Old Hickory was a dream to work with! Jen was amazing with communicating quickly and answering any questions I had. She went above and beyond to be accommodating to any needs that I had leading up to the big day. On our day, she and her staff had everything go flawlessly. They made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it and catered to our needs on the day of. Their venue is updated and provided everything that we needed and wanted. We were also able to plan our layout of the reception as well. On the night of our rehearsal we were able to bring all of our decor and the staff set it up exactly how we wanted. At the end of the night, they also repacked it nicely in boxes for us to pick up the following day. We loved that it was a whole packaged deal with food and drink. All of our guests raved about how delicious the food was and the drinks also did not disappoint! Old Hickory is a wonderful place to get married and I would recommend their venue to everyone!

We had our wedding reception at Old Hickory on 10/28/23. From the moment we first met with Julie to tour the space all the way through the end of our reception, Julie and all of the staff were very accommodating, kind, professional, and so very easy to work with. They helped us navigate last minute changes due to weather and worked with our other vendors to help the day run as smoothly as possible. Old hickory is more than just a venue, the quality of service and coordination they provide in the weeks leading up to the wedding was truly priceless. Using Old Hickory cut down on so much wedding stress for us. It allowed us to focus on the details that were the most important to us while they took care of table settings, cake cutting, and even decorating. All the event coordinators were so wonderful to work with, and incredibly responsive to emails.

Julie at Old Hickory Golf Club MADE our wedding the most amazing, perfect event I've ever experienced. From our very first email exchange asking to come view the space, Julie made us feel like the most important thing she was working on. She provided clear, concise information & costs so we were able to calculate our expenses down to the dollar, a year in advance! There was rarely an answer she didn't have off the top of her head, but when there was, she never once failed to get back to us with an answer in a timely manner. She was so organized herself and kept us so organized also-- but without ever coming off as pushy or overwhelming us with questions. During the 13 months between booking OHGC and the big day, there were two or three lulls in planning when there wasn't much to do and we didn't communicate with Julie for a month or two. However, every time we would communicate again after one of these lulls, Julie came off as if she didn't even need to refresh her memory on where we were at with planning. It was like she was right there alongside us planning the most important day of our lives, even through the parts of the process that had hardly anything to do with the venue and were more about the other vendors. As a bride, Julie was my RIGHT HAND MAN and I could never have pulled off the day without her. I'm sure most brides think this, but my wedding day was truly the best day of my life. Of course the day is so special because I married the love of my life, but the day was THE BEST DAY because every single thing went off without a hitch. Every thing I wanted, desired, envisioned, expected..... every single thing went better than I'd ever planned or hoped it could've. So much of that, I owe to Julie. She did SO MUCH in the \"background\" to make our day everything it was. Then came the big day where Julie was our MVP who organized her staff and all our closest friends and family-- all at once-- into the best wedding ever. The decorations were beyond my wildest Pinterest saves. The OHGC staff & servers were amazing, personable, and everywhere meaning if I needed anyone or anything, there was an OHGC staff member there to take care of it. The grounds were absolutely beautiful & provided so many gorgeous sites for our photos. They provided golf carts enough for my whole wedding party to get around. They took care of my belongings, personal and decor, with care and organization-- and everything got back to our house safely after the event. Everything about Julie and OHGC exceeded my expectations. & we are already planning our anniversary party there too.... and we've only been married 20 days!

Julie helped us plan our wedding at Old Hickory Golf Club and from start to finish, she and the rest of the staff was amazing! We had several meetings before the wedding day, including a tasting, we discussed details like how we wanted the room set up and where we wanted decor, timing, etc. On my wedding day, I had very little stress, as I knew everything had been handled. We got married outside in the trees, not far from the clubhouse. It was such a gorgeous ceremony location, our guests are still talking about how beautiful it was (and half of them live in California!). Even the cocktail hour was gorgeous since it was on the veranda, and it gave guests a beautiful view of the sunset and lake. It was the best day of our lives, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.

