We had our wedding 9/9/23 at the Omni Parker House and could not be more thrilled with our decision. From the moment we met Richard on our first venue tour, I knew that we could trust him with our wedding. Throughout the entire planning process, we relied on him for his expertise and opinion on everything from timeline, meal choices, and beyond. I asked him no shortage of questions and he was so incredibly patient with me. Once we got closer to the wedding, he coordinated logistics with our vendors and on the day of the wedding, made sure that my vision was executed to perfection. We had a gorgeous bridal suite that was included in the package that completely exceeded any expectation I had. It was more than enough room for my 9 bridesmaids and four hair/makeup vendors, and felt like such a luxurious place to stay the entire weekend!The hotel staff was also AMAZING. Everyone was raving about how nice and kind everyone was. Pedro (the banquet manager) was incredible to work with. Throughout the night he checked in on us and updated us about what was coming next. Our guests also continue to come up to us, months after the wedding, telling us how delicious the food was! For a couple like us who wanted to get married in Boston, the Omni Parker House was the absolutely perfect venue. Our wedding day was beyond our wildest dreams. Our pictures in the hotel, across the street and in the Public Gardens are so special, and the hotel itself captures the Boston charm that we love so much. The ballroom is not just like any hotel ballroom - it's so unique and beautiful. We truly could not recommend this venue and the incredible staff enough!!

Richard and everyone at the Omni were wonderful to work with from planning to the day of the event. We were so happy with how the event was coordinated and it absolutely surpassed our expectations. The food was great, the ballroom looked beautiful and the bellmen and event staff made everyone feel so welcome. It was amazing. Highly recommend if you want to get married in Downtown Boston. They are very reasonably priced for all that they offer. They really treated us with white glove service during your wedding weekend and they were very flexible to help accommodate all the requests that we had for our wedding.Additionally, the history that comes along with the Omni Parker and the Boston Crème Pie dessert option allows for a unique wedding experience that you really can't get at a lot of other hotels. Lastly the ballroom, ceremony rooms and hotel itself is gorgeous. We had inclement weather the day of our wedding but were able to capture a lot of stunning pictures inside the hotel.

WOW! What an incredible venue. My husband and I recently got married there on August 26th. Mauricio, Richard, Pedro, and all of the Omni Parker staff were unbelievable, dealing with everything for our special day, from planning to execution. Every detail was covered and the staff were attentive to every guest's needs. The bride had a beautiful bridal suite where all the bridesmaids got ready and the boys had access to Parker's Bar for photos and breakfast the day of the wedding. Guests were RAVING about the size of the filet and the lamb chops. Everything was delicious. Our 140 guests perfectly filled the ballroom and had enough space surrounding them. There are not enough words to describe our beautiful day at the Parker House, but if you are looking for an elegant, timeless, historic Boston wedding, this is the place to do it!

Every detail was covered and the staff were attentive to every guest's needs. The bride had a beautiful bridal suite where all the bridesmaids got ready and the boys had access to Parker's Bar for photos and breakfast the day of the wedding. Guests were RAVING about the size of the filet and the lamb chops. Everything was delicious. Our 140 guests perfectly filled the ballroom and had enough space surrounding them. There are not enough words to describe our beautiful day at the Parker House, but if you are looking for an elegant, timeless, historic Boston wedding, this is the place to do it!

