Ocotillo Golf Club is a spectacular wedding venue in sun-drenched Phoenix, AZ. Located in the town of Chandler, this lush estate in the desert lies minutes from Phoenix International Airport and a short drive from several Scottsdale attractions. Surrounded for miles by gorgeous green landscape, the Ocotillo Golf Club is a peaceful, secluded setting ideal for your rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, and ceremony. You can hold said ceremony in The Grove, with views of rolling greens and sparkling lakes that frame spectacular photo opportunities. After hearing you say 'I do,' your guests will accompany you to the 185-person Overlook Pavilion to begin the celebrations in earnest. Ocotillo Golf Club provides on-site catering via the stylish Tillo's Kitchen + Patio restaurant. The newly imagined space offers American cuisine, state-of-the-art A/V, and a relaxing atmosphere, inside or on the patio, the perfect spot for just about any occasion. The team at Ocotillo Golf Club is happy to speak with you and discuss your ideas, plans, and dreams for your big day. Before the ceremony begins, they will carefully and professionally arrange the outdoor arch, altar, tables, and chairs and organize the lighting all to your liking. Alongside the on-site catering, Ocotillo provides a bar service with a knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly serving staff. They are more than happy to create any number of your favorite beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. For your guests arriving from out of town, there is ample parking at the venue and, of course, several wheelchair access points.

We had an amazing ceremony held on a picturesque lawn, enjoyed the space of an upper patio/lawn for cocktail hour, and moved things inside to a lovely reception hall! All at one beautiful venue, thank you Ocotillo! Dinner prepared by Chef Scott and Team was excellent and a highlight amongst guests. The service, from outside attendants to behind the bar, was outstanding and Jennifer and Mary ensured our special night went off without a hitch.

Ocotillo was the perfect place for our wedding. Mary, Tiffany, and Kaley were the trifecta and made our day so special. They are very accomodating and always available for any questions. I highly suggest having your wedding here, I could not have picked a better venue.

I am so happy we chose to get married at Ocotillo Golf Club. The venue was absolutely beautiful for our ceremony and reception. Our coordinator, Jaidyn, was so helpful leading up to the wedding and throughout the entire day. The food was so good - so many of our guests are still telling us how much they loved the food! The whole staff was so organized and attentive and they added a lot of small personal touches for us that meant a lot. I definitely recommend checking out Ocotillo Golf Club :)

Thanks to the Wedgewood team we had our dream day come true!!! They are flexible, affordable and the Ocotillo Oasis staff are AMAZING! The venue at Ocotillo Oasis is beautiful! The food was amazing and they were very accommodating for gluten allergies. The coordinator we had Lora was amazing; she made our day stress-free. Everyone one there was great to work with! I would highly recommend using Wedgewood Weddings for your special day!

Our wedding day is rapidly approaching for the Ocotillo Oasis by Wedgewood Weddings. I’m reading reviews on the Knot and I truly wish we could have experienced the same thrilling feeling as other brides and grooms. I would love to write a stellar review, but unfortunately, we obviously have not gotten the same treatment. Our initial consultation with Jayla was good, however there were a few things that was left out that was important for us. We were excited that we found a place in our community that we loved as a substitute to our original plans to have a destination wedding. So excited we perhaps forgot to ask some key questions, but felt Wedgewood took that as the opportunity to woo us with all the pictures of things that are not included.Without even taking the time to think it over we gladly gave our deposit of over $3kto get the ball rolling on our anticipated nuptials. After getting home and the dust settled, reading over the huge binder of things, we started having questions. It was said numerous times that our wedding day is their most important thing for them and communication will be open and we can reach out at any time. Well, I would not be writing this review fs this was so. After several messages left and emails sent, our questions still have not been addressed, and let me just note that our initial meeting was at the end of July, its now the middle of October. Stacy, the manager of Wedgewood Ocotillo has been unreachable and seems just not to care about our concerns so returning a call is definitely not on her priority list. Oasis Ocotillo by Wedgewood has not lived up to our expectations for the enormous price tag of $13k. They were more than thrilled to take our money but everything else thus far has been mediocre at best. We have simply given up, has lost our excitement and simple have the attitude of we’ll try and make the best of it. How sad for my fiancé and I to feel this way for her big day.We would NOT recommend anyone to Oasis Ocotillo for their big day. This is very unfortunate and heartbreaking for us.

