Old Daley on Crooked Lake was everything we were looking for! It was the perfect setting for our wedding. We really liked that we were able to do everything in a single location, yet the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception each had a separate, beautiful space. The staff was amazing to work with. Everyone was so gracious and friendly. Kate was our wedding coordinator and she was so easy to contact and work out our plans with. Kate had suggestions when we needed guidance and really helped shape our day into exactly what we wanted. Molly was our attendant for the night and was right there whenever we needed something. We received many compliments from our guests on the quantity and quality of food at the cocktail hour and reception. There are many great locations inside and outside for stunning photos. This was everything we dreamed of and I am so glad we picked Old Daley on Crooked Lake.

Was the perfect spot for our end of summer wedding! Stunning outdoor ceremony space right in front of the water and inside room in case of weather. They offer different packages that take care of everything for you (chairs, linens, decor, cake, etc.) Our wedding event planner Nick was AMAZING! He was with us the months leading up to our wedding going over different details and decisions. It was so nice to have him by our side on the day of our wedding as well. I can't recommend enough. We still get compliments months after our wedding on the food.

I don’t believe there are enough words to adequately describe how perfect our wedding was at the Old Daley on Saturday 01/13/24. From start to finish, the staff helped make the entire wedding planning process so much easier and alleviated so much of the stress that comes with planning a wedding. From setting up to taking down decorations, they were there every step of the way. Our entire day was absolutely perfect, the staff did not miss a beat, the food was perfection, and I just couldn’t have asked for a better venue to work with for our day. Special shout out to my day of coordinator, Kate Mace, for being absolutely phenomenal and so much more than a “day of” coordinator, Kate was always there to answer any question I had or provide insight on any scenario or idea brought to her from the very beginning of planning to the day of. Hannah, one of the attendants was so attentive and made sure that myself and my husband always had everything that we needed. Also special shout out to Nancy for being so helpful, so attentive and for being an incredible resource, springing into action when needed. 10/10! Five stars! We can not recommend this venue enough!!

Old Daley on Crooked Lake was the perfect location for us, and we knew it right away. We were looking for a lake view outdoor ceremony location with an indoor backup location that was equally as beautiful. Old Daley has everything! The only thing better than the property was the food!! And the only thing better than the food was the service. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful everything was and how good the food was. Nick, our wedding coordinator is an amazing guy who did so much for us. We consider him a friend now. The entire place was spotless on a Saturday only hours after a Friday wedding. Every little detail is considered by the staff and our wedding was perfect. Thank you Nick and staff!

I cannot recommend Old Daley on Crooked Lake enough. My fiancé and I ended up having a fairly short engagement and the team here helped to make sure that we had the most perfect day from the most minute detail to our overall theme even with the time crunch. Kate and the team worked with us to ensure that every detail was perfect, made sure that we could have the dream cocktail hour outside, and handled a few challenges the day of (like a broken sign that they were able to fix without me knowing until the next day)! It was a perfect day, at a beautiful venue, with incredible food and the most amazing team!!

Old Daley is the most BEAUTIFUL wedding venue in the area. We truly had the most amazing wedding day. The atmosphere, food, and staff are all phenomenal. Our wedding planner Kate, went above and beyond for us, and answered all of my crazy questions. She truly brought my vision to light. Our guests are still telling us how amazing everything was, and raving about the food. If anything went wrong, I didn’t and still don’t know about it. They do an amazing job from start to finish, and I would recommend them to anyone.

From the initial planning stages to the execution of our wedding, they were responsive, attentive, and incredibly helpful. Our guests are still raving about our wedding, and we owe a large part of that to The Old Daley on Crooked Lake. The venue perfectly balanced elegance with a touch of rustic charm, creating an enchanting atmosphere that left a lasting impression on everyone. The options for both indoor and outdoor ceremony sites was a true blessing, especially considering that it rained on our wedding day - but we never had to worry about the weather dampening the beauty of our celebration.The Old Daley on Crooked Lake was also very willing to accommodate dietary restrictions. They worked closely with us to set a custom menu that included delicious vegan and gluten-free options, ensuring that all of our guests had a memorable dining experience. Their flexibility and commitment to meeting our specific needs were greatly appreciated.We would absolutely recommend the Old Daley on Crooked Lake to any couple looking to have a memorable wedding day. Kate Mace was our coordinator and she was responsive and helpful throughout the process. I can't say enough great things about this vendor! They were very organized and made communication seamless. The food was amazing- and that's an understatement! All of our guests raved about the location, the beautiful rooms, the food and the ceremony space. They said it was the best venue they had ever been to! Not only that, but Nick, our coordinator, and the wedding attendant, Zoey, were phenomenal. The whole staff was approachable and welcoming, and went out of their way to help the entire night. Their decorating skill were also out of this world. Thank you so much for an amazing, unforgettable wedding for my husband and I!

I cannot recommend the Old Daley enough to anyone looking for a wedding venue in Upstate New York! From the moment we initially toured the venue, my husband and I knew we had to have our wedding there! The atmosphere is amazing and the building itself is a treasure filled with historic charm and class. Each of the rooms offer a different vibe and experience for your guests and the building and grounds are beautiful in every season. We personally had a winter wedding and the oversized stone fireplaces and warm lighting offered such a cozy and romantic vibe. I have to say, besides the fantastic lakefront location and the beauty of the building itself, the staff are what make this place incredible! They are fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure we had the perfect wedding day. Every staff member we came in contact with that day (waitstaff, bartenders, etc.) were on top of their game and provided a top of the line experience for our guests. We worked closely with our coordinator Kate Mace leading up to the wedding and she is nothing short of amazing. She is super organized and exceptionally kind and went out of her way to make sure we had an amazing wedding. She was there every step of the way in our planning process and was able to guide us on details and answer any/every question we had. Our guests are still raving about our wedding at the Old Daley, citing the food, service and location as 10/10. Needless to say, they far exceeded the vision I had for my wedding. If you are looking for an amazing venue that truly cares about their couples & guest experience, I highly recommend the Old Daley!

We can’t say enough about crooked lake! My husband and I really wanted to get married by a lake, but we wanted an indoor option in case of weather. We also really didn’t want our wedding to feel “cookie cutter.” Crooked Lake could not have been a better fit! We lived out of state and their amazing planner, Kate helped us plan a cross country wedding every step of the way. She was helpful, had great ideas and was always responsive. She really helped us customize the plan and packages to fit our needs and budget. She understood our vision perfectly.I had a lot of personal details that I wanted to incorporate into the day, and Kate did not miss a single one. The day of the wedding was stress free and relaxing. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. We loved that they do only one wedding per day, and that couples get to utilize all of the beautiful spaces in and outside the building. The food is incredible. The property is gorgeous… stunningly beautiful without being gaudy or over states. Our wedding day was perfect and we loved every minute of it. Six months later, family and friends are still talking about the wedding and raving about the food. Thank you, crooked lake for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

Having our wedding at the Crooked Lakehouse was a dream come true! It was honestly the only venue my husband and I both left after a tour and both fell so in love with. The beauty, the staff, the history…Our guests raved about it the day of and are still talking about how beautiful everything was. We loved the outdoor ceremony area and prayed the day would be nice enough to have our ceremony by the lake (which it was!), but we also really appreciated how beautiful the ceremony area is indoors in case the weather wasn’t great. I cannot say enough great things about how helpful Jan was in helping come up with a menu package for our day. She was incredibly patient in giving us different price packages and different a la carte options to keep our menu exciting. We were also fortunate enough to have Kate Mace as our coordinator and she is a HERO. She was incredibly organized, great at checking in with us through the process leading up to the wedding day, and so calming on the day of. We had a total of 7 kids in our wedding party (we know, we know…haha) but she rallied them together and made sure everything went so smooth. We had done all of the décor for our wedding ourselves to save money, and on the day of Kate made all of our visions come true placing the décor so perfectly in the reception area. The only thing that fell through the day of was that our cocktail hour musician (who was a steel drummer) did not show up…but honestly, we didn’t even notice because Kate saved the day and worked her magic to have steel drum music playing in the background. She is AMAZING. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to have our wedding day at this venue…We can’t imagine it being as perfect as it was anywhere else. We also LOVE that they are open for dining throughout the year too to just visit and reminisce anytime we want.