It was a sincere pleasure working with Teri and the team at the Omni Parker House. We are so, so grateful we chose this venue for our 150-person classic winter wedding. The site itself is so beautiful and historic, with plenty of fun details to entertain our guests. It was an evening winter wedding during a storm, but there were so many beautiful places to take portraits, and their holiday decorations were very tasteful yet festive. We had our ceremony in the press room and it was perfect for the guests who could then just venture up to cocktail hour and the reception all in one place. This was great not only for our older guests, but also allowed our vendors to have more time with us and less time devoted to traveling from site to site for setup. We were able to take tons of photos with our loved ones in different areas while staying dry and cozy in our black tie attire! We loved the extra details the Parker House adds to the special day for the comfort of the bridal party, whether it be plenty of photogenic and roomy getting ready areas to use for the different groups, or the good luck toast for the bridal party in the adjacent room prior to the ceremony, or the private cocktail hour for them to refresh at in a separate room from the main guests so they can take a breather before the reception. We thought the Parker House considered their comfort in many steps along the way and we appreciated that for our closest friends. We stayed in the Parker suite for our wedding weekend and it was wonderfully large and was the perfect place to meet guests the day before and after before they traveled home. We are very grateful to the staff for being so attentive to our needs and checking on us frequently for cleaning and refreshing throughout the stay. We are also very grateful they allowed us to stay up late with some of our guests that night in the room, savoring the night and time with those who flew from California to be there with us!Everyone from the front desk to the bellmen to the cleaning staff to the servers at the wedding reception were incredibly friendly, skilled and talented with their work, and helpful to us during our entire stay. They made us feel special when we were there, and they linger in our minds as we think back on the wonderful weekend, and we feel very lucky to have worked with them. Teri was so wonderful to work with, I cannot overstate that. When we were touring our selection of venues in Boston with my sister, our immediate comfort and confidence in Teri was one of the main deciding factors in our booking the venue. She is an asset to the Parker House Team. I had many questions throughout the planning process and she was so quick to communicate back with us when we emailed her, so accommodating to our requests, and so calming and helpful about everything. This made such a huge impact on the planning process for me. My whole family enjoyed meeting her during the tasting meeting and they also went out of their way after to tell me how great it was to have Teri on our team! We cannot thank you enough!

This is a long post, so bear with me! But if you’re on the fence, of choosing a venue, hopefully this will help you see what an incredible venue/organization Omni Parker House is! When my now husband, Jon, and I were looking at venues in Boston in 2019, we quickly became defeated. Even with a decent budget, our dream of a city wedding didn’t seem realistic. Jon still set up tours at every Boston venue with the hope that maybe we could make something work. The moment I stepped foot into the Omni Parker House, I fell in love. It's absolutely stunning and has a rich history that sets it apart from other hotel venues. I was certain that we would never be able to afford a venue like it, but somehow, not only did it fall within our budget, but it included so much! The staff at Omni Parker House made us feel like valued customers even before any contracts were signed. They were professional & accommodating, allowing for my parents who live out of town to be involved with every step of the process. The high standards that the Omni Parker House possesses put us at ease in knowing our wedding would be top quality. We scheduled our 225 person wedding for July 2020. And then COVID hit and we were forced to postpone our wedding for a year. Throughout this time, the staff at Omni Parker House kept us informed of any info they received about reopening and guidelines almost immediately. Therefore, we always felt in the loop, even if it were simply an update saying that they had no updates. As our date was quickly approaching, we visited the Omni Parker House where we reviewed what our wedding day would look like. Boston’s guidelines were stricter than the state’s guidelines, and while they were put into place to ensure everyone’s health & safety, it didn’t make for a “fun” wedding. Our disappointment and stress was at an all-time high knowing our 225-person (even 100-person), city wedding was out of the question. The Omni Parker House worked with us to create any solutions to create a more enjoyable wedding that still adhered to the health guidelines, but their hands were tied. In knowing that they wouldn’t be able to provide the wedding experience we had hoped for (through NO fault of their own), the Omni Parker House offered us a full refund to put towards another venue outside of the city that could allow for more people. In hearing about other venues/vendors who charged astronomical fees for rescheduling weddings that were originally scheduled to happen in the height of the pandemic/lockdown, we were certain that switching venues would be out of the question…however, Omni Parker House OFFERED this to us. If that doesn’t speak to the their level of customer service, I don’t know what does! The fact that a company who could have easily just kept our money, forcing us cut down our guest list from 225 people to 60 and have a wedding that we wouldn’t be completely satisfied with, but chose not to, is a testament to their strong commitment to customer satisfaction. I truly cannot thank the staff of Omni Parker House enough for investing their time and service with us. While we weren’t able to have our “dream city wedding”, Omni Parker House allowed us the opportunity to have a wedding that we could share with all of our friends and family which was the most important aspect of the day for us. If you want a beautiful wedding and a team that will do anything to ensure you have the wedding of your dreams, I cannot recommend Omni Parker House enough!

