was perfect. We even had our rehearsal dinner on-site. Our guests were from out of town, so it was convenient to have everything in one spot. The Marriott catered the reception and the rehearsal. Our guests loved the food. Andrea was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was patient with all of our questions and guided us through the process with kindness and exceptional professionalism. We are so happy with how everything turned out. Thank you again to Andrea and the Marriott staff for helping us make this such a memorable and enjoyable event.

I just want to thank Andrea and Larissa for making me and my husband’s wedding very special!! The team and staff here the also amazing and very accommodating!!! The food here is super delicious!!! I loved everything about it!!

My wedding ceremony and reception were fantastic and went off without hitch due to the Norfolk Waterside Marriott Staff! They helped me from day 1 to day of my event and everything was Super! A definite recommendation for anyone planning a wedding!

Larissa Szynski (Director of Catering) Originally from Australia, I have been so fortunate to travel and live in some amazing places in the world, experiencing so many cultures, hence my love for all things culinary, design, art, history and architecture.
