THE BEST VENUE EVER! Our entire wedding experience with Oak Ridge Country Club was far an above anything we could have hoped for. James Wagner the banquet manager and his entire staff made not only our wedding day, but months of planning up to such a great experience!! They literally DID NOT say no to anything we requested, desired, or dreamed - moved furniture, multiple layouts, allowed us to setup/takedown when worked best for us, accommodated our pasta action station dinner style, special desserts, allergy consideration, additional tastings, allowed us to take a golf cart out for photos, even allowing us a foursome at on the country club the day before!!! The scenery for our October Wedding at the Country Club was beyond beautiful with colors, club grounds keeping, and fall decorations. The ballroom is stunning with all wood flooring and views of the course. Food was outstanding - the compliments from guests were endless.Truly can't thank James and his entire Oak Ridge staff enough for accommodating us in every way and making our Wedding day truly the best day of our lives. If you're considering Oak Ridge Country Club, you're crazy to look anywhere else!!!!!!!

We loved having our ceremony and reception at ORCC! The venue itself was gorgeous and intimate. Working with the catering and event coordinator, James, was easy and stress free. James was great at communication and brought a wealth of experience to our event. We were impressed with how seamlessly James and the staff at ORCC managed our night and we have nothing but compliments on the food and service, the overall aesthetic, and the ease of working with ORCC to create our dream wedding. We loved having our ceremony and reception at ORCC! The venue itself was gorgeous and intimate. Working with the catering and event coordinator, James, was easy and stress free. James was great at communication and brought a wealth of experience to our event. Our wedding at Oak Ridge turned out very nice! We got lots of compliments on the food, and James (catering coordinator) ensured our day ran smoothly and everything was all set. We had initially worked with Kim, the wedding coordinator, but she had left the company prior to our wedding day. I think with a wedding coordinator, things would have run even more smoothly, and would have taken more stress off us as a couple during the planning. We loved the big windows and the floors, and the space was more than big enough for our group. Prices for food were very reasonable.

We loved our experience with Oak Ridge Country Club! Our guests were wowed by the food, the beautiful golf course view, and the elegant event space. I cannot speak highly enough of James and the organizing staff - we rescheduled our wedding 3 times due to the pandemic and they stayed with us through date changes and guest changes, right up to the week of. I would give Oak Ridge 6 stars if I could! Kim and James were so easy to work with and Kim was so great about responding in a timely manner to my millions of questions during the planning process. Their cocktail hour space is elegant with an outdoor patio right next to the dance floor that gave our guests plenty of room to roam with a beautiful view of the golf course at sunset. The ballroom is GORGEOUS and we hardly had to add any decorations. We had plenty of space for our nearly 300 guests and we received compliments from them all night about how beautiful the venue was. The food itself was 10/10, we heard raving reviews all night, and the catering and wait staff were amazing and so professional. Highly recommend this venue!

We are so happy we had our wedding at Oak Ridge Country Club! The staff was amazing and planning was seamless with Kim. We only had our reception at Oak Ridge. Kim is a very experienced planner and was always very on top of the schedule and always very responsive. The food was absolutely amazing and we got so many comments from our guests. We would recommend the salmon, which was cooked to perfection! Oak Ridge works directly with Buttercream for cakes so billing for the cake was on the invoice for the reception, making this part so easy! The ball room has beautiful windows that provide natural light throughout the entire evening and a cute outdoor patio for pictures! We ended up having 160 guests and the space was perfect for this size. Overall, we loved our experience with Oak Ridge!

Our menu consisted of the salmon and chicken for entrees and potato knishes, beef brisket, and chicken skewers for appetizers. All of the food was fantastic. The week following our wedding, our guests couldn't stop talking about how it was the best food that they had ever had at a wedding! Aside from the ballroom and food, we enjoyed working with Kim to realize our wedding vision. We started planning pre-COVID and then went through multiple iterations over the next year and a half. Kim was very patient with us and helped us think through all the options from the table setup to the band. If you're looking for a A+ wedding venue, look no further than Oak Ridge Country Club. During the first tour of the ballroom, it took our breath away. The panoramic views through the floor to ceiling windows looking west over the golf course and sunset made for a beautiful backdrop. Not only was the ballroom large and spacious with high ceilings and gorgeous chandeliers, it also featured a large bar area. The area separating the ballroom is a convenient space to host the cocktail hour. There is also a spacious outdoor patio available. COVID interrupted our planning and brought so many unknowns through it all, but Oak Ridge was so accommodating every step of the way. They were very flexible and definitely made things less stressful through all the unknowns of the pandemic. Our coordinator, Kim, was helpful beyond words and the entire staff was welcoming and charming the night of our reception. The food is five stars and the menu is fantastic from top to bottom. Our overall experience throughout the entire process leading up to the special night was a 10 out of 10!