The wedding venue was beautiful and the staff were kind and helpful leading up to the event. I will be honest and say that the reception was disappointing. Not only was it hot, after I expressly asked for them to ensure it not be but the lighting was terrible. I asked for dim lighting, to be play off of the table candles and the twinkle lights and trying to find anyone to help me with this was near impossible. It killed the mood and was heartbreaking. I didn't want these bright white lights... washing every photo out. I even tried to play with the light switches to dim them but couldn't. Desert went unannounced (which could have been my own fault as a bride who wanted an unannounced cake cutting) and all of my guests had no idea where desert was or that it was even available. I tried finding staff to ask to announce it but no one could be found save for the kitchen staff...in the kitchen. I was terribly disappointed with my photographer and the music and could have really used some support in those areas. Overall, I wish I could do it again. I'd pick the Old Daley again and again but now I know what I need to be on top of as a Bride.

Having our wedding at Old Daley on Crooked Lake was a dream come true. We absolutely loved the all inclusive feel that made planning the big stuff an absolute breeze. Kate and the entire team at Crooked Lake were so supportive and responsive which made last minute changes easy to navigate. Overall we had the perfect ceremony by the water, and all of our guests still talk about how much they loved the venue and our food selections. A personal favorite feature was their massive dance floor that helped us keep the party going all night. Old Daley at Crooked Lake is truly the best and we would have our wedding there again in a heartbeat. Cheers!

We got married at Old Daley on 9.2.22. The weather and venue were absolutely amazing! Kyle and I shopped around for venues even before he proposed. And from the minute we stepped foot on the property- we knew this was the *one* for us. We knew we had time to look at other places, but we wanted this one. I always thought I’d be a Saratoga bride and get married where we live, but I am so happy that we chose Old Daley on Crooked Lake. We met with Jan, who then assigned Molly to us as our wedding planner/coordinator. She was absolutely wonderful!!! Answered all my questions and made us feel at ease. We hired grand central station band to play and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how good the food, band, and drinks were. It was beautiful and I wish I could relive the weekend all over again!! I am so sad it’s over ♥️ The steak and eggplant were two major hits!!!! 😊

I cannot say enough amazing things about this venue! From our first visit where they were completely ready for a wedding TWO DAYS AFTER MASSIVE FLOODING, to our special day this past week, the Old Daley team was a pleasure to work with. Our wedding coordinator, Kate was amazing and truly made everything less stressful. She was always quick to respond to my emails, and obviously knew how to run a wedding on the day of. I truly felt able to enjoy the entire day, not just the party because of this amazing team. Not to mention the million compliments about the venue itself. It was absolutely STUNNING. We had a lot of friends and family that traveled to be here, and all they could say was how beautiful the area was. If I had to do it all again… I would 100% choose Old Daley again.

My husband and I got married at Old Daley and the experience was great. Kate and the rest of the team made sure that everything was taken care of from decor to working with our other vendors. The food was delicious, the space is gorgeous and Kate even helped bustle my dress in the midst of all the craziness. Our family and friends were ranting and raving about how beautiful everything turned out. The only complaint we have was in regard to an older female staff member (unsure of her name) who yelled at our guests at the end of the evening when people were still dancing and enjoying themselves. She also had complaints about the groomsmen and made some other people feel uncomfortable. Let people enjoy themselves. Other than our experience with that staff member, we would choose Old Daley all over again. Thank you Kate. You’re amazing.

Old Daley on Crooked Lake was the PERFECT venue for our wedding! We just had our wedding on July 2nd and we are still in awe over the day. From the planning stages to the actual day, everything was seamless! We first worked with Jan to secure a date and some of the larger details! She was lovely and completely willing to answer any questions we had early on! As we moved closer to the day we got to work with planner Kate who was amazing! We had a scheduling conflict with our church which changed our photo time quite a bit at Crooked Lake and Kate was instrumental in calming our stresses by making sure we had access to the venue as early as we needed! She responded to all of my MANY questions promptly and professionally! Her main priority was that Andrew and I had a wonderful day! On the actual day, we were delighted to work with our bridal attendant Iris. She was fabulous! She was constantly making sure Andrew and I had everything we needed at all times! She replaced our drinks as they emptied, stood to offer us ice water through our hot outdoor photos, and checked on us periodically throughout the night! She was a delight. All of the staff was professional, polite, and smooth with everything! My guests cannot say enough about how much they enjoyed the food! It was delicious! I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Crooked Lake and everyone we worked with! Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for an amazing wedding day!

I didn’t have my wedding at Crooked Lake but my husband’s 50th birthday party instead. A three hour event in the afternoon on a Sunday in February in the Oak Room. They lit a fire in the fire place and little candles all over the place. We had their bistro table, a cake and the bar. I was so pleased with everything! Molly, our event planner, was thorough and easy to reach. I had requested a table for pictures of my husband as well as simple decorations that I provided as well as a table with a craft project to keep the kids busy, both of which were accommodated. The food was great and plentiful. The Oak Room is spacious for 50 and has its own ambience where extra decorations really aren’t needed. The bar tender and two individuals tending our party were pleasant and helpful. I have been to other gatherings at Crooked Lake over the years and have always loved it there. So many of our guests commented on how nice the event was. I would certainly recommend it !

We had our dream wedding❤️ We had the entire inn for the whole day. The event coordinators were EXTREMELY attentive and never left our sides (making sure we drank water, making sure we got to taste everyone of our hors d’oeuvres from cocktail hour, taking my bridal heels off, grabbing combs during the reception, flicking my veil for pictures). Kate, wedding planner, calmed every nerve that came up, helped the men with their pocket squares and ties, organized everything and made sure our family, friends and myself just enjoyed the day. Kate made sure every aspect of the wedding was delegated, thinking about when to cut the cake, it was handled, when it was time to throw the bouquet, it was handled. The food was amazing, we still go the Inn just for dinner because it’s just that fantastic! The decor was something out of a magazine, it took my breath away how Kate took our decor and our vision and made it 100x better. I honestly can’t say enough nice things about these people. If you are thinking about getting married in front of a beautiful lake, dancing the night away under gorgeous chandeliers and eating 5 star quality food, the Old Daley Inn is the place for you❤️

