Having our wedding at Old Glory Ranch was the best decision we made in our wedding planning process! There were so many things that made it the best experience, but the top is their team: Karen is the best person to have in your wedding planning corner and their day-of team enables you, your family, and guests to simply be in the moment and enjoy the event. I would recommend OGR to anyone! Here are the reasons why it was the very best (besides their team): (1) You don't feel like just another bride. The property is so elaborate that you get to customize the experience to just how you want it and you're treated like you're somehow the only bride having an event there (2) The venue is absolutely stunning. Our friends and family from California couldn't get over how beautiful, authentic, and well-run everything was. (3) Ease - the team makes the planning process so much easier than I've heard from other brides. They handle flowers and decor (and more) and do a phenomenal job. I don't know how I would've made it work otherwise because I was an out-of-state bride! We had a 150 person wedding with our ceremony at the wedding deck by the river, our cocktail hour on the outdoor patio, and our reception in the chapel. They truly helped make it a dream wedding.

Amazing experience! The dedication and effort the team put into helping us create our unique vision was incredible! From having the ceremony in a different location than normal to hanging flowers in the trees and allowing us to take photos in wildflowers it was an amazing experience. Old Glory Ranch was an excellent venue. The staff ensured a stress free event. The venue itself provided multiple ceremony options both indoors and outdoors. We elected to have a riverside ceremony and knowing there was an indoor backup if bad weather occured provided peace of mind. The miniature burros are a must have at all weddings.

This was the most amazing venue to have our wedding!!! The property is gorgeous and provides that texas charm but also can provide a very boho/ fairytale magical night. It really can be made however you want and that’s what attracted us. The beautiful trees and river, you just can’t beat. The staff was so kind and the team was professional, efficient and made us feel very comfortable. Suzzanne, Karen and Carey were absolutely the best team to work with from beginning to end. I would recommend this venue to any bride and groom.

We got married at Old Glory Ranch (OGR) in March 2022 and had a fantastic event. Our ceremony was outside on a deck overlooking the river and our reception was on a covered patio. I wanted an outdoor event to take advantage of the beautiful scenery at OGR; and don't worry about rain/bad weather because OGR will included rain locations which are just as pretty. For the planning of your event at OGR, you should know that you will supply/contract with a DJ, photographer, caterer, etc. and then you connect those folks with the OGR staff so they can coordinate all of the \"day of\" activities. This was great because on my wedding day I got to enjoy my family and have fun with my guests while the OGR staff took care of everything else (e.g., where the caterer sets up, where guests park, where the guest book goes). During the planning phase I didn't want to spend a lot of time thinking about my bridal bouquet, floral arrangements, table settings, and other decorative details....so I took advantage of the recommendations by the OGR staff. They put together a BEAUTIFUL environment for us. However, you can be as detailed and specific as you want and you can also do your own set up in their DIY pavilion if you want a save some money. I would highly recommend getting married here. My wedding was perfect and Karen (the event coordinator at OGR) is very nice and helpful during the entire planning process.

We got married at OGR on May 14th and we couldn't be happier! This venue and the staff are all so wonderful. When I first started looking online, OGR was one of the first venues I saw. I immediately started tearing up as I looked through photos- I knew we had to visit. Seeing Old Glory in person was even more amazing. I knew this was it without even having to shop around.Karen and Suzanne were extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process. I appreciated their commitment to being upfront with their prices and making sure we understood what we were paying for before we signed anything. Their prices are very clearly listed and broken down. Karen was very easy to contact. She took the time to answer any and every question I came up with, despite having her own son's wedding to plan and a broken foot. We did not have to pay for a wedding planner because Karen essentially filled that role for us. OGR has a list of several vendors that they've worked with in the past. They also require that you get all flowers and floral from them. This was actually such a blessing because 1. They guaranteed that we would not spend more than the amount in our contract on flowers and 2. We didn't have to worry about finding another vendor.OGR also provides a day of wedding coordinator. Karen was in contact with all of our vendors and arranged drop off times. Because of these two things, my husband and I didn't have to worry about anything the day of our wedding. I knew that all of the behind the scenes things were taken care of- the food and cake would be there, decorations would be set up, the wedding party would be stationed where they needed to be, etc. They also take care of all set up and break down. On our wedding day, my husband I just showed up and worried about our own roles in the wedding. The way everything was set up was a dream come true! I am a Disney girl through and through and I've always wanted a fairytale wedding. OGR exceeded our expectations and gave us more than we dreamed of. From the horse drawn carriage to the beautiful, classy chapel to the twinkle lights that decorated the patio dance floor to the gorgeous sunset...our wedding was so beautiful. I got so many compliments from friends and family saying it was the most beautiful wedding they've been to and that the venue was perfect. Multiple people told me it felt like a fairytale. Relatives also commented on the convenience of having both the wedding and reception in the same location. The OGR staff was all in contact over radio the whole time. We never had to look at the clock, we were just told where to go and what we were doing next. At the end of the night, they even loaded up all of our things in our vehicle so we didn't have to worry about it.This was our wedding, so of course we're a little biased, but this was the most beautiful, smoothest-run wedding I've ever seen. If I could do it all over again, I'd choose OGR in a heartbeat. If you're anything like me and you've always dreamed of your fairytale wedding, consider getting married at Old Glory Ranch. You won't regret it!

