Located in Spring, TX, Oak Tree Manor is a sophisticated mansion wedding venue. Surrounded by towering oaks, this home offers a refined setting for ceremonies and receptions. One of the live oaks on the grounds is listed in the Harris County Tree Registry, while one of the willow oaks is widely admired. Oak Tree Manor was first built in 1876, and its original homesteaders were the Wunsche Brothers. Weddings have been held here for generations, and the team here is honored to help couples bring their dreams to life. The house has been carefully maintained throughout the years, with the only major additions being a gazebo, swimming pool, reception hall, and living room. They preserved the home's original wooden features as much as possible throughout the various updates. Ceremonies at Oak Tree Manor can be held under the branches of the two-hundred-year-old oak tree. Receptions, meanwhile, can be held in the sophisticated banquet hall. With enough space for up to 150 guests, this room can also play host to cocktail hours. The manor hosts just one wedding per day, so the ceremony can be held in the hall in case of a last-minute rain shower. You can make a dramatic entrance to your celebration by descending the Tuscan-inspired staircase. High ceilings maintain an air of spaciousness, while a grand chandelier illuminates the polished concrete floor. The hall also houses a dressing room for you and your party to use as you see fit. The staff here is ready to help however they can, and can also work through Spanish if it's more comfortable for you.

We were planning our wedding for over a year 1/2 and every time we had questions, wanted to see the venue, or nettingâs Mr. Jose Lara ( the Venueâs manager) was always quick to respond, very helpful / informative, and the venue staff helped us so much so that we got non stop compliments even today almost a month later saying how nice everyone was. Couldnât have asked for a better place or person to talk with. Not to mention that no matter where you look you feel like you are in a garden fairytale. Amazing . Blown away to say the least.

This is an excellent venue. It's beautiful and spacious and all our guests loved it. The staff is amazing, they helped with everything. My husband and I just had our vow renewal here 3 weeks ago, and all of the other reviews about Oak Tree Manor (OTM) are absolutely true. Jose was my venue coordinator and he was communicative and accommodating from the very beginning of planning. He responded to all of my emails, long and short, no matter how trivial, within 12 hours or less. We visited the venue 4 times during the course of planning, and Jose did not hover. He gave us space to walk around and look at things at our own pace but was there to answer any questions we had while we were there.On the day of the event, everything went well! We dropped everything off to OTM to set up in the morning, and everything was so well taken care of that my husband and I had time to take a nap in the main house before we needed to get ready and before the vendors arrived, lol! The valet went smoothly, the OTM staff offered refreshments before the ceremony to help keep people cool in the 100 degree Texas summer heat, the oak tree is amazing and provided much needed shade during the ceremony.Even our guests who are picky eaters complimented on OTM's catering! The catering staff was attentive and cleared drinks and food from the tables in the timely manner. The bartender executed and served our signature drinks flawlessly. There was never a line at the bar after the initial rush of guests entering for cocktail hour. My husband and I didn't get a chance to try the appetizers during cocktail hour but my guests told me that they were passed around very well and the servers even made a point to pass the trays around to guests waiting at the bar. You also can't beat the price and selection of OTM's in-house catering!OTM was a bed and breakfast before they became a full time wedding venue. We made use of the B&B option! We paid for on-site lodging at the main house and townhouse for my husband, me, my parents, son, and brother. The houses were kept at a nice cool temperature and it was easy to fall asleep after a night of partying. The morning after, Magda was in the main house making breakfast for my family and it was delicious! It was a spread of tamales, eggs, toast, bacon, fruit, yogurt, and a select of fruit juices, coffee, and milk. We forgot to take a photo, otherwise, I would've included a photo of the breakfast spread in this review.All in all, OTM was a fantastic choice for our vow renewal. My father is disabled and we have a 2 year old, so having the onsite lodging option to allow them to go rest whenever they needed while the rest of the party was going put OTM a level above the rest of the venues we looked at. We did not need to worry about asking someone to drive them to a hotel and we also did not need to worry about driving ourselves to a hotel after everything was over. Weddings are tiring!OTM had all of our decor, and leftover alcohol and cake perfectly packed up and on hand trucks all ready for us to load in our cars the next morning when we checked out.Highly recommend! Thank you Jose and Magda for maintaining and operating such a wonderful venue!