We got so many compliments on the food (brisket, maple mustard chicken, pasta primavera) and the service - I don’t think anyone left hungry.Kim kept us informed of all of our options and helped us think through some of the timeline details. She respected our budget and reworked the event proposal to fit our needs. We didn’t specify when the wine should be poured with dinner, so we ended up getting it after the entree, which was a little odd, but definitely not a deal breaker.Our day was practically perfect and we have the staff at ORCC, especially Kim, to thank for that!

I was originally drawn to have my wedding at ORCC because of Kim, the catering director, and the beauty of the venue. Throughout the planning process and on the big day, neither of these disappointed! Kim is prompt, organized, friendly, understanding, and down to earth. She was so great at answering emails and let me stop by the venue several times during the planning process to try out how my decorations would look. The venue is gorgeous with hardwood floors, big windows, and beautiful chandeliers that it practically decorates itself. All night long guests were commenting on the beauty of the venue and how smooth everything went. Our big day went off without a hitch and it is very much so due to Kim and the ORCC staff. Many of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. We truly cannot thank Kim and the ORCC staff enough! This place is truly a hidden gem.

This venue was perfect for our wedding - Kim and the whole staff at Oak Ridge were fabulous to work with. Kim was very responsive to emails from our initial inquiry to even after the wedding and was easy going and fun to work with. The room is beautiful and the food selections were great. It poured buckets the day of our wedding, so we missed out on the golf course photo ops, but the Oak Ridge hospitality and indoor elements more than made up for it. From the large windows over looking the course to the spacious banquet room. There is a balcony for guest to hang out throughout the night that over looks the beautifully groomed golf course. We had about 300 guest and there was definitely enough space for everyone. Kim was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was quick to respond and willing to meeting with us whenever we wanted to go through some ideas. She was honest with her opinions when it came time to make decisions. She gave us great recommendation when we were deciding between a few vendors and she communicated well with them when it came time for finalizing details. The rest of the staff was professional and helpful throughout the whole wedding and made the night follow smoothly. The kitchen did a really great job preparing the meals. Everything came out fairly quick once we sat down. And everything was cooked properly and tasted fantastic. They did a great job with presentation of the plates as well. We received a lot of compliments on dinner. Overall we had a wonderful experience with Oak Ridge Country Club and would highly recommend them.

My husband and I had such a wonderful experience at Oak Ridge. We are SO incredibly happy that we made the decision to book our reception there. Absolutely gorgeous grounds and the inside speaks for itself! The staff at Oak Ridge were some of the nicest and sincere people we met while on the hunt for our venue. What sealed the deal for us was working with Kim. Kim is the on-site wedding coordinator and she is one of the best people to work with. Kim gave us countless walk throughs, promptly responded to ALL of our emails, sat alongside us for meal tastings and meetings, worked with us on our budget and ever-changing guest count and was genuinely there for us EVERY step of the way. My husband and I had such a wonderful experience at Oak Ridge. We are SO incredibly happy that we made the decision to book our reception there. Absolutely gorgeous grounds and the inside speaks for itself! The staff at Oak Ridge were some of the nicest and sincere people we met while on the hunt for our venue. What sealed the deal for us was working with Kim. Kim is the on-site wedding coordinator and she is one of the best people to work with. Kim gave us countless walk throughs, promptly responded to ALL of our emails, sat alongside us for meal tastings and meetings, worked with us on our budget and ever-changing guest count and was genuinely there for us EVERY step of the way. We have so many reasons to recommend this place. Go and take a tour, this place does not disappoint!

We chose Oak Ridge Country Club as the venue for our wedding due to its beautiful interior and exterior and great location to where we live and Minneapolis. Kim was wonderful to work with. She was quick to respond to email and very accommodating throughout the process. She had great ideas and was willing to work with our unique requests. We had our ceremony in the upper foyer overlooking the golf course, which was absolutely beautiful. Our reception took up the entire ballroom, which, similarly, was beautiful. The venue has dark wood everywhere and is very classy. The staff were wonderful. The food was amazing. They allowed us to make up our own dishes and did them extremely well. All of our guests loved the food. We were married April 12th, which we were hoping would be lovely and green; however, we had a blizzard instead, but it was equally beautiful and we now think we lucked out with how it looked. I would highly recommend this venue. You won’t regret it.