I had my wedding at Old Glory Ranch earlier this month and it was the most memorable day. From the planning to the wedding day, I can’t imagine a better team to help along the way. I kept hearing all night from my family and friends how beautiful the venue is and that they were so glad to be there. Karen and Suzanne both made sure that the vision for our wedding would be handled so thoughtfully. I could write a novel about how much I love this place, but I’ll end it here. HANDS DOWN THE BEST PLACE IN THE HILL COUNTRY! The venue, the staff, yes, even the donkeys were amazing! We do not live in the area, and so we were lucky to find this place because of The Knot, Karen Smith, Suzanne McCord, (and Carey Millington). Our guests and families cannot stop talking about the day and how wonderful and relaxing it was. Karen (and Carey) literally took the reigns and we could not have been happier! Everyone had the time of their lives and we cannot wait to go back again! We even took Karen by surprise as we were leaving (me, my husband, my stand-in-matron of honor, my man of honor, his best man and the officiant) as we wound up in the kitchen trying to find the door, and we told her goodbye, to be polite. She said, without looking up, \"goodnight.\" Then said, \"oh!\" when she did look up as she thought we were staff :P Everyone was so gracious and helpful. And the donkeys were on their best behavior :D And a special shout-out to Wimberley Inn + Bar! (Family relation to Suzanne and a luck of the \"dart throw\" on the internet by my mom to find the place!) Thanks again for the memories! We cannot wait to come back and crash ;) KarenAnd we'll be seeing you at Gruene Hall Carey ;) And maybe you at Wimberley Inn + Bar when the pool's finished this summer Suzanne ;) RECOMMEND 110%!!!

Wow what a venue! I am so glad we chose this place. The team really cares about your wedding and truly want you to have a great time. It was so easy working with Karen and she was so helpful with all of my questions. If you're looking for a venue with some good old fashioned southern charm - this is the place. All of my guests said it was one of the best weddings they have been to in years because the venue was so charming, relaxing, and fun!

My wedding at Old Glory Ranch was a dream. I fell in love with this venue the first time I visited in 2019 and I never had any second doubts, despite having to postpone for a year (which they were extremely flexible about). The staff at Old Glory, especially Karen, was fantastic every step of the way. They worked with me to make sure every detail was exactly how I wanted it, especially when it came to the floral design. Old Glory does all of their floral in-house. This was a bonus for me because it meant that I didn't have to deal with another vendor which helped lessen my stress levels. Something unusual about my wedding was that we had two buffet lines by two different caterers. I was worried that having two caterers might not work, but Karen made it happen! My guests had a wonderful time. This venue was everything I wanted and I am so happy I chose them for my wedding day!

We are SO happy with our experience with Old Glory Ranch and feel so thankful we went with them for our wedding. I seriously cannot say enough wonderful things about them. Karen was our main point person throughout the process and she is AMAZING! She is kind, patient, and always so helpful. We booked the venue right before the pandemic and our wedding was set for April 2021. There was a lot of questions, anxiety as a result of the pandemic, and Karen was really great in helping guide us with decisions and how to create a safe wedding, where everyone felt comfortable. Suzanne, the owner was also wonderful, and we appreciated her involvement. I wanted a specific flower for my bouquet as it had sentimental value and when she couldn't find it, she tried to grow it for me! I wasn't even aware there was difficulty finding it or all the effort she went to until the wedding. Old Glory treats you as if you are their only customer and their main priority. In fact you don't even really feel like a customer, but like a kind friend or family member is helping you out. The staff have all worked together for a very long time and there is a family feel which was important to us. Also, the venue is GORGEOUS and there are so many different options of where to get married. We had our rehearsal dinner there as well, which was relaxing and a great way to start the weekend. On the wedding day (and even before), they take care of anything that could cause stress and make sure your day is just about enjoying it. Our guests are still talking about Old Glory, the setting, and how much fun they had. Old Glory really helped our vision come true and made sure we had the most wonderful day. We highly recommend them!

I can't recommend Old Glory Ranch enough! This was the first venue I visited in person and it took my breath away even after seeing all the pictures online! Karen Smith, my coordinator and point of contact for the planning process was amazing to work with. She was friendly and professional and didn't hesitate to keep me updated and ask me questions (or to answer my endless questions!) to make the day exactly how we envisioned. The professionalism and communication of the staff shows so well because everything ran so smoothly. They have so many options to make your day truly unique--we opted for the drink donkeys and they were a hit! Despite changing plans the day before the wedding due to weather, our wedding couldn't have been more perfect for us! Beautiful location, amazing staff, wonderful wedding!

