This elegant venue has a maximum guest capacity of 225 guests, with an array of layouts available for couples. 1 Memphis Street can host fully-seated banquet style receptions with a capacity of 125-165 guests, as well as cocktail receptions, and more. History 1 Memphis Street has a rich history behind it, operating within the agricultural industry as a cotton seed warehouse for the Banks Family Farms. The cottonseed was stored in the warehouse, with a system of conveyors that were supervised by the workers to ensure the seamless delivery of goods. In 2014, Piet Zee and Dale Wilson, partner-owners, started a project that involved the preservation and renovation of this warehouse. The duo incorporated parts and pieces from downtown Memphis, curating a vintage aesthetic for that venue that authentically reflects the 1930s era. Location 1 Memphis Street is located South of Memphis on the Historic Hernando Square. Hernando is 25 miles from downtown Memphis and 20 miles from the nearest airport, acting as a convenient venue for guests arriving from out of town. 1 Memphis Street is also just 10 miles south from Southaven.
