Old Bethany Weddings and Events is a wedding venue based in Lorena, TX. This spacious barn combines elegance with rustic Southern charm. Peacefully situated on 100 acres of fields and oak groves, this light-filled barn is a beautiful space to celebrate love with those you care about. Its convenient location is ideal for any guests visiting from out of town. Just a few minutes from Interstate 35, Old Bethany Weddings and Events is right outside Waco, tucked between Lorena and Bruceville-Eddy. Owners Rachel and Luke Whyte dreamt for years of creating a beautiful wedding venue in Central Texas. Along with their friends Ben and Skylar Worley and Nate and Ali Sloan, they established the Old Bethany Weddings and Events in 2016. Rachel had previously worked as a wedding photographer, and professional attention to beauty is evident in this sophisticated space. The spacious 6,500-square-foot white barn nestles within a grove of oak trees. High ceilings and plentiful windows help flood the barn with natural light, and its elegant-yet-versatile interior allows you to personalize the space to meet your vision for your wedding day. The venue accommodates both ceremonies and receptions. With a range of ceremony locations, you can choose to say "I do" in the barn, out in the picturesque fields, or among the trees. Your guests can relax on the covered porch or dance the evening away under fairy lights on the lush lawn. The 3,600-square-foot assembly room and the venue's 350 chairs and 35 tables ensure plenty of space for all of your loved ones. The barn has everything you need for a beautiful wedding day, from get-ready rooms for you and your partner to a fully equipped prep kitchen and all modern amenities. Venue hire includes all-day access to the barn, allowing you to enjoy the celebrations from morning until midnight. The venue coordinator ensures that everything runs smoothly, and a security guard can be present for your peace of mind. Old Bethany Weddings and Events provides accommodation close to the venue, with various residences to suit your needs.

Old Bethany was so so wonderful for our wedding! The staff was so kind and helpful from the very start. As wedding day got closer I was constantly sending emails + asking for information and they were quick to respond. They were also very flexible when I needed to shift things around and I was so grateful! We were able to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in this space, which was so ideal! It's a very versatile venue in a beautiful space. Would 100% recommend Old Bethany to anyone getting married in the Waco area!! You won't find a better venue!!

We are so glad that we chose to go with Old Bethany as our wedding venue. During the planning portion, they were always quick to respond and so helpful. As we got closer to the wedding day, they communicated with us often and made sure to be prepared for the day of. On the wedding day, things were not set up and the floors hadn’t been cleaned due to the service that they use not being ready, but they went ABOVE & BEYOND making sure everything was ready for us and worked hard to get it ready while we were decorating and everything. I am so grateful for them and their hard work. This is the most beautiful wedding venue ever! I can’t wait to share photos from it!!! (Also, having a shower for the guys in their getting ready room is 100% a win!!)

As a wedding planner, I am able to see a lot of venues but nothing quite like this one! The amount of light that shines from those beautiful windows is just magnificent! The inside and outside are both just gorgeous and perfect for any wedding! My client’s jaws are always on the ground the first time they walk inside!

Old Bethany Venue is absolutely gorgeous! We had the ceremony outside under the oak tree and then the reception in the huge area inside. There is plenty of room for set up of vendors, bar, DJ, cake, dance floor etc. The bride and groom quarters are very spacious and set up well. From the first day we visited the staff has been helpful, giving advice and answering all of our questions. They helped to offer us the best prices like paying all up front and saved 10%. I would recommend using their wedding coordinator services to help the day of. We didn't and it made it hard to keep up with everything. We are very happy with our experience at Old Bethany and would highly recommend to anyone.

If you are looking at Old Bethany, you will NOT be disappointed with booking your wedding here. The venue is stunningly beautiful, the natural lighting is things dreams are made of, and you have three options for where to have a ceremony. The staff at OB made everything so seamless, and easy and my fiance/ I could not have had such a great day without them. The Day of Coordinator was so helpful, in addition to on top of her game and kept the ceremony/ reception running like a well-oiled machine. I cannot say enough positives about Old Bethany, and will recommend this to anyone who asks!!

My husband and I got married at Old Bethany on a Thursday evening this past summer. The entire staff was so kind and hospitable to us. They were there to help during the whole process leading up to the wedding and the day of. The building itself is gorgeous and provides lots of parking space, great restrooms and has amazing amenities. We couldn't have chosen a better venue.

We couldn't have asked for a better or more beautiful venue for our reception! We ran away and got married earlier in the year but needed a space large enough to hold a reception back home for family and friends. This venue has it all and our guest could not stop talking about how stunning the Old Bethany is. The owners are absolutely fabulous to work with and made the entire process much easier than I expected. If you are looking for a memorable place to hold your wedding or reception, you don't need to look any further!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at Old Bethany! It was the perfect price for us, with all the amenities we needed. Our guests couldn't stop saying how beautiful they thought the barn and grounds were! The patio was perfect for guests to take pictures, snack, and play yard games while we flipped the inside of the barn from the ceremony set-up to be reception ready. The staff were quick communicators and helpful in accommodating our different vendors, and making our dream wedding a reality. The location was perfect for us- not far from Austin (where we live), a little outside of Waco (where we went to school) and close to airports for guests coming from out of town. If we had to do it again, we would 100% get married at Old Bethany again!