When we first started talking about what we wanted for our wedding, we knew immediately that we wanted to be by the water, and I'm so glad we found Old Glory Ranch. The venue was gorgeous and everything we wanted and more, and the OGR team was absolutely incredible. And did I mention there were miniature donkeys? Karen guided us through the entire process, and had so much knowledge, patience, and care for us and our families. She, Suzanne, and Liz were a dream team. Everything was beautiful and ran so smoothly - from the florals, to the decorations, to taking care of us and our guests. We couldn't have asked for a better place to start the rest of our lives. We found the Old Glory Ranch by a recommendation from our Church Pastor and from the moment we entered the gates of the ranch, everything felt right. Karen met us at the door and took us on a tour of the venue and took the time to discuss their small wedding package to us. We wanted a small intimate wedding with limited people due to Covid-19. They had a plan in place which worked well for us. Karen walked us through everything they could provide and gave us names of vendors who they work with. This was a huge help since we live about 3 hours away. We met with Karen about 1 ½ months out from our wedding and went through every detail of how the day would go. On the day of rehearsal, Karen worked with our Pastor and his wife (the organist) to make sure they were comfortable and ready for our big day. The day of the wedding, Karen and her staff were on hand to make sure every detail was handled and the wedding was perfect and came off without any issues. The venue is beyond beautiful and the back patio area was perfect for an outdoor reception. The weather cooperated and we could not ask for a better day to have a wedding. If you are looking for a beautiful venue with a rustic décor, this is the place for you. The chapel is elegant and large enough for a crowd or small enough for a small intimate group. We will always remember this special place tucked away in the Hill Country around Wimberley.

Second time around for us but was so easy as the staff took care of everything and made it so easy and took away any stress! Old Glory is hands down the BEST WEDDING VENUE EVER!!!! From day one, my now husband and I were greeted with so much kindness, knowledge, and care during our tour. Throughout the planning process, Karen made sure we always had our questions answered, and we could feel that the staff at OGR truly and whole heartedly cared about us and our wedding day. She went above and beyond to provide suggestions, communication with vendors, and reassurance through the pandemic. Even on wedding day she helped calm me down by talking me through every step up until I took that first step down the aisle! Suzanne literally made my floral dreams come true! My ideas were a little different, yet she knew exactly what I was going for and executed it PERFECTLY. We even dipped into the river after our ceremony and got some pretty amazing photographs! We have received countless compliments about how gorgeous the venue, florals, and other decorations were, as well as it being “the best wedding they’ve ever been to”. Carey made sure our day ran flawlessly, I literally cannot think of one thing that didn’t go as planned. Old Glory has weddings down to a T. In the end, everyone at OGR (Karen, Carey, Wade, Suzanne, etc.!!!) felt like family, and they really made sure that our wedding day was the best day of our lives. Karen and Suzanne we so very accommodating. My wife and I were renewing our vows for our 5-year anniversary. They worked with us during the planning stages to ensure that the event was special, and tailored to our needs. Karen was a wonderful facilitator, and the photographer that she selected for the event could not have been a better fit. The evening was exquisite, and flowed seamlessly. I could not recommend Old Glory Ranch enough!!!! I truly feel like they are family now as they stood by my husband and I through this crazy year of 2020. When our original wedding date had to be postponed due to COVID, Karen (and the whole OGR staff) had everything handled. I knew OGR was on our side through everything. They handled most of the communication with our vendors and I never doubted they were there to support us. They worked with us to organize our new wedding date in July and went above and beyond to keep our guests safe. Multiple people told us (even despite COVID!), it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. The decor was stunning and they were still able to make our dream wedding come true. I would choose them over and over again and will never forget everything they did for us!!

Old Glory Ranch is the best wedding venue I could ever imagine. They successfully navigated us through the coronavirus pandemic to help us have the perfect wedding! Everyone at OGR was so wonderful, Karen Smith was the wedding/site coordinator. She constantly communicated with us and all our vendors, updating them every time there was a change and when we had to change our date due to COVID. She was simply amazing and a life savor, not to mention just nice to work with. Suzanne McCord is the owner and also great, supportive and only wants the perfect wedding for you. Suzanne did all our flowers and many of our guests commented on how beautiful they were and that it was the prettiest wedding they had ever been to. Carey Millington was our 'day of' coordinator and equally wonderful to work with and helped tremendously. The entire Old Glory Ranch staff was nice and a well-oiled machine, executing the entire day perfectly. Many guests also commented on the amazing service. And, at the end of our wonderful day, the staff packed up our cars and once the wedding was over, we just had to get in our cars and leave. We have seen and helped at other weddings when the parents, friends, and family pack and clean up for hours or days and we didn't have to do anything - SO nice! We also had the horse-drawn carriage and miniature donkeys, both of which were a big hit! The entire experience was more than we could ever ask for and if we had to do it all over again, we would do everything exactly the same (without a pandemic hopefully! Would DEFINITELY recommend Old Glory Ranch for anyone considering a wedding or event!!