Our wedding at the Parker House was amazing! We got married last April and had both the ceremony and the reception at the hotel. The Parker House is so elegant and we loved learning about all of the history behind the hotel. Amanda was our coordinator and she was fantastic. We were planning the wedding from out of state but she was great about answering all of my questions and made us feel so comfortable. The day of our wedding went by too fast but we loved every minute of it! There were really only a couple things that came up after the wedding that I was not so pleased with. The first was that the hotel misplaced some of the decorations we had brought in. We were told they would box it all up at the end of the night and then we could pick everything up in the lobby within a few days after the wedding. We got almost everything back but there were various items like LED candles and the card plate we used that somehow got lost and we never got back. Luckily it was nothing expensive or sentimental. The second issue was that they wrapped up the rest of our Boston Cream Pie wedding cake and delivered it to my parents room after the reception, but the room didn't have a refrigerator so it sat out all night and then they were told the next morning that it might not be safe to eat so they had to throw it away. Other than that our wedding day was incredible and we're so happy we were able to get married there!

I cannot begin to express our gratitude that my husband and I have to the Omni Parker House and to Amanda, our coordinator. We had a two year engagement, which means that we spent a LOT of time communicating with Amanda and frequenting the venue. I was very concerned with the amount of people we invited (214), but Amanda assured us that the evening would flow smoothly. She encouraged us to visit the venue during weddings with a similar number of guests and was always there to greet us when we arrived (even though I am sure she had more pressing duties given that she was coordinating the weddings.). We ended up having 198 guests and I truly feel it was the perfect amount. From the flow of the cocktail hour in the Wheatley Terrace to the set up of the tables in the ballroom - everything was perfect! We met with Amanda on a few occasions and, when a potential problem occurred, she worked with us to offer solutions and always gave us the utmost confidence that the day would be everything we hoped for - and she was right! Everything was beyond our wildest dreams and she made our vision come to life. I didn't have to worry about organizing my vendors because Amanda reached out to them all and coordinated details with them. When my trolley and limo arrived to the Parker House after the church, Amanda and a few other wonderful people from the staff greeted us to welcome us all and take care of anything we needed. Everyone truly went above and beyond and we could not be more appreciative. We wanted a classic city wedding and the Omni Parker House made this possible. All of the history within the walls of the gorgeous hotel and the amazing views of the city from the rooftop ballroom were a few of the many reasons we chose it as our reception destination. Having a longer engagement meant that we made frequent stops to the Parker House - whether for dinner or drinks ... or to just visit and count down the days - and it has become such a special place to us. There is no other venue like it in Boston and we are so grateful to have been able to celebrate such a special time in our lives at such a special place in history. Thank you to Amanda and the wonderful staff at the Omni Parker House for making our wedding a night we (and our guests!) will remember forever.

If you are less detail oriented, you may have some issues with the hotel’s internal organization and the day of execution. We had to remind our coordinator several times which menu selections we wanted as well as several other details. At times, it felt like I was proofing her work instead of getting the support I needed. We also had issues with check in, welcome bag delivery, and guest’s meal selections. I cannot say it was a smooth planning process, but I can say that in the end our wedding was gorgeous and I would go through all the headache again.

Our wedding at the Omni Parker House could not have gone any better. Every single person that we interacted with was helpful and knowledgeable. Alison our coordinator was always quick to respond and was always able and willing to help. Jamie was so great working with us on the room block for our many out of town guests. On the day of Alison and Elaine the banquette manager made everything perfect. They listened to our wants and needs and were so good to us during our stay. Everyone says that something always goes wrong on your wedding day and I can say if it did we had no idea because they handled everything so perfectly. We couldn't have asked for a better team and venue.