When my husband and I got engaged we immediately began looking at venues. Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake was the first place we went. We absolutely loved it. It was beautiful, classy, classic and rustic at the same time. We couldn’t have found our venue on the first try right? So, we visited 10 other venues! Every time we went to a new place, we kept just saying “but it’s not like Crooked Lake”. Finally after a marathon day of looking at 4 venues in a row, we pulled the trigger so to speak and booked Crooked Lake. We could not have made a better choice or decision. There is literally nothing bad or even sub par I can say about the venue and staff. We planned most of our wedding during the worst parts of the pandemic and we stressed over constant changing regulations. Crooked Lake was on top of everything. Our wedding coordinator Kate Mace was a true MVP! She knew whenever any change happened and she made every idea and dream become a reality! We were able to find the right package for our needs and then add À la carte for any specifics we wanted to make things right for us. The day before the wedding we did a rehearsal and Kate was there to help me run through everything! I can’t tell you how helpful that was. I have been in several weddings where the rehearsal fell completely to the bride and it was a mess and was confusing. Kate helped me so much and I felt so little stress in terms of making everything happen. Finally the big day came and on October 9 we got married!! Kate Mace along with my mom actually helped me into my wedding dress. I wanted to do a first look with my bridal party to take back a moment that was stolen by the pandemic and they made it happen! The staff was perfect and took care of everyone’s needs. The day was seamless. Our ceremony was on the grounds outside and couldn’t have gone more perfect! When people arrived they were treated with hot apple cider spiked and regular and a cider donut. After the ceremony we were greeted with champagne and the guests headed to the oak room for the cocktail hour. Everyone told us that our wedding had the best passed hors d’oeuvres they had ever had at a wedding!! For the reception we had an amazing time!! We had a large wedding party and really wanted to sit with everyone and not alone. Kate came up with a curved Tuscan table so we could sit with everyone, see everyone and still have the band on the stage like I wanted. The food was amazing and all of our guest loved it. Every tradition and event we wanted to happen went off without a hitch and everything we didn’t want, didn’t happen. At the end of the night we wanted to surprise our guest and again Kate helped us do this. She got everyone outside by the ceremony spot and helped them light sparklers. Our guests thought his was our big send off, but, they couldn’t have guessed that as soon as we ran though the line of sparklers, foreword started!! Our guests were so surprised and loved every moment!! What can I say, we ended with a bang!!! After the wedding I am not exaggerating when I say the the most common comments we received from our guest were “that was the best wedding I have ever been to!” And “it was perfect” Thank you so much for everything!!! ❤️

The Old Daley on Crooked Lake exceeded all my expectations! The space is absolutely beautiful and right on the lake. The bridal suites are out of this world! For the bride there is two separate spaces (one for hair and make up and one for lounging) which is so great for your make up and hair vendors to really be able to spread out. Everything was clean and well kept up. Food was SO good I am still getting compliments on our cocktail hour and dinners! We got to work with Kate for our planner and she is just THE BEST! Loved working with her and was so responsive. Everything was handled start to finish. You definitely do not have to worry about anything if you book at the Old Daley!

Old Daley on Crooked Lake was the first - and only - venue we visited. We couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else the minute we stepped inside and immediately booked a wedding date of April 18, 2020. Then, COVID hit. In March of 2020, we were forced to reschedule. We rescheduled to July 18, 2020, then September 11, 2020, and then finally, July 10, 2021. The process of rescheduling our wedding multiple times was seamless because of Jan, Kate and the rest of the Old Daley staff, who did everything they could to take the stress off our shoulders. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of. Old Daley brought our vision to life, and the food and drinks were delicious. Our friends and family are still talking about how beautiful the venue was & how much fun they had! I would recommend Old Daley to EVERYONE!

We had our wedding this July at Old Daley. From the beginning the staff was incredible and very responsive. Our wedding planner, Sarah, was truly amazing. The venue itself is beautiful as is the location. They worked with us to create some unique menu options and were very accommodating for guests with allergies. The food served at our wedding exceeded expectations. We got so many compliments on the food and how amazing the staff was to our guests. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. They have a beautiful Bridal Suite and Grooms room that made getting ready feel even more special. We would highly recommend Old Daley for any special events but especially weddings!

From the venue setting/decor to the staff, they are in my opinion the premiere wedding venue of the NY Capital District. Our event coordinator, Kate Mace, was outstanding to work with. Old Daley on Crooked Lake is a gorgeous venue and had all the amenities we were looking for, a beautiful waterfront ceremony space, and a beautiful interior for cocktail hour and the reception. The newly renovated groom and bridal suites (with a new salon room, amazing natural light) were a huge plus and great spaces to get ready in. Overall, the venue and food was all awesome, but we really wanted to commend our wedding coordinator at Old Daley, Kate Mace. We had to replan our September wedding day due to Covid, and she worked hard to make sure we could still get what we wanted out of our big day since we still wanted to get married on our original date. It was a stressful time for everyone, but having Kate on our side during the planning and replanning process is what we are thankful for. Thank you, Kate!

Old Daley on Crooked Lake is the best and only place you should consider for your wedding venue. My husband and I attended a formal at Old Daley when we were in college and we said then, “can you imagine getting married here?” so when we started planning our special day, we knew this was exactly where we wanted to get married. Our wedding was absolutely what dreams are made of! First off, it is GORGEOUS. I received so many compliments on how beautiful every aspect of this venue is and our pictures were beautiful. The whole venue gives off a super elegant feel with rustic touches. Kate was nothing short of AMAZING! She did everything she could to make sure we to had the wedding of our dreams even though it was a COVID wedding and so much had to change from what we originally planned. We went from a 200-person wedding to a 50-person wedding with social distancing and no dance floor and everyone at Old Daley went out of their way to make sure it was still the best day ever! I was able to enjoy every second of the day; I didn’t have to worry about a single detail because Kate and everyone else took care of everything and it was perfect!! Another great thing I will mention is the food. I had so many guests saying it was hands down the best wedding meal they’d ever had! Old Daley knows what they are doing! They are professionals. I could say so many more things, but the bottom line, choose Old Daley, you will be SO happy you did.

If you are reading this review, you are likely a newlywed trying to make important decisions about where to have your wedding. I hope this review helps convince you that Old Daley on Crooked Lake is the right choice for you, and why. There are three overarching reasons why our wedding was truly perfect and why I recommend this venue to anyone, without reservations. First, the venue itself is gorgeous. Regardless of the time of year (we had a winter wedding) the setting is elegant without being overly formal. The natural beauty of the building lends an atmosphere of history and elegance that can suit any wedding budget, style or preference. Our wedding was on the smaller side (about 90 people) and we wanted to have it be fairly relaxed. We got married in the great room in front of the fireplace. The candles on/in the fireplace and the lanterns lining the aisle were gorgeous and made for romantic, beautiful lighting. We had cocktail hour and dinner stations in the Oak Room. We opted for no assigned seating, with exception of one table for family and one for me and my wife. Our guests were able to move around and mingle with each other, sit by the fireplace, etc. After dinner we had dancing and dessert in the Great Room – this allowed guests to move back and forth between the two rooms depending on their preference. Secondly, the food was outstanding. Everything served was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Everyone has been to a wedding where the food feels like mass-produced cafeteria food and this is the exact opposite. Everything was delicious and there was ample food and choices to please all our guests. We had a few guests with dietary restrictions and one severe allergy and the venue staff did an excellent job being responsive to all of the dietary needs. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, Kate Mace (our wedding coordinator) and her team were incredible to work with. Leading up to the wedding our friends kept asking us if we were stressed out and the answer was always a resounding, “no!” Kate is outstanding at her job, she is professional, responsive, resourceful, detail-oriented, a great communicator and just all-around nice person who is both easy and fun to work with. There was one minor issue that came up on the day of the wedding (external to the venue); Kate and her team handled with poise, grace, tact and clearly with the goal to ensure that the brides didn’t have any stress or decisions to have to make the day of our wedding. Planning and having wedding should be joyful and fun – it was because of Kate that we had that exact experience. I’ll add that my wife and I are a same-gender couple - as a gay couple we were welcomed, valued and celebrated by the team at Old Daley on Crooked Lake. (This was not true at all the venues we visited). My concern about the location being a little outside of the Capital District was solved by hiring a shuttle to/from a hotel in East Greenbush. Many of our local guests opted to stay at the hotel an take advantage of the shuttle. Our wedding day was perfect for two reasons: 1) we married the right person and 2) because we opted to do so at Old Daley on Crooked Lake.