This place is incredible. We had a Catholic ceremony at the church in town, so we just did our reception at the ranch, but the transition was seamless and I have no doubt that doing the ceremony there too would have been just as beautiful. Also, I had to do our wedding planning from California (though I'll admit I had PLENTY of help), but when Old Glory says they'll take care of the details, they mean it. I did not worry about a single thing for the entire weekend. Every staff member was kind, competent, and fun to be around; the music, flowers, and decor were perfect; the flow of the evening was flawless; and the tips, connections, and advice they gave in choosing vendors made sure that we had everything we wanted while still being conscious of our budget. Plus, our guests are still telling us all the different things they enjoyed about the ranch over a month later. We had a truly perfect wedding, and I can't recommend OGR highly enough.

Choosing Old Glory Ranch in Wimberley, Texas for our daughter’s wedding was an easy decision. On arrival to the venue for our tour with Karen, we fell in love with the flowered pastures with grazing miniature donkeys, the beautiful rustic chapel, and magnificent old sprawling trees. The chapel has lovely stained glass and large pieces of furniture that make decorating possibilities endless. OGR was very accommodating for my daughter’s engagement and bridal photos. Karen who worked with us through the entire process was amazing. Her mission was for the family to enjoy the process and on the big day to have nothing to think about but enjoying family and friends. Suzanne, owner of Old Glory Ranch, met with us for our design meeting. We had a few absolute choices for flowers and arrangements, but she was very helpful in offering additional possible design ideas and in some areas, we left it up to her and what she knew worked well. Floral and décor exceeded our expectations! The outside was decorated as beautifully as the inside. Carey, our event planner, created our timeline and the evening flowed perfectly. We live in Houston, but because communication was timely and detailed with all the staff, it allowed for flawless long- distance planning with just a couple onsite meetings. Having the freedom to utilize inside and outside made it a perfect evening for everyone. During the reception, guests had the option of enjoying inside with music and a dance floor with ample seating or relaxing outside on the patio or under beautifully lite trees while flickering lightening bugs joined in the festivities!

Old Glory Ranch (\"OGR\"), the owner, Suzanne McCord, and her fabulous staff (especially Karen!) are amazing and helped make my wedding day the best day ever. We fell in love with OGR from the pictures online and seeing it in person did not disappoint and sealed the deal the moment we first saw it in person. All of the facilities are fabulous and the chapel is amazing. The grounds are beautiful and the flowers in the spring are gorgeous. The staff takes care of every little detail the day of the wedding and adds extra touches and helps tremendously leading up to the wedding with approved vendor list, vendor coordination, flower design, etc. Karen was the best venue coordinator ever and we could not have done it without her. Our day of coordinator, Carey, was fantastic as well. We had so many compliments from our guests about how friendly and helpful and professional the OGR staff were and how seamlessly the entire event flowed. We are beyond happy with our decision to have our wedding at OGR and highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for that country chic charm. And, the miniature donkeys are the icing on the cake! Thank you OGR!!

We had very iffy weather and they had a plan to keep everyone dry and happy when the rain started.All of the flowers and decorations are included in the package and ours were gorgeous! Great place absolutely beautiful. They are a bit strict with ruels ther. The groomsman suit had a lot of ruels but we still had a good time. Tight ship but it was so very smooth they are defiantly on top of there planning game. Great coordinators and planners. Well ran team. We had absolutely no bumps in the road. Been to several weddings this year all had some bumps we had none. Several people said it’s the best wedding they have ever been to or have been to in many years. There was absolutely no stress of worrying about the plan and the timing or anything it was just a fun great wedding all we had to do was focus on ourselves!!

Old Glory Ranch and their staff helped create the most fun and memorable wedding for my husband and I! From the second we drove passed the front gate, I knew this was the perfect location for us. The beautiful chapel, the gorgeous river, the adorable mini donkeys...should I go on? The ranch is fabulous. Plus, the deal gets even better because the OGR staff are absolutely phenomenal as well. They are organized, punctual, professional, genuine, and kind. The staff are focused on helping bring your vision to life while keeping your budget (and reality) in mind. With all of these amazing attributes, I still thought my wedding night would be hectic and that I would not be able to enjoy the night to its fullest. I could not have been more wrong. The night flowed beyond smoothly and my husband and I had an absolute blast. I have received numerous compliments from our friends and family that attended saying that they also had an amazing time celebrating the night away. You cannot go wrong choosing Old Glory Ranch as the place you say I do!