I am so beyond happy to be writing this review ♡ Our wedding was amazing, beautiful, and unforgettable. Everything was so easy to plan and everyone was so great to work with. Special shout outs go to Jayla, Lora, and Bri with your help planning and coordinating day of. DJ Gio was everything and more! I also used the preferred photographer Tara who was great and we had so much fun with some not so standard wedding photos. The food was out of this world and 2 weeks later I still have guests telling me how amazing it was. Thank you Chef Stephen and Terry for that! Our bartender Stacy killed it behind the bar, our captain Lucas was a pleasure and Anna the server was the sweetest. If I could do it all over again, I would :)

Incredibly thrilled about our experience with the Wedgewood team, less so about our experience with their DJ partner—consider yourself warned on that front. To start, I'll say that Wedgewood on its own gets 5 stars. We toured the venue shortly after going ring shopping, and the team was incredibly welcoming, especially considering we weren't even engaged yet. The lush golf course and sparkling water were so easy to fall in love with, and we were convinced once we saw the \"all-inclusive\" aspect of getting married here. So, we chose Ocotillo Oasis. Wedgewood gives all couples a binder full of worksheets to fill out and pick your details from appetizers to linens to ceremony decor. Nothing is left to chance (except the weather, for which there are contingency plans) and it's easy to knock out the binder over a weekend. Couples also get info about preferred vendors: We loved our cake tasting with Piece of Cake Desserts, and the florist at Blooming Bouquets had so many options to choose from! However, we're beyond disappointed in Giovanny at Direct Sounds DJ service. He was communicative and friendly leading up to the wedding, but the actual day was rough. Our biggest complaint was that he refused to play music at a reasonable volume, even after multiple family members and I asked him to turn it down. My aunt requested the volume be lowered, and she saw him turn it back up as she was walking away. Disrespectful. Additionally, he didn't give us forewarning about the mother/son and father/daughter dances or the bouquet toss or cake cutting. Without the heads up, those things felt rushed. It also meant our guests missed the cake cutting altogether and didn't even realize there was cake available. Finally, he didn't stick to the playlist we spent months curating, and when he played his own music, the dance floor cleared out quickly. So, I do recommend Wedgewood. I had a minimally stressful experience planning and executing my wedding with them, and it would have been perfect if I'd have hired my own DJ.

Wedgewood was fantastic to work with every step of the way! Natalia, Nicole, and Jayla were so fantastic to work with! They literally took care of everything! I cannot say enough great things about the people who helped put our wedding together! Our guests truly enjoyed our event and it is all thanks to the incredible staff! The food, the DJ, the bar, the cake, the floral, it was all amazing. Nicole and Jayla jumped right in to help bustle my dress when my mom and sister were struggling. My dad was impressed how Jayla was making sure that Jared and I had all the different hors d’oeuvres once we returned from pictures. Jared, myself, and our guests were truly impressed by how flawless our event was at Ocotillo! Wedgewood weddings at Ocotillo is a place that I will highly recommend to anyone having an event! My fiancé and I had to come to the rough decision to postpone our wedding. Because of COVID, majority of our family would not be able to attend. 80% are out of state and all of my fiancé’s family is high risk. On top of that, we have also been having financial troubles. In the end, our wedding would be about 5 people and whatever is cheapest for everything else. I reached out to Ocotillo and they told me that because of COVID, they are not pushing back any 2021 weddings. Absolutely no care for our wedding day. Venues always say they want you to have your dream wedding but Ocotillo just wants to have your money. I am devastated by the lack of care and flexibility.

This team is beyond outstanding. Every question, every concern was taken care of before I could even ask. During the actual event, surprises came around every corner with a little extra something that the team had put together for us. The ceremony space was beautiful and before we sat down for dinner, a photo of our first kiss was sitting framed at our table! It was hot that day but the staff always had a bottle of water and a snack waiting for us during pictures and before the grand entrance. We were even given a bottle of champagne on our way out the door that we plan to drink on our first anniversary! I'm so happy this turned out the way it did, while keeping our guests safe at the same time! This review doesn't even do it justice how grateful I feel for this venue's team (shout out to Natalia, specifically)!

