If you want your wedding to be absolutely perfect, then pick the Omni Severin Hotel! Since day 1, they were extremely helpful and accommodating through every step of wedding planning. I live in Florida and planned my wedding long distance, but I never felt stressed about the venue, because Tamryn guided us through everything and was always available to answer any questions we had. I could tell that Tamryn wanted our wedding to be as perfect as we did and she made sure every detail was exactly as requested. My bridesmaids and I absolutely loved being able to get ready in the presidential suite and the guys had plenty of room in the boardroom to watch sports and relax until wedding time. Additionally, the Omni team went above and beyond to make sure our suite was decorated and felt incredibly romantic to end a perfect night! Our guests have been raving about our wedding since that day and they can’t stop talking about how incredible the food was, how friendly the staff members were, how beautiful and elegant the venue was, and how smooth the entire wedding evening went. Our guests told us that from the moment they walked in the door and were greeted by Matt, the awesome bellman, the entire weekend was relaxing and fun! We had over half of our guests come into Indianapolis from out of town and they loved the convenience of staying at the hotel and having a bar, coffee shop, and restaurant in the lobby. They also loved being in the heart of downtown and being able to walk to restaurants and activities. Our wedding was an absolute dream and if I could go back and do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing, I would pick Omni Severin Hotel every single time!

Our wedding at the Omni went amazing! The event coordinator and other staff were extremely helpful. They were quick at responding to questions and helped organize all the details for the big day. Their service on the day of the wedding was great as well. Highly recommend!

The OMNI was an absolute DREAM for our wedding. We had the most amazing coordinator, Caroline who I hope to continue a friendship with after our wedding. Not only is she incredibly kind and supportive, but she is AMAZING at her job. She showed so much excitement about the planning process with us and made us feel as if we were the only ones in the room! Caroline was very responsive and always had answers to any questions we asked. She is an incredible professional but had the best personality for this role. Everything during our day went exactly as planned, but she made it SO fun. Caroline also demonstrated a ton of respect and friendliness towards her coworkers who were instrumental in making our day special! thank you to Chef for the amazing meals and everyone at the OMNI! We would absolutely recommend getting married here!!

We had a fantastic wedding experience at the Omni, and would be happy to recommend it to others as well! The venue gave us the elegant and intimate style wedding we were hoping for. I could not be happier about our experience with the Omni. Everyone made us feel special from the initial meetings to the day after our wedding. Caroline was instrumental in making our day the best day of our lives. She has a calming presence, yet gets everything done in a timely manner. I was very happy to have her there on the day as well! She and the Omni were there to accommodate any request they could. I never felt silly asking any questions. The food was amazing (you always think it’s going to be better at the trial, the day of was just as good or better!).The venue itself is gorgeous. Being able to have everything in one place was a huge plus. They also provided some little things like table numbers, card box, etc which made it easier on us!Our guests seemed to love our venue and we received many compliments!!! I would not hesitate to have our wedding here again!

We had the best experience at the Omni with Caroline! She and all the staff at the hotel made the day and weekend so smooth and absolutely beautiful. They took care of us and made us feel at home from the second we checked in until the second we checked out. The Omni Severin Hotel was the perfect location for our wedding! We loved how the ceremony and reception area was in one location. We also loved how our guest could choose to stay at the hotel. The bridal suite was a dream! It was so nice to have all my bridesmaids stay with me the night before in one suite along with us being able to get ready in there the next morning. The location was beautiful and the food was very great as well! Tamryn was so awesome to work with and made the wedding planning process a breeze. It was so nice having Tamryn there at our wedding, we didn't have to worry about anything at all. We had 120 guests attend our wedding and it was the perfect size for the venue to have a more intimate feel. We highly recommend the Omni!