Oak Ridge Country Club (ORCC) is the best! Kim and the staff there are PHENOMENAL. Being a country club they do a lot of events daily for members and they have to do them well; which means they are a well-oiled machine. Kim provided the best insight on possible timelines, and best arrangements for the room, based on our flow of the day and set up. We had ~255 guests and had room for the band, DJ, and dance floor without needing to move tables, yet the room didn't feel too massive. The indoor ballrooms themselves are so beautiful you truly need minimal decor. There are windows all around for great natural lighting and ample space for a cocktail hour! We hear time and time again about how good everyone's apps, dinner, and late-night pizza was! At our tasting there wasn't one bad thing we tried, you can't go wrong with your choices. I think at first I was hesitant to consider any country clubs because you'd tend to think they are more expensive. ORCC was competitive if not better since they didn't have a ton of hidden fees and were more all-inclusive, yet you got SO much more for your money. I didn't have a single worry for my day because of how supported I felt by Kim and her team, and how flawlessly they executed everything.

The Oak Ridge Country Club was an absolutely perfect venue for our November wedding. Not only was the main ballroom large and beautiful, but our favorite feature of the room was the large windows that opened up the ballroom and allowed a generous amount of natural light in, which led to beautiful photos.We were able to go outside for our photo session in the snow before and after the ceremony and the photos turned out wonderful. The course is truly a beautiful place for wedding photos, no matter the season.The number one compliment we heard from our guests was how good the food was. Starting with the hor d'oeuveres during the cocktail hour in the lobby and ending with the main course meal options of chicken, steak, and pasta. Everyone left satisfied and full.All of the staff members at the Oak Ridge Country Club were professional and very easy to work with. Kim from day one, was accommodating to all of our requests and helped make our wedding vision come to life. We would recommend the Oak Ridge Country Club to anyone looking to get married at a beautiful venue with great food and amazing staff.

We simply can’t say enough about Oak Ridge Country Club. When we first visited the main room we had already shopped around at many other venues and we just could not land on “the one”. The second we walked in to the Oak Ridge ballroom we instantly knew this was the place we wanted to have our wedding. The room is amazing and versatile, and the view out onto the course (especially at sunset) is outstanding. In addition to the ballroom itself the lobby area, locker rooms, hallways etc all have a very eloquent look and feel. For our wedding we chose to have our reception and ceremony both at Oak Ridge With the use of a divider wall and loads of help from their amazing staff (we will get to them in a minute) we were able to have this be a seamless process. We were able to use the golf course for our wedding party photos and let me tell you, this course is beautiful. We were taken on a photo tour of different locations around the course and it yielded some amazing pictures. The staff as well as the golf club members were all jovial in their celebratory comments and congratulations on our big day. It made for a very pleasant and positive wedding. Kim was amazing to work with, whenever we had any questions she got back in us promptly and was always very helpful and friendly. The day of the wedding Kim wanted to make sure we had everything we needed and would check in on us often throughout the day. In the preparation days where (many) things get discussed and planned she was absolutely a gem to work with. She had thought of everything already and made the entire process easy as possible, taking a lot of the weight of the event off our shoulders. The staff at Oak Ridge was very friendly and you could tell they were excited to be a part of our big day. No joke we got a lot of comments from our guests about how friendly, professional and courteous the staff was. It is something that I did not give much thought to in the choosing of our venue to be honest, staff manners and attitude is something that is hard to quantify when you are choosing your location for the big day. However let me tell you that the service here was fantastic. They were all very professional. They knew the plan of the day, hit all the cues for toasts and cake etc, but were also not in the way whatsoever, it was impressive. Overall, I can’t even imagine our wedding taking place anywhere else. We received so many compliments on this venue on the days that followed our wedding from various guests and family members that were in attendance. Come to think of it, almost every guest I talked to commented about it. If you want my advice, don’t pass this place up!