The Crooked Lake house is stunningly beautiful but that isn't even the half of it as to why we are so unbelievably thankful we decided to have our wedding at Old Daley on Crooked Lake. The people! Everyone at Old Daley was so unbelievably amazing throughout the entire process. From meeting with Jan in the very beginning of the process through all my questions during planning with Sarah and the entire staff the day of our wedding. I can't possibly thank them all enough! Sarah was amazing throughout the entire planning process. She was always available and answered all my questions so quickly. The entire staff not only worked so hard to make our wedding day beautiful and perfect but to go above and beyond to ensure not only us but all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves. On such a big day I just can't stress enough how amazing it was to have so many people working so hard to make the day everything we had dreamed of and more, I didn't have to worry or stress about a thing because these people are true pros. Even with our very last minute change to have the ceremony onsite they were not only flexible but so incredibly helpful in helping me plan/make the changes that needed to happen. The beauty of Crooked Lake speaks for itself, but the true magic is in the staff at Old Daley, they are the ones who made our wedding so much more than we ever could have imagined.

I can’t say enough about the staff and overall experience at old Daley. From the first moment we set foot in the place as a visitor to the last moments we stepped out as a married couple. Not only was everyone helpful, friendly,& supportive but they provided us with the most beautiful wedding a girl could dream off. Our event coordinator, Kate Mace, was amazing. She helped incorporate all of the personal details we wanted along with the classic and experienced touch only they could provide to fill in the gaps. She worked her magic to get McDonald’s chicken nuggets for our cocktail hour, my all time favorite food. Besides the nuggets though, their food was also tasty & amazing. It’s been a month since our day & we still continue to hear great feedback form our guests, compliments about the whole day as well as how good the food was. The beautiful lakeside ceremony spot, historic and classy reception space, & romantic ambiance... just overall a wonderful, dream worthy experience & I would recommend them in a heart beat. We knew from the moment we started planning our wedding that we NEEDED to have it at Crooked Lake. It was a very special venue to the both of us, from the start of our relationship, and we could not wait to celebrate the start of our life together anywhere but there. There's something so special and unique about Crooked Lake-the views, the venue, the staff..It was an absolute dream come true. Sarah was outstanding. There was not one step along the way that we were left without guidance or support. She was personable, reassuring, attentive to detail, answered one million messages/calls, and was just a great friend. We wanted her to stay to enjoy the rest of our night with us all! Thank you so so much for all you did for us, you truly helped us plan and execute our dream wedding!! Iris was super attentive the entire night. There was not one moment that my plate was empty or glass was not full (including my family and friends). She was on it! TJ and the kitchen staff were amazing! Not one complaint on the delicious food and service! Our bartenders kept the party going and drinks full the entire evening! We cannot thank Marty, Jimmy and Gene enough for having us, and celebrating with us! There’s not enough time to say all I have to say about this space! So I’ll try to sum it up... WOW. From the day we booked with Janice, to meeting with our event planner Sarah, to the day of with our wedding attendant Iris.. Everyone was so professional but down to earth, prompt, helpful and just so great to work with. The food was absolutely incredible. When you think venue food you don’t have high expectations... But the Old Daley blew it out of the water. And the space is absolutely gorgeous. From inside to outside, you can’t go wrong with ceremony locations and pictures. The team made my vision come true and went beyond my expectations without even having to direct them. Out of the entire day we got the most compliments on the food and the location! We can’t thank the old Daley enough for all they did on our special day! And while the price might seem high at first, it includes more than most venues all the way from the food, the alcohol, the cake, the planner, etc. So don’t look any further for a venue location, because this is it!

Words cannot accurately describe how much we loved getting married at Crooked Lake! We felt right at home there from our very first meeting and knew this is where we had to be married. Being that our wedding was multicultural, it was important to us that we find a venue where the staff was comfortable and confident in delivering all of the different things we needed to make our wedding day perfect and let me say that they did not disappoint! As soon as you set your wedding date, you have an assigned wedding planner who reaches out to you throughout the planning process and is there every step of the way. We were lucky enough to have Sarah as our wedding planner and I seriously cannot say enough amazing things about her! Every time I felt like I had a crazy question or request, she was right there with the answer and never made us feel like the request was as ridiculous as we knew it was ;) Our wedding day went flawlessly, even with some last minute changes, the entire staff at Old Daley is incredible. They take everything in stride and we could tell how important it was to them that our wedding day be perfect. If you're looking to get married in the area, look no further than Old Daley on Crooked Lake - it was the best decision we could have made!

My husband and I are so thankful we chose Old Daley for our wedding. Kate was our wedding planner and she did an amazing job helping us figure out everything leading up to the big day. She would answer any of my texts asking random questions very quickly and was very helpful. We dropped off a bunch of framed pictures and other decorations the night before and Kate went through all of it and set it up beautifully for us, finding a spot for everything we brought (although the hall is so well decorated itself, so you really don't need to bring much extra if you don't want to). The actual day of was nothing short of perfect. The room upstairs to get ready in was so nice and convenient and had plenty of room for myself, my mom and 6 bridesmaids to get hair and makeup done. We did a food and beverage package while getting ready so we had champagne and lunch brought up to our room at whatever time we wanted. Our plan was to get married outside by the beautiful lake, and it rained early in the afternoon that day and there was a chance of more rain as it got closer to the ceremony. I kept saying I was worried about the weather, and Kate kept reassuring me that everything would work out and that there was nothing to worry about. Old Daley was then able to set up the ceremony inside and outside for us so that we could wait until the last possible minute before the decision was made to move inside. Ultimately the rain cleared before the ceremony, so they dried the chairs off and we were able to have the ceremony we so wanted outside. There are so many great spots outside around the venue to take pictures and the inside is so beautiful too. All the food was amazing and served in a timely manner, and no one ever waited long at the bar to get a drink. All the other formalities of the night were planned and timed out perfectly, leaving us with plenty of time after all that to just dance and have fun with our guests. I would 100% recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in this area.

Where do I begin? This venue was everything my husband and I could have hoped for. From start to finish, we knew we didn’t need to worry about a thing. The entire staff was so professional, organized, and friendly. Our wedding coordinator, Kate, truly made us feel like family. She answered all my late night texts, decorated the entire venue with us, and even set up our wedding favor station. I could write a novel about my love and appreciation for her. She worked with us all year to turn our wedding dream into a reality. When we walked into the Old Daley on the day of our wedding, we truly felt like we stepped into a real life fairy tale. I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful lake side setting for our wedding ceremony. The entire experience was beyond perfect and I cannot praise the Old Daley enough. My husband and I cannot wait to go back to The Old Daley for many years to come to relive our special day.