When we first stepped on the grounds on Oak Tree Manor, I immediately knew that this was where I wanted to have our wedding. This place is beyond beautiful, it is definitely a hidden gem. The oak tree is breathtaking, and imagining having our ceremony under the oak tree was all i could daydream about after having our tour there. Their bride and groom quarters are also very nice, spacious and accommodating. I was so happy to have chosen Oak tree manor for our wedding, Jose was the venue manager who assisted us. Since day one from our tour he was attentive, and always responded to any questions or concerns in a promptly manner that we had leading up to the wedding day. Food from Chef Mark was great, all of our guests enjoyed the food. Their bartender was amazing and executed the signature drinks perfectly, the bar always had a line. Our day came out so perfect, and we thank Oak tree manor for making our dream wedding come true!!

We had our wedding at Oak Tree Manor October 15, 2022. We had an outdoor ceremony and reception under the gorgeous lit up 200 year old oak tree. This venue has such beautiful grounds and so many awesome spots for stunning photos. The Victorian Vibe with all the beautiful antiques are what drew me in, not to mention the fabulous bridal cottage where we spent the day getting ready we felt like Hollywood movie stars! I love that old Hollywood style & it definitely set the tone for the best of of my life kinda day! Haydee & the staff are there to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. They even keep an eye out to make sure nothing looks out if place or off. So you can just relax and focus on making memories with your guest and enjoy your perfect day! They really care about their clients! This is not just a business to make money these people have a passion for weddings and celebrating one of God's most wonderful gifts to us! I got SO MANY compliments on the venue and how stunning it is! I knew I wanted something under the stars all night long! The food was so delicious, great seasoning, great portions & served hot, it did not disappoint. Haydee always answers calls and is on top of answering any and all questions and that is so refreshing! The staff is helpful, happy & very organized. I highly recommend Oak Tree Manor for any bride who want to hear her guest rave about how gorgeous the venue is, shine on her special day and do so in the perfect ambiance.

My daughter's dream was to get married under an old oak tree and with only 5 weeks to plan her wedding, Haydee and her team made our experience one for the history books. From start to finish, this was by far my favorite experience with any vendor to date. Haydee answered all my many questions and supported us from start to finish. I can't say enough great things about the grounds. From the old house in the front, to the reception hall and grooms house in the back, everything was set up perfectly as described. The grounds are maintained very well and are full of mature plants and even has a gazebo in the front for guest seating and picture opportunities. And then there's the tree! The tree is a beautiful sight in the daytime, but the nighttime is when the magic happens. My daughter's ceremony was set an hour before dusk so we had post ceremony pictures with the \"golden hour\" sunset perfectly cascading over the tree. The reception hall was setup for 100 guests with outdoor seating as well. Haydee was also was available all day the day of, which made last minute questions a breeze. Overall I would like to thank Haydee and the team at Oak Tree Manor for such a wonderful experience!!!

My dream was always to get married under a 200 hundred year old oak tree covered in fairy lights, I can't believe I found one in Texas. It was the most beautiful setting and we have had so many comments about how gorgeous everything was. We could not have asked for a better venue to get married. They were incredibly accommodating in the early days of COVID when our original date was not going to work. Big thanks to Jose for all the quick responses to questions and helping us through the entire process. Also, thanks to an amazing staff who took care of us and our guests during the reception.

It was the most beautiful setting and we have had so many comments about how gorgeous everything was. We could not have asked for a better venue to get married. They were incredibly accommodating in the early days of COVID when our original date was not going to work. Big thanks to Jose for all the quick responses to questions and helping us through the entire process. Also, thanks to an amazing staff who took care of us and our guests during the reception.

As soon as we arrived, we knew it was meant to host our reception. The booking process was super easy and transparent with Haydeeâs guidance. Haydee was in constant communication with us so we never felt unsure of our decision. In addition, the payment plan offered to us was helpful in making the wedding planning process stress free. We opted for all the basic necessities and did not do upgrades, and the reception was still magical due to the beautiful and serene atmosphere under the oak tree. The reception itself was very smooth and so much fun! The waiters, bartenders and other staff were very approachable and funny! We highly recommend Oak Tree Manor!

Food was great and guests could not get over how amazing the spaces were. The price is the best you will get for such a beautiful venue and we loved picking the options for dinner and open bar. 100% recommend.