The Omni Severin Hotel was the perfect location for our wedding! We loved how the ceremony and reception area was in one location. We also loved how our guest could choose to stay at the hotel. By far our favorite vendor! The team at the Omni was always available and quick to provide answers and help. All of the staff, including those hotel staff outside of the wedding group, were incredibly hospitable during our wedding weekend and any time beforehand during preparations. The Omni Severin is truly the best Indiana has to offer for wedding venues and quite honestly can compete with any nationally acclaimed location. There are 3 factors that stood out to myself, my wife, our families and our guests:1 - The event space:The Omni is a beautiful hotel from the early 1900's that has a dream-like cinematic aesthetic. The beauty of the interior space from the grand piano, to the ornamented pillars, to the chandeliers, to the lighting itself makes you feel like you are a part of a nostalgic movie from decades ago. If you are thinking that other venues can achieve this look and feel, please reconsider the Omni for your event because there is something intangible about their space - I suspect its the tall, two-floor ceilings and large open space that makes it so welcoming for events like weddings. While other venues may have similar classical interiors, we noticed they lack the open space of the Omni, often with event rooms that are separated and segregated with unnecessary hallways, walls or low ceilings. The Omni is a beautiful space for weddings.2 - The food:We have attended many weddings and with each of them, the food is generic wedding food - usually over seasoned with sauces and garnish that add very little flavor. It is understandable since the vendor has to prepare the same dishes en masse. With the Omni, the food was superb. We received many compliments from our guests for how delicious the food was and we noticed that ourselves. The food was incredible and tasted like each dish was personally prepared for everyone.3 - The service:Good service is often subjective but we can say with all sincerity that the Omni provided the best service we could have asked for. In addition to accomplishing all the usual obligations as a wedding vendor, the Omni staff took every opportunity to improve our wedding experience. Most notable was the surprise they gave us on our wedding day when they had an upgraded suite become available, and they gave it to us at no extra charge. Additionally, the staff was especially inviting to us, our families and our guests. The staff members felt like our guests by the end of the evening thanks to their service, kindness, and even some participation on the dance floor when they could. It was enough for my father to write a special letter to the Omni thanking them for being so hospitable to all the guests. The Omni is a 10/10 for service and we would like to specifically thank our Omni representative, Caroline Steele, for leading the way on many of these decisions to accomodate us. If you're thinking of selecting the Omni Severin, do yourself a favor and ask for Ms Steele if she is still with the organization. She is an amazing professional and will always be a great friend of ours thanks to her amazing stewardship of our wedding weekend at the Omni.We understand that not every wedding is the same nor do they all turn out as well as ours. However, the Omni was the best money spent from the entire experience because those memories will last a lifetime and we will always look back on that weekend with great fondness and love thanks to the efforts put forth by the Omni Severin.

Pros:Tamryn and Tara were very professional and I could tell genuinely cared about meeting our needs. They stayed on top of EVERYTHING ! The Omni was a beautiful, elegant venue and was a convenient space for our guests to host both a wedding and reception. Every question we had was answered in detail and we were treated with respect during the entire planning process! I had a two level bridal suite and my husband got a suite as well. We had no issues with the hotel staff and the service received was up to par.Cons:The main entree for the guests, Parmesan crusted chicken, I heard was very good after speaking with a few who attended the wedding. However, a select few (including myself and my husband)got the short rib. It DID NOT taste like it did at the tasting. The short rib was very dry and hard to chew. Everyone who got the short rib were not pleased. I was somewhat disappointed about that because I was looking forward to a tasty meal. The spacing in the lobby for the reception was a bit small and there a few tables that weren’t able to see what was going on because of the walls. Additionally, my husband and I were looking forward to giving a farewell to our guests in the ballroom balcony but we couldn’t because the door was locked.I heard of some instances with rude kitchen staff and we also had some issues with the front desk staff related to valet parking. Rooms were nice and spacious but could use an upgrade.Overall our experience at Omni was great, communication was on point, and the needs were met by the event staff to make sure our day was complete and as smooth as possible!

Additionally, my husband and I were looking forward to giving a farewell to our guests in the ballroom balcony but we couldn’t because the door was locked.I heard of some instances with rude kitchen staff and we also had some issues with the front desk staff related to valet parking. Rooms were nice and spacious but could use an upgrade.Overall our experience at Omni was great, communication was on point, and the needs were met by the event staff to make sure our day was complete and as smooth as possible!

