The Oak Lodge Reception and Conference Center in Baton Rouge, LA, is a wedding venue combining Southern charm and elegant sensibilities. Couples who book this venue can be sure that their celebration will reflect the warm, inviting atmosphere of the space and the surrounding area. Able to host intimate gatherings of 30 people and grander experiences of up to 500 guests, the Oak Lodge Reception and Conference Center is the ideal backdrop. Their three venue spaces offer versatility and can be combined or divided to suit whatever needs. The Reception Center features original brick pavers, an expansive wood and copper bar, and a Tiffany-style chandelier for ambiance. Historical influences are abundant in the Bienville Room, with a wrought-iron staircase, French doors, and a spacious courtyard. The largest of the three options, the Orleans Room is the picture of old-world New Orleans glamour, with an open-plan layout and oak flooring. With themes of warm furnishings and ornate details, the atmosphere envelops guests no matter where they are in the venue. The Oak Lodge Reception and Conference Center prides themselves on being a full-service wedding destination. I had my wedding reception at Oak Lodge back in November and when I tell you that it was even more than I had imagined... I mean it. The staff, the building itself, the food, the drinks, everything - incredible!!! Our coordinator, Bella, was so gracious and helpful to this anxiety-ridden bride. She communicated with me pretty much daily, let me come in and decorate early, and made sure to nail down every little detail to ensure our day would be exactly as we pictured. Let me tell you - it was more. I'd recommend Oak Lodge over and over!

The staff was wonderful! My wedding was beyond amazing, the food was delicious and the open bar was a hit!. My only negative was the decorations I viewed and was told would be available for my wedding was not available. They tried to accommodate me; however, we hired a private florist and the centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous. The wedding coordinator, Bella, was attentive, made everything moved smoothly and helped me the entire night! I would definitely choose this place again.

With COVID causing a nightmare with schedule changes, we knew we made the perfect choice as the worked with us to work out the perfect date. When we finally were able to have our wedding and reception, we could not have asked for anything more. Our guests loved the venue and the food was outstanding. The staff was awesome. Andi and Ashley were hands down the best team of event planners we have ever met!!! I would do another event, wedding or otherwise, at Oak Lodge again in a heartbeat!!

The food was terrific! The wait staff took excellent care of me and my guests, but we were promised heaters for an outside ceremony in December, and the day before when I reminded the coordinator to turn heaters on she informed me they were unavailable. We had to scramble and pay an outside vendor to get the heaters. It was aggravating and costly. They promised centerpieces, but when time came and I had to order flowered ones, that was also costly.theirs were very limited

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Cecilia and Andi were absolutely fantastic. The entire team at Oak lodge was fantastic! They were calm which kept me calm. They were always there helping me with the next thing, directing me when I wasn't sure, providing me with champagne (needed!) and so kind. They were professional and very detail oriented, and I greatly appreciate that. My husband, both of our families, and I are all so happy with everything! Worth every penny!

She immediately had an idea for decorations to fit our Christmas wedding. The venue is beautiful, the staff is so friendly, and the food was amazing! The venue is breathtaking, the food is to die for, and the staff is so down to earth and willing to help with anything and everything!! They’ve spent hours on hours on the phone with my mom answering all of her questions, and were willing to give us advice to help us in the best way possible and remained very patient through the whole process! Andy was amazing with helping set up everything like I invisioned, and taking care of everyone making sure they were comfortable the night of the wedding!! We received countless compliments on the venue and the food!! HIGHLY recommend Oak Lodge to anyone even remotely considering a good time!!

The poor customer of the staff was unbearable! When we initially booked Oak Lodge, Elette was our designated wedding coordinator. However after six months she was no longer at this facility for reasons not shared with my daughter and I and things went array from there.Two of the menu items we selected for the reception were not provided, Maddie and Mary Elizabeth were rude and the entire experience was at best fair-poor. Our allowed reception time was cut short and the decorations we requested and paid for was not was not provided as promised. If it were not for Brittney and Justin attempting to make things work, it would have been a total disaster. Considering the amount of money my husband and I spent and given the opportunity to do it all over again, I would definitely select a different venue. I will not be recommending Oak Lodge to anyone anytime soon.

Our wedding was nothing short of amazing! Elette, Haylee, and Maddie were extremely helpful, kind, and professional. They brought my dreams to reality and nailed everything I asked for. The food was delicious, the romantic themed decorations were breath taking and everything was flawless. My transition from ceremony to reception was a breeze and from the first dance to bouquet toss was smooth sailing! Seriously I would get married there again! Which we probably will do a vow renewal there in a few years! 5 stars aren't enough to express the joy I have for this venue! Please forgive me as I just gush over them, because this was money well spent! Thanks Again for the magical moment! Shardá and Tremaine Freeman!