I could not be happier that we chose Crooked Lake House for our wedding venue. It was perfect in every way. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful (read: overabundance of decorations not necessary), we were lucky to have a nice day so were able to use both the outdoor and indoor space, there was plenty of room for our 140 person wedding, the food was DELICIOUS, and the best part was that we didn't have to worry about any of the details on our wedding day because we knew they were being taken care of. It was amazing. Kate was our event planner and did such a good job of helping us to realize our vision and making it all happen. On the day itself, Shannon was our day-of assistant and did such a good job making sure my husband and I were taken care of (drink running low? Suddenly Shannon was there to see if we wanted another. Time to cut the cake? They let us know so we didn't have to keep track of the time). They were also extremely flexible with all of our requests (such as allowing my mom's homemade chocolate chip cookies on our dessert table), which was so nice and made the process really easy. We dropped all of our decorations off the day before and Kate and her team set it all up beautifully for our big day. I'm so so so so glad we chose this venue and would recommend it to anyone looking to get married in the Albany area.

We had our wedding at Old Daley on Crooked Lake and were blown away by the overall experience. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of atmosphere, scenery, food and overall experience. From the moment we walked in to tour the venue, my husband and I both knew this is where we wanted to celebrate our wedding day. This venue has so much charm and character and the staff make you feel like family from day one. Kate was nothing but helpful every step of the way. Kate was so easy going and so on top of everything during our entire planning process, I was blown away. Kate coordinated with all of our vendors the day of the wedding, that I truly did not have to worry about a single thing. She has this calming presence about her that made the whole process extremely enjoyable (just the energy that every bride needs around her on their wedding day!). I cannot thank and praise Kate enough. As a wedding venue we cannot fault anything. The ceremony on the lake was beyond our expectations. The staff made the transition from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception seem so effortless. With almost 200 guests I was nervous it may be a little hectic, but the staff made it absolutely seamless. And the food was out of this world!!! All of our guests are still telling us about how delicious everything was. From the cocktail hour, to the main course, to the endless mouthwatering desserts, everything was beyond perfect. The venue played a huge part in the success of our wedding weekend and the amount of our guests who are still talking about our venue is testament to that.My husband and I cannot wait to go back to Crooked Lake for many years to come to relive the most magical day. The Old Daley on Crooked Lake was the perfect wedding venue. My husband and I are so happy that we chose the Old Daley for our venue. Our wedding coordinator, Sarah, went above and beyond to make all our wedding visions a reality. Sarah had every bump in the road turn into smooth sailing. Funny Story: I had ordered a surprise ice cream cake for my husband (he doesn't like cake) to be served when we would cut the cake. During the day/night itself, I did not see any imperfections to our timeline. However, afterwards, Sarah told me that the freezer had frozen over and she and other staff needed to use a crowbar to pry open the freezer and get the cake out. If she had never said anything, we would have never known! She handled all hurdles with a breeze!We were so impressed and would highly recommend her and the venue to anyone!

I got to have the picture perfect wedding of my dreams thanks to Kate and the team at Old Daley. The venue is stunning, the food is amazing, and no detail is spared in matching your wedding vision. Kate answered every email and frantic text and walked us through the whole process of planning a wedding. She made us feel so at ease and took care of everything on the day of the wedding. She coordinated with all of our vendors so I could turn off my phone and just be the bride! They have a giant dance floor- perfect for a party!! We had 175 guests but they can easily accommodate more. Everyone keeps telling us how much they loved the venue and the food!!

It downpoured on our wedding day, and I still couldn't have been happier. The whole staff was quick and efficient, but also incredibly friendly. We didn't have to worry about anything on our day. The food was also delicious! We're almost a year from our wedding date and our guests still talk about it, and about how incredible the venue was!

We cannot say enough about how much we loved our wedding venue. Everything about it was spectacular. Every room had a unique feature about it which made it special, and the outside was gorgeous – especially during the winter time with snow on the ground. The staff, especially our wedding planner, Sarah, were excellent from start to finish. Sarah worked hard with us in the months and weeks leading up to our wedding to make sure it was everything we wanted it to be. She was able to accommodate every request and took it in stride. She made sure that from the moment we arrived to the moment we left that we were having a good time. Her assistant, Andrew, was a huge asset the day of. He was always there to provide you anything you wanted, while attending to other guests as well. All of our guests loved the food and the deserts (we had waffles instead of a cake) were a huge hit. All around a wonderful place to have a wedding.

I don’t even know where to begin.. from the moment we walked in the door the very first time my fiancé (now husband) and I felt magic, we had only made it through the front door when we looked at eachother and said “this is it”. We then took a tour and attended the group tasting which sealed the deal for us.Our wedding coordinator was Kate who was truly amazing! Any annoying question I had was answered promptly and politely, anything I was unable to decide she was able to give me her professional opinion to lead me to my decision, every detail was worked out and explained to me, there were no hidden surprises and nothing for me to wonder or figure out on my own. Kate and the rest of the staff were better than we ever imagined, very kind, helpful, professional, knowledgeable and accommodating to name a few.The venue itself is EXACTLY what we envisioned for our day.. cozy, homey, rustic, elegant, different than your typical venue, PERFECT. The food was amazing, the dessert was amazing and beautifully setup. Nothing was left to chance, everything was well thought out and flowed so nicely together. Our guests don’t stop raving about our wedding (and we dragged them from Jersey/Westchester 2-3 hours away)As cliché as is sounds we literally had the BEST night of our lives and would not have changed a single thing. We are forever grateful for the memories we will have for the rest of our lives thanks to Kate, Old Daley, and the rest of the staff!! So even if you have a long distance to travel, take it from the Jersey girl, IT’S WORTH IT! :)

When me and my husband first saw pictures of Old Daley on Crooked Lake we knew we needed to get married there! We live in Virginia so we were not able to get there to see it right away and we booked it anyway. We were not disappointed. We could not have picked a better venue for our special day. The staff here was amazing and they were always there to help with anything we needed. Sarah Tyrell was our coordinator and she went above and beyond every step of the way to make sure our wedding day went perfectly. From all the planning and questions for the months leading up to the wedding, to setting up all of the decorations for the ceremony and reception, she did a great job. She helped to keep the wedding party organized and made sure everything went just as it was supposed to. We had originally planned to have the ceremony outside but due to the weather we had to move the ceremony indoors last minute. Sarah and the rest of the staff were great about moving everything indoors and my husband and I could not be happier about how beautiful and perfect the inside ceremony turned out. One of the many great things about this venue is the ability to have either an indoor or outdoor ceremony. Both areas are incredibly beautiful.All of our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful and perfect our wedding day was and it was in large part to the staff at this venue, as well as the natural beauty of the venue itself. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wedding/reception venue. Let them help make your day as amazing and absolutely perfect as ours was.

Sarah was assigned to our wedding and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to help through this stressful process. Not only is the entire team helpful but there venue is absolutely stunning. There’s so much room and you are able to really decorate and have anything you want. There food is top notch-we had a sushi bar with passed apps for cocktail and had a variety of dinner options. The staff at Old Daley truly knows what they are doing! Kate Mace was our planner and she guided my husband and I throughout the entire process and was always available to answer any question we had! The day of the weddin,g everyone at ODI made me feel extremely calm and was always around to help with whatever we needed. Everyone was very attentive and helped move things along to ensure we weren't late or missing anything.Our ceremony was held inside since it was a cold and rainy day - but the lovely staffed helped give everyone a warm welcome and it was a wonderful and positive day.The food was absolutely out of this world! I knew once we went to the tasting that I did not have to worry about ANY of the food despite not having a chance to try everything we chose for our menu. You can rest assured that anything you choose will be delicious. I received so many compliments about the food the day of the wedding from the appetizers (holy sushi!) to the main course - oh and how could I forget the dessert display! Everyone left VERY FULL! Tip: couples - you can have a sampling of all your dinners options on one plate which is what we did since we couldn't decide on meals! It was great!The next day, it was extremely easy to pick up everything we had left at ODI as well. Even my phone charger that I had hidden away was neatly picked up and put with all of our decor - I was very impressed! Thank you ODI for helping us have our dream wedding!