Our wedding went off without a hitch and the day was absolutely magical! Not only is OGR beautiful, and has the cutest mini donkeys, but the staff is amazing as well. Karen and Carey were wonderful to work with and had everything completely taken care of so I didn't have to stress at all on my wedding day. This venue isn't the cheapest but you get what you pay for... It is DEFINITELY WORTH IT!!! It really cuts down on a lot of worry and hassle due to the fact that the majority of things go through OGR and that they also coordinate everything with your outside vendors. Also, it's nice that there are so many staff members available on your wedding day to ensure that everything goes perfect. If I had to do it all over again I would pick OGR without any hesitation!

Old Glory Ranch was the greatest decision we could have ever made. They made wedding planning the easiest and least stressful it could have been. The staff is AMAZING- they take care of every detail I would never have thought of, help you every single step of the way, and then execute the day of so you and your family do not have to lift a finger. We wanted yard games and a “garden party feel” and the staff created that flawlessly. They also help you find every vendor so you have a short list to narrow down from. The grounds are GORGEOUS, the flowers they provide are BEAUTIFUL, and the coordinators are FLAWLESS. I couldn’t be happier. I love this place with my whole heart.

Old Glory Ranch is the perfect Ranch Wedding Venue! Suzanne, April and Karen and the entire staff went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect. They took care of everything and I was able to enjoy the wedding instead of worrying about details. We had a freak cold front in April come through and the staff got heaters all set up and made sure our guest didn't freeze! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding. The miniature donkeys, the carriage ride and the venue made our wedding stand out from all the others I have been too. I would do it all over again and not change a thing!

Our daughter got married there April 14, 2018. It was BEAUTIFUL and so well organized. They handled all last minute details with vendors. I was so relaxed on the wedding day and was able to enjoy spending that time with my daughter. Not only did the bride have fun at her wedding, but my husband and I had a blast too!! Our DJ was awesome! The flowers we amazing!! Event Site Manager, Karen Smith was WONDERFUL at handling all the details so I didn’t have to. Our Event Planner Carey Millington ran a tight ship and kept the day on track without making it feel stuffy and rigid. After the event was over, our car was already completely loaded by their staff with any items that were ours to take home. What a brilliant gift for us! My husband and I were able to go back to our cabin and visit with our family instead of spending an hour or so gathering our things. We had our wedding here a few weeks ago and it was perfect! Our first trip to the venue, we were very impressed. They have about 5 different ceremony locations, but they also have just an empty field with the perfect view of the hills in the background so we asked if we could have the ceremony there and they made our vision come to life. The day of, we did not have to worry about anything. April our on-site manager handled all the vendors. We basically just had to show up day of. We received so many compliments about how beautiful everything was and how organized the whole wedding was. Needless to say we are very pleased with how everything turned out and would highly recommend Old Glory. They are very professional and detailed. We truly enjoyed working with them.

I cannot say enough great things about Old Glory Ranch! I am a self proclaimed control freak and even with how detail oriented I am, OGR far exceeded my expectations. The venue is kept immaculate so the photo opportunities are endless, and since they do floral in house, they know how to design it in a way that not only fits into the vision of the couple, but also compliments the beauty of venue itself. Karen was our coordinator and she was absolutely wonderful to work with. From answering all my questions to coordinating vendors, it was a blessing having someone to work out the day of details so that the wedding party and family did not have to take on that stress. They also have a day of coordinator, Carey, and she was amazing to work with as well. From the ceremony to the reception, everything flowed perfectly, and if myself or the groom needed anything, we had it at a moment's notice.Old Glory Ranch has truly perfected the art of throwing the perfect wedding. Throughout the night and even to this day, myself and my parents have received countless compliments not only on how beautiful the event was, but also on how well done everything was. I cannot thank OGR enough as they gave my husband and me a truly amazing wedding!

Old Glory is the prefect setting for a wedding. It felt right the moment we walked through the door of the Chapel. Our daughter got married there in April and we are still hearing from friends and family what an amazing night it was. Many, many thanks to all the staff for outstanding service but most especially to Karen, who goes above and beyond to help.We had definite ideas for centre pieces for the tables, which Suzanne hadn't done before, but she surpassed herself. They were beautiful, as were all the flowers.The venue is unique, and the packages they offer remove some of the stress of organizing a wedding, from flowers to their eclectic choice of accessories.Thank you, Old Glory, for the most wonderful memories.