Wedgewood made my wedding dream into a reality. Planning a wedding in the middle of a pandemic and finishing nursing school is hard for anyone. They kept us up to date and were so reassuring when questions regarding COVID were brought up. They always made sure we felt comforted about our wedding continuing on and ensuring we knew ourselves and our guests would be safe. They were so helpful in setting up and they made my decorations look better than I ever could've imagined. The staff always made sure myself and my groom were taken care of when it came to food and drinks. The wedding went off without a hitch and they handled everybody with grace and ease. Blessed and grateful that I had my wedding with this venue and this staff. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Everything is included in one price-The venue, the food, the bar service, the floral, the invitations, the DJ, the bakery, etc! We had so many comments about how awesome the DJ was and all the vendors made sure to touch base with us to make sure we had everything we needed. The venue itself is gorgeous and is exactly what I wanted.The only reason I gave it a 4 is because there were a ton of people at the venue when we arrived that had been there for a rehearsal and my guests had to ask them to leave certain areas. Also, the sprinklers came on right before my ceremony and several of my guests got wet and had to move as did the DJ! Lastly, a golf ball flew into my ceremony and almost hit one of my guests.Other than that, I would most definitely recommend this venue to others.

Our wedding at the Ocotillo Golf Club was simply beautiful! A golf course setting combined with all the wood and limestone, along with the beautiful floral provided by their Florist and a beautiful and spacious bridal suite, made for a perfect setting. We initially worked with Blayne and while we enjoyed our time with her, she left the property about halfway through the planning process to work at a new Wedgewood property. Natalia took over and with her experience and professionalism, the transition was seamless. She and Nicole were wonderful to work with. We were also very pleased with the Banquet Captain and his staff, who ensured that we and our guests were taken care of on our wedding day. The Open House was a great opportunity to see what the various vendors offered. The chef changed a couple of months before our wedding, so we were pleased to get a phone call from him to answer questions we had from the Open House. The food was very good, received many compliments from our guests, and the bartender was a delight to work with. Our guests loved her sense of humor, fun demeanor and professionalism.We did have one minor hiccup with the specialty napkins we ordered and although we did not have what was originally planned, we were contacted immediately by the Corporate Office who graciously apologized and did all they could to make the situation right...which we appreciated. Overlooking this minor detail, the venue was perfect for us. The setting, the staff, and all the special touches by the vendors made our day beautiful and so very special. We made the right choice by choosing the Ocotillo Golf Club. Thank You!

My wife and I were recently married this last December at the Wedgewood of Chandler at the Ocotillo Golf Course. This was a destination wedding for both of us, coming from Iowa. We had known of the location from previous visits to the area and we were aware that the venue was taken under new management in recent years. When we finally had a chance to tour the venue we were pleasantly surprised by the options that were available for the venue. The ceremony provided its own private courtyard that provides an intimate setting for you and your wedding party. The South facing courtyard was perfect for our winter desert theme wedding and provided a beautiful backdrop as the sun began to set towards the end of our ceremony. The reception hall inside worked perfectly with our theme which tied together the wood, rock, and metal really well with our theme. With our wedding party totaling 60 people we were not short on space and even had ample room to move about between tables and groups of people sharing conversation. By far the best aspect of our experience was how willing the staff was to accommodate some of our ideas which included a kids entertainment table and smore’s bar. This venue truly felt unique to our experience and we were so pleased with how smooth the day was. Wedgewood is organized, thorough, and they put out a good product.

I gotta be really honest, when I saw the pictures of the venue and the prices of the packages I was 100% certain I would book it for my wedding there the same day. I've made an appointment for the tour and realized that the venue is not as affordable as it claims to be. The venue package brochure lists 22% tax that is being added to your total - fair enough. Now what the package brochure doesn't tell you is that that there's additional service fee which when you add it up to the tax it gives you a whooping 30% that is being added to your total. Not only that, for Saturday evening wedding for 50 guests in February I was told I would have to spend 14k minimum (before taxes). I don't mind spend money on my wedding day but I refuse to work with establishments that do not tell you about minimums like that upfront, this should've been listed on their package brochure.

I can not stop raving about this venue! This was my 8th venue that I looked at and knew automatically that this was it. The venue is just so gorgeous with a beautiful lawn view. Natalia and Blayne were so helpful with the planning and executing. They helped my nerves and I felt at ease with them. I didn't have to worry about a thing on my day. Everything went so smoothly and was everything that I wanted! The food was delicious, the music was on point, and the settings were excellent! I recommend this venue to everyone!