We had an absolutely perfect wedding at the Omni Parker House at the end of April. It went far beyond our expectations, and was truly a day to remember.We booked the Parker House for our wedding date about 16 months in advance after meeting with Alison for a tour. The venue was lovely, and we could tell that Alison would be amazing to work with. After signing our contract, Alison was there to answer any questions we had while we organized our big day. It was unbelievably helpful to have her there for us, and she was always so responsive.We had a meeting with Alison and Elaine two days before the wedding, where they made sure that every detail was organized. Both were on site for our rehearsal and could not have been more helpful organizing our wedding party. On the day of the wedding, we booked the Dickens room for the girls to get hair and makeup done, and ordered from the hotel catering menu. Everything was delicious! The staff did a great job making sure we had everything we needed in the room.Alison met me at my hotel room and brought me down to the mezzanine level for our first look in the Dickens mirror. It was a wonderful suggestion of hers for the first look, and a moment that we will never forget.We had our ceremony in the Press room, and the set up by the hotel could not have been more lovely. Every detail was arranged. The same was true for the cocktail hour space. I cannot say enough good things about the Alcott ballroom. Our pictures of the room are stunning, and our guests were so impressed with what an incredible job the Parker House did both in setting up the room and in providing exceptional service during the meal. Thank you to Elaine for making sure that we were able to eat every course! The reception was a blast, and it was because of the amazing job Alison and Elaine did to organize everything.There are so many people to thank for a perfect wedding. The entire Parker House staff was so sweet, and everyone was excited for us and so helpful. Thank you to Eddie who helped bring in our overflowing carload of wedding boxes and for making us laugh as we somehow managed to fit it all in the carts. Thank you to the front desk staff for being so kind. Thank you to the reception staff for making sure that each guest had a wonderful meal. And a few special thank yous. Thank you to Seamus, who made us feel like we were old friends. You went above and beyond for us and for our guests, even bringing birthday cakes to two of our guests who were celebrating birthdays during the wedding weekend. Thank you to Elaine for running a flawless ceremony and reception. And a big thank you to Alison, who provided more help than I could ever say, and was such a source of support and guidance throughout the planning process. We will treasure our memories of our wedding at the Parker House.

My husband and I wanted the perfect winter wedding in the city. We looked at numerous hotels and fell in love with the \"winter\" feel that the Omni Parker House had during the holidays. During our search, we met with a lot of wedding coordinators who were trying to \"sell us\" their space - and to my husband and I, there is nothing worse than that. Amanda McCarthy was the complete opposite and she was nothing short of amazing to work with - she was exactly what we needed. She did not throw us a sales pitch which we really appreciated right off the bat. Most importantly. she sold us on the Omni by being practical and helping make the process as easy as possible. A lot goes into planning a wedding and Amanda made it extremely easy for us. She was always reachable, helpful, practical, and most importantly, patient. She made our night so beyond special and my family and I have her to thank. Any adjustment or \"tweek\" that we wanted for our wedding was never a problem. She worked within her team to have everything just the way we wanted it. We never had to follow-up on emails, as she was constantly keeping us updated. I will forever recommend this hotel to couples looking for a wedding venue not only because of the beauty and hidden history behind it, but for Amanda. She is the reason why our wedding was the most amazing day of our lives.

We could not have been happier with our venue choice! Alison was our coordinator and she made the whole process seamless and efficient. Everything we asked for was done to perfection and our guests were thrilled as well. Everyone we dealt with at Omni was amazing, Jamie kept our room block organized and Linda was there to help with the rehearsal and wedding day events. We had the added stress of a snow storm on our wedding day but everything went smoothly. Our Ceremony was at Omni as well, I would definitely recommend this venue for both.

Looking for a perfect Boston wedding venue? Look no further than the Omni Parker House. From day 1 of our planning process the OMH exceeded all of our expectations. For a Boston Wedding venue in December we felt the price was very reasonable and included so much! Clare, our wedding coordinator was a-mazing. She is professional, creative, flexible and left no stone unturned. It snowed the day of our wedding (and was very cold) and Clare literally got out in the middle of the road to stop traffic so that my dress was protected and we made it safely to our first look spot at Old City Hall. We truly had the wedding of our dreams and we owe it all to her! Jamie at the Omni is also great and worked with us on our room block and day-of coordination. If you are looking for a historical, unique Boston wedding venue this is the place! We walked away with the most beautiful photos in front of the entrance and across the street at Old City Hall and a wonderful experience that we will always remember! Our guests had a blast and said nothing but wonderful things about the food, the ambiance, the service and the hotel stay! THANK YOU OMH!