Wow, where do I begin? I arrived at this venue unexpectedly and the owner Susan happened to be there to give me a tour. When I say fate brought me here, I mean it. Susan welcomed me with open arms and I knew stepping into this venue that this was the place I wanted to marry my best friend. Her coordinators were so great at keeping me up to date with all that needed to be done, but what you really should know is they do everything for you. Literally everything. I had the BEST wedding, more than I could have dreamed of due to this venue and the staff. Old glory made everything so easy- from beginning to end, all we had to do was show them what we liked and the show up and party! They made our day really special, and most importantly, they took care of every little detail amazingly so that we, our friends,and family's were able to enjoy the ceremony and reception without having to lift a finger...they even packed our cars and included a after wedding snack for us in our car!If you want a beautiful wedding, custom designed for you with all the help and support you can imagine, this venue is for you! Old Glory is a must see, must book venue if you want an outdoor or hill country wedding. I could not have found a more perfect venue for my daughter's wedding. Not only is it gorgeous, but Suzanne and my onsite coordinator, Karen Smith, were so accommodating to all of our special needs. We had our first venue have to cancel about 3 months before the wedding, and Suzanne graciously made Old Glory work for us, even with our limited budget. Old Glory made EVERYTHING my daughter had imagined come true! We did DIY at the Pavillion, and I was nervous about pulling it off, but Karen was so helpful it seemed easy. Even with my being in Houston and my daughter being away at Dental School, Karen kept tabs on us and made sure we had a plan for every necessary detail (many we didn't think of ourselves!). Then when the day came, their staff could not be more professional! They were behind the scenes making up for any 'mistakes' we made, so her day was perfect. I could not be more grateful. The pictures are gorgeous - the landscape and venue buildings are so easy for photographers to work with! And you must get the donkeys - huge hit with the guests and the phitographers . If I could give 10 stars I would!

100% stop looking and book this venue, Karen Smith was awesome to work with. The staff was amazing and super nice, their vendors were over the top awesome and the price was great! If you want to DIY [I did] the pavilion is the perfect venue, you barely need anything as far as decorations. Old Glory goes above and beyond expectations. They helped make my wedding day the most amazing day I could have ever imagined. Even with going through me [a busy grad student who lives 4 hours away, with a tight budget, and only 3 months to plan the wedding] they managed to stay so professional and attentive to every question and need. They are so helpful beyond the contract, I would definitely work with them again in the future. Have a DJ bring lighting, and you wont need to go to the trouble of buying and putting up extra lights. Oh, and use the donkeys, they were a HUGE hit for my guests and awesome for pictures.

I knew as soon as I walked into the chapel for the first time that Old Glory Ranch would be the place I got married. Our wedding was on 1/14/17, and it was the most beautiful, special, and unforgettable night ever. From a woman who did not know all that goes into planning a wedding and also decided to do it in 3 short months, the staff at OGR made it possible and stress free. They definitely know what they're doing and go out of their way to help you with whatever you need, large or small. The place is absolutely breathtaking. Suzanne, the owner, really knows how to capture the look you're going for. In my design meeting with her, I just gave her a brief description of what I wanted and showed her some pictures, and she far exceeded my expectations. My bridal bouquet was exquisite, and the venue looked better than I even imagined. Karen was my coordinator and she helped me every step of the way, and always responded quickly. She also contacted all my vendors so I didn't have to worry about a thing, which I am so grateful for!Carey was an incredible planner! She made the whole night go so smooth. Any last minute changes or ideas, she made it happen. She really is amazing at what she does and made the night come together beautifully. The entire staff was great!! They really go above and beyond to make your wedding day magical...I would highly recommend this venue for a wedding. Thank you all for making my wedding perfect!!

Old Glory Ranch is a stunning Hill Country venue! If you have a vision they can make it happen. We were married on October 8, 2016. The wedding planning process is a bit overwhelming but with Karen leading the way you get a feeling of comfort and competence. We could not have done it without her. Thank you Karen! Our wedding day was perfect and the staff was there every step of the way pampering and guiding us. The floral decor was beautiful and the vendors they recommended were solid performers from the music to the catering to the photographer and the cake... it was all so well done. Close to the end of the reception we were having so much fun we extended the reception for another hour. We just did not want the day to end. One of my cousins from New York said it the best. \"This is not just a wedding, this is an experience!\"

The staff at old glory was fantastic from the beginning. We had several pre wedding meetings prior to our wedding where we were able to relay our wishes which were accommodated. The day of our wedding had questionable weather with our set up including outside tables. The staff kept us up to date with alternative plans which was an easy fix with turning over the hall while appetizers were served under the patio. The hall and outside patio were decorated very nicely matching what we had discussed in our pre wedding meetings. Karen and the other staff were attentive to the timeline we discussed as well as to our guests throughout the event. Overall our wedding went right along with our hopes and wishes and we had no issues throughout the event. We will have lasting memories of our wedding at old glory.

We got married at Old Glory Ranch October 15, 2016 and couldn't have picked a better venue! Our guest are still contacting us about how great everything was. The staff and grounds sets this venue apart! When you turn around to look for someone for a simple questions, they are right there. From meetings, emails and phone calls the staff at Old Glory Ranch is the best in the business. The floral/ decoration teams made all our ideas a reality. I would recommend Old Glory Ranch to anyone looking to get married in the Hill Country.