We had an amazing experience at the Omni Severin and would highly recommend it! It was the perfect venue for our ceremony and reception. The hotel is beautiful and truly a perfect place to get married. We felt so special from start to finish and really enjoyed the whole process with the help of everyone at the Omni. Caroline Steele, the Catering Sales Manager, did an excellent job helping us plan and execute all the details for our day like the food, beverages, table set ups, and ceremony space. She also helped to make sure everything went perfectly on our big day! It was so wonderful to not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day because Caroline and her team had coordinated with our other vendors to make sure everything was set up and executed according to our plan. I remember walking down the staircase after spending the morning getting ready and we were able to take in how beautiful the space looked before all our guests arrived. Every detail was truly more perfect than I could have imagined and the whole Omni team helped to create such a wonderful experience for us!We got a ton of compliments from our guests on the beautiful space, delicious appetizers, meal, and late night snack, and service from the staff. The hotel accommodations were great as well. We stayed in the presidential suite which was absolutely magical! It was the perfect space for me and my bridal party to get ready the morning of the wedding and has the perfect lighting for beautiful photos. We are so happy we had our wedding at the Omni Severin!

I felt so prepared thanks to their staff and wedding coordinator Sarah, I could not of done any of my planning without her. They made sure that all of our requests were met at a timely manner and when it came to the day of I had minimal stress because they were so on top of things! The hotel staff was friendly and warm to us and all of our guests we received lots of compliments from our friends and family! The venue itself is gorgeous with plenty of space for guests but not so big you feel like the room is empty. To sum it all up this was truly the perfect day, my husband was also very pleased with no major kinks along the way! I was able to actually sit and enjoy this day and not be stressed about minimal things.

We had our wedding here on Oct. 11, 2019, and it was PERFECT! I planned the wedding from Florida because we had just moved there from Indianapolis. When I was searching for a venue I was trying to find a venue where I didn't have to contact multiple vendors to get tables, chairs, napkins, food, etc. Everything is included. At first I thought it was a little pricing but for everything you get with your wedding package, it is TOTALLY worth it! It was soo easy to plan my wedding. One of my friends told me I should get a day of coordinator or a wedding planning but I didn't need one! The Catering Manager Sarah Bean was amazing! You would think she would just be in charge of the catering, but no she helped me SOOO much! She listened to us and what we wanted. I could email her at any time and she would get back to me, even if she was out of the office! On the day of our wedding she was amazing and made sure everything went the way we wanted it to. If anything went wrong I didn't know about it at all, she either fixed it or got someone to fix it! The entire staff at the Omni was soo nice and helpful! We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at the Omni and I wouldn't have had it any other way. A lot of our guests stayed at the Omni and if they didn't want to there are so many nearby hotels to stay at. All of our guests LOVED the food and drinks (open bar is so worth it) and the entire staff! I can't thank them enough for our amazing wedding day! The rooms are gorgeous!! We had our wedding here on Oct. 11, 2019, and it was PERFECT! I planned the wedding from Florida because we had just moved there from Indianapolis. When I was searching for a venue I was trying to find a venue where I didn't have to contact multiple vendors to get tables, chairs, napkins, food, etc. Everything is included. At first I thought it was a little pricing but for everything you get with your wedding package, it is TOTALLY worth it! It was soo easy to plan my wedding. One of my friends told me I should get a day of coordinator or a wedding planning but I didn't need one! The Catering Manager Sarah Bean was amazing! You would think she would just be in charge of the catering, but no she helped me SOOO much! She listened to us and what we wanted. I could email her at any time and she would get back to me, even if she was out of the office! On the day of our wedding she was amazing and made sure everything went the way we wanted it to. If anything went wrong I didn't know about it at all, she either fixed it or got someone to fix it! The entire staff at the Omni was soo nice and helpful! We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at the Omni and I wouldn't have had it any other way. A lot of our guests stayed at the Omni and if they didn't want to there are so many nearby hotels to stay at. All of our guests LOVED the food and drinks (open bar is so worth it) and the entire staff! I can't thank them enough for our amazing wedding day! The rooms are gorgeous!! Everyone was incredibly eager to make my day perfect. The wedding package is also very generous and my money went farther than some of the other venues I looked at. If I had to do it all over again, I would absolutely have my wedding at the Omni Severin.

I feel like I rarely read wedding stories in which every single thing flowed perfectly, but that was my day. It's almost sad because I have no crazy, wild stories that we'll \"laugh about later\" because everything went so smoothly, lol! But I couldn't have asked for a better day and a better venue. And omg the food!!! If they still have it and you decide to get married here, do the pork belly skewers. They're AH-MAZING. Thank you all, again! A thousand times over!