I recently had my wedding at Old Hickory and highly recommend working with Julie! She was super helpful throughout the whole process of planning my wedding there. Julie reached out to all of my vendors the week of the wedding to help make sure everything would go smoothly the day of. Julie and her team set up all the decorations that I had provided and I was able to view the reception room beforehand. I had some feedback and they fixed what I wanted immediately. The food there was wonderful for dinner! We chose the ceremony site under the trees which was a beautiful spot for June. Definitely recommend getting married at Old Hickory!

Old Hickory was first class all the way! They laid all the details out up front, made it easy to understand what was or was not included. The facilities were just beautiful too. But the people there made all the difference! Jen was simply amazing and the staff made us feel like royalty all night long. I never worried about anything. I just knew it was being handled, so I could focus on my daughter/son-in-law and guests! I had so many guests comment on the food as well - was very impressed with the quality on the buffet.

We just had our wedding September 2022. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful, but the planning process was not stress free like these other reviews are saying. I emailed Jen very frequently and she was always professional, but sometimes it would take 5+ days to get a response from her. We knew we had to hit a food & beverage minimum for our wedding and we thought we hit it because we paid $6k over the min., but in our final detailed phone call Jen informed us that we had not hit our min by $4k. When I asked when that was due she said, “In a week, so you have time”. Because this was right before the wedding we upgraded our bar package to premium and added 3 appetizers. If Jen would of told us in advance that we weren’t projected to hit our min I would have invited more guests instead. She knew from the beginning that we were anticipating 125 guest and we ended up having 130. Also, she forgot to charge us for the napkin upgrades so when I thought everything was paid she told me I needed to bring a check for $75. We were disappointed when we were supposed to have our rehearsal dinner in the wine cellar room & when we went down to that room it was setup for another persons event. So we had our rehearsal dinner in the same type of room that we were having our reception. We wanted a different scenery for the days. We also got the wrong salads for the dinner which isn’t a huge deal but still frustrating My husband and I also thought we were going to have our own dressing rooms, but the day of I was informed us girls would be in the locker room and the boys later got kicked out of the boardroom to the locker room because of another wedding party. That same wedding party ended up walking through our private entrance all night taking our premium alcohol, and eating our appetizers. One of our guests told them that they can’t do that and it started an argument. Our actual ceremony started around 4:50 instead of 4:30 so we ended up being restricted with time taking pictures. I’m not sure if it was taking Julie longer to line everyone up or what the situation was, but the entire processional party was there. Overall our wedding was great, but there were some things that could have been handled better. The food was great, our outside ceremony was beautiful, and the wait staff was kind