It was like someone put all of my thoughts and dreams of what I wanted my wedding day to look like into Wedgewood Ocotillo. Natalia and Blayne were super helpful and made planning our perfect day much easier than expected. They were very quick to respond via email and phone calls and answer all our questions and Jayla was there to help us through the big day. We got married on 10/5/19 and our special day went on without any glitches due to the amazing staff. Everything looked perfect and the food was delicious! Our guests are still raving about it! We used several of the preferred vendors and couldn’t have made a better choice to do so! Big shout out to DJ Damien. He was awesome from start to finish! Very flexible and accommodating. He even helped my new husband surprise me with a special serenade during the ceremony. We are so pleased with choosing Wedgewood Ocotillo for our venue! I have to give some advise to anyone looking for the perfect venue for there wedding. Don't think twice. I recommend this place 100%. Natalia was very good at keeping us up to date and on our toe's in planning the wedding. And Blayne was with us every step of the way, coaching my wife and I throughout the entire ceremony. She was by our side calming us down, seating all the guests. She did all the running around finding people at the last minute. Keeping everything on time and everything coordinated. Even making last minute changes to make my wife happy.The food was outstanding and the staff treated us and our guest like royalty. These people are 100% professional and on target. They did all the hard work, and there customer service is something they take pride in. It's not just a beautiful place to have your wedding as much as it is them taking care of all the loose ends involved in the stress of having a wedding that came out perfect. We recently got married at Wedgewood Ocotillo and we couldn’t be happier with our venue choice! Natalia and Blayne made our wedding experience better than we could have imagined. They were so helpful, kind, and caring and it didn’t feel fake or forced. Their kindness and assistance, we felt, was super genuine and our wedding flowed and was perfect. They decorated, coordinated, and made the day so easy on us. I don’t have enough words to explain how appreciative and grateful we are to these two sweet ladies! We highly recommend everyone getting married to check out this venue.

They were always available to chat or answer our questions and the venue is beautiful! You get the best of both worlds with an outdoor ceremony and an amazing inside reception. Natalia and Blayne were great to work with and helped to ensure that all the details were planned and ready for our big day. On our wedding day, we didn’t have to worry about a thing because Wedgewood handled all of the setup and coordination with our photographer, videographer, officiant, and other vendors. My husband and I had such a positive experience working with Wedgewood, we would definitely recommend this venue, especially since most services are included in the package.

Our daughter’s wedding was held at the Ocotillo Golf Resort this July. One of the reasons we chose this venue is because of the beauty of the grounds (even in our hot summer), the wedding site, and the reception ballroom. The second reason was because they took the worry out of planning a wedding. We are a busy family and it was so helpful to know that Wedgewood Weddings had already arranged for the best vendors to take care of our wedding needs. We especially loved the DJ! From our first visit to the big day, we felt so taken care of. Calls were returned in a timely manner and all our questions were patiently answered. We chose Ocotillo for our wedding on February 17 and both of us and all the guests enjoyed this place. The staff is so welcome, friendly and helpful and made us happy from the time we contacted them via emails and phones to plan (other places that we had contacted prior to Ocotillo had really bad communication -- they slowly responded to our emails) to the time the wedding ended. The most impression that we had was their thoughtfulness and care to us: although 6 appetizers that we had chosen were Amercian food, they prepared several Asian food (dumpling, dim sum, etc.) (we and most of guests are Asian, by the way). The grounds are green and so beautiful. Would highly recommend this venue!