If you are considering Oak Tree Manor, my advice is to book it! The pictures are beautiful but it is even better in person. We absolutely loved working with Haydee and her team, I was thrilled that so much was included with the venue (including the tasty food!), and we had a magical celebration. If you are like me and donât want to mess with a lot of fussy decor, Oak Tree Manorâs natural beauty makes it easy (of course, you could definitely add your own touch if you wanted to). We were looking for an outdoor venue, partly for covid safety, and when I saw the trees at Oak Tree Manor I fell in love. We live in Dallas but I grew up near Houston and my family is still there. We also loved the proximity to IAH since we were inviting many guests from out of state. Haydee took me on a zoom tour and explained all that they offer, and I was totally sold. I had a lot of questions and Haydee was always quick to respond. She worked with me to schedule a site visit on the weekend so that both of us could be there. She even went above and beyond the night of our event when one of the vendors was less than professional. Our guests were full of compliments for the staff and the beautiful fairyland that is Oak Tree Manor at night. Shoutout to the bartenders who made our signature cocktails with just my written recipe. Close to our September 11th date, I was a little nervous about the weather but it cooled off just in time, plus the trees keep everything on the grounds a few degrees cooler. We loved being able to hang out with our wedding party and get ready in the beautiful houses on-site. Highly recommend!

Getting married under that majestic tree was something out of a fairytale. All the lights twinkling as we read our vows to spend our life together was the perfect touch to our ceremony. I fell in love with the manor the moment I pulled up for my first tour. Everything about it was magically vintage and beautiful for a fully outdoor wedding! The lights are especially enchanting, and the entire venue was adored by all who came to join us for our big day!Jose was fabulous to work with. He made sure every question was answered and nothing was overlooked. He was very detailed and organized and helped make planning all venue related items a breeze. Day of was just as magical as I had hoped! Despite suffering the big freeze in February 2021 just a month and a half beforehand the garden was still beautiful and enchanting. My family and day of help had plenty of good things to say about the staff that assisted and worked that day, they were all super helpful and made sure we had everything together before the wedding, and they were super gracious and helpful to me when I constantly needed water because I got overheated in my dress during the reception! I loved everything about the manor and the people who helped make my dream a reality. It was perfect for an outdoor spring wedding!

OMG, OTM is hands down the absolutely most amazing venue for couples looking to have a beautiful and memorable wedding. It is truly a diamond in the rough. Jose was so accommodating and helpful, always responding to our questions promptly and courteously (even when it was clearly stated on the contract or if we had already asked 10 times). They graciously changed to date due to the pandemic, which put both my husband and I at ease. The food was amazing as others have stated and service was impeccable. I'm excited to book the B&B for our one-year anniversary! Do NOT pass up looking at this venue...so worth it!

We immediately knew that it was âthe oneâ and though we checked out a few more venues, we found each one dull in comparison. Oak Tree Manor is truly a magical place. We booked about a year in advance to our original date and were lucky enough to visit the venue several times throughout the year, they even hosted photos and cookies with Santa at Christmas time. Each time we visited we fell in love with it all over again. Then covid happened and we had to postpone. Jose was great and so accommodating with all of the changes. It took away so much of the stress of being a pandemic bride. He was so easy and a pleasure to work with.Our wedding was yesterday and it couldnât have been more perfect. Oak Tree Manor was more whimsical than ever. ALL of our guests continuously told us how much they loved the venue, how great the food was, how on top of things the servers were and how it was the best wedding they have ever been to.We went back to the venue today to pick up a few things that were left behind and I said to my new husband âI feel really emotional right now because I just love this place so much and I canât believe itâs all over. We will have to have our daughters sweet 16 here so we have an excuse to come backâ Oak Tree Manor is truly a hidden gem and we will always treasure it more than words could ever express!

Jose was seriously the best man for the job. We got engaged and already paid for the venue in full before the coronavirus pandemic really hit the US. He was so accomodating. Originally we were going to do the ceremony at our place of religion, but because of the pandemic it closed down and made the process much less welcoming to guests (for obvious reasons), but we couldn't bear to get married without our siblings to witness it. Needless to say, Jose was completely understanding when we said we'd like to have the ceremony and not just the reception at OTM. We even had some last-minute changes the day before the wedding and he made them happen. Seriously, if you want a simple, but elegant wedding OTM is the place to do it.