She was consistently an excellent communicator and would often answer emails within 30 minutes of my sending them, even on the weekends! She was extremely detail-oriented, efficient, and personable and kind throughout our whole planning process. The fact that the Omni Severin is such an all-inclusive venue, including ceremony space, all the food + drinks, catering staff, set-up and tear-down, it made our wedding day so easy and relaxing. We didn't have to worry about coordinating lots of different vendors. The space itself is so gorgeous and timeless, classic, and a beautiful venue to get married in.

This is just a wonderful place for a wedding. We worked with Tara Wrin as the Omni coordinator. She was terrific. Our daughter's wedding at the Omni included the ceremony in their ballroom (looked like a wedding chapel), cocktails in the mezzanine, dinner in the Severin lobby (complete with the beautiful staircase) and then dancing in the converted ballroom. I wondered whether the food would be as good as the tasting and it was! While there was another big wedding in the hotel the night before ours and 4 other wedding blocks we still felt very special. We also had a wedding brunch the next morning. Again, it was well done. Lastly, we had a few special needs guest. The Omni staff took care of all their needs and our guests complimented the attention paid to them. My daughter and son-in-law said they would do it all over again at the Omni (so would I as the MOB who was also the wedding coordinator). It is a beautiful venue, competitively priced, had delicious food, friendly and helpful staff and people, and a process that is easy to work with and organized. Thank you Tara and the Omni Severin!

I felt our wedding was planned and cared for as if it was her own wedding. The staff made us feel valued and welcomed each meeting, and they were well prepared. My stress level the day of the wedding was low, because we built a trusting relationship with Tara, and I knew she wanted our day to be special and perfect. We selected the Omni Severin Hotel over the Marriott for a number of reasons, most notably the beautiful foyer and ballroom. The venue is fabulous, but that's only part of the story. If you are looking for an all-inclusive, you will find it at the Omni. You don'thave to worry about linens chair covers, chargers, napkins, centerpieces etc. They have it all. One would think that there is a lot to coordinate, consider, and decide upon, and there is. However, the sales and catering staff at the Omni make it all very simple. Stacy Evans was our single point of contact for the entire affair. She did a sensational job and took care of every detail. She made the day so easy and stress-free, it allowed us to enjoy the celebration and our guests. She worked with us extensively on the menu, beverages, and layout. She was there for the entire event, and worked tirelessly to ensure everything was top notch and first class. Stacy was accompanied by a highly competent staff from the front desk people who made our guests feel so welcome, to Vincent and his team in the dining room, who delivered 188 meals and poured wine perfectly that evening. The food was the best we have ever had at a wedding and we heard this compliment from almost all of our guests. From the pre-functions, to the post functions, the Omni had it covered 100%. From the valet, to the bell men, to Madonna and her capable team at the concierge, everyone was an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend the Omni Severin Indianapolis and thank them extensively for what they did for our family and guests. By the way. You can't find a more beautiful venue in the city of Indianapolis, especially around Christmas.

The reason I knock it down a star was because when we switched rooms for the first dance (right after cake cutting) they completely cleared the tables with no warning to us or the guest and many people didn't get a chance to finish their cake or keep their favors because the staff put them in a room and locked up our belongings. Also during the dancing, whenever I put a drink down on a table staff came and get rid of it so when I came back after 1 song I had to go get another one.I felt like we were rushed to get out and I was so mad that I pretty much wasted my time on my DIY favors

I'm pretty sure the Omni Severin is the best place to stay in downtown Indy. The customer service and concierge is great. We have stayed there multiple times and used them for our wedding block. Location is perfect for venturing downtown. Would recommend for anyone for any event. For bride & groom would recommend the loft suite. Thank you!

I loved having my wedding at the Omni. Kate did everything in her power to make things go smoothly and that everyone was having a good time. The only slow issue was valet parking. Besides that, the food was great, the ambiance was great. I wouldn't change a thing.