Jen and Julie are the absolute best to work with! They are both so organized and made everything so stress-free, we truly had no worries our entire wedding day. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony and both the ceremony site and reception area was set up so beautifully! The room was set up perfectly for our reception and looked beautiful. Our room also connected to a covered porch, so guests were able to utilize the indoor and outdoor space. The food was incredible, and all of our guests enjoyed their meals. The staff was extremely attentive and did a great job keeping the reception running smoothly. If you're looking to have the most relaxing wedding day possible, Old Hickory is where you want to be! From the moment we started working with Jen, everything was a breeze. She always had the right answer to each and every concern or question. She was timely and well organized. She was so patient with everything, including my mom asking a thousand questions at every meeting or every biweekly email:). As most brides know, there is a big chance that something will go wrong on the big day, whether it's the weather, a spilt drink, etc., but nothing and I mean NOTHING went wrong on our big day. I could chalk that up to luck, but I truly believe it was because of Jen and her crew. They made sure everyone was where they were suppose to be and at the right time. I truly did not have to lift a finger or worry about ANYTHING. Not only did they have a true sense of organization and professionalism, but Jen and her crew were so fun and easy to work with. They have to be the friendliest venue in St. Charles County. Also, if you are worried about food, you need to pick this venue. We decided to do stations instead of a traditional buffet style dinner and it did not disappoint! We had everything from a nacho/taco bar to spicy chicken sliders and french fries! More so, my husband, my mom and I are both picky about our drinks, and they made sure to have our specific kind of alcohol behind the bar. Jen Champion, our coordinator at Old Hickory, was fantastic. No matter how many emails or calls, she was always professional, personable and extremely helpful.Jen and her staff pretty much made my daughter's wedding perfect. The staff went above and beyond duty helping us load and unload items from vehicles, answering questions, directing guests etc. The ceremony was outside at the grove in November, so you can imagine a little stress due to the weather, but Jen had the contingency plan, in case of bad weather, all laid out. Jen and her staff coordinated deliveries with all out outside vendors, cake, cookies, florist etc.We were able to take all the items we needed the day of the wedding to the venue a couple days in advance. So, the guest books, attendance favors etc. for the reception we gave to Jen and they set everything up. We were also able to take items to the bridal party rooms that may be needed, i.e. steamers, go bags etc. Having the bridal party rooms at the venue where the girls could get hair and makeup done , get dressed and just all be together was especially nice. The guys had their own area also, could play pool etc.I can't say enough about how great Jen and her entire staff was, from the guys at the golf pro shop getting a cart to get the coolers into the bridal rooms, to staff driving corsages from where corsages were delivered down to the ceremony, they helped with all the little details that can be quite overwhelming the day of the wedding. The wait staff, the bartenders and everyone at Old Hickory were extremely professional and helpful.The food was excellent and everyone had a great time.I would highly recommend Old Hickory to everyone looking to plan a large event.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Old Hickory was. I would hire them again, and again. The food and service were both 5 stars. The venue and setup were gorgeous. They were checking in with me all night to see if there was anything else they could do, but everything was perfect. Staff was incredibly attentive and professional. The food was AMAZING. To top it all off, a groomsman split the seam in his tuxedo pants at the start of the reception, and a bartender overheard my dilemma, and after finding he was similar in size to the groomsman in question, offered to loan his pants to our groomsman and changed into something else to continue bartending. This SAVED the night, and was so far above and beyond what was expected, let's just say that Old Hickory has a customer for life. There is honestly nothing that they could have done differently or better. Top notch class act all the way. Highly, highly recommend. We have heard so many comments from our guests that this was one of the best receptions that they have ever attended. I am so happy that we chose Old Hickory. We have nothing but perfect memories of this night.

We had an amazing outdoor ceremony and indoor reception on 9/25/21. Jen is extremely friendly and very on-top of the details from day one of the wedding planning process. We had so many odd questions that came up during our 1.5 year engagement, and she was always so positive and communicative that it made the planning process as much of a breeze as it could be. We have a ton of married friends who told us leading up to the wedding that we would feel somewhat sad that it was over the following day, but that is not the case with us. We had the perfect wedding and we are so so so incredibly thankful to Old Hickory for making it possible. The room is full of windows which provide great natural light and beautiful views of the golf course. Brittany was our event planner and she was incredibly knowledgable, easy to work with and detail-oriented! When the pandemic hit, we were unsure how/if we would proceed with our wedding. Brittany and Old Hickory were so flexible and made sure that our big day would be special no matter how we decided to move forward. The wedding day went so smoothly thanks in large part to Brittany and the OHGC staff! And the food is AMAZING! Often the food at a tasting may taste way better than at the actual event, but that is not the case at Old Hickory. The food was delicious, very affordable in comparison to other St. Louis area venues, and the portion sizes were perfect. If you're considering Old Hickory, don't think twice! Choosing Old Hickory for my wedding reception was the best thing I ever could have done. This place it’s absolutely amazing. The new floors and chairs made my reception that much more wonderful. The venue and the staff are truly top notch. The beautiful rooms, accommodating staff and the breathtaking views were why my husband and I went with this venue. Working with Jen was such and amazing experience. She took my vision and what I wanted and made sure everything looked perfect for my big day. The food is wonderful! I can’t say enough great things about this venue and the staff. They were so attentive during our event and checked to see if we needed anything. Truly made our wedding day the most wonderful day of our lives. We loved the staff and place so much that we became members of the golf club. I highly recommend Old Hickory to everyone for any and all of their events!