This is a beautiful venue and my husband and I loved every minute of our day here. We had our ceremony outdoor on the shore of the lake as we lucked out with a perfectly clear, 80 degree day. Had it rained, the indoor ceremony option in front of the fireplace would have provided a wonderful backup option. This was actually an important feature as many venues' backup plans for rain are less than desirable. The service here is outstanding. You and your guests will feel completely taken care of for the entire day. The bridal party got ready at the venue and Old Daley has a really nice bridal suite setup. It is great for pre-wedding pictures as well. The food is excellent and my husband and I are picky. I will say, we were a little worried after the tasting in the winter as we did not think the food was as good as we had heard from other people, however, at our actual wedding, it was much better and we really enjoyed it as did our guests. The photo opportunities at this venue are endless and we took advantage (try and get some evening photos inside and outside if you can). I found the staff to be incredibly helpful in the months leading up to the wedding as well. They were accommodating with some of the changes that we wanted for various things. The only minor complaint I can think of is that the amount of food at the cocktail hour was a little less than it should have been and items did not get refilled as guests finished things. It was not sparse by any means but for the cost of this venue, that should not be a concern. Overall, this place was perfect and we loved our wedding as did all of our guests.!

We had our ceremony and reception at Old Daley on Crooked Lake on 9/2/18 and could not recommend it enough! We were looking for a cozy, intimate venue that was equally beautiful indoors and out and boy did we find it with Old Daley on Crooked Lake! A few things we loved:1. The atmosphere --- comfortable and classy. We loved that you had the whole place to yourself. The character and charm made it so only minimal extra decorations were necessary. The lawn and lakeside ceremony location is also perfect if you're lucky enough to have the weather cooperate. 2. The staff --- Kate was our coordinator and she was absolutely wonderful! She was happy to answer all of my emails, texts and calls with incessant questions. She worked with us on all of our details and helped make our day of perfect. In addition to Kate, working with Janice to book our date was painless and the staff on our big day made sure we had absolutely anything we needed. 3. The food --- Old Daley Catering is known in the area for good reason. They really put their heart into their food and do a great job catering to different tastes. My husband and I don't eat meat so Kate worked with the chef to give us some good veggie options to build into our menu. The guests commented on how delicious everything was.Thank you, Kate and Old Daley on Crooked Lake!

I had my wedding at Crooked Lake in September 2018 and it was the most amazing day. Kate was our coordinator and she was just the best to work with from beginning to end. She was very responsive, whether it was via email or text, and made everything happen the day of. I didn't have to worry about one single thing! The venue itself is just the most gorgeous place. We got married right by the lake, but they also have a beautiful room inside to have your ceremony. One of the main reasons we chose Crooked Lake is because they only do one wedding a day, so you are the only party there. The food is amazing, the staff is amazing, and I couldn't be happier with our experience.

Never would I have imagined that the first place we looked at for a wedding venue would be the one and only place we would need to look but Old Daley on Crooked Lake is just that breathtaking. Our initial meeting and tour was with Janice, she was friendly, easy going, and has a comforting presence. We walked away from our tour knowing this was the place we were going to get married. We booked two days after our initial meeting and that is when the planning process begun. The team at crooked lake were always friendly and prompt in their responses. We attended a group tasting one year after booking, the food was amazing and choosing a menu was only difficult because everything was just SO good. The tasting is the first chance my husband and I had to meet our wedding planner Kate Mace. People like Kate are rare and I could not have asked for a better person to help make our wedding day perfect because it was just that, simply perfect. Kate always responded promptly to emails, texts, and phone calls. Kate listened to each idea and was able to make it come to life, she eased every concern, and allowed us to just enjoy our day. If there was anything that went wrong the day of, I didn't know because everything ran smoothly and it was truly a dream from start to finish. Kate and her assistant Gina went above and beyond the day of. Kate got eye lash glue and fixed my brother in laws wheelchair to name a few ways she saved the day. All of my guests continue to compliment how beautiful the venue was, how good the food was (and how big the portions), and how professional the staff was. Kate and the team at crooked lake exceeded expectations the day of and I highly recommend you choose them for your event!!

Our planner Kate Mace, was absolutely perfect! Our wedding day went without a one single issue and she made sure she did EVERYTHING to ensure our party was awesome! From the cocktail hour all the way until we packed our bags, we couldn’t of asked for anything more. The venue is breathtaking and absolutely gorgeous. The views, the Oak Room the food and desserts...absolutely amazing! Our bridal assistants Kathy and Olivia were fantastic and went above and beyond! Overall experience we were extremely happy about our wedding, from planning stages to the end of the night nothing more could of been done. Old Daley was the absolute best venue for our wedding! We loved it from the first tour and knew it would be ideal for our friends and family. The whole team is so thoughtful and attentive but Sarah was the real MVP she thinks of absolutely everything and takes away any and all stresses while you’re planning the wedding. She answers every question, and knows the job inside and out so that each ceremony is exactly what the couple wants. I can guarantee you will not be stressed in any way on your special day because the entire staff goes above and beyond to ensure everything is done and perfect. They’re so generous and make you feel like a part of their family every time you walk in the door. The venue is also breathtaking no matter what time of year you go. There’s so much space so your guests do not feel crowded at any point. You need very little decorations because each room is breathtaking and our guests could not stop complimenting everything. The food is AMAZING and staff ensures that the bride and groom get to enjoy all the food they want that day! I’d choose Old Daley every time and I can promise you won’t be disappointed!

I just wanted to take the time to let you know how amazing our daughter’s wedding was. She chose your venue because of the view for an outdoor ceremony. My husband and I agreed on the location because of your “plan B.” Although we were all disappointed with the worst weather of the summer that day (our hotel had to evacuate bec it was struck with lightening lol), your room was set up and looked beautiful/elegant. The food lived up to your reputation for sure. My only “complaint” was that I couldn’t find my favorite meatballs tucked away in the corner because we had 174 people and some mingled in front of that station. Lol Everyone was so impressed with your venue (it’s so beautiful!!), the food, and your staff!! I can’t tell you how much we loved and valued Kate. She did an amazing job dealing with all of our concerns and questions up to the very last moment. She was not only professional, but she had a way of making us feel comfortable, an ease you can’t describe. We were having so much fun, nobody got emotional until we started to walk down the isle. My daughter lost it just before she left the back hideaway area and she said Kate teared up too! It’s just an example of her compassion and dedication to the people she works with. She really was outstanding. I also heard from many how great your servers were: efficient, polite and friendly! We recommend the Old Daley to everyone!!!! The Old Daley on Crooked Lake made our wedding dreams a reality! We knew the moment our tour of the venue ended that this was the perfect place for our wedding! It is a truly stunning venue with different options for a ceremony space (inside and outside). We were fortunate enough to have our ceremony outside on a gorgeous summer day. The ballroom is stunning with hardwood floors and very large windows. It's worth noting that the ballroom is very large. We had a wedding of 80 guests total but the ballroom was set up so perfectly, and it did not feel empty whatsoever. Our wedding planner that came with the package was Kate Mace and we wouldn't have chosen someone else if we got the chance. Kate is amazing at what she does and has such a down-to-earth personality that suited us so well. She always promptly responded to text messages and emails, and helped our vision of the venue come to life. Planning was such a breeze the entire time thanks to Kate. On the day of our wedding everyt last thing went seamlessly. Kate and the other staff were so attentive to us and guests. Our guests are still talking about who delicious all the food was, how smoothly everything went, and beauty of the venue. The Old Daley on Crooked Lake will not disappoint!