Our wedding coordinator was Kate Edwards and she was very helpful during the planning process. She really helped me out with my budget and responded very quickly whenever I sent her an email. She was awesome! The ceremony went well and I had no complaints. The major disappointment was during reception though. We had a chicken and beef duet with Jasmine rice but the rice was undercooked. I was so embarassed because my guests were mostly from out of town and I wanted to make sure they had a wonderful meal... but it wasn't really. The service was pretty slow too--they did not even ask us what we wanted to drink until we were done eating. I was surprised that they were not very attentive to the bride and groom. I wish they at least tried the rice before they served it. :(

I wanted a classic and timeless black, gold, and white wedding (Think 40's Hollywood Glam). The atmosphere and architecture of the Omni Severin worked perfectly for our big day. \rI would probably shy away from this venue if you are having a really modern wedding with bright wedding colors (hot pink, bright green, etc.) because the rooms have a lot of personality of their own and may clash.\rThe chef also worked with my fiance to custom make the menu. We had wine shipped in from Napa, CA that we were allowed to serve to the guests for a corkage fee per bottle and they did NOT open up all of the bottles. We brought home 5 cases of unopened wine so that shows they are really honest.

We had a winter wedding and the hotel was decorated very tastefully for Christmas and added and warm touch to the entire event. The catering sales representative we worked with was Kate Edwards and she was wonderful! She answered all of our questions and did her best to make sure we had everything we needed. Although the Omni has a high minimum, a lot is included which makes it a great value and convenient because you don't have to find a place to get chair covers, sashes, votives etc. The food was excellent as well and our guests raved about the filet. We had 191 guest at the wedding and I wouldn't go over 200 or so. I think it can hold 250 but it would be a bit crowded. I would highly suggest taking a tour of the Omni, it is stunning and I can't wait to see our pictures! :)

Also, we loved the Omni because the only fee you pay is your food/bev minimum... you don't pay any room/table/chair/linen/tealight (yes, one place we looked at charged $1 per tealight!) fees. We also spoke to our awesome consultant, Amber, at a local bridal show, so we received a free champagne toast when we booked. AND as a bonus, the Omni threw in two free nights in a two story suite! There was no way we could pass that up. You REALLY get a lot for your money at this venue. \r\rIn addition, the Omni is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL space for a wedding. The high, arched ceilings and original, vintage chandaliers really set the mood for the event. The space is beautiful as it is and requires very minimal decorating too, which was great. We did splurge on an uplighting package from our DJ for the reception space, which I would highly recommend. The uplighting really transformed the room and set the tone for a fun reception. \r\rThe service at the Omni is amazing as well. Our consultant was fatastic the entire time, the front desk staff was great, the banquet staff was on top of every little detail, and the bartenders were so nice! \r\rI would encourage anyone and everyone to have your wedding here. It was truly an amazing day/night that I will never forget. :)

I looked at multiple hotels in downtown Indianapolis looking for two main things: 1) An amazing suite for myself and my future husband 2) A good quality room for my guests at a reasonable price. The place where I found these things was most definitely the Omni. They had the most beautiful suites with the best views of anywhere I saw downtown. We stayed in the Lilly Suite which has a large balcony overlooking the city plus all the modern amenities, I definitely would have stayed longer if I could. Amazingly, they also had some of the best prices and are in such a great location. Many restaurants, bars, and the mall are within walking distance for your guests. They also provide valet parking at a reasonable price or you are right across the street from cheaper mall parking. For a small fee, we were able to reserve their shuttle to transport our guests back and forth to the wedding. There were a few hiccups with this process, but the staff at the Omni was always very prompt in helping to fix any issues and even refunded some of our money because of the trouble. Brittany Hooper is in charge of wedding coordination and is amazing. She made the process go so smoothly and put very little work on my busy plate. I was very happy with our choice and plan to make a trip back for our anniversay in the future!!

My April 30th wedding went off without a hitch, and it turned out beautifully! Amber at the Omni made everything really easy- and my favorite part was that everything was included. We were very happy with the service we received at The Omni. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Our guests had a great time and thought the food was very good. The venue is gorgeous and everything was very organized. They did a great job making us feel important on our special day.

SO perfect!! The staff was wonderful to work with, especially Maxie, and the place is gorgeous!! It was so nice having the ceremony and reception in one spot and at the end of the night the guests could go up to their rooms and go to bed! It was a wonderful experience and would chose the Omni Severin Hotel again.. 100%.

The Omni Severin Hotel was the perfect place for a wedding! The staff was amazing and I would recommend this hotel to anyone! The food was delicious and the service by all the staff was awesome! Thank you for making me feel like a princess on my special day!

I could not give higher regards to the Omni Severin Hotel. I had some issues with other vendors and the staff at the Omni helped fix those problems. They went above and beyond. On top of that the venue is absolutely beautiful!!