Choosing Old Hickory for my wedding reception was the best thing I ever could have done. This place it’s absolutely amazing. The new floors and chairs made my reception that much more wonderful. The venue and the staff are truly top notch. The beautiful rooms, accommodating staff and the breathtaking views were why my husband and I went with this venue. Working with Jen was such and amazing experience. She took my vision and what I wanted and made sure everything looked perfect for my big day. The food is wonderful! I can’t say enough great things about this venue and the staff. They were so attentive during our event and checked to see if we needed anything. Truly made our wedding day the most wonderful day of our lives. We loved the staff and place so much that we became members of the golf club. I highly recommend Old Hickory to everyone for any and all of their events!

Everything about this venue is gorgeous and classic with the beautiful newly updated flooring and chairs to the breathtaking views of the golf course from their reception venue. The staff at Old Hickory is absolutely amazing. They capture my vision I had for my reception and went out of their way to make sure it was the most special day of my husband and my lives. I will never forget how beautiful everything was. The food is amazing! Working with Jen was the best experience I had. I can not say enough wonderful things about this place and the people who work here. My husband and I decided to join the golf club because we loved everything about it. I highly recommend Old Hickory for any and all of your events!

We could not be happier with our choice to celebrate our special day at Old Hickory Golf Club. The venue is beautiful, and it was so convenient for our guests to enjoy our ceremony on the outdoor terrace, then step inside the adjacent ballroom for the reception. We received many compliments on the delicious dinner, but Old Hickory's shining star is their wonderful staff. Brittany, our event coordinator, was personable, knowledgeable, and very organized. She made planning our big day so easy and fun. Erica, our bartender, was top notch. She made each one of our guests feel special. Every member of the Old Hickory team was helpful and professional. They were always available, whether it was phone or e-mail, and they always had a soothing answer for my silly and frantic bridal questions. They were on top of everything and they lowered my stress level tremendously. The day of the reception was beyond my wildest imagination. The room looked like everything I ever wanted; and they had little to no instruction. We dropped off the decor with them on Friday morning and said they would take care of it all no problem, and man did they deliver. We got so many compliments on the food and the venue itself. It was worth every penny. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone looking to get married! Thanks for the most memorable day of my life, Old Hickory!

Old Hickory was beyond our wildest dreams!! It down poured moments before our outdoor ceremony and without skipping a beat they moved our entrie ceremony inside in the down pouring rain for us. Jessica was absolutely fantastic and listened to my every need. She also made great suggestions and was absolutely essential to our wedding day. Book at old hickory if you want amazing food, fantastic help and would like an entire day that you don't have to worry about a thing except dancing the night away.

The day was beastly hot, but the trees provided shade and a light breeze made it bearable. Veronica was great to work with, and was able to accommodate all our wishes. The reception hall was very nice, with a great view. Overall, we would highly recommend Old Hickory.

She coordinated most of the day-of details (vendor arrival times, tipping vendors, setting up) which took off plenty of stress leading up to the wedding and the day of itself. When in doubt, I just turned to Veronica and she had the answer. You can also drop off your decorations before the wedding day, so it's all ready to go. In addition, Old Hickory provides a place for the bride and groom to get ready separately and golf carts to travel around the course for photos. Overall, can't say enough good things about the place and I would highly recommend them.

The Stone house of St. Charles promised us a perfect stress free wedding but the building had not started being built 2 months before our wedding. Everyone (young adults and middle aged people alike) raved about how it was the best food they'd ever had at a reception. In fact, people are still talking about how delicious the dinner, appetizers and late night snacks were and the wedding was over 3 weeks ago! At the end of the night, one of the groom's grandmas told me it was the classiest wedding she'd ever attended! I am so glad we chose Old Hickory!

