Thank you to everyone at the North Tahoe Event Center for helping make our wedding dreams come true! My husband and I got married in August, so the weather was a little crazy. We were having the ceremony in the sand and the reception outside. The winds started to pick up and we almost had to move inside, but we waited it out and had the most beautiful weather! Plus it cleared out the beach so the photos were incredible! The entire event center staff were wonderful through the whole process and were very accommodating for us :) Cathy and Charlotte helped me through everything and were always so responsive to my questions - and there were a lot ;) Also, the price is AMAZING for a lakefront Tahoe wedding! We had the best wedding we could have ever imagined and we can't recommend North Tahoe Event Center enough! Thank you Charlotte and Cathy!

The North Tahoe Event Center was a dream come true! Kings Beach is such a special place for us, and we couldn’t have picked a better spot for our wedding. Cathy and Charlotte worked so closely with us to nail down every detail, and the end result was perfect. They are so fantastic at walking you through the whole process and providing you with all the information you’ll need! The venue is gorgeous with the most perfect view, and they have amazing rental options!

The North Tahoe Event Center was a dream come true! Kings Beach is such a special place for us, and we couldn’t have picked a better spot for our wedding. Cathy and Charlotte worked so closely with us to nail down every detail, and the end result was perfect. The NTEC was just the venue we were looking for! Within our budget and located in such a gorgeous location! Charlotte and Cathy were the most organized and helpful event coordinators, I can't thank them enough for how easy they made things for us. They were so communicative and flexible, and had so much information available about how to run our event smoothly. The staff were wonderful and things ran without a hitch, even when it continued to rain through our ceremony time. We super appreciated the ability to bring in our alcohol and various DIY decor items the day before during our rehearsal, and pick things up the next morning since there were no other events that would be interfered with. Our wedding was so fun and the NTEC helped make it happen!

My partner and I just got married at NTEC this past weekend. It was a lovely event and amazingly convenient to have the ceremony outside on the terrace and the reception dinner right inside in the Lakeview Room.We live on the east coast, so we had to do most of the coordination remotely. Despite that, Cathy and Charlotte were incredibly helpful and responsive in working out the logistics of the event. They were also very flexible with last-minute adjustments. Thank you both for making it all possible!Kings Beach as a whole is a perfect setting a destination wedding -- the town is extremely walkable, and there's plenty of options for hiking and beach activities.

My husband I just got married at the NTEC at the end of May. We had to plan our wedding virtually since we are 8 hours from the venue. It was so stressful but so worth it! Cathy and Charolette were so helpful during the entire process to ensure I had everything necessary for the wedding. The views were amazing! Our family and friends had nothing but great things to say about the staff and environment. They are also dog friendly! Our chihuahua was part of our big day and it truly meant so much to us. They allowed us to have an affordable yet gorgeous wedding. I can't recommend this place enough!

The North Tahoe Event Center was the perfect spot for our intimate winter wedding. Throughout each step Charlotte and Cathy were so easy to work with. They truly had our interests in mind and were flexible and accommodating. The NTEC offered a phenomenal lake view while keeping our guests warms in the cold winter temperatures. They have several decor options to add onto your contract. These added the perfect touch to our day. So thankful to have found this venue. It was gorgeous, affordable, and the staff truly loves their job. Thank you NTEC!

Cathy and Charlotte were so wonderful to work with, and the staff was so helpful as well. We initially fell in love with the views and the outdoor reception area, but having the indoor ballroom available put our minds at ease with unpredictable weather/smoke in the area. I cannot recommend this venue enough.

From the first time we reached out about a tour, to the contract/booking process, to planning and execution, they were so prompt and responsive at every step of the way. Not only is the space beautiful, but the staff is so supportive and helpful. We looked at quite a few venues in Tahoe, but the Event Center was one of the only ones with both stunning views of the lake and a great indoor/outdoor option. With wildfires and COVID, it was great to know we could change up our ceremony and dinner space if needed!

We hosted 70 people and Cathy and Team were extremely helpful in not only the planning process, but also on the day of the event. Our guests were blown away by the venue itself and the incredible views. I would recommend this location to everyone, not only for a Rehearsal Dinner but definitely for an intimate wedding. If you need to hire a bartender, for sure ask for Janel, she was amazing and beyond helpful. Thanks to all at the NTEC, you really made it easy for us to throw a wonderful party.