There are no words to describe the magic that is Oak Tree Manor! From the owner, to the planners, to the old Victorian house, to the 200+yr old oak tree, to the lush green garden, and so much more, this place is truly a piece of heaven! My husband and I searched for venues and attended many open houses and even the bridal extravaganza, but nothing came close to this place. As soon as we got here, we knew it was the place for us. When you drive into the gates of the manor, you feel instantly enchanted with the beauty that is all around you. We worked with Haydee from the very beginning and she made us feel like family! She was very sweet and professional from beginning to end. I always had tons of questions about everything and she was always there for me when I needed her with so much patience! The owner, Maggie, is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. Truly! This beautiful manor is her home and she shares it with all of us because it makes her happy to see all the love that walks through those gates. We stayed the night on the day of our wedding and we received a full 3 course homemade breakfast from Maggie in the morning. It was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to end our wedding weekend here. Thank you so much Haydee, Maggie, and all of Oak Tree Manor staff for making our wedding dreams come true! From the moment I saw the stunning, historic oak tree on their property, I knew I wanted to get married under the tree. It was the only venue we visited before signing a contract! Haydee was wonderful to work with and helped me find some of my other vendors. She also was very patient with my Dad who helped as my wedding coordinator. There are lots of options for your menu, and I also appreciated that you could do \"extra\" things, like upgrade linens, etc., if you want but did not have to. The entire property is beautiful and I was so happy to have my ceremony and reception in the same place. I also was very glad that I could get ready on the property -- it helped keep me calm to have my hair and makeup done there instead of driving a lot of places. My now husband and I also decided to stay the night there. The breakfast we had the next morning with my family was delicious and a nice way to finish our wedding festivities. Our wedding at Oak Tree Manor was amazing. It was a great price and the staff was great. There was not much need for decorations, the venue practically decorates itself. Although we did have a few. We paid for the reception to be outside but it rained. Thankfully there is a reception hall and Haydee did an excellent job making a backup plan. This place definitely has options! Any time I had a question I always got a reply within a timely manor. As the bride I felt at ease knowing all my questions and concerns would answered. I got so many complements on how beautiful the venue is, although I cant take credit for that. If you are looking for a rustic, boho, backyard, or shabby chic vibe, this place has it! The caterer recommended by Haydee was awesome as well. I'm telling you this place has it all. I'm so pleased with the way everything turned out despite the weather.

Our wedding at Oak Tree Manor was amazing. It was a great price and the staff was great. There was not much need for decorations, the venue practically decorates itself. Although we did have a few. We paid for the reception to be outside but it rained. Thankfully there is a reception hall and Haydee did an excellent job making a backup plan. This place definitely has options! Any time I had a question I always got a reply within a timely manor. As the bride I felt at ease knowing all my questions and concerns would answered. I got so many complements on how beautiful the venue is, although I cant take credit for that. If you are looking for a rustic, boho, backyard, or shabby chic vibe, this place has it! The caterer recommended by Haydee was awesome as well. I'm telling you this place has it all. I'm so pleased with the way everything turned out despite the weather.

I loved getting ready in the historic main house and having the other house available for the men to get ready in. All of our guests were raving about the venue, too - asking how we found such a great place, and talking about how stunning it was. On top of that, we worked with Haydee throughout the wedding planning process and she was just AMAZING. I discovered Oak Tree after looking at many different venues. We wanted an outdoor ceremony and when we found Oak Tree Manor, we knew it was the perfect fit for us!The venue and the grounds, are well maintained and clean. The oak tree is a sight to behold! It was lit up during our ceremony and so many of our guests commented on how lovely our venue was. Oak Tree Manor opens up the main house to both wedding parties the day of the ceremony. A lot of venues just give you a room to get ready in. The rooms in the main house are spacious and full of character! The main house is large enough for both wedding parties to get ready in. My husband and I stayed in the main house for our wedding night. They decorated the room for and provided us with a bottle of champagne. We were also provided with a complimentary authentic Mexican breakfast the next day. I can confidently say that it was one of the best I've ever had. It was such a lovely experience! The service was impeccable and Jose is great at communicating in a timely manner. He was in constant communication with us every step of the way. He did not mind answering any of my questions, no matter how silly I thought they were. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone who wants an outdoor wedding. We came upon Oak Tree Manor by complete coincidence and we completely fell in love with it. Our wedding was September 23rd, 2016- right at the end of summer. The outside ceremony started at 6pm followed by an outside reception. Throughout the whole process, Jose was super helpful. We only found out about Oak Tree Manor when we were in the area, so we called Jose and he actually came out to meet us within an hour of us talking. He walked us through the venue, and gave us different options based on what other couples had done. He kept us up-to-date on venue events (like open houses), and was always so patient and accomodating with us. He knew our hearts were set on having everything done outdoors- that's one of the things that sold us on the venue- so on Friday morning, when it stormed he called us and let us know that the reception had to be done inside. We understood and accepted, and so everything was set up inside. However, at 4PM (when it had stopped raining for a few hours) when the bridal court was inside changing, Jose and his team actually took EVERYTHING outside and set it up BEAUTIFULLY. My heart soared that day and we cannot thank Oak Tree Manor enough. The staff was wonderful and attentive, the venue was beautiful and ambient was calming and fun... they made it a true celebration. We recommend Oak Tree for everyone and everything. We seriously thank them for all their help!