My wife and I could not have been happier with Old Glory Ranch and their staff. We are natural planners and were met with professional staff who shared great ideas with us in the planning phase and were extremely flexible and understanding of our needs for our wedding day. They do a great job of managing all the \"ins and outs\" of wedding planning and the wedding day. My wife and I would meet and update with vendor selections and ideas, and Old Glory Ranch would take care of the rest! The tasks of decorating, making deliveries and stressful jobs on the day of the wedding that typically are assigned to family members are taken care of in your site fee to OGR. They simply let you and your family enjoy the day and they manage the day seamlessly to your discretion. The design and floral teams are spectacular in their custom design packages, flower and floral arrangements and they were so friendly and flexible in choosing how we wanted our day to look. We were able to explain our budget needs and concerns and OGR bent over backwards to make it work. The venue itself is a beautiful place that guests will love, there are many little touches that you can add to make it special for your wedding day. I would highly reccomend this venue to anyone.

I think the best review I can post is to directly copy the thank you note that I sent to Susan, Gina, and Karen after our ceremony:We have finally settled into married life, so I wanted to take a minute to let you know how thankful we are that we chose Old Glory as our venue. Our wedding day was truly the best day of my life, and my husband feels the same way. You guys knocked it out of the park.Everyone told us to be ready because inevitably something major always goes wrong on your wedding day. Well, if it did, we don't know about it and I know that is only because we left all of the details into your very capable hands! I loved that after we dropped everything off on Thursday I never had to worry about another thing...all I had to do was show up and yet everything was PERFECT. The decor and ambiance, the flow of every event that weekend, and especially the processional timing, ceremony, and reception...all flawless.Our guests have repeatedly told me that our wedding was not only the most beautiful (\"Every detail deserves it's own Pinterest board!\") but also the most fun wedding that they have ever attended. Normally I would say that is just something people tell every bride. But now I've seen the pictures. And the videos. And let me tell you...they are right. I still can't get over how beautiful the floral & decor turned out. You guys managed to completely capture my vision and yet expand upon it so that the result was even better than what I had in mind. And it wasn't just beautiful in person; all of the floral and decor looks even better in the photographs, if that is even possible! About a third of our guests changed their Facebook profile pictures to one from that evening. Bluebonnets, beer donkeys, and flower-covered wagons filled up our FB newsfeeds for days! :DSimply put, it was stunning. If we could go back in time and do it all over again neither one of us would change a single thing. My husband, Carl and I, got married this past April at the breathtaking, Old Glory Ranch! We couldn't have been more pleased with how much attention to detail the staff, owner, and wedding coordinator put into making our BIG day beyond perfect! From the moment we took our first tour and met with Old Glory staff, we knew that we had found our dream venue and were so excited to begin the planning! The drive up the pathway, leading to the most unique rustic Chapel Hall speaks for itself and an added plus are what the Hill Country is known for, the Bluebonnets and Wildflowers! We knew that we wanted lots of floral accents to go with our theme as our bridesmaids dresses were floral with an array of color. The Old Glory Floral team did a spectacular job with each and every arrangement they put together, from my beautiful bouquet to the centerpieces and in between. Old Glory not only assisted with helping us plan the look and feel of our wedding day, but they also provided amazing lists of all the best connections in the area from Food to Music to Cake designers and Photography! Overall, we wanted our friends and family to have a wedding weekend that they couldn't forget, at a place that they would continue talking about for years and years to come and we know for a fact that we got that with Old Glory Ranch! We can't thank you all enough for all that you did!

My entire experience with Old Glory Ranch and the incredible, personable and caring staff made my perfect day so enjoyable. The decorations and the flowers left me breathless. In all of my life, I could have never imagined such a perfect venue/day. We literally got to enjoy every moment of it and it was so perfect! My husband and I are so appreciative for the job that was done to make the venue so beautiful, making our wedding day absolutely perfect. We will remember this day for the rest of our lives and have made lasting friendships with the incredible staff members. My wedding was truly perfect, the venue was gorgeous and I would not change a thing. I will definitely be visiting this beautiful ranch often.

The venue and staff are truly one of a kind! My husband and I were looking for an outdoor venue in the hill country for our April wedding that had a good \"plan B\" option in case of rain. I was set on having it outdoors until we walked into Old Glory's chapel for the first time. Pictures truly don't do it justice. The chapel (and adjacent stone patio) were like nothing we had ever seen. It's charming, unique, vintage, and -to boot- has a very neat history behind the building of it. The icing on top of a great venue is the staff. We worked primarily with April, Karen, and Suzanne. They were all tentative, helpful, personable, and professional. Especially the weekend of our wedding, knowing they were on top of everything allowed my husband, myself, and our families to relax and enjoy such a special time. A big thanks to OGR staff for giving us the best wedding we could have asked for!

I knew this was the venue for me the moment we pulled up to the Chapel!! The staff was there for us every step of the way and their attention to detail was impeccable. They recommended some great businesses for the cake, catering, photographer, and all the extras you could want for your special day! I spoke with them about the idea I had for my bouquet, and trusted them to just make it......and they couldn't have made a more beautiful bouquet for me!! The town of Wimberley is the cutest little quaint town and our friends and family enjoyed all the sight seeing and gorgeous views! We heard nothing but good things from our guests and they said it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding :)

Everyone had a great time! The setting was beautiful with the trees lit with lanterns. They even provided the flower arrangements which were gorgeous!

