A Venue For All Your Event Needs
The North Market Venue is located two blocks from downtown Shreveport on Louisiana Highway 1. The vintage warehouse features heart pine floors that greet you as you walk through double doors into the sunlit ballroom. As the sunlight fades and evening turns to night, the beautiful chandeliers and strings of garden lights sparkle as dancing begins and music fills the air. The mix of industrial metal beams and dancing makes for a wonderful southern evening! A magnificent set of wooden doors serve as the backdrop for the Grand Room. Other amenities include two suites with private baths, three powder rooms for guests, preparation kitchen, and a paved parking lot. NMV staff were super helpful in making the rehearsal and wedding flow smoothly! The space is beautiful and the boutique room is perfect for cocktail hour and provides lots of natural sunlight for pre-ceremony pictures. The ceremony space was setup exactly how we needed and staff helped us flip the space for the reception very quickly.

I had my 50th Birthday Celebration here at the North Market Venue and it was \"EVERYTHING\" I could have hoped for and more. Beautiful setting, spacious, and clean. The staff is A+ and accommodating, available and resourceful in assisting with ideas. I and all of my guests enjoyed the party. My daughter asked if I would plan her wedding here. I definitely have this venue at the top of the list for special occasions in Shreveport, LA. Thank you so much to the NMV staff and the SPD Officers who provided security for assuring me one of the most memorable nights.

Wow!!!! When I walked inside for my daughter’s Sweet 16, I was wowed! Nicole decorated everything so beautifully! It was more than I could ever imagine. Nicole is awesome. She was always there for me when I started to stress, and she understood the assignment.During our first meeting to view the venue with my daughter, Nicole took the time to talk to her and find out what her vision was for her party. My daughter immediately connected with Nicole and she was able to share what she wanted and Nicole went above and beyond and provided exactly that.Thank you, Nicole!!! We love you, and I hope I will have a chance to work with you in the future.

We used this venue for our daughter celebration dinner. Everything was perfect!!! Nicole and her team ensured that we were pleased with everything! The decorations were beautiful.