We had such an amazing experience at Crooked Lake! The staff was so professional and accommodating! They worked so hard to make our day so perfect. The food was incredible and drinks were delicious!! There was always staff (Kathy and Sarah) going above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had food and drinks ALL night. We wanted an outside ceremony, but the weather was off and on raining all day long. They were so amazing they set up the ceremony both inside and out. Ultimately we ended up inside and we couldn’t have been happier with it! It was beautiful and cozy and the room was filled with so much love. This is absolutely the most amazing venue to have your wedding at. Although we had the most perfect day weatherwise and were able to have our ceremony outside next to the lake then our cocktail hour and reception indoors, it would of still been beautiful had we had our ceremony indoors. The staff are extremely helpful and so caring. I did not have to worry about one thing on the actual day. Leading up to our big day, they were very organized with when our payments were exactly due as stated in our well thought out contract. We worked with Sarah who was GREAT! She took care of everything in terms of decorating the entire venue for us and brought our whole vision alive. The other staff there were also great with our guests and making everyone feel so special. Janice and her husband truly know how to make a couple have an amazing wedding day!

From the planning stages, to food tasting and cake tasting, to decor and last minute emails, and to every transition during wedding day, all was coordinated with care. Sarah was our planner and has the most positive and perfectly suited personality for this line of work! What I appreciated most was how organized she and the team were.From a bride who's wedding was on a cold mid-November day, Old Daley on Crooked Lake was the perfect setting. My father was blown away by how warm and inviting the venue was, despite the freezing temperature outside. And the food was absolutely exceptional. The kitchen went above and beyond to accommodate dietary restrictions and food allergies among a number of our guests. I am so very appreciative and would recommend this venue to every couple!

WOW!!! Old Daley is a must for a wedding venue!! From the moment we walked in, both Matt and I knew we had to have our wedding here. The romantic, rustic - chic atmosphere is perfect for any occasion especially a wedding. When we met with Janice, she had answered all our questions prior to me even asking them. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable which made picking a venue easy. Though out the whole wedding planning our wedding planner Elise was absolutely wonderful.She was quick to respond to my eight million emails and was able to accommodate our needs. Elise is extremely talented and has a sharp eye for detail.She was extremely helpful when reviewing linens. Who knew how challenging it could be to find the perfect shade and fabric for table linens?! Elise was also helpful with answering my invitation questions and pairing side dishes with our main course. Though All the food from Old Daley is Delicious!On the day of our wedding, it was stress free and very enjoyable. The staff at old Daley are extremely friendly and very helpful. Having Elise as our wedding planner was a blessing. We had no idea what to do and a huge thank you to her for guiding us and keeping us on track. Everything went extremely smooth for our ceremony and reception. We had an outdoor ceremony on the lake, which was breath taking. Words can't express how grateful we are for everything Old Daley has done and provided us. Everything was timed so well that we even had time to enjoy cocktail hour with our guests.one major bonus that many people don't think about during their busy wedding day is making sure you have something to eat. After our ceremony and excitement our wedding planners assistant made sure we had something to eat and drink the rest of the night.Old Daley is out of this world and we are extremely happy that we were married at such a beautiful location.

I cannot say enough about how amazing it is to have a wedding at the Crooked Lake House. From beginning to end, we felt at ease and were confident it was going to be a great night. Many of our guests had never attended a wedding at CLH. It was so fun hearing about how wonderful everything was from the scenery, both inside and outside, to the food. Our wedding planner Elise was sure that everything went according to plan, even when our bus was not returning for quite some time the night of the rehearsal!! If you want amazing food (including steaks that were cooked medium rare for a 200 person wedding), a knowledgeable and friendly staff (from owners, to event planners, to wedding day employees), beautiful scenery (the lake, the architecture of the building- inside and out), and history- this is the place. We could not have chosen a better place to have a wedding. It was truly magical!

The minute I walked into Old Daley on Crooked Lake I knew it was the place for our wedding celebration. There is so much to love about this venue. Each room has a different feel that is elegant and relaxed. From the 1940s styled dark wood bar, to the french chateau great room, the outdoors patio overlooking the lake, to the light and airy ballroom…this location consistently took my breath away. I had multiple guests come up to me saying how each step of the reception was better then the next. They loved the set up, the food, the staff and the views. It could not have been more perfect.The staff at Old Daley on Crooked Lake are fantastic. They are responsive, polite and treat you like family. I worked specifically with Elise Testo as my wedding coordinator. Elise put me at ease with my requests and provided helpful suggestions when I needed them. Everything I requested was executed more beautifully than I could have imagined. When I walked into the venue before cocktail hour, my jaw dropped. She and her staff NAILED IT! The venue was absolutely magical. This venue has may packages you can choose from, but they also let you use your imagination and creativity to create a day that is customized to you. I couldn't have been more pleased with Crooked Lake and Elise. Old Daley on Crooked Lake and Elise,Thank you for giving us such a wonderful evening at your venue!! Where do I even begin! Old Daley on Crooked Lake is the most amazing place ever. We had the ceremony outside and it was amazingly beautiful. Immediately following the ceremony was cocktail hour, but since we did not do First Look we spent the hour doing photos outside. The entire time, they brought us champagne, drinks from the bar and hors d'oeuvres. My planner Elise was incredible. She made everything so easy for us throughout the entire planning process. She let us customize our food choices in our package and let us add certain beers to the open bar list. They even set up all of our décor and centerpieces for us on the wedding day -- I didn't have to lift a finger! All of the staff were incredible and very attentive. The food was phenomenal and everyone left FULL! When I came back the next morning to grab the centerpieces and deco, they gave us the rest of our wedding cake wrapped up and trays of leftover desserts! Every time I told someone where I was getting married, they raved about Crooked Lake House. Now I can be the one to rave about it! It's worth every penny!!

Our experience with Old Daley on Crooked Lake was perfect from beginning to end!!! Janice Keary was so helpful during the touring and booking process. Elise Testo, our wedding coordinator, did everything from answer countless emails and phone calls, to meeting with us multiple times, to coordinating the entire rehearsal and wedding day. She was so organized, efficient, and helpful for the entire 18 months of planning! Andrew, our maitre d', spent the entire wedding day catering to our every need. The staff bent over backwards for us during the entire process, and the venue itself was gorgeous! Marrying my best friend was wonderful, and I couldn't have imagined a more perfect setting, staff, and experience. I cannot say enough good things about the Crooked Lake House. Our guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to!!

Kyla was our planner and she was so responsive and on top of everything. When the big day came, we weren't worried about a thing. The food is great and was complimented by all of our guests. GET THE FIREWORKS! It was the highlight of our wedding and what made it memorable for everyone. I cannot recommend this venue more.