Our experience with Oak Ridge Country Club was beyond amazing and everything we could’ve hoped for on our special day. Aside from being an absolutely gorgeous and elegant venue, the staff here go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. Kim, the coordinator, is so great at what she does. She puts 110% into her work—the day of our wedding she was on site for 12+ hours helping out in any way she could. Oak Ridge is a hidden gem as a wedding reception venue. From the first of our multiple tours until we left at the end of the night, Kim was accommodating, responsive and organized. The entire planning process was stress-free; even when we had last minute changes, Oak Ridge handled them without issue or concern. Any time we had a question, any time we wanted to see the space again, Kim was always willing to help out. We were also given the ability to head out onto the course, in GOLF CARTS, to take pictures on their beautiful course. They allowed our photographer to pick the spot that would give the best pictures, rather than limiting us to a small patch of grass right outside the doors. The food was outstanding, coming out hot and fresh. Passed appetizers were delicious, and it always felt like a server was there with something as soon as you thought of it. We got the chicken and the walleye, and couldn’t have asked for better. One of our guests even thanked us for the food, commenting that it was, hands down, the best meal at a reception she’s ever had. Our late night snacks–a variety of pizzas and MINI DONUTS–were amazing! We received multiple compliments not only about the food and service, but the overall space as well. With new wood flooring, Oak Ridge stands out among country clubs with a modern and elegant look. And as an added bonus, the dance floor is wherever someone is dancing–no small linoleum tile as an added fee. The upstairs lobby was a perfect space for a cocktail hour, with extra room along a windowed hallway overlooking the scenic course. Even better, it was a perfect location for the Puppy Party we organized with local shelter Secondhand Hounds. Considering all that was included (mics and sound for speeches, tables, chairs, linens, set up and tear down), we never felt nickel and dimed. Pricing was competitive, fair and transparent. Oak Ridge really was a differentiator in how our wedding day turned out and we highly recommend it as a wedding venue.

I can't even begin to express what an amazing experience we had at Oak Ridge! We hadn't heard about it prior to visiting, so we weren't sure what to expect. We were blown away immediately upon seeing the venue for the first time and especially when we met Kim, the most amazing event planner there! We knew this was going to be the venue of our dreams - elegant interior, delicious food and wine, great value, gorgeous scenery, stunning views, perfect staff to help the day of...the list goes on and on. Kim and her staff were unbelievably flexible and helpful throughout the entire time leading up to the wedding. She was always so quick to respond and extremely accommodating. They let me visit multiple times to plan and think about set up and color schemes. I didn't need to do much decorating because the club is so naturally beautiful and elegant. The huge lounge for the cocktail hour was perfect - guests could sip wine and listen to music while looking out over the gorgeous landscape and golf course. Then the doors open to the beautiful ballroom that is also surrounding by beautiful floor to ceiling windows (but with the option for blinds too)! They helped make my day flow absolutely perfectly - from letting the bridal party use golf carts to drive to good picture spots on the course to starting the dinner right on time, to having more than enough bartenders to make sure there was no long line....it was simply perfect. We were able to have the wedding of our dream and our 275 guests had an AMAZING time - we owe it all to Oak Ridge Country Club, Kim, and the staff! Thank you for everything!

Amazing! All-inclusive style venue was exactly what I was looking for as the less work I had to do the better. They handled set-up (tables/chairs/linens), tear-down, catering, bar... the staff was a dream to work with! Lots of meetings to figure out what we wanted and then we were not bothered the day of with trivial questions. Inside ceremony area and ballroom were already gorgeous so very little decorating was needed on our end. Kim and her staff are amazing!!!

Fantastic. This venue is GORGEOUS and the wedding planning with catering director Kim Trzpuc runs like a well-oiled machine. The price is excellent for what they provide. The food portions are large and they have brand new wood floors that make the venue even more beautiful. We had both our ceremony and reception there which went as smooth as possible given an unbelievable snowstorm that was sent our way. Because of the windows and snow, it looked like we were in a snow globe through the duration of the night and was absolutely stunning. The locker rooms provide a posh and pampering getting ready space for both the women and men. I had about 15 people getting ready in the women’s locker room and we were not cramped for space. After our shuttle we hired dropped off our guests for the ceremony, they advised it was too dangerous to return guests because of the blizzard. Oak Ridge quickly stepped in to help find alternative transportation home, which they found, but then that bus got stuck, so they troubleshot that issue as well. They were short-staffed because many of their staff could not get in because of the storm, but we could not feel it. Their staff stayed even though the roads were only getting worse. We are so thankful they handled this so gracefully and remained in high spirits, it helped us follow suit. I highly recommend this venue to anyone considering it.

Selecting Oak Ridge for our reception venue was the GREATEST decision! Everyone who attended the wedding was SO complimentary of the service, the food, and the ballroom! My husband and I fell in love with the venue when we toured it. Kim is a total gem and an absolute joy to work with! She was so patient and helpful, both on the day of our wedding, and the entire year we were planning! She is so professional and offered great advice for scheduling events during the reception. When trying to decide what we wanted to serve for dinner, Kim was so flexible! We asked her to pull pricing information for a variety of different styles and servings, but never blinked an eye at the added work this likely caused her. I've said it already, but it is worth it to mention again - the food was FANTASTIC! The ballroom is stunning, especially now that they have installed wood floors! The windows facing outside to the golf course provided great natural light until the sun went down. Once it was dark, the lighting in the ballroom was romantic - not too dim and not overly bright. We opted to serve a plated dinner to our guests, and the staff served everyone effortlessly. Additionally, at the end of the night, the staff stayed to help clean up and pack up our decorations - they were a huge help! Having Kim in charge of the reception left us totally at ease that everything would proceed as planned! If you're considering Oak Ridge for your wedding or reception, do it! It's a great decision and everything will be perfect!