You are guaranteed to work with pros when you choose Old Glory Ranch. They've done this countless times and make you feel very comfortable and confident that your special day is going to be really special. Compared to other venues, I would consider this a one stop shop. You're not having to figure out who will be picking up chairs at the end of the ceremony or how to make sure everyone gets a slice of cake. But like the saying goes \"you get what you pay for.\" We were surprised by the high costs of using this venue (from flowers that were $2K over budget to $550 to use non-lawn chairs for the ceremony) and sometimes felt that the staff wasn't 100% clear about what costs would end up being. We understand that wedding planning is a fluid process and so, perhaps, should have been a little more prepared for the high costs, but there was certainly more than one instance where the cost came in higher than expected. However, at the end of the day, our wedding went off without a hitch. I didn't worry about anything all evening and I've since discovered that there was a ton that was done behind the scenes to keep the evening flowing. My husband and I left the wedding thinking, \"Did that really just happen? Did that really go as perfectly as we felt it went?\" And after having spoken with our guests, it really did! We're so happy with how it went and are very glad we went with Old Glory.

Trying to find a venue was absolutely the most stressful part of planning our wedding.\rOnce I set foot inside Old Glory Ranch, I knew the search was over. It's incredibly beautiful inside and out. The staff is fantastic (although the owner did not make me feel very comfortable, but I guess that's not her job). Very helpful and attentive to any questions or concerns I had. The venue also does all of the flowers. They came out wonderfully. They offer a carriage for the bride's entrance, and also for the bride and groom to enter the reception. Initially I was not going to use it. I felt like it was unnecessary. Thank goodness I changed my mind! It made ALL the difference in the world, and every one of the guests complimented us on it, and said how beautiful it was. I'm so grateful we used the carriage. \rWe did have a few hiccups in the few weeks before the wedding, but they gave us some options and everything turned out perfectly.\rAlso, the donkeys were a huge hit!

As a bride, at first I was very overwhelmed with the planning process. It gave me great peace of mind knowing that I could completely entrust Old Glory with every detail of the planning, while I was able to focus on my engagement, future marriage, and life in Houston. They are experienced, perfectionists which is music to any brides ears. No detail was overlooked, and they seamlessly coordinated the evening. When you're spending the money on your wedding, that is something of extreme value. In addition to their professionalism, the venue is absolutely gorgeous! We hardly decorated because we didn't want to take away from the natural beauty of the property. It was a picture oerfect evening. Thank you OGR for giving this \"type A\" bride peace of mind and the wedding of my dreams!

Our wedding was beyond perfect and we could not believe just how smooth everything went. All of our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how much fun they all had. Every single detail from the floral design, the carriage ride, down to the flow of the ceremony and reception were everything we ever envisioned, if not more. Old Glory Ranch really exceeded our expectations and we are so grateful for all that they've done! We're very happy with the service we received and highly recommend them to anyone wanting a magical and majestic wedding in a gorgeous hill country! Old Glory Ranch was everything and more than we could ask for to make my daughters fairy tale wedding come true. Nicole & Nick were married on July 11 and the ranch was beautiful in every way. Our guest enjoyed every aspect of the wedding, we received so many compliments and none of it would have been possible without the OGR team who helped us every step of the way, provided vendor lists and it made the long distance wedding planning much easier than it would have been and I'm so thankful! Suzanne, Gina and the whole team are the best and you won't go wrong planning your wedding with them!

From the owner, to the site manager, to my day of wedding coordinator, to the groundsman-their staff served us SO well & made my wedding the best day ever. I got married on the wedding deck and then had an outdoor reception-it was all a dream wedding. Their kindness, accommodation, service, & professionalism is superb. My mother and I could not have asked for a better wedding venue that was absolutely worth our investment!

Old Glory was an amazing location! I was planning my wedding from Denver, CO and I could not have been happier with the location, people and hospitality! They made planning easy with recommended caterers, musicians, photographers and an in-house florist. Their property is absolutely stunning, my guests had never seen anything like it! Furthermore, myself and the rest of the bridal party was put at ease with the staff. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a classic, Texas hill country wedding!

Suzanne McCord (Owner)

Always an avid party giver, Suzanne moved to the Hill Country in the early ‘90s to create something “entertaining” on the property they had acquired in 1984. By chance, a close family friend wanted to get married at Old Glory Ranch in 1997, and with that wedding, a new career was launched for Suzanne. Totally comfortable in this role as a party giver and utilizing her degree in psychology daily, the business plan began. Culminating with the completion of the breathtaking “Texas Victorian” structure in 2000, the rest, as they say, is history!