We were so pleased with everything the folks at Old Hickory did yesterday to make our son’s rehearsal dinner such a wonderful event. Everything went off perfectly and as I had hoped. Veronica was there to make sure the centerpieces and dessert table were laid out and ready for us. Because we had chosen the buffet option, I didn’t realize they would serve the rolls and salads. It was such a nice touch and allowed everyone to get a little something to eat before waiting in the buffet line. The room was nicely prepared. Everyone on staff was so professional and friendly. The directional signs outside and inside were appreciated and spot on. I couldn’t have asked for a nicer experience.

Cannot say enough good things about Old hickory. The venue is beautiful and the coordinators Jen and Melissa were amazing. Being the control freak that I am I had a difficult time letting the control go into another person's hands. Especially when it came to our wedding day. But Jen heard my vision and brought it to life on the big day. Everything was perfect and just how I pictured it. From getting ready, to the ceremony, and through the reception everything was very organized and ran so smoothly thanks to Jen and Melissa. I really couldn't have asked for anything to be more perfect and that is all owed to Jen, Melissa, and the wonderful staff at Old hick. I highly recommend old hickory golf club to anyone. Thank you for making my dreams of having the perfect wedding come true!

This place has it all! We spent all day starting with pictures, then the ceremony on the balcony followed by the reception in the Magnolia room. All of our guests loved the location. From the minute you drive into the place, it sets the scene for a fabulous wedding. Their food was great! Jen C. was great to work with. She was very detailed and made the day flow smoothly. We only had one hiccup that day. We were supposed to be provided a room to hide from our guests and allow myself to get ready for the ceremony but that didn't happen. I ended up in the downstairs restroom fixing my hair and dress.

From the minute you drive into the place, it sets the scene for a fabulous wedding. Their food was great! Jen C. was great to work with. She was very detailed and made the day flow smoothly. INCREDIBLE!!!My husband and I cannot say enough about the service we received in planning and executing everything for our ceremony and reception at Old Hickory Golf Club. Veronica was amazing and took the time to answer all of our questions. She assured us that she would be there day of event to make sure that everything was set up perfect and that everything went the way we had envisioned it! We both were pleasantly surprised when we arrived and everything we had discussed and planned was set up beyond our expectations. Veronica and her staff had set up all of our table decorations, place cards, signs and more to make our room look beautiful. We personally recommend Old Hickory to everyone who is considering a location for a wedding, without a doubt they know what they are doing. When we say everything was perfect we mean everything; food, drinks, servers, room set up, ceremony site and restrooms. The managers on duty were there to help with anything you needed day of and always had a smile. We went with the plated dinner and it ended up being the best wedding food we have ever had!!! Our appetizers (Deluxe Imported Cheese Display & Mini Beef Wellingtons) were tasty and then our late night snacks (Chicken Wings & Toasted Ravioli) were perfect. THANK YOU to Veronica and the staff at Old Hickory for everything, we give you all 5+ stars!!!

I'm so glad that I decided to have my wedding at Old Hickory! Jen and the rest of the staff were so professional and courteous, they helped me with any questions I had and made sure that everything came out just the way I envisioned it. Not only was the staff great but the food was so delicious and you could not ask for a better scenery with the trees and the lakes. My guests are still talking about it weeks later! Overall, I would definitely recommend Old Hickory to any of my friends getting married or having nay events in the near future.

I wouldn't have changed a thing about my wedding at old hickory! We had a lot of freedom is what we could bring into the venue and what we could use for our outdoor ceremony. I didn't stress for a single minute the day of my wedding Jen champion, our wedding coordinator made sure everything was exactly as I planned. She was always friendly and available for all of my annnoyont questions :) my husband and I got so many compliments on the food and how beautiful and the ceremony was and the receptions area. We were married outside on the golf field and had our reception inside of old hickory. We also had our rehearsal dinner there the night before the wedding. Our room was set up before our rehearsal dinner was over. They let me peak in and see our room before we left which helped calm my nerves. Our wedding was exactly what we wanted and more!! Because we had our ceremony there we also had access to the bridal area. They had everything we could have needed and did forget lol. They had hair spray and a steamer for the dresses. Between my awesome team at old hickory and my family I didn't worry about a thing! Thank you Jen for all you and old hickory did to make our wedding perfect!