Cathy and Charlotte did an amazing job coordinating in advance and making our day the very best we could imagine. Our guests LOVED being right on the beach, and having a room where you can actually see the lake from the inside is so unique. Seeing the Tahoe sunset was really unparalleled for our guests, and the room looked beautiful (they've done so many great updates recently). The venue offers a great catering partner, wonderful indoor/outdoor space, a huge patio area, and plenty of indoor options for any sized party. They also offer great wedding rentals to help your big day. You really can't find a better value! This venue literally allows guests to dip their toes in the sand and experience Tahoe in one magical night.

We really loved the venue and the price was right. Most of our guests stayed at Ferrari's Crown Resort just a quick walk away, which was great in terms of allowing everyone to forget about their cars for the weekend. Keep in mind that the Event Center is on a very popular beach, so it is not too private in that regard, but it didn't bother us at all. The venue was easy to work with.

This was a great venue for a wedding for 120 people in North Tahoe. There are a few resorts up there to hold events, but they were all too expensive for what we needed. This was a great venue for a wedding for 120 people in North Tahoe. There are a few resorts up there to hold events, but they were all too expensive for what we needed. We held the service outside, taking advantage of the fact that it is literally on the shores of Lake Tahoe. Kathy at the Event Center was a pleasure to work with, and was able to adjust the initial plans to what we asked. The reception was inside, in a room with a wall of windows so that our guests could have that beautiful view as they were eating. We also moved the dancing outside on the patio which accomodated us perfectly!

Let's start by saying that Tahoe is a magical place to get married! The North Tahoe Event Center was no exception! It was wonderful all around! Gorgeous setting, excellent space for the whole event, reasonable price to rent out the whole Event Center, great staff and Kathy, the event coordinator at the Event Center was awesome! We had the beach, the mountains, the lake and plenty of space for everyone to say our vows in the sunshine, take beautiful photos, eat, dance, sing, and have a photo booth, kid area and room for our stuff. If we had to get married all over again, we would have our wedding here in a heartbeat!

Let's start by saying that Tahoe is a magical place to get married! The North Tahoe Event Center was no exception! It was wonderful all around! We had been scouting for a venue in the North Shore that would accomodate us using our own caterer; loking for a place that we could hold both our ceremony and reception. We had been looking for a few days while we were in Tahoe, but none of the venues we came accross would accomodate our special request. When we got back home to the Bay Area, we searched online and found the North Tahoe Event Center. We called them and confirmed they were willing to work with our caterer for an additional fee (per head). We quickly made another trip to Lake Tahoe to take a look at this location in person. We instantly fell in love with the location and the Lake View Room that we decided to use for our reception of 100 guests. Over the next year, we communicated to the staff at the Event Center by phone and email. Not all of our questions or concerns were answered...and we were given partial answers to some of our questions; and the information changed in some cases. We were unclear when our rental company would have access to the venue on the day of, until a few days prior to the wedding. We were under the impression that we would have to clear all the rentals from the venue the night of the wedding (which we had rented until 1:00am and had an hour after that to clean everything up), but the rental company actually was able to pick everything up the next day, thankfully this was all coordinated by our rental company. We had scheduled a time to meet our day-of-coordinator at the venue on a Sunday, which we made sure would be available by our point of contact at the venue; but the day before we were to meet our coordinator, we just so happened to decide to drop by and take a look at a causal reception being held there, and met one of the staff who indicated that the venue was not scheduled to be accessable the following day until hours after our scheduled meeting with our coordinator. He kindly rearranged his personal schedule to give us access to the building that Sunday. Another incident happened the day before and the day of the wedding which involved linens that the venue was to provide for the rectangular tables. The gentleman we had previously met had told us that there was only one white rectangular linen left for our event due to the events that were taking place the day prior. The next day,which was the day of, we met another staff member who told us that she is the one in charge of the linens and since they had such large events the day before, there was no way they could accomodate our wedding with all the linens we needed but she would get it all worked out with our coordinator. I still, to this day, have no idea how the white rectangular linens magically appearted when I arrived shortly before the ceremony. All the problems aside, the wedding turned out amazing. There was some added stress, but the venue made for a gorgeous location.

We had our wedding at the North Tahoe Event Center. They were AMAZING to work with. Kathy is the best. They accommodated every request I had and made the day very special. I would recommend this place to anyone. Best bang for your buck at the Lake as well. Best of all worlds!

We used this location for our reception and loved it. They were very easy to work with during the planning process. They don't have a lot of the restrictions that many wedding venues have which really helped in cutting costs. And our guests loved the location right on the beach.