Everyone talked about how beautiful the outdoor ceremony was in front of the lit up oak tree and grounds. The reception was indoors and looks like something out of a movie with it dual winding staircases. The bridal party and the bride and groom entered through the 2nd story and came down the staircases for their grand entrances â it was breathtaking! The bridal/grooms suites are an extra bonus and the whole place has such great character. Definitely recommend!!!

They were wonderful in helping me select everything, making sure I was happy with the layout and putting on the actual day. \r\rWe had planned for an outside reception, and I was excited when it didn't rain the day before or day of, but soggy ground from rain for four days straight the week of meant either slipping in the mud or moving the reception inside. I was super bummed, but they worked with me to make sure I was happy with the new indoor reception and even refunded the cost of the outdoor dance floor since we didn't end up needing one, which I really appreciated and hadn't expected. \r\rIt's the most beautiful outdoor ceremony site. An outdoor reception there would have been wonderful, but I'm still so pleased with how everything ended up and that there was an indoor option instead of being out of luck. \r\rIt's truly a magical place and the staff is wonderful.

The owners made sure the greenery and flowers were always beautiful and the manor was so quaint and perfect for our needs. I am so so so thankful I had my wedding here, it was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend the Oak Tree Manor.

This was the perfect place to have my wedding. The oak tree was beautiful for pictures and for the backdrop, the house was perfect to get ready in and wonderful for photos, and the reception hall was spacious and just as elegant and beautiful as the outside. Jose was wonderful to work with, they made everything easy and wanted the day to be as perfect for me as I did! The food was great and everyone really enjoyed the wedding and had a wonderful time. I am so so so thankful I had my wedding here, it was absolutely perfect! I highly recommend the Oak Tree Manor.

This venue is absolutely gorgeous! I love this place. The house is so charming and the tree is stunning. We got married in front of the huge oak tree and had our reception inside the hall. The staff did a good job, but I did not hire a wedding planner. The wedding coordinator told me it was not needed, that she would help the day of the wedding. That did not happen so much because she was in charge of telling all the servers and cooks what to do. I'm so glad that my Aunt was with us before we walked down the aisle, she helped with the timing. The wedding coordinator said she would help with that, but she didn't. Fair warning, I don't think you need a wedding planner but I would ask a close friend or family member to be a runner the day-of the wedding to help with emergencies and walking down the aisle timing. \rOther than that, the venue was beautiful! Everything went smoothly. It rained from 3-4PM (our ceremony was at 7PM) but the wedding coordinator ensured me that it would stop and we would have our wedding outside. Thank God, it did stop raining! They came and wiped down all the chairs and we were able to have our ceremony outside. Such a magical place!

Our wedding reception at oak tree manor was beautiful. Our facility coordinator, Jose, was awesome and so accommodating. Because my fiancé (at the time, now husband) and I both live out of town, we would often have to come see the venue late on Friday evenings or on the weekend and jose was always available for us to ask any questions or see anything. The grounds are beautiful and if you want a country garden wedding in the houston area, oak tree manor is your place. The only reason why I didn't give a full five star rating was that our reception was a large one and I believe, this was the largest wedding they've had. Because of this, they were unable to anticipate the exact number of servers, etc, so the service was slow. Also, the main hall was a little warm which was probably mainly because the (beautiful!) lighting in the hall. Over all, I am so happy we came across their booth at a wedding show because our wedding was perfect because of it!

Oak Tree Manor was the perfect venue for my outdoor wedding and indoor reception! The giant oak tree (and landscaping) is beautiful and provided enough shade that our guests were able to stay cool during our May wedding. The reception hall was also lovely (a must for me since I was nervous about rain). The pricing is very reasonable as it includes the catering, attentive waiters, bartenders, valet parking, tables, linens, etc. Jose, our coordinator, was extremely helpful and responded promptly to my many emails. I would highly recommend Oak Tree Manor if you are looking for a venue for an outdoor wedding!

My daughter was married here recently and we can't say enough about this lovely historic home that's been restored to become a bed and breakfast and event venue. The grounds are gorgeous, especially the giant historic oak tree it takes its name from, and the house is beautifully restored to period times. If you want an outdoor wedding, you'll be thrilled with this little gem, but there's a banquet hall if you'd rather be indoors. The staff is so pleasant and helpful, especially Haydee, before and the day of the ceremony.