I recently got married on 5/22/16 and Oak Lodge was amazing!!!! Our coordinator Maddie made sure our big day went as smoothly as possible & I did not stress AT ALL!!! Everything was perfect from the set up to the food! The venue is already beautifully decorated so we did not have to decorate much to make the wedding beautiful! On the day of Maddie let us know when it was time to do everything as far as dances, cake cutting etc. She also made sure the groom and I had a drink at all times lol and made us to go boxes since we didn't get to eat much! My family had a blast and it was truly a night to remember!!! Would definitely recommend!!

My wife and I held our wedding reception here in February. Everything was absolutely perfect and Oak Lodge made everything we wanted happen. My wife had a vision for everything she wanted and Elette, the events manager made her vision come to life with exactly what she wanted. The food was fantastic, and the staff made sure to take our drink order and make us plates of food as soon as we walked in the door to ensure that we could enjoy our food. Thank you guys so much for making it a perfect day for me and my wife.

We started our planning almost 2 years before the date and we went to a few place before getting to Oak Lodge...had they been our 1st stop we never would've gone to see any other place. Kayla was our coordinator and she did an absolutely amazing job in making our reception into exactly what we wanted and then some! She was great throughout the whole planning process. She helped me make some really great decisions during the planning phase and gave great suggestions. We told her our vision and she went with it and made it a reality. She worked with the vendors and helped to keep everything flowing the way it was suppose to. When we walked into the reception I was blown away by everything. She was even there when I realized that I forgot to put my garter on before the wedding...she made it work and found a stand in LOL Thank you for giving us the reception we looked forward to!

We loved the location and the mood of Oak Lodge. However during our planning our wedding coordinator was let go and our new consultant did not follow through with any of the things discussed in our final meeting. We were supposed to have food waiting for us in a back room, that didn't happen. Our guests were supposed to begin eating as soon as they entered, nope. They misspelled my husband's name on the sign outside. The cokes were flat and there were not enough servers. Otherwise, the staff was nice and the venue was what we expected. It is a bit pricey unfortunately, but the food was good.

Mrs. Dona is AWESOME!!!! She was always so bright and cheery when we met. The other staff members were as well! Customer service was excellent. The staff was so courteous and helpful in making my big day a wonderful and special moment!

Oak Lodge is such a gorgeous venue! Everything looked perfect the day of and the staff was very helpful throughout the planning process. The food was AMAZING!! I am still getting compliments on how amazing it was!! The option to add an extra hour at a flat fee is such a bonus! We had a four hour reception and I enjoyed every last second! All the decorations is included in the cost and it was all so beautiful! My only complaint is during the reception, I did not see the staff. I think it was because they had a bridal show two days later and they were a little busy behind the scenes preparing for that. I could be wrong. Maybe they were taking care of something for me. Either way, it was amazing. I highly highly highly recommend this venue for your wedding reception!

The Oak Lodge has beautiful character in itself, but with all of the added touches from the staff, the room was beautiful! Food was delicious, couldnt have imagined anything more!

They did everything! All I had to do wa find a cake, officiant, and DJ. They know what they are doing, and they are very professional. The food was delicious!!!!!!

The staff at Oak Lodge were very helpful. I had specific ideas for my reception, and they were so sweet about letting me bring in extra decor. I brought decorations on Wednesday, they set everything up for the wedding on Saturday, and then they packed everything up and my family just came by and picked up the decor the next week. I was so grateful they made it so easy on my family!\r\rTristan, Alec, and Nikki took excellent care of us at the wedding and made sure the whole event flowed smoothly.

This place is understaffed, not prepared for seated receptions and overall just not a good value for your wedding! Owner was very nice all the way up to after the wedding when I asked what could be done to compensate me and my husband for the contractual things that were not furfilled and she got ugly and told me that we actually owed them! Also the area they have for ceremonies is tiny and the sound is awful, but you won't know this until you see a wedding there or unfortunately have yours. Truly disappointed and wouldn't recommend them to even someone I don't like.

I visited at least 7 venues and researched countless others before checking out Oak Lodge. Once I went, though, I was sold. Mary and the rest of the Staff are a cut above in the service department. Unlike many of the places I visited they were genuinely interested in my business and remained that way throughout the whole process. I contacted Oak Lodge through their website one evening and within a couple of days was having a complimentary tasting with my Mother-in-Law. They treated us special even before I booked with them! I found the price comparable to other places I had looked at, and with all of the perks (fresh flowers, linens, silverware, warm, welcoming atmosphere, indoor and outdoor space) I couldn't pass it up. It turned out to be a perfect venue for my Saturday afternoon reception. I got tons of compliments on it and guests even said it was the most fun afternoon reception they had been to. What I loved most was the fact that they handled ALL of the details and gave me one less thing to worry about. I told them my color scheme, dropped off the necessary items, and it was decorated just beautifully and even prettier than I imagined. Schedule a tasting and ask for a tour. You won't be disappointed!