My wedding was perfect! From the scenic outdoor ceremony by the lake, to the reception on the patio, followed by a wonderful brunch in the ballroom, the day was spectacular. Veronica and her team couldn’t do enough to try to please us, from the start of planning until the end of the wedding day. I would absolutely recommend Old Hickory and would happily plan another even there in the future.

Old Hickory is an absolutely beautiful wedding venue. Jen and ALL the staff were outstanding...polite, professional and handled every detail to perfection. My son and his new wife were married on the golf course, and the reception immediately followed in the beautifully decorated club house. We also held our rehearsal dinner in their facility which was a great convenience. I would highly recommend Old Hickory...they did not disappoint!

Old Hickory was an easy choice for us because it is where my father golfs, but it surpassed our highest expectations. Not only is Old Hickory such a beautiful place, but our wedding reception went off without a hitch. The food was amazing...many friends said it was the best wedding food they'd ever eaten; and Jen had everything organized so that it ran perfectly. During the planning phase, she was so calming and reassuring that I had no reason to stress or worry. I was so grateful for her as a wedding coordinator as she thought of details I'd not yet even considered and took care of communicating with the other vendors as well. The room was completely transformed and we had the time of our lives. Old Hickory will hold a special place in my heart.

I had a great experience working with everyone at Old Hickory. I was planning from out of town and Jennifer, our planner, worked through all of the trouble this brought (I literally did my tasting and final prep via Skype!). This venue is a great value for the price. They allow for you to bring in outside vendors but if you are out of state or in a hurry they have great recommendations and can do almost everything for you. At the end of the night it was taking a while to get everyone out of the venue but the staff was still friendly and helpful despite being exhausted. I couldn't recommend Old Hickory more! \r

My family and I were extremely happy we chose Old Hickory as our venue for the reception. We originally started out with one wedding coordinator, but then she moved out of state, and we were placed with a different one, Veronica. We were hesitant at first, because it was only two months before the wedding, but she did an absolutely fantastic job picking things up where they were left off. She greatly exceeded our expectations and any special requests were no big deal to her. Even leading closely up to the wedding with multiple count changes and meal changes, she handled it extremely smoothly. The night of the reception everything was in place as we wanted it to be, I even made a few requests that they graciously allowed without any problems. We received several comments on how beautiful the room looked and how delicious the food tasted. Throughout the evening Veronica and other staff members were extremely attentive to anything that we needed. It was seriously the most perfect reception, there were not any errors. I am so thankful and happy we found such a perfect venue. They even let us walk out under a sparkler exit, which was one of the many high lights of the evening!! And our pictures at sunset are breathtaking!! Our photographer told us they are their favorite sunset pictures they have ever taken, so perfect location for those!

This is the best place to give you the princess reception you have always wanted! They were so professional and worked so well with my rest of my vendors I didn't have to worry about a thing- they made sure everything went smoothly. They decorated it so beautifully and the balcony was a big hit with the guests as well. The food was honestly the best wedding food I have ever had and many of my guests told me the same. I have yet to find a place that can compete with my wedding venue!

I have no complaints about Old Hickory. We had our June Reception there, and everything beginning with the first email I sent, to the end of the reception was perfect. The day of went perfectly (if anything went wrong - we didn't notice!) and I recommend Old Hickory for your reception. The view from the room (we had Magnolia + Azaela) was breathtaking! DO NOT have a reception here. Some genius decided it would be a good idea to put the band from the room next door right on the dividing wall, the bleed over was terrible, the manager did NOTHING about it, the groom from the other room came over to wish us well, immediately noticed it and said he was so sorry and went over to tell them to turn it down, it was too late, most of our guests already left. The next day the planner apologized and said our email outlining what happen was forwarded to her manager. 2 months later and we still haven't gotten an apology out of him. We spent over $25,000 on that evening to have it shot to crap the last 2.5 hours. Parking was terrible to, because they were having 2 weddings that evening some of our guests had to park off the golf course side and walk, no one in golf carts shuttling people from their cars to the building, for either wedding and it was over 100 degrees with the humidity.

