Novelty Hill - Januik provided an unbelievable experience for our wedding. We wanted to show appreciation and gratitude for our guests in attendance, and at NHJ we felt we got to spoil the people most important to us. NHJ grounds are beautiful and varied; the food was a highlight and we are still getting compliments on the menu and family-style serving. We could not have hoped for a better wedding, and I am so appreciative to the team at NHJ that created this memory for us and our family members.

Novelty Hill - Januik provided an unbelievable experience for our wedding. Liz and Maysanne at NHJ helped make our wedding day the wedding of the century! They were very helpful each step of the way through the planning process. The grounds at NHJ are absolutely breathtaking, and many guests told us it was the most beautiful venue they had ever seen. Then there is the food - OMG! IT IS THE BEST! Many guests have since told us it was the best food they've had at the wedding. From the appetizers, the WINE, the entrees, everything was absolutely delicious. The team on-site made the day very easy and flipping from space to space was seamless. It was the best day every thanks to Novelty Hill -Januik and team. Highly recommend if you want a fabulous wedding day, people are still talking about how much they loved our wedding!

Liz and Maysanne at NHJ helped make our wedding day the wedding of the century! They were very helpful each step of the way through the planning process. The grounds at NHJ are absolutely breathtaking, and many guests told us it was the most beautiful venue they had ever seen. Then there is the food - OMG! IT IS THE BEST! Many guests have since told us it was the best food they've had at the wedding. From the appetizers, the WINE, the entrees, everything was absolutely delicious. The team on-site made the day very easy and flipping from space to space was seamless. It was the best day every thanks to Novelty Hill -Januik and team. Highly recommend if you want a fabulous wedding day, people are still talking about how much they loved our wedding!

Not only does NHJ provide delicious wine and food, they provided the best atmosphere for my wedding! The beautiful venue itself provided such a great canvas for hosting our big day, the modern architecture, beautiful lush green trees and lower garden - not to mention the high quality service of their staff! From the moment I booked the venue, to the day of the wedding, NHJ team was so helpful and communicative, they really made my wedding planning so easy for me. Not only does NHJ provide delicious wine and food, they provided the best atmosphere for my wedding! We loved having our wedding at Novelty-Hill Januik! The venue is beautiful - we loved the outdoor areas in particular and that there are so many spaces to take advantage of both for our wedding festivities and photos. We could tell our guests enjoyed the bocce ball court and lawn games during our cocktail hour, too! The getting ready areas were also spacious and there were plenty of amenities to make sure the day of was relaxing and stress-free. The food and wine was delicious throughout the night - we received lots of compliments from our guests - and Liz and the staff were wonderful to work with! Liz was always prompt in her communication to us and cheerfully answered all of our questions as we led up to the big day. Would highly recommend this wedding venue!!

We loved having our wedding at Novelty-Hill Januik! We had the best rehearsal dinner with Novelty Hill-Januik! We used their newer garden space outside and even without extra decor, the space looked great with just the big table under the lights. They had wonderful wines and champagne, and even though the list of beer and cider to choose from was smaller, we were able to get cases of our favorite Incline cider and great beer too. All the food was amazing, our guests had a great time, and we'd definitely do another event here! They had an indoor backup space we could have used had it rained (it was early July) but luckily we had great weather. They had a small speaker for some tunes, and that was a great touch!

Januik Winery is the most beautiful, elegant, modern venue in seattle and greater seattle area. There’s so much you can do to the space or just leave it as is and it would still be stunning. The wine is incredible and they have great options for non-wine drinkers as well. The food was absolutely INSANE!! The best wedding food I’ve ever had and I still have guests messaging me about how incredible it was. It’s all done in house so no need to worry about a caterer. They also have great indoor and outdoor options that can be decided day of if needed which is great with our lovely Washington weather :) the team and staff are also so kind and incredible to work with. I’d rank them 100 out of 5 stars if I could.

We had our intimate wedding here and it was absolutely perfect! The venue itself includes everything you would need and the kitchen catering is AMAZING, you couldn't do any better honestly, and the wait staff was so great and flowed perfectly! Laura the event coordinator is fantastic and very responsive and had the whole evening run smoothly. The venue itself is a gorgeous modern, natural winery that needs very little decorations because it's already so beautiful. Perfect place to have an outdoor ceremony and fun lawn games during cocktail hour and a gorgeous reception indoors. Lets not forget about their fantastic wine!! You cannot go wrong with this all around perfect venue!