Our experience with the Omni Parker House could not have been better. We worked with Alison Rose and she was absolutely wonderful - a top notch professional. From our first meeting, Alison made every part of planning pleasant and seamless. She was responsive, accommodating, helpful and really alleviated a lot of the last-minute and day-of stress. She checked in with all of our vendors on our behalf and made sure everyone was where they needed to be on the big day! (This was super helpful because we did not use a day-of wedding planner). We had our cocktail hour and reception in the ballroom and it was amazing; a real dream come true type of experience. The setting up there is bright and beautiful and the space was the perfect size for our wedding (just under 200 people). The food was absolutely delicious, too!We also worked with Jamie on our room block and she was so helpful and patient with all of the questions and last minute changes from our guests. The Omni is truly a special place. We HIGHLY recommend this venue!

During our wedding weekend, Alison made sure that everything was flawless. I did not worry about a single detail in the ballroom because I knew it would all be perfect and it was. We worked with Kasey on our guest room block and she also was extremely helpful in making sure that we had the rooms that we needed and was very responsive whenever we had questions or wanted an update on our block. Alison was so patient with all of our questions and emails. They worked with us on budget too. We were able to have our entire weekend of wedding celebrations (welcome cocktail hour, getting ready time, reception, and day after breakfast) at the hotel and still stay within our budget. They handled all of the set up and break down, the tables looked great, the rooms were beautiful. Every one of us guests raved about what a great time they had, not just at the wedding, but at the hotel too. The menu options were great and the sea bass was delicious! I just cannot say enough about how great our wedding weekend was and I am so grateful to the monumental help that OPH provided us. I would HIGHLY recommend OPH without any doubts to anyone looking to have a wedding in Boston. It was just so fabulous!

I’m not even sure where to begin, because the Omni was literally the answer to our prayers. All we wanted was a beautiful, downtown wedding in the city and were having so much trouble finding a venue that was not outrageously expensive. The Omni was so willing to work with us in every way, and we settled on a Sunday in April. The best word to describe what we got was: class. The service was extraordinary, the venue stunning and the flow was flawless. We had several guests with dietary restrictions, which they handled impeccably (our guests went out of their way to tell us how well the staff treated them). The venue itself was so gorgeous that we barely needed to bring anything in, and truly encompassed our classy/romantic/upscale theme. Our planner Clare was so on top of everything, and she was a blast to work with. She would periodically check in with me and ask what I was working on, and if there was anything she could do to help. As an event planner in another life, I’d often email her on a Monday with a slew of random questions, which she would answer quickly and thoroughly. When my dad wanted a specific wine for the wedding, she contacted the distributor to ensure it could be brought in for no extra cost. When my mother-in-law wanted to ensure her family’s guest rooms could be near each other, she and Kasey were all over it. When my husband and I came back to our suite post-after party, we were welcomed by a bottle of my favorite champagne and a sweet note from Clare. Aside from actually getting married (!!!), the most important thing for us was ensuring the flow of the day went well, and our guests got a top-notch experience and the Omni Parker House delivered on every single aspect.

The Omni was so willing to work with us in every way, and we settled on a Sunday in April. The best word to describe what we got was: class. The service was extraordinary, the venue stunning and the flow was flawless. We had several guests with dietary restrictions, which they handled impeccably (our guests went out of their way to tell us how well the staff treated them). The venue itself was so gorgeous that we barely needed to bring anything in, and truly encompassed our classy/romantic/upscale theme. Our planner Clare was so on top of everything, and she was a blast to work with. She would periodically check in with me and ask what I was working on, and if there was anything she could do to help. As an event planner in another life, I’d often email her on a Monday with a slew of random questions, which she would answer quickly and thoroughly. When my dad wanted a specific wine for the wedding, she contacted the distributor to ensure it could be brought in for no extra cost. When my mother-in-law wanted to ensure her family’s guest rooms could be near each other, she and Kasey were all over it. When my husband and I came back to our suite post-after party, we were welcomed by a bottle of my favorite champagne and a sweet note from Clare. Aside from actually getting married (!!!), the most important thing for us was ensuring the flow of the day went well, and our guests got a top-notch experience and the Omni Parker House delivered on every single aspect.