DO NOT have a reception here. Some genius decided it would be a good idea to put the band from the room next door right on the dividing wall, the bleed over was terrible, the manager did NOTHING about it, the groom from the other room came over to wish us well, immediately noticed it and said he was so sorry and went over to tell them to turn it down, it was too late, most of our guests already left. The next day the planner apologized and said our email outlining what happen was forwarded to her manager. 2 months later and we still haven't gotten an apology out of him. We spent over $25,000 on that evening to have it shot to crap the last 2.5 hours. Old Hickory lived up to the wedding I had envisioned for years! They worked with me on my Italian theme and the food was nothing short of excellent. I requested the filet and salmon combo, fettucine and italian green beans. Many guests have reached out even after the wedding to compliment me on the venue and the food. The Club provided a warming/cozy fall setting!

Wow! Old Hickory sure knows how to make your day perfect. We want to do it again! The day ran so smooth and everything was taken care of by the workers. I feel like we were treated like royalty. The servers at the reception held our food in the warmers because people were talking to us, and they didn't want our food to get cold. Multiple people came to us to remind us to eat our cake (so we didn't miss out which I've heard a lot of people who forget this) and ask if we wanted a drink from the bar. I would recommend this venue to everyone! Rachel was always willing to answer all of my crazy emails and changes in plans. This place fills up fast, so just remember when you reserve your date to ask for a room to get ready in! We forgot this detail until a couple months before, and there wasn't a place for us at that time. Don't worry though, Rachel figured it out so it was still perfect!! Oh, and the pictures are gorgeous because of the background. LOVE THIS PLACE!

I used Old Hickory for my ceremony and reception this summer and everything was perfect!! The entire process from beginning to end was so easy. Rachel (event coordinator) was always available for questions and suggestions along the way. She made the planning process simple, all we had to do was let them know what we wanted and they took care of everything! The day of went so smoothly, from the minute we arrived until the night was over, the staff was amazing, super friendly and extremely helpful!! We received multiple compliments on how beautiful everything was, how great the food was and most importantly how fun the night was. Everything about the day was truly wonderful! I would highly recommend Old Hickory!!

Old Hickory was such a wonderful venue for our wedding reception. We had roughly 250 people for our reception. The bar in the foyer was stunning. They took care of everything. They set up anything and everything we asked. The food was amazing and so was the staff. Rachel the coordinator could not have done a better job of taking care of every last detail so we could enjoy every minute of our special day. We also got beautiful pictures on the grounds! I would not trade our experience here for anything!

We had our wedding reception at Old Hickory on May 10, 2014. We worked with Rachel and she was the best! She made so many wonderful suggestions for us, worked with us on everything we wanted and made the whole thing such a great experience. She also made some great recomendations for us for our invitations, DJ and florist and they were all amazing. I couldn't believe how stunning the room looked the night of the reception - we have received so many compliments on the food, drinks, location and service that was provided. We could not have been more pleased with choosing Old Hickory. Such an up scale atmosphere for a reasonable price.

Our guests had drinks and appetizers on the deck while the wedding party finished pictures under the trees. The staff at Old Hickory made this a prefect day for our family. We looked for months for a reasonably priced venue. I have to say that this was worth EVERY PENNY SPENT! Your personal wedding planner does an amazing job working with you to make your vision happen and will let you know expenses up front, which a lot of places around St. Louis do not do. The day of our event went without a hitch and was set up exactly how I visioned it would be. They gave great recommendations about other area vendors to use. For what Old Hickory provides you with, you get your money's worth.
