I give Olde Sycamore a perfect 10! Gretchen and her staff worked seamlessly to make my daughter's wedding reception fabulous and fun for all, including a stressed-out mother-of-the-bride. As soon as I arrived at the reception at Olde Sycamore, my stress disappeared and I was able to relax and enjoy the party. From our first meeting, Gretchen was extremely helpful planning our event. She helped us in so many ways including guiding us through the reception planning process, choosing the correct food and drink amounts and even stepping in to help us figure out how to bustle my daughter's wedding dress so she could get on the dance floor. Gretchen even took a last-minute, on-the-spot order of 6 plates of chicken strips and fries for our 6 flower girls and ring bearer. I had completely forgotten to order kid-friendly food, and Gretchen and her staff provided it 15 minutes after my request. The children were very happy with their food! The bar and kitchen staff were very efficient. They provided friendly service and expertly navigated the room tending to our guests and clearing plates quickly and unobtrusively. Olde Sycamore provided a beautiful setting for wedding photographs. The wooden bridge and trellis outside as well as the lovely lighting and decor inside were perfect backdrops for memorable wedding photos. Gretchen and her staff worked with my florist to set up our elaborate decorations, and the club staff was extremely helpful with a quick cleanup after the party. Olde Sycamore was the best venue we could have selected. The food was delicious and received lots of compliments. The price was better than anything I found in the entire Charlotte area. I was able to provide my guests a beautiful location, excellent food and plenty of drinks for a fraction of the cost of other locations. Gretchen worked great with my other vendors and everything fell nicely into place. I highly recommend Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation for any event!

We got married at Olde Sycamore a little over 2 months ago. Every step of the planning process - from room setup ideas to food tasting to the day of the event - was an absolute dream. Gretchen was on top of everything and really made this potentially stressful part of wedding planning SO easy for us. She and her staff are wonderful!!

Gretchen the special events manager is great, serves as the included day of coordinator and does your decorating. This venue is pretty, budget friendly for the area and has good food.

We could not have asked for a more perfect venue. Olde Sycamore easily had the best prices of any venues we viewed and they were amazing. The event coordinator at Olde Sycamore, Gretchen, was helpful from the very first meeting. She helped to make sure that I was happy with every detail from the food to the seating chart and decorations. The staff even set up our centerpieces so we wouldn't have to the morning of! The food was phenomenal and we had tons of compliments! The venue is gorgeous and all of the staff were awesome. We highly recommend Olde Sycamore!