We had an incredible experience working with the Omni Parker House, and specifically their Director of Catering (David), Banquet Manager (Elaine) and Catering Coordinator (Kasey.) Our wedding rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, a pre-wedding meet and greet, wedding ceremony, wedding reception and a post-wedding brunch were all held at the Omni, and the convenience of having all of these events on site in addition to lodging was so appreciated by our guests. Every need of ours and our guests was quickly met with pleasure throughout the course of our wedding weekend. The Omni worked with us to ensure we had enough rooms for our various events, as well as designated areas to take photos in, compile welcome bags, etc. Absolutely everyone at the Omni from the bartenders, to the bellhops, to the Guest Service Manager (Seamus) treated myself and my now husband, as well as our family's and guests as old friends who they were happy to see, host and help. The Omni Parker House is simply gorgeous, and has such a regal yet intimate feel to it. The Press Room was just perfect for our ceremony, and the Rooftop Ballroom made for a scenic and memorable reception. The food was incredible, the service was phenomenal, and a good time was had by all.

The Omni Parker House was the perfect location for our classic Boston wedding. We worked with Alison to plan everything-- not only was she extremely responsive and helpful, but they worked with us A LOT to make the wedding more affordable while still making sure that we had everything we wanted. (Less dinner, more dancing :)) A couple of weeks before the wedding we had a number of changes-- we had guests drop out, we decided to add a slideshow during the reception in the foyer, etc. Alison took care of everything without issue. On the day of the wedding, the menus that I had created on zazzle (which zazzle messed up the first time) were delivered to my work address. At that point I told everyone not to worry about it-- it's just menus, everyone's going to eat, no big deal. Still, Alison arranged for a member of her staff to go down to my office and pick up the menus (luckily I work downtown.) I was also shocked because at the cocktail hour and reception there was a banquet manager there in addition to Alison. She introduced herself to us (I am so embarrassed to have forgotten her name) and was constantly tending to my husband and me. She overheard him say at the cocktail hour that he was trying to make his way over to get some lobster bisque, and seconds later was at his side with a cup of bisque, and a handful of the other hors d'oeuvres so that we didn't have to walk through the sea of guests to get to the food. She later spotted a guest at our table whose meal had not come out and literally went into the kitchen, got his dinner, and served him herself. EVERYTHING at the Omni went absolutely perfectly. I really couldn't believe it. Five stars and a perfect choice for your wedding!

We fell in love with this hotel from the moment we walked in. The history is spectacular, and it is so grand and beautiful. From the moment we started working with the coordinator, every detail was taken care of. She always got back to us within a few hours - definitely no longer than a day, and always had professional and satisfying answers to our questions. The food at the tasting was amazing and we were especially impressed when the chef came out to meet us. The coordinator wrote down every detail and we felt like every last thing would be taken care of perfectly. The attention to detail was very impressive. The only complaint we had was that on the day of the wedding, our coordinator was very scarce. We only saw her right before the ceremony and then again once during the reception. Another woman was there for the entire ceremony and reception, but we didn't meet her until the rehearsal dinner. I have to admit that my first impression of her was not great - but, I think that was because I had already worked out every detail with the other coordinator. In the end, the second coordinator was awesome! I just wish that they had told us so that I would have known what to expect. My impression (and the wording on the contract) made me think that the coordinator would be there to help us with whatever we needed on the day of the wedding and this was not what happened. The other thing was that the cocktail hour provided for the wedding party was not what we expected. We had been told that there would be plenty of food and drink, and we had to ask for more of both. These were truthfully the only details that were not PERFECT. The food was great- many people complemented us afterward. And the vendors that they worked with were awesome as well - we couldn't have been happier with the cake baker, the rental company etc. All and all, we were very impressed!

The location was nice and central to a lot of things. However, it was college move in weekend and it make driving in and maneuvering difficult. When we arrived after 3, after the stated check-in time, our room wasn't ready and they said it would take another hour or two. After explaining we had a rehearsal dinner to get ready for, they scrambled to find a room for us- away from the rest of the wedding guests. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful.\rAfter the ceremony, 100+ wedding guests waited in a narrow hallway trying to squeeze into elevators. We ended up taking all 13 flights of stairs to get to the rooftop. Once there, we didn't realize the cocktail hour was split between 2 different locations until the very end so we didn't get to see as many people. \rDuring the reception, our food was cold (most likely due to the wedding itself being behind schedule) but the wait-staff was very nice except for the bartenders. When I went up with my BIL to get a drink and I asked the bartender how her night was going, she replied \"not so good, I can't wait for this wedding to be over.\" I was so shocked to get a response like this! And throughout the night, the two bartenders were just rude and complaining to each other right in front of guests.\rOverall, it was one of the nicer venues I have been to. The views were impressive, even on a rainy night.