I had a two year engagement and selected Ocotillo Golf Resort well over a year before my wedding. My husband actually played golf at Ocotillo one day and told me we needed to go look at it. The drive into the resort and the grounds are beyond beautiful. The funny thing, he forgot we had a friend get married here two years prior. I remembered the place, but was trying to do something different. Well, we ended up at the venue and loved everything about it. I ended up having (3) different catering managers through my duration with my planning, they seem to move around often. Stephanie Paton came in December of 2013 and I was getting married February 15th, 2014. She did a great job picking up where things were left off, yes I was a little nervous. I was a very hands on bride though, being a professional interior designer took me down the road of designing tons of my details to the wedding. Ocotillo was great on placing the items I made... my rhinestone napkin ring holders, the menus, to the table number frames,candle votives, guest book with its sign, the candy table sign to my Mr and Mrs signs...and the flip flop arrangement...the team nailed the placements and did not complain once on having to set this all up. I had one slight issue with one of the appetizers, but Stephanie jumped on it and fixed it. This was probably my only fault to the day. Everything went off with a hitch and the staff was very pleasant to work with. They were there to get me anything I needed and made sure my day was amazing!!! I provided a duet plate of filet magnon with pecan & Dijon crusted chicken...with spinach risotto w/ mascarpone cheese and garlic mashed potatoes w/ veggies...my guest loved it and worth every penny, which I will say was not nearly as expensive as you think this would be. I provided a signature drink and did not have to pay extra for this, as long as you stay within your liquor package you can make it work!!! Bridal suite of a girls dream, a mirror for each girl and a separate space for the bride!!! Of course, my favorite was being able to walk on a hard surface for the ceremony and be surrounded by a cobble rock stone half wall, flowers, and green grass..beautiful!!! I truly recommend you visit Ocotillo Golf Resort, you will be taken away by the drive up to the resort and its breath taking grounds!!! LOVE!

Ocotillo was a beautiful and easy choice when looking for a reception venue. The staff was nice and really accommodating to my baseball themed event. I would have given them 5 stars, but there was a mishap with our menu during dinner. There was plenty of food, but main item were missing. The guests has no idea anything was wrong or missing, which was nice, and our coordinator at Ocotillo jumped right in and got a more-than-satisfying refund for us for their mistake. Overall the location is great, the food was amazing, the staff was helpful and the price was reasonable.

Overall, we had a fair experience with Ocotillo. The venue was absolutely beautiful but the service was on the lower end. We signed our contract over a year before the event and a week before the wedding, they tried to add/change the contract. We also had several issues with the coordinator. A few things that happened:\r--a week before the wedding the cooridnator tried to charge us a cake cutting fee although it was not included in the contract we had signed over a year prior (it was not included since we went with one of their preferred vendors)\r--two days before the wedding we recieved the final event order form which indicated that our table cloths were going to be green (although all prior paperwork indicated they were supposed to be white)\r--the day of the wedding the coordinator did a tour of the venue and brought the couple into the ballroom while we were decorating and even into the bridal suite while the bridesmaids were getting ready\r--at the rehearsal, the coordinator did not know who the groom was even though she had met him several times in person\r--also at the reheasal, the coordinator was incapable of coordinating...the minister was forced to step in to get everyone into their places\r--at the reception, the coordinator brought me photo release forms to sign so that she could put our photos on the website\r--when we went to do the cake cutting, there was no plate, fork or napkin for us to use so we had to wait for several minutes for the coordinator to bring that to us\r--a couple of hours into the reception, the coordinator came to us to say congratulations and goodbye...we never knew that she wasn't going to be there the whole time\rI would love to recommend Ocotillo Golf Resort for a wedding, however I would proceed with caution. I would make sure to have everything in writing and check everything they tell you against the contract that you sign! :)

I recently got married at Ocotillo Golf Resort. This is a wonderful place to get married. I had the steak and salmon options for dinner and the food was incredible. My wedding guests were pleased with the food, venue, and service. I served gelato for dessert which was a nice touch on a hot summer day! It was by far the best day of my life!

Let's forget for a moment how stunning the location is (think beautiful golf course and right on the water) and just discuss the amazing staff. Emily, the wedding coordinator, is a godsend! She did more for us than we could have ever imagined! She worked with the chef to give us a beautiful dinner well within our budget (even though that was lower than their normal dinner). She told us to simply bring any table decor, etc. to the rehearsal and she would set it all up for us. When the grass was slightly damp on the day of the wedding, she tracked down some color-coordinated flower petals to sprinkle down the aisle to make up for it. She was always available when we needed her and would make her schedule fit ours. You could not ask for a better coordinator! She would make this location totally worth it even if it wasn't beautiful, but it is, so you can't go wrong here!

Ocotillo Golf Resort was great for our spring wedding. We had about 120 people and that was just about perfect for the reception area. We used the upper lawn which had a great view for all. Mollie was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and supportive throughout our process with Ocotillo. We had a couple hiccups with preferred vendors but she was on top of it making sure everything was great. We had to change catering managers about 3/4 of the way through our preparation year, but this went fairly smoothly. I would definitely recommend Ocotillo to a future bride!
