Lesley was very helpful with everything. This venue is beautiful and affordable. We booked the grounds and the ballroom and we had about 165 guests, so it was nice for them to spread out. Everyone had a great time!Be aware that for spring/summer time there are often annual or bi-monthly events (farmer's markets, festivals, etc.) taking place here, so book in advance and be prepared for your date to possibly not be available. We booked ours when we did because the weekend before was a farmer's market and the weekend after was the Lavender Festival.

Lesley was so easy to work with and helped to make our day so special! The courthouse is absolutely beautiful and I am so happy we had our wedding in such a historic place! It couldn't have went smoother!

Lesley Griffin runs the Old Blanco county courthouse, or the renting part anyways. She herself is fabulous. She's super nice and very understandable. The Courthouse has a very Victorian or old timey feel. There is plenty of parking. The only thing i did not like was the fact we only used the courthouse for a top of 20 minutes and we had to pay the full 600 for the entire day. However that was just a little flaw. We rented out the room, and we had about 100 people there. It can fit up to 200-250. Overall the experience was good, and everything fit well.For us to rent that room for a Saturday was 600.00 with a 250.00 deposit. Compared to other places it was a good bargain.

Leslie at the historic Blanco County Courthouse was awesome in helping plan the reception. The historic building was gorgeous - with a staircase any bride would want to be photographed on. The remake of the movie True Grit was done here - the building is just gorgeous.