It was a dream come true to get married at the Parker House. It has the only rooftop ballroom in Boston so guests were able to enjoy views of the harbor and the skyline. The location was centralized and convenient. The room itself was perfect: elegant and not too overdone like many of the venues we looked at. The food was amazing. People have told me it was the best \"wedding food\" they have ever had. No one left hungry. The staff was accommodating and, even though they do many weddings, I felt like I was a priority to them. Jennifer Nicholson, our sales manager, was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end--gracefully answering our many questions and ensuring everything was in perfect order and happened on the day-of. My husband(!) and our families have heard constantly since the wedding how amazing the food and service was (and I can't say this is the case at most weddings we attend.) Everyone from the bellhops to the servers (Mehidy is the best!) to the event staff made the experience so perfect. We cannot wait to celebrate anniversaries and other events here for years to come.

The new renovated ballroom is beautiful. We stayed in one of their suites that night as well and the rooms are great. Lots of historic Boston charm. There is so much history and character concentrated under one roof that there is no competitor to this place in Boston. It was the first venue that we looked at and it was the best one. Although we looked at about 10 other places, we kept going back to Omni. Jennifer and all staff made us feel truly special and comfortable from the day one. Jennifer is absolutely fantastic. She helped us and advise us with pretty much everything we asked: from food choices to DJ selection. Omni staff was very flexibile and adaptive to our wishes and budget that allowed us to have fantastic wedding without going broke.\r\rEvery single guest said how awesome the place and the service was. \r\rwe love this venue and most likely celebrate our anniversaries there.

The newly renovated Rooftop Ballroom at the Omni Parker House offers a truly Bostonian setting for a wedding reception. The staff at the Parker House was professional, calm, and very easy to work with. Although expensive, I think the Parker House was more reasonable than similar city venues and allows you to really customize your wedding reception to fit your style and budget.

We loved working with the Omni and all they did to make our event so special. Our guests keep telling us how beautiful the ballroom and hotel were too! They are expensive, but you pay for the best quality, amazing food, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional service.

I could not have asked for a more beautiful place for my wedding! Even though it was pricey, I fell in love with it from the moment I walked in, and it did not disappoint while planning and during the reception. Our coordinator, Jennifer, was awesome and so accommodating, I don't know if I could have gotten through it with out her! She was always easy to contact and quick to respond, even with last minute requests that might have been troublesome (adding guests, changing table sizes, etc). The amazing staff plus the beautiful decor and views from the rooftop ballroom made this a night to remember!

I could not have asked for a more beautiful place for my wedding! Our coordinator, Jennifer, was awesome and so accommodating, I don't know if I could have gotten through it with out her! My husband and I wanted to celebrate our wedding in a place that spoke of old world romance while keeping it modern and the Omni Parker was the perfect place for that. Our wedding was held right after Christmas so the decorations were still up and the huge Christmas tree on the roof top ballroom definitely made a wonderful warm holiday statement. The food was pretty good although I never got to taste 3 of the selected hors d'oeuvres and that was a bit disappointing. Overall our wedding coordinator Alison did a great job capturing our vision however it did seem to take multiple emails to get a response on occasion. We also had guests from overseas cancel because of an illness in the family and also a impending snow storm and every time I emailed Alison seemed to avoid the question asked and bring up the fact that we needed more guests to make the minimum. This was pretty annoying since I was already stressed enough and it seemed all she cared about was the minimum spend. \r\rThe one star quality of service is due to the bartenders that night, I have had multiple guests tell me after the event how incredibly rude they were to guests the entire night. When you take the time and money to put together such a special event, the last comment you want to hear are complaints around being treated poorly by event staff. I will also say that the bartenders were even rude to me and when I asked his name he pointed to his name card and said \"it's right here, you can read\"...... This was at the very end of the night but I was pretty shocked, upset and did complain. I would say that unfortunately it was this experience that really made a wonderful night and what we wanted as wonderful memories a bit tainted but I would still recommend but only because the ball room is so beautiful and the food was pretty good. In all honestly, staff/server demeanor during a 5 hour party that costs over $20,000 should not even be a question.