We had our intimate wedding here and it was absolutely perfect! The venue itself includes everything you would need and the kitchen catering is AMAZING, you couldn't do any better honestly, and the wait staff was so great and flowed perfectly! My husband and I got married here May 2019, and it was the perfect venue--even better than we could have hoped for. We loved that the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing could all happen at the same venue, but there was a distinct location for each (we had ceremony outside under a canopy of trees, cocktail hour under a tent outside, dinner in the dining room, and dancing in the bar area). I liked how every event had its own location within the venue so we didn't have to do any turnover, but it was still very cohesive and intimate. The wine was obviously fantastic, and the food was incredible. Many guests commented that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. I personally was sad I didn't get to eat as much as I wanted on the day of (too busy greeting guests), but Laura set us up with to go boxes which we devoured later on. The staff were very communicative and helpful. We met with Laura several times in person and she was very reachable by email. We used the recommended planner, Andrea, who was a godsend. Bottom line, this is an incredible venue for a wedding. Many guests told us it was the best wedding venue they had been to before.

My fiance and I researched and toured a ton of venues around Seattle area but we just couldn't stay away from NHJ. We wanted a wedding that was simple and romantic, but still impressive and comfortable to our 80 guests. The architecture and flow of the rooms is amazing. I was plan-it-myself bride and I was so thankful for NHJ's inclusive wedding packages: all the little things from linens, glassware, to Glassybaby candles were included! I am so so thankful I didn't have to hunt for rentals of all those little things. At the same time, I never felt restricted to reach my wedding vision. The venue was very accommodating to all the little details or events I wanted to have included. Most importantly the staff were wonderful- from the first tour to us leaving after the wedding, the hospitality, service and professionalism of everyone was impressive. It was very important to us that our guests were treated well and had a good, fun time. Laura R., the Director of Event Sales/point of contact was a real pleasure to work with for 10 months while I planned. She was lightening fast in responding to all my questions, it really made my planning less stressful. We also worked with the site coordinator the day of the wedding and she was able to jump right in and was great!When we were considering venues, we prioritized good food and the comfort of our guests and we have absolutely no doubt NHJ was the right choice. Our guests had such a great night and I'm so glad NHJ was part of our special day.

The wedding coordinator Laura at Januik was amazing, we wanted to do a few things a little different and she was super accommodating. The staff is amazing and super friendly. Chef Seth created the best wedding food. It was a very stressless process with their team and it was worth every penny!

Beautiful location, lots of modern character, and great flow. Loved that we had indoor and outdoor space and could roam freely. The bride and groom get ready areas were perfect. It was so much fun watching movies, drinking mimosas, and getting ready with my girls. Would definately recommend this venue to anyone. Only concern was they were lax about the closing time of the winery. There were still random ppl milling around as my guests were arriving.

My fiance and I cam to Novelty Hill-Januik for a wine tasting a few months before our engagement. We loved their wine and were very impressed with the space. So when we became engaged it was the obvious first pick for a wedding venue. The Northwest modern design of the venue is just perfect for a Seattle area wedding and fit the \"classy, not pretentious\" vibe I was going for. We chose orange and grey as our wedding colors as they were the most natural fit with the venues existing decor. Needless to say it all looked great. We got married on Labor Day, and got the Sunday pricing. Coupled with a special they were having earlier in the year, the price was just right and didn't break the bank.\r\rEmily, the wedding coordinator, was just amazing to work with and had every detail absolutely covered. I was planning the wedding from the opposite side of the country and went out to visit a month before the wedding to go over some final details. My stress levels plummeted after that meeting as I knew Emily was on top of it and covered details I didn't even know existed. She also had a list of vendors they have worked with and that's how we found our DJ (Greg, from Affairs to Remember, total pro). Her and the staff were on point the entire night and made sure everything went smoothly. I have never been so relaxed at a wedding, and this one was my own!\r\rWe knew the wine was good, but were blown away by just how amazing their food was! All of our guests commented on how good it was and we ended up running out of quite a few things. I recommend the manchengo gougeres, they were delightful. \r\rA couple of additional highlights:\r- We did a mix of tables and tallboys, which worked really nicely. I didn't want to do a formal dinner or assigned seats, so we just had a few food stations set up. That worked really well, created a great conversational atmosphere.\r- They provide most of the decor (sans flowers), and that includes a giant assortment of glassy babies.\r- We had a bottle of sauvignon blanc and assorted non-alcoholic beverages in the bridal prep room - it was a nice touch.\r- The pictures in the room where they store the wine barrels came out great.\r\rTo anyone looking to get married in the Seattle area, I would highly recommend Novelty Hill-Januik Winery.\r