This venue is the perfect balance between Adirondack lake house and elegant wedding hall, that's close enough to the city to accommodate out-of-town guests. Furthermore, its has two on-site ceremony spaces that alleviate any weather concerns. We are from the area and have either looked at or been to every venue within a ~1hr drive of Albany, and within seconds of seeing this place we knew it was THE place. Its not just looks either, they have been a catering powerhouse for years, so no matter what entrees/packages you select, you will be amazed at their execution. They are a family-owned business and it comes across in their staffing. Everyone we dealt was terrific, and we were especially fond of our coordinator, Kyla, who was simply fabulous. The whole day went by seamlessly and if there were problems, the staff must have dealt with them efficiently. While the appearance of the venue is likely the major allure, its location is the main headache, as nearby lodging is non-existent and unfamiliar country roads can be hazardous to late-night partiers. Consequently, we provided a shuttle service to the closest major hotel (12 mi), and I would suggest you do the same.

This was the most magical venue for our wedding. Everyone has commented that our venue and wedding were like a fairy tale! Elise, our on site wedding coordinator, was incredibly responsive to all of our questions. She kept the day of flowing and I never had to worry about anything the entire day. She was just absolutely amazing! The food was absolutely amazing, and not a single person did not like their meal. I couldn't believe how amazingly smooth the day went, and everything was just fabulous!

My [now] husband and I got married here a year ago and it was absolutely spectacular! It was everything we wanted in a wedding venue. The only upsetting part was that they did not pack any food for us to take home at the end of the night, which is shocking since most places provide this service. We got back to our hotel room hungry. Nor did they have any cocktail hour food available for us. It was a bummer after we paid all that money to feed people except ourselves. Otherwise, we loved this place. Janice, Marty and Elise are so sweet and enthusiastic and treat you like family.

The Old Daley on Crooked Lake was amazing. Amazing service, food and staff. I would recommend them to any one. They go above and beyond and will answer any question you have. If they don't know the answer, they will find it for you. So happy we chose to go with The Old Daley on Crooked Lake!

We cannot say enough good things about the Crooked Lake House. With not many options for a wedding venue do to our size of a guest list, Janice and Elise reassured us we could make it work, and they sure did! Everything about our day was perfect, there was no page unturned. Elise was there for anything we needed at anytime during the wedding and the entire process leading up to our big day. We cannot thank everyone of their amazing staff for such a perfect day and an amazing job all around. I don't think one person could have left our wedding hungry, and everyone raved how delicious everything was. People kept telling us we probably wouldn't get to eat out meals because we would be too busy but I cleared my entire plate and it was amazing! We are so happy we chose such a beautiful place with caring and friendly staff. We would recommend them to anyone looking to get married! 9/26/15 was a night to remember!

I could write an entire essay on just how wonderful The Crooked Lake House is, but for the viewers sake I will keep it short and sweet. Not only is the Crooked Lake house a stunning and breathtaking location but there are not words to describe just how wonderful the staff and owners are. The food never fails to be delicious and perfect, the staff is fun, friendly, and accommodating, and over all they know how to throw one heck of a party! Crooked Lake clearly loves what they do and will go above and beyond to meet your needs and make your dream day come true. It is clear the owners are passionate about the venue and this reflects in their staff. My wedding planner, Kyla, was just perfect and made the entire process not just easy but fun too! I never dreamed my wedding could be as spectacular and fabulous as it was and CLH made it all happen

How can I describe our experience at the Crooked Lake House? Amazing from start to finish, beautiful, perfect. The staff at the Crooked Lake House, especially our wedding planner Kyla, made our experience at the Crooked Lake House perfect from start to finish. We literally had absolutely no worries about the venue, food, décor, or experience…they took care of EVERYTHING. My out of town guests who had never heard of the Crooked Lake House said it was the most beautiful venue they have ever seen and everyone said it was the best food they have had at a wedding. We cannot stop raving over how beautiful and perfect the whole day was. I wish we could do it all over again!

Where do I begin? From start to finish, our planner Elise was incredibly helpful in the planning process, answering all of our questions…and trust me we had a ton!\rThe venue is absolutely stunning: every single guest raved about it. They only host one event per day so we had the entire property. Tons of room for guests, so many amazing locations for photos. \rWe were treated like royalty. They were super flexible with menu choices and creating special plates for those with food restrictions. Speaking of food-INCREDIBLE. Everyone raved about it!\rI will be honest-they are pricy BUT worth every singe penny. We would do it all over again times 5 and definitely have it here again. The venue is open for dinner in the winter and we're looking forward to attending!

My husband and I recently got married at Crooked Lake this past weekend. I do not have a single complaint! Everything went smoothly from rearranging the order of the bridal party processing down the aisle five minutes before the wedding started to unexpected guests showing up. Our wedding planner handled everything without involving myself (the bride) which kept my stress level to a minimum. The only complaint on the food was that there was so many delicious options that people struggled to pick their favorite. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to have an amazing wedding, rain or shine :)

We couldn't be happier we chose the Old Daley Inn at Crooked Lake for our wedding ceremony and reception.\r\rThe space alone is worth every penny. Set alongside a beautiful lake with picturesque trees, the rustic Old Daley Inn is stunning from the moment you drive up. Our pristine ceremony took place on the lake on a gorgeous day. Although we brought a few decorations for outside, they were simply the cherries on top. The setting needed little help in taking our breath away, both in person and in our photographs. Inside is just as glamorous. The Oak Room, where our cocktail hour was, is right out of a movie: stone walls and wooden furniture illuminated beautifully by the natural light coming in from the windows. The reception hall overlooks the lake, which was quite nice for us since we chose to have our ceremony there too. The photos on their website don't do the space enough justice. It is more beautiful in person!!\r\rAnd the staff...the staff was extraordinary. Elise was our event planner. She guided us gently and generously through any questions we had for her and the ins and outs of Crooked Lake. Elise also provided us with great feedback about the recommended professionals we hired for the day of. On the day of the wedding, we never felt rushed, late, or pressured. Elise took us through the day with the utmost ease and class, always remaining calm, collected, and upbeat. We came to value her opinion greatly and trusted her with plenty. She worked seamlessly with our photographer and DJ to ensure we had the best day ever. In addition to Elise, the wait staff hired were all very flexible, quick on their toes, and especially kind to all our guest (including my very Italian mother). \r\rGetting married at Crooked Lake was a dream come true. Receptions here have been a family tradition for many many years. We were so so happy to keep the tradition alive. \r\rIf I could give it 10 stars, I would!!\r

We loved working with Marty, Janice and Kayla! The food was amazing, the venue was amazing, the day was amazing!!!!! We just cannot thank everyone at Old Daley enough for helping make the day memorable! People are still talking about the experience and it has been only a month. We have friends and family who are well traveled and they couldnt say enough how it was the best steak they ever had. Thank you thank you thank you!!

A big thank you to Janice, Marty, Elise and all of the staff at the Old Daley Inn on Crooked Lake for making our wedding day absolutely perfect! The food was phenomenal and the staff was top notch. From our very first meeting to the very end of the reception we were made to feel welcome and like part of the ODI family. Elise took our ideas and our itinerary and made sure that we had absolutely nothing to worry about on our big day. There was not one single stressor for us or our families… everything was perfectly well taken care of. On top of the staff, the venue was gorgeous. The setting fit us and our families to a tee… a perfect mix of rustic and classy. A perfect spot for a perfect day.\rWe heard many comments from our guests and wedding party after the reception:\r*the best food they’ve ever eaten at a wedding\r*a perfect spot for a wedding\r*setting was cozy and inviting\r*the staff and the service was great\r*everyone was super accommodating\r*Bride and Grooms suite were ideal\r*the snow and the lake made for a perfect backdrop for first look and portrait photos