The Parker House was perfect in every way. It has old world charm and service. Everything is top quality. My wedding coordinator took amazing care of us throughout the planning process and made everything easy. The Parker House is a package deal and at a great quality. It was wonderful to have everything taken care of (rooms, cake, food, beverage, cocktail hour, etc.) Any Boston wedding is going to be expensive, but the Parker House was the most reasonably priced and offered the most for the dollar. Many more expensive places were not as nice or did not provide as much. \r\rIf you like history, this is the place for you. Charles Dickens lived here, JFK proposed to Jackie O. here, every president of the United States has stayed here since it opened in the 1800s. Even Malcolm X and Ho Chi Minh worked here in their early years. \r\rI loved it and all my guests did, too. They keep telling me how wonderful the food was (filet mingnon with crab bernaise) and how beautiful everything was.

Working with Jennifer at Omni Parker was a delight. She is the perfect combination of laid back and detail oriented. The staff on the day of the wedding was wonderful. The hotel staff was very helpful to our many guests as well which was important to us as we had over 100 guests staying there.

Having my wedding at the Omni Parker House made it completely stress free. Jennifer Nicholson was such a professional. This was basically an \"idiot proof\" wedding meaning that, with such competent staff, with such a beautiful venue, and such delicious food, I couldn't mess it up if I tried. The setting was spectacular, the food and drink delectable, the entire process smooth and painless. There is nothing about my experience here that I would change.

I really didn't want a \"hotel\" wedding, but this place changed my mind!! Ask for coordinatots Jennifer Nicholon and Jacklyn Hart btw. They were both AMAZING, AMAZING, AMAZING! They made me feel like a friend, as opposed to a client! Spend the extra money and get the 15th Floor - with all of the rooms, you can create different settings! the food was was 5 star, they let us pick wine. 10 stars out of 5

The Omni Parker House was simply amazing!!! \r\rNot only did they make me as the bride feel like a princess, they made a point to recognize my grandmother, my sisters, my parents, and beyond! Every one of my guests were treated like royalty. \r\rThe food was INCREDIBLE...most people walk away from weddings hungry, not me! I was so full!!\r\rMy planner was amazing! She took care of every minute detail.\r\rI can't say enough about my experience.

The Omni Parker house was unbelievable through the entire wedding planning process, as well as the actual day of ceremony. The in-house wedding planners were extremely professional and prompt in getting back to me with any request I threw their way. In addition, the Parker House is a beautiful and historic hotel that it truly added to the theme of our wedding. Finally, the food was absolutely declicious, and all of the hotel staff helped the day run smoothly! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a gorgeous reception space with great service!

We worked with Maggie at the OPH to make our dream day come true. From the food, to the set up of the room, it was all perfect. All of our guests raved about the venue and how great the food was. If you're going to have a wedding at the OPH, definitely have it in the rooftop ballroom. The room decorates itself.\rWe were able to have a raw bar, extra dessert, and a milk shake/french fry bar as parts of our day. They did a great job! I fell in love with the history and the beauty of the place and the ballroom is breathtaking. It’s on its own floor and has a great view. We saw a lot of reception places before deciding and the Omni had a pretty competitive package- they’re upfront about extra fees and the taxes and gratuities are included in the quoted price which is nice. The hotel is great and you can’t beat the location for out of town guests. The whole hotel treated our guests well and although the rooms are small, they’re comfortable with all the amenities. And we had the most beautiful suite! That night, the staff was amazing-waiters, bartenders, valet staff-- they’re older and extremely professional and have been there for years (not a bunch of Summer help). My coordinator, Alison, was so calm, sweet and really helpful. She and Elaine helped everything run smoothly and even made sure we had a chance to eat- the food was awesome! They accommodated all of my requests. It was everything I wanted and more!!

OPH is the perfect location for a quintessential Boston wedding. The holidays are a wonderful time to be there. Our guests loved the food, the ambiance and the service from the staff. There were a few bumps in the planning process and at times we felt \"nickled and dimed\". But our wedding day went off without a hitch and was perfect! Great place for a service as well.