I'm originally from the Seattle area and relocated to San Francisco five years ago. When the time came to find a wedding venue, I knew I wanted to check out Novelty Hill / Januik. Here are the top 5 reasons you should consider having your special day at this winery:\r\r1) The winery itself is gorgeous. It's modern and sophisticated but feels comfortable at that same time. \r\r2) The events coordinator Emily is fantastic. She runs the show at Novelty Hill / Januik -- she is a miracle worker! She was so flexible and worked with our schedule (a number of times) since we were flying up from the bay area.\r\r3) Our wedding night was flawless. She and the rest of the staff were pros and every tiny detail we wanted was executed perfectly. I never once thought about, \"When will we do this?\" or \"Who is taking care of x?\"\r\r4) The food was excellent. When was the last time you could say that about wedding food? It's prepared in the open kitchen off the dining room. Our friends and family still rave about it.\r\r5) The setting was beautiful. We were at ease the entire night and enjoyed every single moment. Many of our guests commented that it was the best food they'd had at a wedding. The chef makes the food look and taste fantastic. The staff there are friendly and super helpful. We felt well taken care of and the venue coordinator is just a wonderful, kind human being. The price was very reasonable. We highly recommend it!

I LOVED my wedding at Novelty-Hill. It was beautiful, modern, and all the details were worked out by the staff. While I was told by nearly every guest that the food was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, it was quite expensive ($42/dozen of deviled eggs...). But the overall venue was exactly what I wanted, and I did not need to stress at all the day of. \r\rThe venue doesn't take a lot of decorating, as it has a personality of its own, so that helped keep cost down. I bought flowers from a farm, did all my own decorations other than that. But the venue decorated with their own things as well! We got to use their Glassy Babies that matched our colors really well. Overall, wonderful experience, amazing food, great ambiance, and GREAT wine!

While I was told by nearly every guest that the food was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, it was quite expensive ($42/dozen of deviled eggs...). But the overall venue was exactly what I wanted, and I did not need to stress at all the day of. \r\rThe venue doesn't take a lot of decorating, as it has a personality of its own, so that helped keep cost down. I bought flowers from a farm, did all my own decorations other than that. But the venue decorated with their own things as well! We got to use their Glassy Babies that matched our colors really well. Overall, wonderful experience, amazing food, great ambiance, and GREAT wine!

The wedding coordinator at Novelty Hill is amazing. She was always there for us whether it was the 5lbs. of corks that we needed, our ever growing and changing guest list, or last minute event rentals. On our day everyone kept commenting on how beautiful the location is and how great the food was. You can't find a better value believe me I've looked. I will forever be grateful to Emily and the entire staff at Novelty Hill. Thank you

The wedding coordinator at Novelty Hill is amazing. She was always there for us whether it was the 5lbs. of corks that we needed, our ever growing and changing guest list, or last minute event rentals. My husband and I got married here in August 2012. We absolutely loved working with Emily, the events director. She has amazing attention to detail and guided us through the entire process. She even scored us some savings with vendors to do up-lighting, outdoor Italian lights based on the other wedding that weekend using them as well. Wine tasting during site visits wasn't half bad, either! All in all, we felt like we got a lot for our money. We definitely recommend Novelty Hill-Januik for a modern, well-organized, and classy event!

We used Novelty Hill Januik Winery for our wedding in June. As others have indicated, Emily, their event coordinator was great to work with. She was great with advice when needed and helped make sure everything came out perfect. It was pouring rain most of the day of our wedding and they were able to setup outside at the last minute when the clouds parted and the sun came out. We received numerous compliments on the food and venue. We would highly recommend the winery based on our experience.

When we became engaged finding a wedding location was crucial to us. We wanted the wedding to be somewhere that was contemporary, new, the right size for our reception, and had a knowledgeable staff. I met with Emily, the Events Director for Novelty Hill Januik and I was delighted and pleasantly surprised how knowledgeable she was about how to coordinate and plan weddings. Through the entire process she got back to both us immediately, she was thinking ahead so the minute I had a question she had an answer. If I needed a suggestion or advice on a vendor they knew exactly what to do or who to call. The food was also excellent. They had the best filet mignon many people have ever tasted. \rThe day of the wedding went smoothly. We originally were supposed to have an outdoor ceremony but it started raining. The staff was able to move everything inside without a hitch and it looked gorgeous. They also added finishing touches that made the reception look beautiful. Everything was tasteful and fit with our color scheme. \rI would recommend Novelty Hill Januik to EVERYONE. It’s a great location and the quality of service is unbeatable.
