Maximum number of attendees is 250. Northwest Event Center is a banquet hall wedding venue located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Centrally located on the Northwest Expressway, the modern venue is spread over 10,000 square feet. The venue has a reputation for hosting sophisticated and elegant wedding events. The owners of the venue feel honored to have the opportunity to host the event of your dreams. Northwest Event Center can host intimate or gatherings up to 250 in one of our two indoor rooms. The Fireside Room can accommodate up to 110 guests and features a copper fireplace as the focal point. This room can be used for the wedding or the reception. The Rock Garden Room features a stage and a dance floor and can seat 200 guests comfortably although we can accommodate up to 250 guests. Weddings have the additional use of the bridal suite and groom’s room. The bridal suite features a dressing table adorned with mirrors for putting on makeup and styling hair. The groom's room boasts a changing area and a personal bar and bathroom. Northwest Event Center can also host a variety of other events: Wedding/Reception Bridal Shower Baby Shower Quinceañera Room rental includes all day use of the venue, tables, chairs, set-up and clean-up, and free parking. Outside vendors are welcome. Closed Sundays and Wednesday evenings.

This event center is unprofessional and provides AWFUL services. We signed a contract with them over a year ago and Lonnie Smith the owner informs us a month before our wedding that we will not be able to get into the venue until a later time. Lonnie stated that they decided to let the previous renter extend their time. She offer us to move our wedding to another day. What kind of venue ask you to change your wedding day a month before their wedding date. Prior to informing us about the changes, the venue was not returning our calls. Several messages were left and it took Lonnie a week to call back. My fiance asked for amount off the venue along with other requests and asked for all the changes to be in writing that day in order to move forward. Lonnie did not send us anything and we called and left messages. My fiance had to put reviews of their performance online in order for this venue to respond. Finally, Lonnie called and said she lost her phone and had to find money to get another phone. What kind of business has these excuses and doesn't call paying clients back. We signed a contract and our numbers were provided. Not once did she call us, which left us to wonder if our was going to happen. We had to find another venue and pay more money because of this venue's unprofessional manner. We live in Texas so we can't get to okc as fast as we wanted to. Lonnie agreed to meet us at the venue to give us the money back. 2hrs into our trip she sends a email saying she WOULD NOT refund the money until my fiance took the reviews off the internet. She pretty much forced her remove the truth in order to get the money back. She took it down because we need the money to pay other things for our wedding. It took this venue 2 weeks to send the money and Lonnie lied about when she sent the refund. She may have stopped my fiance from telling people about how they treated us,but I can tell the truth about this venue. Please don't come here if you want a perfect day because the here management is the WORST!!!

Harry and Sandy Smith (Owner) Hello, We are Harry and Sandy Smith, the owners of Northwest Event Center. Harry has been involved with Northwest Event Center since the purchase of the building. He is involved in the everyday running of the business and available at all event functions. Sandy got involved with Northwest Event Center upon retiring from the Federal government. She focuses on the business aspect to cover all leads and answer questions the client may have. She also in involved in the running of the business and does work the event functions.