Selecting Oak Ridge for our reception venue was the GREATEST decision! Everyone who attended the wedding was SO complimentary of the service, the food, and the ballroom! My husband and I fell in love with the venue when we toured it. Kim is a total gem and an absolute joy to work with! She was so patient and helpful, both on the day of our wedding, and the entire year we were planning! She is so professional and offered great advice for scheduling events during the reception. When trying to decide what we wanted to serve for dinner, Kim was so flexible! We asked her to pull pricing information for a variety of different styles and servings, but never blinked an eye at the added work this likely caused her. I've said it already, but it is worth it to mention again - the food was FANTASTIC! The ballroom is stunning, especially now that they have installed wood floors! The windows facing outside to the golf course provided great natural light until the sun went down. Once it was dark, the lighting in the ballroom was romantic - not too dim and not overly bright. We opted to serve a plated dinner to our guests, and the staff served everyone effortlessly. Additionally, at the end of the night, the staff stayed to help clean up and pack up our decorations - they were a huge help! My husband and I got married in June of 2017 and had our reception at ORCC and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Oak Ridge! The first time we stepped foot inside for our tour, we were instantly sold. The entire planning process went so smooth right from the beginning. Kim (catering director) was so extremely helpful from start to finish and always answered our emails in a timely manner. Our wedding day couldn't have gone any better, it was an absolutely beautiful day and our pictures turned out phenomenal on the golf course. *note* being able to take pictures out on the golf course was another selling factor as most country clubs do not allow this. The golf pros even had several golf carts all lined up for our entire wedding party to head out for pictures (so. much. fun). We received so many compliments from all of our guests as well, the food was great, the service was wonderful and the entire venue looked exceptional. All in all I would highly recommend ORCC- I wish we could relive our wedding day a million times over!

We loved having our wedding reception at Oak Ridge Country Club! As non-members, my husband and I were very satisfied with the incredible value and quality service we received. We were looking for a venue that could seat a large amount of guests (we had around 300) but wanted to do something other than a hotel ballroom. The reception space at Oak Ridge is stunning. With windows surrounding almost the entire ballroom, there was a lot of natural light and a gorgeous view of the course. We were able to take pictures on the course with our large wedding party and had a lot of different scenery options. Compared to the other country clubs we visited in the area, Oak Ridge was by far the most accommodating. We received so many compliments from our guests on the beautiful space and exceptional food. Robyn the Catering Director was also very helpful, professional, and responsive during the entire planning process. From food tastings to even the smallest details, Robyn made planning the reception portion of our day surprisingly easy and everything turned out perfectly. Everyone we worked with at Oak Ridge was very friendly and the staff is top notch. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.

We wanted bright windows and something a little more unique. After viewing several venues and reviewing menus, prices, layout, etc. we were sold on Oak Ridge. It really is a value, minutes from downtown Minneapolis. The food was absolutely delicious (not your standard wedding fare here!). A year and a half later, we still get comments on this. And Robyn (their Catering Director) was so easy to work with. She stayed in constant communication with us. All of the day-of staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Everything ran seamlessly.

We used Oak Ridge as our wedding reception venue in the fall of 2012 as non-country club members. We LOVED it. The ballroom is large (we had a little over 300 guests) with neutral coloring and up-to date- so we didn't have to do a lot of decorating. Because there wasn’t an event before ours- we were able to come in the day before and do a lot of set up on our own which I really appreciated. Robyn- our event coordinator was fantastic, from managing tables/arranging decorations and last minute changes and minute details- she was outstanding and super helpful to answer all of our questions.\r\rWe were able to customize our experience by having a mixture of rounds/rectangle tables and a unique \"harvest table\" for our head table so that all of our wedding party could talk to each other during dinner. The dance floor was provided (but I wish it was bigger!). We hosted a cocktail hour in the lobby area while the wedding party took pictures out on the golf course- which turned out STUNNING and are my favorite pictures of our entire wedding day. There was only bottle beer available for our wedding which was quite expensive- but I believe they've since added keg options. The only small negative was that dinner took quite a bit to serve (plated dinner for 300 people takes a while) so I wish we would have done speeches between salad/dinner while we waited- we didn't think it was going to take as long as we did- people were hungry! Overall, my husband and I are so happy with my experience at Oak Ridge- it was exactly the type of venue my husband and I were looking for and was something different and unique in the west metro. \r
